Fire Emblem and the whole death concept behind it. I can see how people like it, and It works for what it is, but it's just not my thing.
I just can't stand to see permanently losing characters I like because of one small slip up. Nothing makes me wanna quit playing more than that mage you put all your hard work into leveling, only to accidentally get slaughtered by one single enemy, in one cheap blow.
It's just not my kind of game. I'm too paranoid about losing my favorite characters to have any fun. >~<
I've never played much Fire Emblem, but if there's anything I've learned from playing Sweet Home...
Save often.

I would never assume the overall light-hearted graphics as being indicative of how the game actually plays. People complained when Wind Waker was announced and similarly for Skyward Sword for their 'childish look,' and both games were phenomenal, I feel.
I understand graphics being very subjective -some people like the bright, colorful look, and some like dark and intimidating- but just because a game appears one way from a minute-long trailer, doesn't say very much. As Blues mentioned, Ocarina of Time didn't have a consistently 'dark' look, but it had moments where it was dark.

Luigi's Mansion and Paper Mario were two games pushing me to the edge. This new Zelda game is the one that finally did it.

Ditto.
This is why I made the decision to have my character's wing cut off. She never really needed to fly, so the wings were more superfluous than anything.
To be honest, she gets more use out of one wing than she did with two.

That poll may be slightly inaccurate, as I no longer plan on playing as a Pegasus.
I was planning on that when I voted in the poll, but, after certain character alterations, I have migrated to team Earth Pony.
