sometimes I look at my accomplishments in life and realize they mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.  then I shrug and go on with my life.

The grand scheme of things is highly overrated. :]

Do you want to know what I am typing in the search bar of google?
"ways to suicide with out pain"
I really feel like I'm coming close to the end... I just lost my last friend today, I don't even have one good note in school (my best note is 68%)), I feel like my parents don't understand that instead of helping me, they are torturing me! Nothing is right with me... I started again to talk to my plush because I don't have someone IRL to talk of my personal problem exept my parents that instead of trying to fix or finding solutions, they are only saying "well, go find help!" I don't think they know I tried everything... I hope I won't have to do the unforgivable... Because if I don't find a way with in this summer, I think I'm gonna do it...

Refer to PM.

edit: We seem to have a handful of suicidal dudes here. I've had several good friends struggle with stuff like that too, so I'm used to the issue; if any of you guys needs someone to talk to when things are bad, I'll be around to PM.

I eat ice cubes.

There's no shame in that! I love eating ice cubes. In fact, I should do it more often. Thanks for reminding me.

Some suspect that if you crave chewing on ice cubes, you have an iron deficiency. o_O How odd is that?

Odd. I've heard a bit about that "pica" stuff (cravings to eat unusual things) but I can't think of why ice would be one of its targets. 'Course I'm sure not all ice-eating is caused by pica, though.

(new tip: don't look up "pica" on wikipedia, it's kind of disturbing)

I didn't mean pica. x3 Pica is where you eat inedible things. Right? The link between eating ice and not having enough iron in your body is likely not pica.

...Yeah, come to think of it, I guess it doesn't really qualify. Once again I jump to the weirdest possible conclusion. It's a potentially similar type of thing, though!

What does Fortify Heavy/Light Armor enchantments do?

Increases the protection you get from that type of armor.

It'll be interesting to see how mounted combat plays out. It sounds useful for archery/destruction if you get good at it, but it seems like it would be kind of awkward for melee characters.

I am disappointed there wasn't a ponified Neon Genesis Evangalion opening, that would be epic  O:

Well, it's not quite the same thing, but I made a NGE video set to the MLP opening song. Might not appropriate for this forum, but it's on my youtube page :/

That one gmod video did a NGE opening type thing with ponies and spies, but that's not quite the same thing either.

I always looked here every day. I was sad that nopony ever said anything new here though. I always wanted to say something, but I wasn't sure what. Anyways, now I'm glad the thread finally started up again! :D (Atleast I think it has. :/ )

I'd like to think it has started up again. While I don't check here every day, I'm sad to see it isn't in the list of New Replies to My Posts.

So how's about we get a discussion or some-such going in here? It may be fruitless to talk about LOE-related things without any new information regarding the game, but how about other MMO's? With all the anti-hype around every tidbit of information released about The Elder Scrolls Online, some of my curiosity has been sparked about our little community (intended).

I'd be interested in gaining a better sense of how some of my herdmates like to play. Do y'all have a lot of experience with MMO's? Which have you played? Why do you play? What do you think of full-fledged RP servers and that kind of playstyle? How do you like to play? (Let's sew some threads of conversation and community.)

Personally, I've played City of Heroes (but fell from that because I was just soloing, and when I wasn't having fun, I knew I had to stop) and Phantasy Star Universe (on the XBOX, which was little more than a glorified chat room. For all it was lacking, I had fun with my little group of friends (she did it again!), and regret nothing. The voice chat definitely helped.) I tried to start Star Wars Galaxies and Final Fantasy XI, but couldn't get into either (for much the same reason of no sense of community).
I'm... tenuously watching TESO (if only because I'm a huge fan of The Elder Scrolls. I mean, just look at my avatar and tell me you remember Morrowind.)

I suppose that means I play (or am at least interested in MMO's) for community. As long as I'm doing things with others (working together), I can have fun. I've never really RP'd (even tabletop, heh...), but am quite open to the idea (if I have friends with whom to engage in such silliness). It seems to be a pretty popular interest in this community, anyway. I've always had the most fun in dungeons and whatnot, questing with friends, actively doing things, and am hoping for plenty of that in LOE (or at least more directed activity than farminggrinding or sitting and chatting).

I've been avoiding TES Online news, because I figure it's going to be 95% complaining, which may or may not be eventually justified...  >:/ I'm a TES fan too, though I've only played Oblivion and Skyrim. I can only hope that the TES MMO is at least half as hilariously buggy as its predecessors.

MMO-wise, I played WoW for about five years. My main reasons for playing were a) trying to find unusual, amusing things to do (e.g. convincing newbies that I was a NPC) and b) being in a community of cool people. I eventually quit when most of them left and the game lost its "mystique". So yeah, community's one of my main MMO interests too. Weird though it might sound, I kind of enjoy having a large ongoing game to play over a long period of time, as opposed to single-player games which I usually finish in a week or two.

I too have never really RP'd (barring that one time I went to a RP server in WoW and ran around with a character called "Feeéeeéeetus" and tried to convert people to the "holy womb") - can't say I have a whole lot of interest in it, but there is a nonzero chance that I will eventually be dragged into it here. It's ponies, after all.

That Death Note one is great. The Code Geass one... well, I just finished watching that show, and that video makes me glad I always skipped the openings.  =P

"Peach" is incredibly high-quality, but perhaps not quite as impressive as... this!

it's nice to be able to be sort-of anonymous, lets you deal with past mistakes without having to be affected by them.  I know I made mistakes first time I was online x3

Indeed. When I first started using the interwebs, I was fortunate enough to join a forum of very tolerant people. In retrospect it boggles my mind how any of them put up with me.

When you make your first username on a site, be careful what name you choose. It doesn't matter if you change your username (unless you do so without telling anyone it's you), as your friends from that site will most likely keep calling you by your first one.

Me? I'm Tobi/Toby sometimes called Tobito-kai. o_O Yeah, big mistake back then, me being a girl and all. Again, I was like 12.

As in "Tobi is a good boy"?  lol

Also, has anyone else here noticed Applejack and Dashie seem like they switched elements before the series premier?

Yeah... that was a running gag in the third episode of Friendship is Witchcraft. It'd be awesome if the third season had an episode where they discovered they had been using the wrong elements for the past two seasons.

(yes I know that's not happening)

I remember playing that when I was younger... I really should get started again. I am pretty busy, though, and PQ can be a huge time investment.

The crazy Earth Nation king from the original series.

Alternate answer: Zuko's mom. ^-^

I've been playing on a rather interesting character lately, a Redguard trader, his main skill trees are Speech, Enchanting and Illusion, it's a very challenging yet fun setup, when it comes to combat atleast :]
I think this is going to become my main character..

Illusion is godly if you do it right. Speaking of which, I remember reading about some guy who made an Illusion-based character and got into the high 30s without ever technically killing anything - he just used Fury to make his enemies do his dirty work. I tried doing it too, but it's tougher than it sounds  :I

My monk hit a glitch in skyrim where no matter how many times he pays the fines or escapes from jail, the guards will always run up and try to arrest him in Winterhold  :I , looks like I'm never going there again  :l

Playing a monk in a game with virtually no support for unarmed combat? I'm impressed. I tried once with Khajiit + unarmed damage gloves, but it was still pretty wimpy  :c

Switch lives with Pikachu. I'm really hoping it's the special Yellow version Pikachu so I don't have to spend the rest of my life in a ball (or worse yet, in Bill's PC).

I played it when it was featured, too... it made me tempted to buy the Miles Edgeworth game  x3

In video games I usually gravitate to the "heavily armed warrior/knight" archetype, but as for which class fits me as a person, I'd probably be some kind of magical support class. Something red mage-ish, with the ability to attack and heal from a distance.
