Should I start over? The reason I ask this because of my favorite follower Vorstag is ruined from aciddentel friendly fire from Marked for Death and the lady who is suppose to let me buy guardian circle but won't have it.

Are you playing the PC version? You could easily rectify the latter with console commands. Maybe the former too, but only if you know where his corpse is. UESP has all the info you need.

Well, with reasonably well-implemented gameplay, we could put on all kinds of unofficial events, such as the above.

Most of the ones I've seen recommended are less along the lines of "enhance the game" and more "add ridiculous crap for absurd entertainment".

Like the MLP:FiM sleeping bag and the mane 6 horse mods? lol I still can't believe those popped up so soon after Skyrim was released. Right off the bat "Sleep in an MLP sleeping bag!" "Ride your very own Rainbow Dash!!"

That sounds great. I think there's one that puts pony faces on all the guards' shields, too.

Oh man, that reminds me, I don't think anyone has posted this yet:

Can't wait for this to be released. That guy also made some Skyrim videos involving a helmet that makes your head into Pinkie Pie's head, but I don't think I could post those here.

Mods, eh? I used to mod the crap out of Oblivion, but since Skyrim is still pretty young, it doesn't have the same giant library of goodness. Most of the ones I've seen recommended are less along the lines of "enhance the game" and more "add ridiculous crap for absurd entertainment". Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not my cup of tea. I found a few promising quest mods, though.

Tell me if you find any really great ones.

Off-Topic: Well, I accidentally found this amazing awesome video instead. Apparently, some people believe that anime is only for kids (LOL!!!) and this video proves them wrong.
Warning: Somewhat spoilery for Soul Eater, FMA: Brotherhood, Black Lagoon, Deadman Wonderland, Baccano, Code Geass, and Death Note.
Spoiler: show

Someone needs to make a video like that for MLP. "It's not. just. for kids." Show the villains, monsters, Cerberus, Sonic Rainboom, Atomic Rainboom (when Dashie exploded AJ's barn), mental breakdowns. I think they could have it end with the Atomic Rainboom.

No offense, but I don't think a few G-rated villains are quite the same as all that other stuff...  :P FiM is pretty definitely aimed at kids, but that doesn't mean it's not worth watching for other people. I mean, just because a show is a kid's show doesn't mean it's bad.

That reminds me to post this opening, though:

The guy who made that has some great videos. Some would be pretty inappropriate for this site, though  :/

wise? whats wise about hating and discust?
i would rather say a pesimist or a negative person :]

I was only 56% serious :P

That, and the fact that "as a wise man once said" is the perfect way to preface any quote. :]

AAAATATATATA

Holy crap, that's great. I gotta try it.

I'm betting it's still not quite as cheap as dual wield + Elemental Fury, though.

Should you get it? Yeah, it's awesome. Should you buy it? No, the Wii version doesn't add that much stuff. The game was originally freeware, and it's still available as such. Just get the game and the English patch here: http://www.cavestory.org/downloads_game.php

Question : Do you like Mecha Anime? I have one that I like. ( Explosions happen often. )

I enjoy them. I mean, Code Geass is on my watched list. Most of it (Other then the parts where the main character is using a supernatural power and killing people and accidentally ruining his own life) was giant robots fighting, and I loved it.

Huh, always interesting to see other perspectives. I finished Code Geass a few weeks ago and enjoyed just about all of it but the giant robot stuff. (That and all the stupid fanservice...)

Ghost in the Shell (movie) was interesting, if occasionally gory.

Aaaaand now the reputation wand is gone as well. Good.
Except now how will we punish the trolls?
I guess it's back to just simply reporting them.  :c
-sigh-

I doubt the average troll cares about a number that doesn't do anything. Reporting them, on the other hand, might result in post deletion/banning, which is a much more meaningful consequence to pretty much everyone.  :P

I remember grinding to get whatever-resistant personas too... P3 was a lot tougher than P4 in my experience (not counting that frigging sauna boss, who once one-shotted my main character from full health while he was guarding). My first run of P3P was on hard mode, but I hear that the original game didn't let you directly control party members, so I'd imagine original P3 would be pretty brutal  :I

Oh, and P3's final boss... not going to spoil it, but ugh. One of the biggest headaches I've ever come across in a video game.
656
I've only played P3P and P4, but they were both really awesome. Excellent gameplay and plot and music. :3

Quote from: Thunder Heart on 2012 May 31, 04:13:27
I've yet to connect with the characters on a level I did with P4, but I'm sure that will come once I've got deeper into the game itself and let them all develop and show their colours.

P3 was fantastic, but the story and characters in it aren't quite up to the awesomeness of P4. I really liked Aigis, though.

Hey, I posted this in another topic, but it's certainly relevant here too; someone ponyized the opening of P3. It's incredibly well-edited, and the ponyized version of the evokers is great.

...Also, if you're a fan of P4, there's a hilarious comic covering the first third of the game or so, and there's a very good dub of it on Youtube. If you haven't seen it yet, youtube "hiimdaisy persona 4".

I started a ranger-mage - archery, conjuration, and a bit of illusion. Even with minimal sneaking, it's insanely powerful, and a lot of fun.

My monk is currently hunting daedric artifacts, I've gotten 4 so far  ^-^

I was pretty excited about doing that until I realized how many of them require you to do all kinds of evil stuff. Most of my characters are Neutral Good-ish...

I have to admire the idea behind the Ebony Blade though. That's some top-class villainy.

I haven't, but I want to.

Pity I've already been spoiled on all the big plot twists by SSBB.  :c

What does Fortify Heavy/Light Armor enchantments do?

Increases the protection you get from that type of armor.

It'll be interesting to see how mounted combat plays out. It sounds useful for archery/destruction if you get good at it, but it seems like it would be kind of awkward for melee characters.

Does it work on followers?

Can't be completely sure, but the vast majority of effects in the game are supposed to work for any character/NPC, so there's a pretty good chance it does.
