Family? I don't have one.
They've all already have been gone
Ever since I was a little child
Still being bottle fed with milk, mild.

I do not know what it's like,
To have a family, much like Spike.
Perhaps I will never know,
For the feeling would never show.

No family, eh? Then what the hay
There's just one thing I need to say:
Celebrate with your ponyfriends
...before they meet their untimely ends.

Would this herd be willing to accept even Trixy? :c

Wow, a five day break in activity. That's crazy.

So, any other MMO's y'all are into or anticipate?

That's a pretty cool avatar.

I've been pretty busy lately, but I'm considering picking up SWTOR again now that it's gone free to play. If I do go back to it, I'll probably be playing Empire side on the Ebon Hawk server, if anyone else wants to check it out.

Hay, Book Smarts has a good point there.  Every time we wake up, it's a time to be grateful for another day of life! ^-^

On-topic: coming home to my pig and a nap.

I had myself a level 50 bounty hunter with some great gear, sadly I didn't feel like the money was really "Worth it" mainly because of the engine not able to keep up with 30 people in the same area or so. And yes I got myself a high end computer.  :l

That's strange... I have a medium-high-end computer and I never had that much problem with it. On bad days with high settings it sometimes gets down to 20 fps in extremely heavily populated places on the Fleet, but that's about it.

If anyone does join up, for what it's worth, I'll be on the Ebon Hawk server (probably Empire side) once I start playing again. Played there for a month or two before the F2P stuff happened, and it's a pretty decent place. Technically a RP server, but if you're not interested in RP (like me), it's not at all mandatory - only happens in the major cantinas, really.

Yeah, it sucks... I have to leave for classes at 8:20 two days of the week, but I usually put off getting up as much as I (safely) can, meaning that I only have a few minutes for LoEing  :P

GMT...  o_o I dunno about that, but I'm most frequently online between maybe 4:00 - 10:00 PM PST.

edit: which is 8:00 - 14:00 GMT, I think. Where the deuce are you, Magus?
I'm PST :P but I try to be "international" that way, since half the members are outside the USA entirely.

edit: ignore me my math is bad

I was subtracting when I should've been adding (because I am smart). I would actually be on most frequently between 0:00-6:00 GMT. You get up pretty early. I also didn't know that about 50% of the ponies here being from elsewhere.

I've come on here warning about that idiotic Warheads Challenge before, right?

To recap:
- Warheads Challenge: Put as many Warheads candies in your mouth as you can stand.
- Each Warheads candy has as much acid on it as the company can legally put on it.
- That is what makes a Warheads candy sour - acid. Lots of acid.

Some guy on Youtube ate 150 Warheads as a challenge for his fans, and part of the video's title actually says "(WARNING: Blood and Pain Ahead)". Um, yeah, that's a lot of acid going on your tongue. It's probably gonna start burning away at your tongue itself.

The Warheads Facebook page shared the video, telling everyone what a bad idea it is and hoping that no one else will try it.

By the way, base (the opposite of acid) can be dangerous in high quantities too. Apparently, kale leaves have a lot of base in them. I ate too many once, and it hurt my tongue so bad.

But bathing your teeth in acid is great dental hygiene! This is why soda is so healthy.

The accidental destructive power of children. I just want to put them in a fluffy padded room and give them toys they can't break. And maybe set up a TV behind a window, but in a way that still lets them hear it. Have buttons on the wall for the channels they're allowed to watch.

I can't recall how many times my nephew destroyed some of his toys, most remote control cars he ever got broke shortly after he got them. It's even worse if you let them play with animals me and my sister were babysitting 3 kids for my aunt once and they saw the kittens and wanted to hold them but the problem was they didn't know how to hold the kittens and actually almost hurt them so we had to stop them from holding them, I think we let them pet the kittens though with our supervision which was much safer for the kittens and the 3 kids.

Young kids around animals is always unpredictable and requires supervision. They don't completely understand animals yet. Some people don't seem to realize that, so that's kind of annoying.

"Annoying" is a bit of an understatement, if any actual harm is done...  >.<

Almost had to get a blood test today, and may have to go back to doctors in a week.

I dunno, I think getting blood tests/giving blood are kind of interesting, as long as you don't have an incompetent phlebotomist who stabs you badly and misses the vein  :l

In my opinion, I think
There should not be any holidays.
Some ponies might say
That is an absurd way.

But all these days bring
Only hatred and fights.
Surely we need not sing
About bringing others fright.

We need not these holidays,
Equestria's more than complete.
We have fun everyday anyway,
These days are obsolete.

Indeed?  Although I think it's not
So very useless as you thought,
Your own opinions I'll respect,
But let me this point resurrect:

I, for the most part, think these days
Can help, not harm, good friendship's ways.
They bring out joy and gratitude
And often even settled feud.

Now this is not always the case;
But I would not myself abase
A method which in general
Brings friendship, though ephemeral.

I have to say, that's not bad at all.
Few ponies around here would have the gall
To rhyme with such phat, unabashèd temerity
To crank out those lines with such blazing celerity
To rhyme with words like "ephemeral" and "abase"
With not one misuse - such poetic grace!
Now I didn't plan to make this ode quite so long
I'd better shut up, 'fore I say something wrong.

But as to the matter at hand, let me state
Before discussions of holidays abate:

...

I really don't have much to add, truth be told
But stick with me: if I may be so bold
Let me put this in a manner abrupt:
Modern celebrations like this might seem corrupt
With commercialization abounding, you know
Hallowe'en starts in September, just ask Costco
But all of these holidays, in reality
Have meaning when simply enjoyed by family.

I had no idea this topic was here.
It's too late to read through the whole thing, I fear.
I would stay and look through verses sublime
But I need to go shower, wash off all that grime.
I could end with the R-word, but predictability's a crime
Did you expect that word?

Spoiler: show

(I messed up the meter on one of those lines -
it had to be done to set up the punchline.
Perhaps that very last "rhyme" was cheating
Yeah, it was contrived, I deserve a beating.)
