Original Characters / The lowdown on Earth pony OCs

Well, sadly I have noticed the lack of earth pony OCs. 
So I challenge the people of LoE Forums to make one and when the game comes out, make it one of their playable ponies!
Earth ponies can be interesting and I've no idea why people don't have one. I've seen my fair share of pegasi and alicorns that are Mary-Sue at the best of times (
) but not so many earth ponies!
According to a recent poll on the dA group, #MLP-FiM:
2,355 deviants said I am Female, and my Pony OC is a Pegasus.
1,307 deviants said I am Male, and my Pony OC is a Pegasus.
1,253 deviants said I am Female, and my Pony OC is a Unicorn.
955 deviants said I am Male, and my Pony OC is a Unicorn.
But only:
814 deviants said I am Female, and my Pony OC is an Earth Pony.
791 deviants said I am a Male, and my Pony OC is an Earth Pony.
Well, I'll kick off this challenge with my Pony OC, Loud Speaker the Earth pony.
