Monster Hunter: Generations was awesome, so Capcom is making it double awesome. So far it's only scheduled for Japan, but hopes are looking high for a Western release. (I assume the name will be Monster Hunter: Generations Ultimate)
So far we have....
- 2 new hunting styles for hunters - Prowler hunting styles + an exclusive prowler hunting style - New hunting art for every weapon - A few new game mechanics - The addition of G-rank - New and returning old monsters - New(Maybe new) and returning old zones - 50 CC's of awesome
As Christmas comes closer our wishlists get longer. Tell us what you guys and gals are hoping for this Christmas!
I'm hoping for a decent microphone and to finish a project. Apart from that there's not much that I want... Well besides a New3DSXL, but I'm going to be shoveling snow for that so it'll be my money, not a Christmas gift.
American Thanks giving is just a few days away, even if you don't celebrate it being in another country or whatever you can still be thankful for stuff.
So write down your list of thankful things here.
1: The Game being so close to the LAR release, it's been in development for 5 years, true as that's ridiculously late it's still amazing to have a hard working team making it and spending their free time to make something we'll enjoy for $0.00.
2: All the other freeware out there that's helped me learn to further peruse a hobby and potential career, and all the physical things I got for that too.
So I've been to some brony sites, not too many but still. The one had this cool feature where you could privetly message someone in their chatpod.
I think that'd be a smart addition, because with rule 12 (a) it makes it hard to talk to someone if they're having issues or something, or you just don't want the whole world to see you, there's plenty of reasons for it.
And telling someone you sent a PM kinda blows your cover if you don't want suspicion if they don't want people to know something's up or to be reveled.
Regardless, I think it'd just be a good way to keep rule 12 (a) and give people a bit more freedom. Because frankly a bit more freedom could be cool, but we need that rule for a multitude of reasons.
I mentioned this about 2 years ago, not sure if it was a fully post of just a PM to a couple of the developers. But if I'd love to change my mouse to the LoE mouse pointer, or at least get the image so I can do the rest myself. (I'd edit it a bit if I could so it's at the same orientation as a classic mouse)
Well, yeah, they said it might pop up and never did. Maybe reconsider? Because my mouse is boring. At least maybe let us download the image? :'v
So, DeviantART has a Google Chrome notification extension that informs me and lets me check on my notifications and stuff, so the minute someone posts feedback or a deviation I'm informed and I love it!
Do you think LoE could get something similar? Because going through each and every thread I'm often on is just annoying. My Dad says to make your own Chrome extension isn't too hard.
I know it's a bit pointless, but frankly me and a lot of other people I know are very busy but love being here, sadly that's hard to pull off.
I know it's a bit crazy and weird, but I think it could cool.
Just.... Please don't give me the "Not everyone uses Chrome!" lecture.
So me, PeaceKeeper and Blue Cute pegesus all got this awesome idea. We were all laughing our heads off at some of these WikiHows and wanted to share them, but namely we wanted you to share funny ones you've found as well!
Look for other funny 'WikiHow' articles and post them yourself! Though could have funny pictures or just be funny in nature. Just make sure they apply to all forum rules, so read the whole thing before you post it!
Most Christmas eves me and my siblings would spend it at our Dads house. We'd hang all our stockings up and all the tree ornaments up and when we'd come home our Dads' cat "Hobbes" would have knocked all the purple shiny ornaments off the tree and all the stockings off the wall...all except his own stocking.(Which FYI was a cute little mitten!)
This happened multiple times.
But remember to keep the stories forum appropriate.
So, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is officially out and has been for some time now. I'm thinking about getting it. (Well, adding to my wishlist, 'cause I can't get it for a looong time, )
But... I have a few questions.
1: What have they taken out in the game sense New Leaf?
2: Is the new stuff really worth abandoning my New Leaf town for? (No spoilers though please)
3: The big kicker is... Can I justify buying it when I've barely done anything in New Leaf? I mean...my town is so pitiful because the few stuff I have done kinda put me in a back pickle due to poor planning...
But my Mom got it for me for my Birthday 2 years ago and it's hard to justify ditching it when I've only done a couple hundred hours on it... 'Know what I mean?
But now due to AC:HDD New Leaf seems pretty deal social wise...is the social stuff on HHD any good? They better have kept the tropical island and tours...
and a few more that I'm not going to fill this up with. I like Turquoise Splash's music 'cause I love acoustic stuff and his voice is phenomenal. I like FritzyBeat 'cause of his diversity, he does a lot of different stuff.
So, we had something similar for a few days what was abused and taken down...I know...Buuut... Why not ad the ability for Italic BBcode?
Don't make it activate at the press of a button like some places do, make it so they have to go through the whole [i.] [./i] stuff, that'd reduce a lot of spam, and the absolute worst this would do is maybe some horrible spammer would have a full sentence looking like it's about to fall over...
I mean is this THAT bad? Not to me at least... ('Course we won't be doing that, jsut saying IF a spammer finds out how to do it)
Now what would this add to the chatpage? That, right there, instead of emphasizing specific words with caps, I can use italic, which makes it look a lot more clean and less junky then caps.
Also, were someone to say a quote or something adding quotation marks isn't enough to make it stand out as a quote, I've had people countless times think I said it and was claiming it "as my own" or whatever because they sped read it and missed the quotation marks.
Emphasizing things without caps though is the main thing I think it'd add, it'll just make things a bit more neat looking. Though the addition of color, size, Underline, Strikethrough and/or bold I would protest against seeing as that would be spammed and horribly so.
tl;dr Italic instead of caps is nicer looking. Enabling it in the chatpage would make messages nicer. And they lived happily ever after.
So, deviantART has updated it's symbol thingy to that weird t shapped cross thingy.
Isn't it time we update our deviantART symbol at the top of this page too? This thingy... I mean...I know a lot of people don't like it, but sorry...it is their symbol now.
If you won't update it then I just suggest taking it down seeing as LoE's deviantART hasn't been used in years. That's another thing, maybe get the LoE deviantART group up and running again? But yeah, that takes a whole lot more work then just changing a picture, so I understand if you don't do that.
But all in all, to show our players we're actually here and working on stuff it's a good idea to keep everything as new as we can. Seeing as it's hard to know stuff's being done when we can only see the work every couple months, it'll just help the new players a bit.
tl;dr Update the deviantART symbol so that we look hip.
[EDIT]: Welp, that's fixed. I'll lock my own thread now 'cause it seems like something that's going to happen soon enough anyways and moderators just forgot or something, .
So, as some of you know I'm trying to get into singing. But...I suck.
People say I sound Nasily, Raspy, Slurring, whispery, nervous sounding, and have a hard time on the high and/or long notes. Now...I'd practice if I knew how, but I don't know what are good or bad habits, also I don't have the right place and stuff to do so.
I can't because my family's crammed here 24/7 and I really don't want them to hear me. I probably should just ignore my shyness and try to practice anyways, but that'll be hard. I can't take singing lessons because they're too expensive.
Suggestions? I'm trying my hardest to be the next Fritzy beat or Forest rain or Turquoise Splash or whatever...but failing so badly...
[shadow=grey, left]BREAKING NEWS! [/shadow] Starting this August I'm going to be hosting a MLP themed audio podcast. The exact date is not quite set, but probably sometime after Bronycon. The date is planned for early-mid September, quite possibly later. Good gosh, lot's of hardware issues and the cast having personal lives have set up back even further, so far we have no EToA. Sorry folks...
This has not been forgotten, things are still moving along, just slowly, but the are moving.
The cast will consist of me and a couple of my friends, though the full cast has not been decided either. The cast has been decided, though there will only be 3 of us there'll be plenty of fun to go around. Quite possibly more in the future.
The podcast will host guest stars on occasions, so we hope to see some of the more well known bronies join in on an episode or two!
On top of that later this year I'll also be starting an audio drama series about ponies, though no cannon characters will appear we still will bring lush characters, cute stories, and other enjoyment.
Seeing as this will have many more characters and such it's not impossible for some more of my friends to get a chance for voice acting and such.
So far the basic scripting is being written for some of the stories.
That's all for now! I'll update this when more information comes... [move]Stay tuned![/move]
Just an update, things are still being worked on and still in motion, I'm just working some stuff out 'cause life is a butt. [Updated:1/6/17]
Welp, due to a couple people asking...I decided to hit this place up again. Tore out a page in my life, and finally moved on.
I'll be back, derping with tea and whatever. I'm pretty sure some people have been spreading some lies about me, so hopefully you'll get my side of things before treating me like a derp.
For those who don't know me, I'm a tea loving foal who loves to draw both digital and traditional art, voice act, write, and quite a few other forms of art.
I'm a major Lord of the rings fan as well as a fan of The Chronicles of Narnia. I do like video games a lot, play MineCraft too much, as well as Fe:A, ACNL, AoMTX, and Spore now and then...though not too much.
Not much else to say about me other than the fact that I'm a bland person.
Just because I'm back though doesn't mean I'll be as active as I was before. I'll just be using this site as a promotion for my art, audio podcast, soon-to-be music, and such.
