also I thought of two exceptions to the earth pony smell.
Pinkie who obviously would smell like cake and punch
and applejack, because I believe she would smell like stacked farm hay with a hint of apple cobbler.

apple bloom is going to have something with an apple, everyone in her family has an apple something she is going to have an apple cutie mark.

sweetie belle is going to have a microphone or song note cause SHES GOT THE MUSIC IN HER.

and scootaloo is going to have a scooter cause trick jumps are the closest she will ever get to flying.

unicorn=root beer, why...just because

but in seriousness if the character is something you would never see in the show than chances are your OC is to far out in the left field. Also like has been stated already alicorns, just no.

I watch the videos on youtube, read the comics, and draw some ponies in my sketchbook and record my brothers remarks about the show just cause what he says is outlandishly amusing.

For me, I had noticed the pony thing popping up everywhere and I was starting to get annoyed by it. So, I wanted to know what made this variation so special and fun so I reluctantly sat down to watch the first two episodes. I say reluctantly cause I grew up with knowledge of the older versions of this show and honestly they caused physical pain to watch. But, I was pleasantly surprised by this version and just kept watching and three seasons later I'm still watching it.
