About
Blockland is a game Eric "Badspot" Hartman created in 2004, but released as retail in 2007. It's kind of like playing with Legos on the internet.
What makes this different from regular legos is that there is an eventing system, which would allow you to click/step on/whatever a brick and make it do stuff. There are also some add-ons made by the Blockland community, which would enhance your Blockland experience, such as weapons for deathmatches or even other types of bricks.

Isn't this some sort of Minecraft/Roblox clone?
No. Minecraft was released for free on May 17, 2009, and Roblox was released for free in 2005. Blockland was released for free on November 2004, which predates both of those games' original freeware releases.
For more information about this, refer to this unnoficial FAQ on steamcommunity.com.

Forum
There is an official forum for Blockland, found here, but be warned that the community there can be a bit rude at times. If you decide to join, please note that it requires you to register your Blockland key linked to your forum account, mainly as an attempt to avoid spammers, and I advise you to not use a pony-related username (since there are a bunch of haters and non-bronies there), and be sure to keep all pony-related content in this specific thread (except for a few exceptions).

This thread was created mainly because of the Steam release 11 days ago (at December 16) and to increase awareness.
I would've bumped the old one but I didn't because
1. the thread has way too many screenshots, and
2. some of the info there is inaccurate.
