My login button button is also non-functional.   

Running the game as administrator fixes this issue.

Windows: Right click, choose 'Run as Administrator'. (Click continue/accept/ok if prompted)

For the "Don't log in" problem: Make sure you re running the .exe with administrative permission.
For the Full screen: ALT+ENTER

This works! It fixes the unresponsive login button,

My name is Ruthalas.
I am a recent Brony and am happily exploring the wonderful fandom.
