Hey, guys. I'm not texan, but I live in Texas. Right now I hear a lot of people speeding (engine roars) and I secretly wish for them to get in an accident.
I'm not liking how the people who live near me act. I think most texans are rednecks, I see a lot of pickup trucks, and I heard Texas is one of those states with people who must have a gun. I don't buy guns since guns are bad, but many texans still want to buy one. I badly want to go to a brony convention, but there really maybe aren't close by. I think where I live is half bad but half good. Oh, and I live in the suburban part of one of the major cities of Texas, but not the capital.
Locking this topic for violation of the following rules-
Section 2, #7, part A: bigotry (stereotyping Texans) excessively vulgar language (wishing for people to get into a car accident)
Also I don't see how anything positive can come from this conversation.
As somepony who lives in Texas I can agree at times it can be a bit too loud. However the nature of the first half of your post is a little too controversial for our family friendly nature (namely our rules in regards to firearms and bigotry which are rules 7e and 7a respectively) so I'm afraid the vent will be capped at this point. And the point of the moderator above me has stated.
As for brony conventions in Texas there are three that come to mind. Brony Fan Fair in Austin, Fiesta Equestria in Houston and Bronyfest in Dallas. While I can't guarantee what or if will happen (last I recalled Bronyfest has been redesigned as 'Animation Celebration' so while not a brony convention it has its theme as ponies in space) you just have to look around and find them.
Don't forget to read over our rules (http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?topic=2470.0) a bit more thoroughly.
