Title: Can I use DirectX 11 in the game?
Post by: FanofRainbowDash on 2014 Jan 12, 14:00:26
I looked at the system requirements and it said DirectX 9 is a minimum, but can LoE use DirectX 11 or will it only use DirectX 9?

That's not always the case. Sometimes some games require specific runtimes because directx hasn't always been that backwards compatible with its previous versions. It usually is, but not always. That being said, the version of Unity we're using does support directx 11, so you're safe.

Ah, yes.....But games that are specific like that usually ask to have the runtimes they need installed....I guess what I should have said is LoE and alot of games don't need that...I figured what I said was right because i've never had any issues with compatibility since I installed 11
