I was thinking as there is so much good fan art out there you could have a page on your profile that shows the art you do, i know that you can have them in your signature or have links to a host page but it would be better to have one page were it shows all of them on thumb nails and ten just click to expand?

That's why we have a user-submitted series of boards, specifically the one for art (http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?board=12.0) in your case. Adding an extra page on your profile is too much work considering how few people will use it and how much easier it is to just link to deviant art or a user-submitted art thread.
