Rust is a game developed by FacePunch studios, well known for their one and only game, G(arry's)MOD
Its a Minecraft-DayZ-Stalker hybrid.
You can craft all sorts of stuff with items found or harvested around the world , craftable items vary from weapons to building parts like doors, walls stairs etc
Those parts can be used to build your own stronghold/fort/outpost whatever 's on your mind
The game features an open world full of zombies and other players, which can help you or shoot you in the back while you are going on your own business
Zombies can only be found in radiation zones tough, these zones contain rare items but are infested and full of radiation, thus making it a grab and runner.

This game looks very promising in my opinion, it takes away the for some frustrating DayZ instalation process and brings some interesting new elements to the mix.
