Angel shows up on time and starts bucking gently at the trees, she picks up the cherries as they fall from the tree.

Hello darlin' says Cherry You seem like you are ready for this season she adds. She opens her wings and hovers above the ground. Well, a new arrival will be comin' soon she says as she watches her every move of her hooves.

Angel: (while bucking at the tree) Hi miss, My name is Angel's Breath, please just call me Angel. It's really nice to meet you.

Well, Angel. I think it is truly great that ya' have some manners. Ponies who came last season who where fired had the worst of manners she said as she looked at the clouds. I think that the storm will be starting soon, it will knock down all of cherries making them more ripe when they bloom tomorrow  she added.

Angel: Should I keep bucking at the trees or should I come inside?

Your choice sweet heart, you might get wet out here. I have lunch in the hall anyway she says gleefully. She quickly zips into the air with her feathery wings and flies to the cactus green barn sitting near the lake

She stops working and flies to the barn and enters seeing the food on the table.

Angel: (drooling slightly) My apologies miss, I'm rather hungry. (giggles sheepishly) I never did get your name by the way.

 Names Cherry Song, you can call me Cherry. she says while digging into a cherry pie.

Angel: I'm going to steer clear of the sweets, I'm still a little out of shape from having twins. (she starts eating some carrots)

What are there names? she says as she raises her head from the destroyed pie.

Angel: Their names are Misty Moon and Winter's Bliss.

They sound like a bunch of sweet cherries! Are they any trouble? she says

Angel: They are, but they're only 3 months old right now. They don't know any better.

I know, they can be so cheeky but they are really the sweetest little things! she says

Laserbolt walked up to the two ponies talking with each other. Hey, folks, hope I'm not interrupting anything.I understand this is where I sign up for working the cherry bucking?

Angel: Oh hi, you aren't interrupting anything. We're just waiting for the storm to blow over. (turns to Cherry) Yes they are my little angels. (giggles happily)

Um... Kay... So, my name's Laserbolt! I signed up for work here, so here I am! When do you figure the storm will be over?

Angel: When the weather ponies decide we have had enough rain. (laughs lightly)

Uhmmm... Kay. Laserbolt plopped down and looked up into the clouds. He never liked the idea of ponies controlling the weather, but what are you gonna do, right?

Angel sits at the table finishing the carrots she had started eating.

Laserbolt fell over on the ground, looking up at the rain clouds. Ughhh... this is taking so loooooooooooong. Is there a house I can sit in?

Angel: I don't know, I just started working here today.

Darn. Welp, nothing to do but wait then... Hey, out of curiosity, do you know some kid named Dark Hooves?

Angel: Of course I know him, He is my hubby.

THAT COLT IS YOUR HUSBAND?! If Laserbolt was sitting in a chair, he looked as if he was going to fall out of it. Quickly regaining composure, he said, Um, sorry, it's just... He's a student at the Royal Academy, isn't he?

Angel: That was six years ago. He has matured a lot since then.

Laserbolt looked confused, then pulled out something that looked like a pocket watch. Oh. That explains it. I walked through a rift to get here, it must have shifted me in time too. Sorry, ma'am. That happens to me a lot. Heh... ehh... Laserbolt got up and looked at the clouds again. They just don't seem to be going away, do they? Oh, sorry! I never asked your name!

Angel: My name is Angel's Breath, but you may just call me Angel. It is nice to meet you sir.

Same here! So, how is Dark gettin' along? I mean, I'm just curious. I will have to teach him.. Or... will have taught him, I guess. Time travel, ya never know.

Angel: He's doing fine, I just needed a job to help bring in money to care for the twin fillies I have back home. I wonder how the foalsitter is doing.

Twins, huh? Congrats! There's a couple in Ponyville with twins, the Cakes. Have you met them? Incredibly nice folks. Let me work the store for some extra money.

Angel: I've met them, my mom and dad in law live next door to them.

Seems like you two get along! she says as she finishes the pie. I am gonna get some rest she adds sleepily.
Cherry slowly flies up the large ladder positioned by the wall and heads into her chamber. By the way, you can choose your chambe- Zzzzzzz

Angel: Hitting the hay sounds like a good idea. (she flies to a different chamber and gets comfortable then falls asleep snoring lightly)

I'll... Keep watch? For... stuff. Laserbolt stayed outside, staring at the orchard. After a while, he realized that nothing was going to happen out here. He decided that it made more sense to go to sleep, so he trotted to an empty chamber, crawled inside, and dropped off to sleep.

Flaming Blitz was walking around the orchard with his massive sword on his back tinkled with each step "Oh finally I found the right place, I guess." he said while walking around trying to find somepony.

Laserbolt heard a voice out in the field, freaked out a little bit and went into guard mode. HALT, FIEND! Do not intrude on this space! He jumped out of the chamber and tackled the new arrival. I know enough about thieves that you won't get the drop on me!

Blitz fell on his back and get Laserbolt out of him with a kick, after he get free he unsleashes his really heavy sword like if it was a branch "HEY! What's the big deal! Ah came here for work and I get tackled by a random stallion?! Is this the way ya'll greet a worker?!"

Laserbolt's face went blank for a second. A worker?
...
Oh. Oh. I'm sorry. You never can be too careful. Laserbolt looked at the new pony's sword. But why do you need a sword to pick cherries?

Blitz puts away the big sword on his back "I don't need it, but I bring it everywhere I go, since my father did it for me some years ago before our village was reduced to ashes by a dragon"

Ahhh. That's the kind of thing that makes you carry a sword with you. Say, you don't have, say, a vendetta against dragons, do you? 'cause I may have a job for you. Laserbolt extended a hoof. Name's Laserbolt. Guess we're gonna be working together for the next couple of months, huh?

"Well, I'm actually looking for that dragon. I don't want to kill him I just want to put up a fair fight and beat him" Blitz gives Laserbolt a strong hoofshake "I'm Flaming Blitz, just Blitz. Nice to meet ya and yeah, I guess we'll work together"

Nice to meet you too! Hey, since we don't have any work to do, wanna swap stories? You ever see anything... weird? A couple days back... I once saw a terrible creature, whispered about in hushed tones, all across Equestria by those who have heard of him... Know who I'm talkin' about?

"Nope, who are ya talkin' about?" Blitz asks

I speak of the dreadful... SLENDERMANE! He stalks the forests of Equestria, waiting for some poor foal to wander into the forest. And then... They're never seen ever again... I had to face off against him, and barely escaped with my life!

"Oooooh I'm sooo scared" Blitz said obviously faking fear "Why should he do that?" Blitz asks

He despises the way ponies live, because he is a spirit of the forest. He hates how we control things like the weather and the growth of trees. The kidnapping of young foals is how he takes revenge on us for instituting civilization. And before you ask... Yes. I didn't actually meet him. But I'm still looking for him. I'll find him one of these days...

"I think that kidnapping foals is an overreaction if you ask me, I'd like to look for that guy so I could tell him a thing or two" Blitz said.

Heheheh. That would probably end badly. You may never even see him before he gets you. Laserbolt looked at Blitz with a smile on his face. Of course, he may not even exist. That's what's scariest about him.

"Then if he doens't exist, what's the meaning of the disappearance of those foals?" Blitz asks

That's exactly what I mean. What if there are ponies who think they are serving him, by kidnapping foals? He may as well exist, because somepony is doing his dirty work! I've actually met them, and this time, I'm telling the truth. Terrible folk. They wear these awful masks. I have a photo of one of them.

Laserbolt produces a picture, shown below.

"If you met 'em why didn't ya stop 'em, if I find 'em I would punch 'em in the face!" Blitz said stomping the ground with the right hoof raising a little dust.

Yeah, I've taken one group out. But they're all over Equestria, and they're hidden. They're big on secrets, so it's really hard to infiltrate the cults. But hey, you aren't here to talk about cults and demons. Why exactly are you picking cherries? You look more like a mercenary than a farmer.than a farmer.

Angel quietly listens in on the conversation between Blitz and Laserbolt.

Hey, Blitz, you should meet Angel! She's working here, same as us. HEY, ANGEL! I know you can hear me! Come out and meet this guy!

"Basically because I need bits, since now I'm a wanderer I'm always without money" Blitz said and shortly after his stomach grumbles "and I'm always hungry, eheh X3" after Laserbolt yells Blitz looks around "Angel? Who's Angel?" Blitz asks

She's a worker here that I've made friends with. She married one of my students, so she and I get along pretty well.

"One of your students? So you're a teacher?" Blitz asks

I honestly don't know. See, I traveled here through time, and went 6 years into the future so that I can balance teaching and other jobs. I may still be a teacher, but I'd have to find the Royal Academy.

"A time traveler? But traveling through time wouldn't cause, uhm what's the name?, ah yeah, paradoxes?" Blitz asks

Paradoxes don't happen. They're self-resolving, because it's already happened! But I'll explain the logistics later.

"Uhm, yeah, I'm not familiar with these fancy things o_o" Blitz said

Alright, then I won't bother you with it. So, out of curiousity, where are you from? Trotland? You seem like a Trotland fella.

"Riverview, it was a small village of earth ponies. We were a self-sufficient village, we produced by us the food and we ate it. We were also a very strong folks, sometimes we were hired as mercenaries" Blitz said

... How much money can a mercenary make in Equestria? I mean, it's usually pretty peaceful, aside from the random apocalypses.

"Well, depends, we are usually hired to take care of timberwolves, dragons and other creatures" Blitz said

Angel lies down on a hay bale and starts to fall asleep to the sound of the rain.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Well, looks like Angel just fell asleep. I'll stop bothering her. 

"Who's Angel btw, your marefriend?" Blitz asks

...  You have a serious case of forgetfulness. I just told you, she's a worker here who is married to one of my students! Laserbolt looked at Blitz with a confused stare. Wait, I did tell you, right? I didn't imagine the past ten minutes, did I?

"Ah yeah, you're right. I think that I forgot that, ahah!" Blitz said with a chuckle

Aww, it's alright, pal. Trust me, I've been there. Laserbolt took out a tiny device that looked like a crab claw attached to a rope, and started fiddling with it.

Blitz noticed the device "What's that? A grappling hook?" Blitz asked

Oh, this thing? I started work on it as soon as I signed up to work here. It's a cherry picker! I'm planning on embedding a duplication and animation spell in it, so that it splits into a bunch of them, and grabs cherries all by itself. Laserbolt's horn glowed, and he threw it at a nearby tree. Upon reaching the tree, the rope tangles all around it, and snaps the tree in half. Um... There's still some bugs in there. Here, help me get rid of this. Laserbolt got up and walked over to the fallen tree.

"Perfect, now we have a tree in less to take care off" Blitz said as he walked to the tree "Take care of the upper half, I'll take care of the stump" he said and then he looked around "Where a place were there aren't pony around?"

Um... We could... bury it? Yes! Perfect! If we bury it, the seeds can go into the ground, and more cherry trees will grow! They should be thanking us, really. Laserbolt picked up his side of the tree with magic, and helped Blitz carry it to a blank plot of land.

"And don't you think that nopony would wonder that there's a new empty spot after we take out that tree?" Blitz asks

Um... It was an... auxiliary tree. Wasn't needed. Laserbolt looked around, looking more than a little freaked out. Look, it won't be an issue, alright?! STOP POKING HOLES IN MY PLANS I'm sorry, that was uncalled for. I'll just... take one of these cherries and put it in the hole, then cast a growing spell! Problem solved, right?

"Works for me, now let's dig a hole, I'll take care of the tree cutting it to pieces. That will make as fertilizer" Blitz said

Awesome! Laserbolt dropped the side of the tree he picked up, and focused on a blank patch of ground. The ground glowed, then lifted out of the earth around it. Push it in! This thing is heavy!

Blitz used his massive sword to cut the tree into pieces and pushes them into the hole "Done, now move up before somepony see us" he said

Laserbolt dropped the dirt back on top of the tree, and quickly ran back to where the tree was. He grabbed a cherry from a tree, and threw it into the hole. Then, he quickly used a growing spell, and a tiny tree popped up where the other one was.

... GOOD ENOUGH

"Nice, now we just have to wait and hope that nopony notices a little cherry tree" Blitz said and his stomach grumbles "All this job made me hungry, where's the food?"

I don't actually know. We could go get something. I saw a nice diner on the way here. Wanna come?

"HECK YES!" Blitz shouted

Awesome! Figure out what you want on the way there, because I don't wanna be gone from here too long.

"I already know what I want..." Blitz said making an pause for effect "I WANT TO EAT EVERYTHING!"

That's pretty ambitious. I guess I'm pretty hungry after all that too! Let's sneak out of here, before Cherry wakes up.

"I guess that Cherry is the owner of this place, right?" Blitz asks

Um... Yeah. This may not have been the best start to my working here.

"You're telling me? First I come here and I got tackled by a random dude and next I have to bury a tree, the best part of this is that at last I'll eat something good" Bltz said thinking about all the things he'll eat

Got a favorite food? I find a lot of the time that a good glass of cider and some sort of sandwich usually does it for me. And again, sorry about the tackling thing.

"Don't worry about that. Well, every good food is my favourite!" Blitz said

I hear that!... Ya know, that restaurant may have been further than I thought. We've been walking for a while.

"Come ooooon! I'm starving!" Blitz said and then he sniffs the air "Wait, I smell food, cooked, awesome, tasty food near here"

Where? It may not be a good idea to just wander off, Blitz.

"Follow me!" Blitz runs with the massive sword on his back

THIS IS A BAD IDEA. It could be gremlins or something! Who knows- oh, you're not listening. Laserbolt sighed, then ran after the runaway merc.

Blitz reached a restaurant that could do a buffet, as he saw that his eyes widen and he starts to droll for the food scent "Fooooood!"

Oh... Wow. That's a lot of food. I don't think I have enough money for this. You gonna split the bill, Blitz? Laserbolt pulled out a wallet from his saddlebags, and pulled out 5 bits.

"Uhm? What you lost me at the word food" Blitz take from his back a wallet that was tied to his sword "Uhm... I have something like 25 bits with me"

Awesome! We've got enough then. But, let me find the manager. I didn't see this place on the way in, and I don't usually miss big buffets. Laserbolt walked up to the counter and rang the bell. HEY! IS ANYONE HERE! The place looked pretty deserted, and no one answered for a little while. Well, that clinches it. I don't trust thi-

"HELLO! I want food! And I'm here for the buffet! We have 30 bits in total, I hope it's enaugh!" Blitz said

Blitz, wait a second. Laserbolt turned around and looked at the clerk.  Who are you, and where did you come from? You were not there when I turned around!

"Who cares! Where's the food?!" Blitz asks

Angel wakes and sees that nopony is around. She gets up then stretches then eats a little hay from the table and steps outside.

FURTHERMORE-
Sir, I don't understand your concern. You must have just missed us on your way in. Now, will others be joining you two?
Eh... No, it's just the two of us. How much does it cost?

"Perfect, here's the bits" Blitz said putting the bits on the table "Now please, bring me the food!" he said impatiently

Blitz, it's a buffet. You get your own food, remember? Laserbolt looked at the Maitre d'. I'm sorry, he's incredibly hungry.
Of course, sir, right this way to your table.

Blitz dashed to the table and grabs everything his hooves could take and puts it on a empty table, the amount of food he took is so much that it's not possible to see him behind the food mountain but it's possible to hear him eating "Oooh my, this food is sooo good" he said whilst eating

Laserbolt walked over to the buffet and grabbed some steamed vegetables, a mug of cider, and a slice of apple pie. He walked over to where Blitz sat down, pushed some of the mountain out of the way, and started eating.
How is it possible to eat THAT MUCH FOOD?

"I was hungry OK?! Plus, back in my village-" Blitz stopped in the middle of the sentence as a bit of food went down the wrong, he it hits the chest with its hoof for passing the food and when he did he took a deep breath "phew, that was close. As I was saying, back in my village we use to eat this much" Blitz said and continues to eat

Huh. You must have either been really hard workers, or everypony was fat. Laserbolt laughed out loud at his joke, then took a swig of cider.

"You're right! We were a really strong village!" Blitz said and he quickly finished more then half of his food montain "This food is really good, ya heard me? The cook is awesome!" he shouted

Yeah, my compliments to the chef. Hey... why is there so much food missing from the buffet? I mean... I know you took a lot... But... THERE! Some just disappeared. This is creepy. Just as Laserbolt had said, food was slowly disappearing from the buffet, as if somepony had been taking it.

Blitz is too busy eating the food to notice the food disappearing "What do ya mean? Maybe somepony made him/herself invisible to get a free meal" he said whilst eating and he almost finished his mountain

Well, unless they were also putting it back... Laserbolt pointed, and just as some food was disappearing, food in a different tray was being refilled. I knew this place was weird!

Blitz turns around and noticed that the tray was being magically refilled "Food that magically appear? This place is not weird, THIS IS HEAVEN FOR ME!"

Dude. Don't. Eat. Anything. I've heard of this before. Laserbolt pulled out a pair of goggles from his saddlebags, and put them on. Oh, dear Equestria! Looking around the room, Laserbolt could see several different amorphous shadowy shapes, taking food, and replacing it, like customers and staff. Blitz? I don't think this food's for us.

Blitz had already finished before Laserbolt could tell him that "Uhm? But we paid. Also, what did you see that scared you like that?" Blitz asked

You know when you're young, and you see shadows, and you think they're monsters? Well, I see those monsters right now.

"Pfff, shadows are just shadows, and they cook good so I don't care about that" Blitz said

You don't understand. They aren't shadows. They are what young foals THINK those shadows are. Do you understand? THEY ARE THOSE MONSTERS. Laserbolt realized that all the... things... had turned to look at him. Then they started to move towards their table. Blitz, we have to go. NOW.

"Well I finished eating so I think it's fine" Blitz said completely unaware of what was happening, so he get up with his sword on his back "Come on, let's go" he said heading through the exit

Laserbolt ran towards the door, and looked back to see if Blitz was following him.
Leaving so soon, sir?
Laserbolt spun back around and saw the waiter that greeted them standing in front of the door, blocking the exit.
Are you sure you don't want to finish your dinner?
NO, I THINK I WANT TO LEAVE NOW, THANKS.
Ah, well, that's too bad. The waiter pulled a knife from his waistcoat, and held it in front of him.
I think you're going to stay right here.
BLITZ? THAT SWORD WOULD REALLY BE HELPFUL, RIGHT NOW!

"Wooho!, first an awesome meal an now some fun, I BUCKING LOVE THIS PLACE!" Blitz shouted and dashed to the waiter with the massive sword and hits the waiter with the side of it not wanting to use the blade "HOMERUN!" he shouted as he used the sword like a baseball bat

Laserbolt ducked at the last moment, definitely not wanting to get hit by the blade. When he looked over, the waiter was out cold... but the shadows were still coming. Thanks, Blitz, NOW LET'S GET OUTTA HERE! He jumped over the unconscious aggressor, and ran out the door.

Blitz followed Laserbolt out and runs with him carring his sword on his back, smiling "Ahah, that was awesome. What now? A race?" he asked

Yeah. Now we go back home. Laserbolt looked behind him, and saw the shadows pouring out of the door. We go home as fast as we can. He took out a small, round, metal object, and threw it at the door. As soon as it hit, a bright light flashed, and the shadows pulled back in. That outta buy us some time. Now let's GOOOOO!

"Ahah! You won't beat me!" Blitz yelled and runs fast to orchard they came from

Laserbolt ran after Blitz, wondering to himself just how ridiculous today was going to get. He looked back one more time, to see the restaurant was gone. He kept running, just to make sure. When they finally got back, Laserbolt looked at Blitz. Do you take anything seriously? We could have died back there!

"Of course I do! Ahah! But where's the fun if you take anything serious?" Blitz said looking like to be saying something obvious "And btw, I WON THE RACE!" he said again laughing

...Yeah. Yeah, you did. Even filled up with all that food. Laserbolt suddenly looked worried. Hey, Blitz. Before I take these goggles off, turn around. He took a pair of tweezers and a jar out of his saddlebags. Just in case.

"Well that was a good way to digest" Blitz said "Even if I'm still hungry, you made me get out of that restaurant without taking the second..." he mutterd and then he noticed that Laserbolt was holding a pair of tweezers and a jar "Why do you need those things and why do I need to turn around?" He asked

Because. Trust me, I'm a scientist. I know what I'm doing. Laserbolt put down the jar and spun Blitz around. Then he reached out with the tweezers and pulled something off of Blitz, and put it in the jar. Here, look through these. He gave the goggles to Blitz to put on.

Blitz take the googles and puts them on "Ok, what am I looking at?" he asks

Laserbolt picked up the jar. Inside was a small, black, crab-like creature, scuttling around. It was about half the size of the circumference of the jar.  It's called an unfortunate. It's kind of like a tick that spreads bad luck. Without those goggles, you wouldn't be able to see it. Laserbolt took out another jar, and turned around. Alright, now you check me.

Blitz starts to check him up "I see, but were did that thing come from?" he pick the unfortunate with the tweezers "Ahah! Gotcha you little vermin!" he said

QUICK, TOSS HIM IN THE JAR! Laserbolt opened the jar and held it under the unfortunate as Blitz threw it in. Phew. That was almost bad. To answer your question, I think that place was a sinkhole of negative energy. These things thrive on it, just like the shadows. In fact, the food was probably made out of the stuff. Which is why I said you shouldn't have eaten so much. Don't be surprised if you get sick later.

"Pffff AHAHAHAH! I have a strong stomach I won't feel a thing Hah-Hah-hah-hah!" Blitz laughs "However, why did those shadows, as you called them, want us to stay there?" he asks to Laserbolt

They... I don't really know. That's why I need these little guys. If I can study them when I get home, I can find out more about it. My guess? They wanted to eat us or something. I've seen those things lurking around in graveyards before, sucking on bones and stuff. Laserbolt took the two jars, wrapped them in paper, and put them into his saddlebags.

"These little guys are really that dangerous? If so why the princesses are not doing something about this?" Blitz asks

Well, I know Princess Luna is. She's the only one of the sisters who will talk to me. She's got the Lunar Guards looking around for them. Laserbolt sat down, and took off the bags.

"I see, well shouldn't we buck these trees? We've been here quite some time, it would be suspicious if after all this time we didn't do a thing" Blitz said as he looks around at the trees

I actually think that we have to wait. I mean, it's still pretty late, and Cherry doesn't want us working yet.

"So we should just rest untill tomorrow?" Blitz asks

We could keep talking. That thing back there woke me up, so I can't go to sleep anymore. Hey, have you ever talked to Princess Celestia? She doesn't like me all that much.

"Naaah, I've never been in Canterlot actually, why doesn't she like you? For what I heard about her, she should be kind" Blitz said

Well, for starters, I've said some pretty mean things about her student, I am notorious for kleptomania, which I have medicine for, don't worry about it, and I kind of sided with Nightmare Moon when that whole thing was going on. Incidentally, it's what made me an assistant to Princess Luna. I knew that the whole thing was ridiculous, and eternal night wouldn't be so bad. It wouldn't be so warm all the time, that's for sure! Laserbolt glared up at the sun. I thought the punishment given to Luna was completely unjust. All she wanted was for some recognition, and instead, got stuck on the moon. I mean, really?

"Well, that punishment was slightly exaggerated, but think about it a moment, eternal night, if that really happend the trees wouldn't grow anymore and they would not give oxygen and fruit also the vegetable and flowers wouldn't grow as well. Quickly there would be not enough food for everypony and the whole ponyty ((pony version of humanity :s)) would slowly die by hunger" Blitz pointed

That's not true! There are plenty of spells that can simulate sunlight! I know quite a few myself. Besides, there are trees that absorb the chemicals that moonlight gives off, rather than sunlight.  Laserbolt pulled out a book, and turned to a page labeled, "Midnight Mandrake". Yeah, you mentioned that. So, what's your story? I mean, with the dragon, and the wandering, and the sword and what not. Seems like it'd be pretty interesting.

Blitz took a deep breath "So, I was born in this village called Riverview, cool village, good food, friendly ponies, we're all earth ponies actually, we were really strong, we mostly worked all day, working the land for farming and we get the money working as mercenaries or selling our products to other villages. My parents are all earth ponies, dad is a blacksmith and also a warrior, he taught me everything about how using a sword and it came out that it was my special talent as you can see looking at the cutiemark on my flanks" he said pointing at his cutiemark which is a sword "Mom, is a really beautiful mare, but every pony think that their mother is the beautiful right?" he asks but doesn't let Laserbolt enough time to respond "When I turned 16 dad made this sword for me, I'm really proud of it, because, come on, is pretty cool. One day, this dragon attacked us and destroyed our village, luckly nopony got hurt so we just had to move away. When that happend I swore to myself that I would find that dragon someday and I'll fight him, I don't won't to kill him I just want to put up a good fight and see who'll win that is me, HAHAHA!. So I left my hometown and I started to walk and walk and walk to find that dragon. And that's all basically"

Wow. That's...uh... that's a lot to take in. Sounds like you've had a mostly good life, asides from the dragon thing.

"Yep, I'm not actually mad at that dragon. What about you? What's your story?" Blitz asks

Hooo, this is a long one. Sit down, this will take a while. Let's see... When I was young, my parents sent me to the Canterlot School of Magic, because apparently, I showed a strange affinity for magic. I quickly became friends with a young filly named Twilight. We studied together, and grew from each other's company. However, after a while, she started studying alone, and she wouldn't talk to me for a while. This made me... more than a little bit bitter. I used it as my motivation that I would become better at magic than her. Every day, I studied, harder and harder. But she never even noticed me. I always found that weird. Then, on the day of the final test- where we have to complete some gargantuan task, to prove what we have learned- she was right in front of me. I saw her entire test. This does relate to me. Her test was to hatch a dragon egg, and she seemed pretty confident she could do it. My test was to start up a magical rune engine. It may seem like it's unfair, but hatching a dragon egg is really hard, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. But when she went to do it... Here, Laserbolt relays the story as we've all seen it in the show.

When it was all over, it was finally my turn. I was definitely angry, but I knew I could pass my test. But, of course, something wasn't right. When the planets aligned for Little Miss Twilight Sparkle, it supplied her with insane amounts of power, which had to come from somewhere. Guess where it came from? As soon as I tried to start up the engine, I blacked out. When I woke up, they told me I had failed, and would have to try next year. I was livid. I practically stormed up to Celestia and demanded a retest. I think that's when she started to dislike me. One long, agony-filled year later, I finally took the test. It had been changed to having to, instead of starting something up, to disabling something. An old, 6th Era Battle Golem. I had to shut it down. Yeah. It almost killed me. I think they were trying to make up for the extra year I got, but at the same time, I can't help but feel that Celestia had something to do with it. When I finally did it, I was told that I passed. But no princess came to congratulate me. I didn't get any special recognition, just a "You passed." I left, more than a little jaded. Then, after a decade, I had almost forgotten about it. I had started working at the same academy that I learned at. It was nice pay, but I knew I could do better. One fateful night, my life completely changed. Princess Luna was in my dreams. I know that sounds creepy, but it wasn't that kind of dream. She walked up and told me to meet her in the Canterlot maze that night. Of course, I knew about the kind of dream magic she used, and knew it wasn't just a dream. I woke up, and ran to the maze. It turned out, she was secretly watching my test, and knew how I felt. She told me that she could use an assistant to help attend to her matters, as she wasn't exactly the best at dealing with ponies. And she said she wanted to be a therapist of some sort, to help me with all the pent up anger towards Celestia and Twilight. It was still in there, simmering, and I knew one day, I'd have to face it. I accepted, gratefully, and excitedly. So, from that day forward, I was Luna's faithful assistant and right hoof. Then, some pretty normal stuff happened. I quit my job at the School of Magic, and started a new job at the Royal Academy. It's where I work now. I've been able to use time travel to work there and here, and that's when I met Cherry, Angel, and you.

So, there it is. My story. The important parts that don't involve jail time, that is. I don't really wanna talk about that stuff. I'll tell you if you want, but I won't enjoy it.

"Ya sure had an interesting life, I won't force you to tell me about that obviously. But if ya need any help with something just ask" Blitz said

At least we tried, right? Laserbolt looked around the orchard, hoping to see something interesting. Nothing.

Welp, I guess we should go to sleep now. I'm pretty tired.

"Meh, I'm not really tired but I guess I could go and sleep to, after all a good rule is always to be in perfect condition in case for a fight or for work. So, yep, let's go and hit the bed" Blitz sayd "Speaking of beds, where are we supposed to sleep?" he asks

Well, over in the farmhouse, there are some beds you can sleep in. They're pretty comfortable. Follow me. Laserbolt lead Blitz over to the farmhouse, and pushed open one of the doors. You can crash in here.

"Perfect" Blitz said entering in the room and then he put down his sword "I guess that I'll see you later then"

Good Night, Blitz! Laserbolt walked to his room, trotted over to his bed, and fell over. It had been a long day. A very long day. He was incredibly happy that it was over.

"Night" he said and then he fell on the bed and almost instantly fell asleep

Angel wakes and heads outside starting to buck at the tree.

As the sun came up over the horizon, Laserbolt looked out over the orchard from his room. A beautiful day to work. He pushed open the window, and teleported down to the ground. Hey, Angel! How'd you sleep?

Angel: I slept very well thank you, finally it quit storming. Misty and Winter will certainly have fun outside today. (smiles)

Cherry Song finally wakes up How long have I been sleeping...

If any of you would like it, my old friend knows a filly who works in a cherry pickin' farm. She was known for her trendy styles up in her place. She designed some uniforms for her farm and old Sugar Rush (friend) could get us some!

Well, Imma' get pickin' she says as she trots off outside as the rain settles quickly. Suddenly she swiftly takes off only to come back inside the barn after noticing how dark, late and cold it is.

Laserbolt pulled out a small walkie talkie, and started talking into it. Hey, Sprocket? I may need some help with this new job. Yes, I know that I've been gone, you know how the time travel thing works. Alright, cool. Thanks. Laserbolt flashed a bit of magic, and the device disappeared. Cherry, I'm gonna call in some help, that cool?

"Hey, it's not my fault, I was hungry!" he said and reached Laserbolt and passes trought the door "Let's be quick, so I can eat something"

Alright, I haven't seen Cherry, so... I have no idea what we're actually supposed to be doing. Hey, Angel! What are we supposed to be doing? I've never actually farmed before...

Angel: After I finish my breakfast I will be working, I will water the trees, check for loose branches and pick up any twigs that may be laying around.

Really? That's it? All right, sounds simple enough...

"Simple and also boring" Blitz said with a sigh.

Blitz, sometimes work is boring, but somepony's got to do it, right?

Laserbolt wandered into the field, completely forgetting about breakfast, and started picking up sticks, and tying them together with bits of reed.

"Yeah, yeah..." Blitz sighed and followed Laserbolt into the field and started to pick up the sticks, putting them on his back.

Laserbolt started using his magic to pick up 10 sticks at once to save time, and putting them in a basket he brought with him.

Hey, who are those fellas?

Two swank stallions trotted up to the door of the shack, wearing identical suits, except for the colors. One was red, and one was blue. They knocked on the door, and waited for Cherry to answer.

Blitz picked up more stick and on his back was built up a small mountain which seems precariously balanced, however Blitz doesn't seem to bother the weight on his back.

HEY BLITZ! Didn't ya hear me? There are some stallions over there who look kinda like mobsters...

The two suited stallions were leaning up on the wall, waiting patiently.

"What? Well, maybe they just want to sign up for cherry picking" Blitz said with a laugh.

Huh. I'm gonna go ask them about this. They seem... iffy. Laserbolt galloped over to the two stallions, and looked them over. They were both rather well groomed, and had almost no dirt on their suits, which made no sense for where they were. Hey, I'm guarding this place, who are you guys?

Laserbolt sensed the sarcasm in Back Stitch's voice, and didn't like it. However, if Cherry set this up, then it was probably all right.
... All right, just don't... cause trouble. Cherry isn't up yet, so you may have a while to wait. In fact, you should probably write a note or something and come back later...

Blitz chuckled hearing their accent "Just let a message, we'll give it to her later."

Back Stitch glared at Blitz when he chuckled, and Cross Stitch rolled his eyes. He turned to Laserbolt.

Unfortunately, we must speak with her today... Is there anyway to get her to wake up?
No, but I can help. She gave me co-leadership when I started working here, so I can handle the business deals.

Hey, she just told me someone would be coming, not that it would be twin brothers.

Cross Stitch handed Laserbolt a letter, then nodded to his brother. They both bowed slightly, and took their leave.

Really? It was just a letter all along? Jerks, lying to me...

Laserbolt squirreled away the letter.
I'm gonna find out about those two...
Laserbolt went inside, and knocked on Cherry's door.

Blitz just returned to picking up sticks as he snickers still thinking about their accents.

Huh. Alright, she isn't answering. Must still be asleep. Kind of weird, seeing as how it's her farm... Laserbolt took the letter and some tape, and taped it to her door. Better get back to work, I guess.

"Hey Laserbolt! Why do I have to do all the work here? Come here and give me a hoof!" Blitz joked.

Ah, crud. COMING, BLITZ! Laserbolt galloped outside, and resumed his work.

Blitz finished to pick most of the sticks and it made so that he had a small mountain on his back "Where do you think I have to put these things?" Blitz asked.

Um... I don't know, actually... Um. I know! We'll just put it in a bag! Laserbolt immediately ran back inside to find a trash bag.

Blitz walked to the house and waits outside trying to maintain the balance "Move up! I'm getting old here!"

Laserbolt ran back out, and levitated the sticks into the open bag he was carrying. Didn't wait long, I hope? He grinned, swinging the bag onto his back, and carrying it to the shed.

"If I was going to wait longer I would have to go to a retirement home" Blitz chuckled as he followed Laserbolt to the shed.

Laserbolt heard Cherry yelling inside the barn, and came running, quickly strapping on his goggles. He didn't see any changelings around, but he'd been fooled before. He yelled to Angel and Blitz. COME ON, YOU TWO, HOP TO IT!

Angel: I will do what I can, but I'm not much of a warrior.

"HERE I COME!" Blitz yelled as he followed Laserbolt inside the barn with his massive sword unsleashed. Once in, he looked around and since he didn't see anyone in there, he raised an eyebrow "Where's the enemy?" he asked.

Cherry, what's wrong? I heard you yelling about changelings, but I didn't find any. Oh, some guys came by to commission some uniforms. I put the note they gave me on your door.

Landlock looked around. "Wait...what's going on? Changelings?"

She went into her hut weakly only to come out with a torch. She tried her best to aim it at the young filly and colt about
5 metres away looking at a cherry on the floor, only to reveal 2 black figure both with a strange smile. THERE! THERE! She ran back into the hut and brought out a red broom

Angel: I have no idea how to deal with changelings, I will hide with Ms. Cherry. (she runs inside the hut)

((I see where this is going.))
Laserbolt stared toward the figures, and something clicked in his mind.
I know you two!

The figures turned to him, and spoke at the same time.
We know you do.

Blitz turned to Laserbolt "You know these two fellas?" he asked and then he return his attention at the changelings.

Come on, Blitz! You should recognize their accents!

The changelings walked forward, still cloaked in shadow.

"You mean that these two are those two freaks from before with their ridiculous accent?" Blitz asked.

Laserbolt watched as the changelings stepped out of the shadow, both wearing matching suits. One Red. One Blue.

What do you think, Blitz?

Blitz looked at them and then back at Laserbolt "Can I beat them up?" he asked.

Suddenly the two disappeared, their smiles hanging in the air for a couple seconds before vanishing completely.

Only if you can catch them, Blitz. I hope my goggles work on these things...

"How am I supposed to know if your fancy goggles work? Just use them so I can kick their butts!" Blitz said as he looks around in the purpose to locate the changelings.

As Laserbolt struggled to get the goggles out of his bag, he felt something bump into him. In mere seconds, he had dropped the goggles, and saw them flung into the trees, much too far to run after them.

Blitz hear flickered at the voice to the changeling "Bolt! Crouch!" Blitz yelled before swinging the sword towards where he heard the changeling, not using the blade of the sword but the side of it.

As Laserbolt crouched, he saw the body of the changeling fly over his head, then noticed something odd. When it was struck, it flickered back into what they saw in the day time, the regular pony with the suit. When he hit the ground, he disappeared, and a puff of smoke went up around where he landed.

Blitz! They aren't changelings! They're using gadgets, not magic!

"I don't care who the heck they are or what the heck they are using! Now where in Equestria is the other one?!" Blitz shouted ad he tries to locate the other one.

Blitz heard a voice behind him.

I zhink you'd better take zhings one at a time, ami.

((From now on, I'll be alternating between The Twins and Laserbolt))

Blitz's hear flickered again and he swinged his sword in the purpose to hit the pony/changeling/whatever it was behind him "See if you like this, ami"

When Blitz turned around, swinging his sword with as much might as he could, his sword collided with solid wood. A moment further, he heard a sound, like wind, behind him, and a pinprick of pain as something jabbed into his shoulder.

Promise not to bleed on my suit, and I'll kill you quickly...

On the other side of the barn, Laserbolt was fumbling through his bag, and coming up empty.

Should've known something like this would... wait. BLITZ, KEEP THEM BUSY!

At that, he ran out of the barn, towards the farm house, Tartarus-bent for something.

"Darn it..." he said as he felt his massive sword colliding into the wood. Blitz felt the pain on his shoulder but didn't flinch even slightly, he let the sword go making it fall onto the floor and making a loud noise due the weight of it. "Uhm... I think that you'll have to wait a while before you could even think about killing me" he said and turned quickly to grab whatever was behind him and throw it to the wall.
With the sword Blitz was rather slow in the movements but since he made it fell on the floor he became way more fast and agile. Also, his father taught about the martial arts, it was a main part of the training he needed to do to use that massive sword that could easily weight like a ton.

You really are an idiot, aren't you. You remind me of a fellow I once killed... Did you even zhink to check what was in your back?



Meanwhile, Laserbolt had gotten into the farmhouse, and was rooting around his room. He heard the fighting outside, but paid no mind to it. Finally, he grabbed two jars, and slipped them into his bags, then ran back out, running straight into something invisible. Not thinking, he stuck out a hoof, and caught the invisible assailant on the jaw, and ran past him.

"Considering that I've been already bitten on by back by a dragon, I don't feel much pain" Blitz said, trying to get whatever was in his back.

Blitz grabbed the thing in his back, and looked at it. It was merely a sewing needle, nothing too worrying about it. Suddenly, again from behind, he heard the noise, and then he heard a voice

Made you look.

The mad unicorn had a butterfly knife, and was just about to plunge it straight through Blitz's spinal coloumn, when...

HEADS UP!
All Blitz could hear was the sound of glass breaking, then swearing from the shadowy figure, as he stumbled away from Blitz.

"Freaking needle..." Blitz said as he took it out of his back, then he heard the glass breaking behind him and looked to find the unicorn behind. He picked up his sword and deals a massive crush with it to the unicorn as a payback.

((Looks like you finally caught on there, hope you like the idea of him getting thwarted by a jar lol)

The unicorn lay on the ground, seemingly incapacitated.

Well, we better find the other one, huh, Blitz?

"You're still here? I thought I made you fly away" Blitz said. "Now show yourself, if you wanna fight at last stop hiding like a rabbit and fight as the stallion you should be" he taunted.

((the characters themselves were inspired by the spy, but that is what I was going for. I didn't think that we'd actually enter combat with them, so I wanted it to be subtle, not... Well... this.))
You fool. Can't you see when you're outclassed! You can't win zhis. The voice seemed to be coming from all around. It doesn't matter what you do, you'll never beat us.

Just then, a very loud noise came from the other end of the barn, that sounded like an electrical socket shorting out.
Oh, did you?
The red suited unicorn now had placed a knife right up against the small of Cherry Joy's back, and was glaring at the two.
Move, and she is dead.

Blitz expression changed, he wasn't anymore the cheerful and childish stallion of before but he turned incredibly serious and there were flames on his eyes. The sword he was holding on his back started to become hotter and hotter till it actually inflamed. "What do you want?" he asked, with a different voice tone, a much depper and serious one.

((Finally I can use his skills))

Blitz snorted "You just have to do a wrong move and I'll put an end at you..." he thought as he glares at the two.

Suddenly, Blitz and Laserbolt both felt a knife pressed against their backs.

No, I don't zhink you will be doing anyzhing of ze sort.

Blitz just growled as he felt the knife on his back.

((You never know...He is a spy...))

Cherry charges at the hooded figures. She tapped onto the back of the two trespassers. Two ear-bursting bangs where heard throughout the whole orchard. I hope that works... she said panting. That may.....knock them out
they where only disabling pins that I put in the Shouter she said as she proudly stroked the neck of the shotgun. Cherry had cared for the gun for years after her family had begun passing the gun down.

Angel covers her ears with her forehooves at the really loud sound.

A cream-colored pony trotted around the corner, stumbling upon the remnants of the chaos. Her cheerful expression fell into a more confused one as she looked over at the freshly-fired gun. Is everything okay now? I've got no idea what just happened but I know it can't be good.

SWEET LUNA, CHERRY, WHAT THE BUCK! Laserbolt looked at the gun, then back at Cherry, his mouth agape. Listen, I don't know why you have that, but you need to hide it. Don't you know that possession of firearms is illegal?! He started to breath heavily, then slowed down. But, to be honest, I'm kind of glad you had it. Now, what is with these guys? And why did you seem so ready for them?

Cherry still rubbing gently at the barrel of the ancient gun. Cause' its usual we get changlings around here, so after my fathers previous changling attack Grandpa Shouter brought him a gun she continued Father told me that soon one day i'll own a big ol' cherry orchard, and so,
the gun was passed down to me! she said as she unloaded the dusty firearm.
Cherry poked her head up to see the new arrival looking worried. Eh heh..

Cherry, maybe you didn't notice, but those weren't changelings. If they were, they would have changed back by now. They disguised themselves as changelings! We met them earlier, but all they wanted was to make uniforms for the place. They gave me a note to give to you. Have you read it?

Well, it's in the house right now. I'll go grab it. Laserbolt ran into the farmhouse, then came back out with the note, giving it to Cherry. As she took it, he said, Soooo... Are we gonna hide the gun or what?

Angel uncovers her ears still ringing after the gunshot. She heads outside to see Cherry holding a rather big gun.

Angel: What are you doing with that?!

That's what I said!

Well, Swizz, seeing as how this invasion happened, I'm not so sure this place is well protected. Lucky I tossed those Unfortunates on them. Speaking of, nopony move until I get back!

Laserbolt ran off into the orchard where his goggles had been thrown before, and yelled behind him:

Blitz, can you fill them in on the bugs((meaning the Unfortunates))?

"I guess, but I'm not really good at explaing things!" Blitz yelled back

"So, earlier me and Laserbolt came across this strage shadow like ponies. They cooked good but Laserbolt told me that if we didn't leave that restaurant we were we would not came out of there anymore. So, after I kicked some of their flanks we escaped, then he wear those fancy goggles and took away from me that little bug like vermin. He said that those bugs bring unluck to however they are on, also they are invisible so we can't see them. And that's what I recall" he said.

Laserbolt reached the orchard, and began fumbling around in the dark.

Where is it... Blast those changeling wanna-be's... AHA!

He scooped up the goggles, and strapped them over his face, then began trotting back to the farmhouse.
Once there, he took two mason jars from the kitchen, and ran back out to the barn.
Everypony look out! Science is about to happen!

Angel: (seeing the new face shyly approaches the mare) Hello.........

Cherry Song spreads her wings and zooms to the barn, but zooms back to greet the new arrival.

Laserbolt dashed around the barn, looking for the strange, ticklike creatures.

There's one....

He lifted up something invisible, and put it in one of the mason jars.

Blitz, can you turn around? I think you've got one on you.

Cherry Song giggled quietly as she watched Laserbolt gallop around the barn. She climbed the old ladder up to her hut. Quiet faint whispers echoed down the halls of the huts.

Suddenly a loud groan boomed through the barn.

URG! I KNOW!

Blitz turned around to let Laserbolt examine him "Again? I'm something like honey or what for them?" he asked. He turned his head as he heard the loud groan "HEY! What's wrong?"

Laserbolt used the tongs to pull off the last bug, and slid it back into its jar, then turned his attention to his boss.

Whatcha yellin about over there, Cherry?

Angel starts working by gently bucking at the nearest tree and picking up the cherries that fall.

Laserbolt looked over at Angel. Are you... seriously just working? I mean, I like your ethic, but...

Angel: This is what we are being paid to do right, so why just sit around doing nothing. (she keeps working)

*shrug* Fair enough.

Cherry walks out of the room with a nervous smile. Ehheh... Just about the um.......  Cherry looks around the barn and stares at a stool. The stools! There wobbly!

She walks around the barn handing out the pay. 100 bits each for 10 weeks.

Laserbolt stared at Cherry, and raised an eyebrow.

So what you're saying, is those two thugs attacked the orchard... because the stools are wobbly? Not buying it, boss.

Angel:......................... (gives a confused look)

Cherry Song sighs and flys into her hut. She brings out a orb. This is probably why...

Laserbolt's confused look turned into a big smile.

Blitz looked at the orb, with the same look that a foal would look a candy "Ohh, can I have it?" he asked.

Swizz walks over to the mare who spoke to her, assisting her in gathering up the cherries. She smiles at her, unsure of how to begin a conversation between the two of them. After a moment of silence, Swizzle opened her mouth to speak, but shut it again. Celestia help her in through the awkwardness.

Angel: (noticing the mare) Yes?

Um, Swizz. I don't wanna be rude, but if you've got something to say, you should probably save it til later. There's some pretty serious business at play right now.

Angel: That looks like what my hubby would describe as a magical item, of what I don't know.

And watch this! she says in excitement. She chants some strange words and before the workers eyes she has completely imitated Laserbolt's appearance. Even her voice sounded like his! 

Huh. That's rather impressive. But, they could already do that, right?So why would they be after that?

Angel: Could that be the source of their ability to mimic others?

Cherry Song chanted some more words and returned to her original form. Yes and no. Full changelings use their abilities they are born with. Artificial changelings use a spell to transform into full changelings. The effects can be reversed if they use another spell. Also, our family owed the changelings a pony from our family, but grandpa Shouter tricked the changelings by sending them a clone born from the sunlight, so when the moon came out it evaporated. So the changelings are after all descendants of our family.

Wait... I thought they weren't changelings. They weren't using spells, they were using... this thing.

Laserbolt held up a weird circular device.

Unless... They weren't becoming us! They were just turning invisible! They want that so they can transform too!

The unicorn guards have been minimizing the changeling population so don't worry about it. Cherry Song throws the two intruders into the barn and trots over to Swizz

Angel: Well I'm not much an adventurer, can you boys handle that? (she starts watering a tree)

Minimizing the... WHAT?! No! No, no, no. I need to speak to Luna as soon as possible about this... Are you sure? I've seen Celestia make some bad decisions, but I don't think she'd go that far!

She quickly unfolds her brittle wings and flys through the orchard at a fine speed. She soon flys to the edge of the orchard were she is seen looking over the cliff to the Neighagra Falls.

Angel hears Cherry yelling of not to tell Luna about this which she was always good at keeping secrets.

She continues working by watering the other trees until she stops for a break after spending an hour of lugging heavy water containers. She lies down in the shade of a tree and decides to take a nap.

Cherry's voice jolted through Laserbolt, and as he watched her fly off, his fur bristled. How dare she tell him to withhold information from the princess!? WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE-

Calm down, Laserbolt. Think. Logically. Alright, Blitz, I'm gonna talk to the "changelings". You wanna come?
Not waiting for an answer, Laserbolt walked towards the barn, where the two ponies lay unconcious. His horn lit up, and an aura surrounded Back Stitch, as he shook awake, and sat in front of Laserbolt, groggy but aware, bound and gagged.

Alright, pal. I need you to start talking. First, what do you want? Second, how do you know Cherry? And third, why does she hate changelings so bad, and want to keep their oppression secret from Princess Luna? Please cooperate, I need this to help you out here.

Blitz heard Cherry's scream, which hurt his ears and made his ears to flat onto his head "Geez that mare is stubborn..." he thought to himself before nodding at Laser question and following him to the changeling.
Once the changeling told them his excuses, he raised an eyebrow and looked at Laser to see what he was thinking about this.

The wedding? What does that have to do with this? You two aren't even real changelings! Laserbolt picked up the gadgets they were using to disguise themselves as changelings, and the device used to cloak them.Now you listen carefully. I want you to tell me the truth. Does Cherry know that the orb is Luna's? And why would Luna have something like that, and not tell me about it?

A cream colored mare was walking over. She was a unicorn, cream colored with rich brownish red on her spots and muzzle, she had baby blue eyes and raven black hair, she had no cutiemark but she looked extremely shy as she walked over.

Who is zat? Asked the fake changeling

I dunno? Maybe Cherry is calling for back up!!! said the other just waking up.

Laserbolt turned and saw the mare, sighing with annoyance. Great, another newcomer. Blitz, can you keep her out of here? I need to concentrate on these two. He turned back to the "changeling", and continued his interrogation. If she doesn't know the orb is Luna's, then why did she seem so averse to me telling her about this whole affair, especially not the supression of the changeling race?

She waved slowly and smiled a small smile.

Blitz nodded and before going to greet the newcomer he looked at Laserbolt "Alright, but if you need some help to "persuade" them to tell you more I could always give you a little help with my sword" he whispered before taking the massive sword and make it vanish in a blaze of fire.
He walked away from them and walked down to the mare "Hi there, I'm Flaming Blitz, just Blitz. Did you come here to help us with the cherry picking?" he asked.

Y..Yes.... I..I'm HoneySuckle...... pleased to meet you...

"Nice to meet ya HoneySuckle. Wanna have a walk around here?" he asked, wanting to keep her away from the changeling affair.

Blitz tilted his head "Really? Well, I think that you are really pretty, regardless of how you might look like" he said with another smile.

Blitz chuckled a little at what she said "Hey thank you! You are the first one that said this to me" said the red coated earthpony.

"I'm not saying that you were lying! Just that I'm surprised that a cute mare like yourself gave a compliment to a stallion like me" he said, chuckling again.

He blushed a little bit as well but it was hardly noticeable from his red coat "Thank you! You are really nice too. Hey, we could hang up more once we finish this work" he suggested.

"Alright! So, uhm, what would you like to do?" he asked.

Cherry had seemed to calmed and slowly and sadly flew back to the barn. She realized that she had to show the others how it was done. She cheered up and flew the highest she could. When she dived down she flew at nearly super sonic speeds. All the cherry trees were shaken, resulting in all of the cherrys slowly falling into the baskets set up below. Luckily, we had set up for the big wind. It was almost raining pink cherry blossom leaves, giving the orchard a quiet and peaceful look.

I love dancing... and singing.. having a good time... It never matters really... I also like walking..

Cherry flew to the top of the clouds and puffed them down into a fine lace. She hung them on the trees to decorate the orchard.

Blitz shaked a little as he felt the ground shaking and the trees as well, then he saw all the cherries falling into the baskets and the pink petals flying around. Blitz eyes widen as he saw the beautiful sight in front of his eyes "Wow..." were his only words before he shocked his head to return his focus to HoneyShuckle "You sing? Could you sing me something?" he asked with a smile.

She nodded.

Blitz was speechless, her voice was amazing and the cherry blossoms that were flying around were making her look like a princess that was singing in a garden of flowers in full bloom. He couldn't do anything else if not blush and saying "Wow... that was amazing..." he said in amazement.

Thanks.... she smiled a warm glowing smile.

Cherry, dumbstruck, fell from her cloud in shock of this talented filly's voice. She was speechless. O-ok... Lets forget about the PFA for now. That voice is like a fruit bat rainbow just started singing the most beautiful song ever!

"I-I mean it! T-that was incredible, you looked so pretty when you were singing with all these... uhm... petals or leaves or whatever that I thought that you were a princess for a moment!" he said, still amazed by her singing.

Thank you... She said surprised but smiling.

"I'm speechless... I just don't know what else to say if not wow... just wow..." he said again.

Thanks... It's very nice of you... she was blushing.

"Do you know any other songs?" Blitz asked, wanting to her another song with that beautiful voice of hers.

Blitz was again in awe as he heard her song, she had a really great voice and he couldn't understand why she didn't had a career as singer "Wooow.... You are truly incredible... Have you ever thought about starting a career as singer?" he asked.

Cherry Song lost in the lyrics of the song fell asleep peacefully on the grass. By the time she tried to wake up, the cherry leaves had buried her. She shook them off, but had no words to describe how amazing she sings, she was speechless!

No... I never really did... I'm too shy....

"But you are so incredible! It would be a waste if such beautiful voice like yours would be wasted!" he said.

I'm way to shy to be seen by those... hundreds of ponies!

"Hundreads? HAh! I think that you would call more then a thousand ponies only with your incredible voice!"

Cherry's ears pricked down as she trotted down a small mossy path, she sat at the end looking at a small rock with an engraving in it. She placed a Cherry dyed blue next to her tomb. That first song would make mum happy, she said as she smiled sadly

"Yeah! Your voice is too amazing to be just hear from a few hundreads of ponies!" he said, cheerfully as his usual behavior. Then he looked at Cherry and his smile dropped "Oh... I'm sorry for your loss..."

Chi!!...... A.. thousand... thousands of p..p..ponies...

Angel wakes from her nap and gets up to stretch.

Blitz walked up to the three and looked at her "Hey, why are you hiding up there? Nopony is here to hurt you" he said.

She smiled a big smile that sent a glow in her cheeks.

"There's more I like it!" he said as he makes his face return to normal and laughed "Aren't you just beautiful when you smile?" he asked, always with a smile on his muzzle.

No, its about over that. She points at a small hut painted red, green, yellow and blue that seems to be rotting down. I used to live there because we were very poor. Recently, those stupid guards steal money from mum's piggy bank while dad is asleep.

Laserbolt raised an eyebrow.

I see. Well, I think I should have it. Not only is it Luna's, but specifically it's Nightmare Moon's. I think it may have been instrumental in the Princess' transformation. It's a very dangerous magical object. And I know Luna personally, so if I return it and say I took it, then the worst I'd get is a reprimand. If it turned out that some normal pony somehow came into having it, things could go pear-shaped fast. So, if I could have it to return back to Luna, it would be appreciated.

Laserbolt stretched out a hoof, slowly.

Before she could hand it over cautiously, a tall unicorn mare trotted gracefully past. When Cherry saw her she hid it behind her back

Laserbolt puffed up his chest, and levitated a small badge out of his saddlebags, trotting up to the unicorn.

Excuse me, Ma'am, but I believe you are trespassing on private property. Furthermore, this is currently a crime scene, so I'm going to have to ask you to leave under the authority of the Lunar Guard.

Laserbolt flipped out the badge, which stated quite clearly what the badge meant for the reporter if she didn't listen to him. The Lunar Guard were fair, but like Luna herself, didn't like being ignored.

Excuse ME, but I am the royal treasurer she says as she pulls out a badge that is decorated with jewels.

Laserbolt had a full military air about him now, glaring straight at the mare.

Honey Suckle had finished her work for now and began to watch the sky in sadness.

There wasn't much Blitz could do, he let Laserbolt take care of everything else while he took care of the trees. After he was done, or rather, after there wasn't anything else he could do, he noticed Honey Suckle staring at the sky and she seemed sad to him, so he thought that talking with her would make her feel better.
He walks to her and sat next to her "Hey, are you alright?" he asked to her, always with his usual smile.

Y..yes.. I..I'm fine... she sighed looking at him.

Blits tilted his head a little at her reaction, it seemed to him that even if she said that she was fine she was sounding everything but fine. "Are you sure? You don't sound fine to me" he said.

Laserbolt's mind began to race. He hadn't counted on someone actually affiliated with the royals... He looked around and saw Blitz talking to Honey Suckle. Ah, perfect!

ADMIRAL BLITZ! Please escort Ms... The Royal Treasurer off the farm. We have work to do.

Admiral? Since when did he become part of the royals? And who was that Royal Treasurer he was talking about? He thought that all this was some sort of plan that came to his mind. "Uhm... Yes sir! Should I wait for you, sir, after I reached the location?" he said, trying to play along with what Laserbolt had in mind.

No, soldier, just take her back to Canterlot, safe and sound. Come back when you're through.

Then, he walked up to Blitz, and whispered in his ear.

If anypony asks, tell them Captain Laserbolt sent you back with her. Hopefully, Luna will pull through for me.

He nodded but there was a thing that he didn't tell to him and it was that he had a terrible sense of direction, saying this was a little embarassing to him but maybe he had something that would help him, somehow. "Uhm... Laserbolt... There's something I have to tell you... When I saw the announcement of this work a few weeks ago... I started to walk to get in here the same day... You have to know that I tend to get lost rather often... eheh..." he whispered back at him.

Laserbolt's face almost betrayed him. Great. The only pony with a semi-military air about him couldn't find the broad side of a barn. This wasn't going to end well. He pointed in the direction of Canterlot, which was actually visible from where they were.

See that big castle in the distance, Blitz? GO TO THAT.

Blitz turned around to see the castle far away from where they were. It was surely going to be a looong trip if they were going to go there by hoof.

"Uhm... Alright I guess... But, uhm, what should I do with Honey Suckle? She doesn't seem really well to me and I don't want to leave her like this..."

Laserbolt looked at the young mare, sitting on the ground, trembling.

I'll talk to her, soldier. You just get the treasurer back to Canterlot.

Blitz looked at the mare, then to Laserbolt, then to Cherry and then to the castle behind him. Lastly, he looked back at Laserbolt and nodded.

"Alright, take care of her while I'm away. I can't see her like that even if I just met her. I'll take care of taking the treasurer to Canterlot, even if that means that I'll have to take her in there on my back"

WHOA WHOA WHOA, there, pal! No violence. I'm sure she'll comply. If anything happens along the way, protect her, but use your best judgement. Don't get into fights just to get into fights.

Laserbolt was starting to get an appreciation for all the junk the guard captains must have to put up with.

"I hope so, but even if she would not, I would never hurt a mare and sworn to my father that I would protect them when they were not able to protect themselves."

With a blaze of fire, he called back his gigantic sword and put it onto his back so that he would be ready to go.

Laserbolt snapped back into the rigid stance of a military officer, and walked back to the treasurer.

Alright, ma'am. Admiral Blitz here will show you back to Canterlot. I'm sorry, but some wanted criminals are detained here, and we're still interrogating them.
