Heh... actually, I think this is the way I joined. Somepony on Xfire simply posted a pony song and I dug in deeper, and... heh... kinda never came back.
Maybe that's the best way, without forcing it on him and just let time take its course.

He eventually gave, at the agreement that I stop spamming him
