Title: What sets you apart?
Post by: Lucien on 2013 Mar 27, 22:19:14
What can you do that not many people can? What kind of insanity do you have?  ovO (everyone is different somehow.)

I know I'm a Synesthete, which makes it so that if I hear of a sound, read a word, think of a specific letter, name, etc, an abstract or maybe not so abstract image pops into my head.

For instance, pertaining to musical notes:

A- dark red
B- bright red
C- bright blue
D- red
E- yellow
F- brownish-yellow? (I think both brown and yellow, F is fuzzy.)
G- green

other letters (I have to be thinking of the letter by itself, words often have their own colors or images)

I- pure white
J- purple
O- black
P- green
R- red
S- blue
U- purple
Y- yellow

The rest of the letters are fuzzy, unspecifically black, or a color which I cannot describe (H is a light mahogany or something)

Tastes, feelings, and numbers all give me an involuntary image in my head.

1- white
2- yellow
3- navy blue
4- ?
5- ?
6- green
7- dark green
8- red
9- bright blue
85 or 58- green (kind of worked into my head, look up Dream Theater's album, Octavarium, which registers as very green to me.)
I REALLY wish I had taken art in middle school, because the images that aren't abstract (listening to lyrics of a song that form a nonabstract image in my head) are usually very detailed.

Other than synesthesia (which needs to be a word in the english dictionary), I also have Perfect Pitch (I can tell you by letter what a note is if I hear it) and Absolute Pitch (I can sing or play a note if you tell me what note to play by letter)

I like to do multiple somersaults in a row if I find a long, clean patch of grass... even in public.  Is that special?

I often feel like people know something I don't. Here's a soundbyte.

THAT'S A JOKE FOLKS
But for serious, I often use large words that I think I know, but really don't. >A<

Well, uh, I probably have some Asperger's Syndrome, allowing me to hear multiple sounds at the same time, and I hear them louder than most people do.

This lets me listen to other people having conversations when I'm just sitting in the School Hall waiting for assembly to start, and sometimes it gives me a fun time ovO

Only problem is that so many people talking can be overwhelming to my ears when it captures all the sounds at once  :I

I can get people to hate my guts just by saying "Hi" to them.

I have multiple purposely broken body parts that still work normally, but now has additional benefits.

I'm curious, very intelegent, very logical, but not very observant sometimes. I love writing if it's something I want to write, but do it quicklt and sloppily if I don't want to do it. i'd probably make a good lawyer. my sistersays I have large pupils, but I blame carrots. I've been told that i'm both good at singing, and tone deaf. I have many friends that are girls, but no girlfriend. for some reason, I can always compare my friends to characters. (my best friend has an uncanny resemblance to Yukiko from Persona 4) and I can get people to hate my guts using my extensive repituar of oral ammunition, my diction makes them go comepletely insane. i'm terrible at spelling them, though, according to my computer. I made my friend (the one I mentioned earlier) interested in both  ponies and Persona. for some reason, I am a lot like Chuggaaconroy.

I have a nearly eidetic (photographic) memory. I also seem to have an ability to visualize something in front of me simply by imagining it was there, like a mirage. For instance, I can imagine I'm in Equestria and before I know it, the walls around me change, my body form changes into that of my OC, and those around change as well.

I don't think I've ever felt true jealousy until now...

I don't think I've ever felt true jealousy until now...

It's a blessing and a curse -- my ability... On the upside I have a... relationship with Rarity... *Dreamy-eyed*
But the downside is that I all too often use my ability just to escape life when it becomes over-bearing. It's like a drug; the more I use it, the more I want to use it.

It takes willpower to prevent one from slipping away into a fantasy realm.

I'm really wierd, here are some things that separate me from your average person:

-When I was born the doctors damaged a nerve in my right arm so I can't normally move it around and I have to excercise...
I can also pop out my right collar bone and it makes a popping sound and hurts a bit so I don't do it and my right arm is shorter in length than my left arm.

-I'm pretty smart and I know a lot if it isn't about life,I don't know some people's names or surnames or stuff but I simply don't care. I care about science, animals, the interesting things, I don't really care what are my teacher's names or when does the store open!

-I can also draw pretty well but only animals. I also draw dragons all the time and I love them......And it makes everyone angry. They keep telling me to draw something else but dragons are so beautiful....But I draw them like real animals-no crazy colors or 15 wings, although every person would think of a dragon as a fantasy creature,I prefer thinking of it as a real one.

-I HATE when people touch or even worse, move my things around. It's indescribable. I HAVE to place my school clothes on a certain spot and won't place anything else there or even touch that spot because it's dirty, I sit on chairs where a hundred other people sat and keep my hands on a dirty table. I can't even touch my school bag without washing my hands.
It's not really that dirty but my mind registers it as garbage or something.
But I can pet animals without worrrying. I dunno why. If I see a dog on the street,I'll try to pet it.

-I also have a terrible stage fright and I don't like talking to people, especially strangers which is bad because I wrote 3 storybooks and every once in a while someone in my school pops up and asks me wow did you write that book, how can you draw so well, what grade do you go to,what's your name..... >.<

Well every single song I hear on the radio, I start drumming... Even if I dont even know the song my hands and feet are just like "okay lets drum"

And I sing harmonies with music on the radio too ><

I have really really pale skin.
And I have haphephobia. It's fear of touching and/or being touched. I know it sounds silly but it's real I have it!
