Introduction:
Hi, everypony! Wavelength here with a new type of RP for you all! In this RP, you won't be bringing any existing OCs in; you're a brand new life, and a new young pony going to Kindergarten to meet your peers for the first time. As you play, you will shape the new characters of those around you, allowing interaction with the community to form a new generation of realistic original characters!
Growing Up: OC start date:
This RP will begin on March 23rd. If you want to join after that, go ahead and ask! There are students who show up halfway through school, after all.
Choosing Your Character
Sign up by first simply stating that you would like to join. After you sign up, I will use an electronic device to randomly select between unicorn, pegasus, or earth pony. Ah, that brings up another point: we'll start out a little younger than the Cutie Mark Crusaders when we meet each other. Remember, this is Kindergarten--we aren't all professionals in the speech category, and some of us may still be a tiny bit clumsy.

Well yes, Kindergarten. So we're the approximate human age of 4-5. The CMC are more like say, 8-11, I would guess.

This might be helpful. For us human people, here's an assessment of the development of an average four year old. Obviously everyone grows at different rates, so this is a generalization, but it might be a good guide for some of us.

Keyword babies. Babies use their mouth to explore objects. (not unlike other animals- ever had a puppy?) By four years old, humans have better tools for investigating objects; their hands have enough motor control to be a much more effective tool. Now ponies, lacking fingers or opposable digits, will use their mouths to carry items, but at four, they probably know not to eat their toys and they won't want to, like I said before.

On topic- I feel like any Equestrian teacher who washed out a foal's mouth with soap would be fired. It's an extremely cruel and painful punishment.

I think Bravo is asking that your pony characters be show accurate. Ponies in the show have pupils. I think what he also is trying to drive home is that this is a standard, canon, MLP RP. No extra powers, no wacky backstories, just happily little kid ponies living a normal pony life, going to kindergarten. If those aren't standards you want to play under, you probably wont enjoy this RP.

The name Hitler is just a name. The name Pikachu is a species. The name Thanos is a name for an Iron Man character from Titan, derived from Thanatos, the Greek personification of death and mortality. If Thanos really was just a name, then a pony wouldn't have it; like Morning Glory said, we ponies are named after physical traits. Thanos really isn't a good name here.
