Legends of Equestria - Forum

     This roleplay begins in a small tavern near the center of a town called Trotstram. It's a small town, mostly built for passerby's to rest their eyes and their hearts. There's a gentle tune floating through the atmosphere, originating from a pony playing a lyre downstairs in the tavern. The rest of the town consists of your basic necessities. There's a place to eat, a place to sleep and a place for all the official residents.

     There's a mare sitting at one of the corner tables, a cozy little nook surrounded on most sides. She sips on a Virgin Cider, not  being much of a drinker. She has a book and quill out, relaxing and writing about who knows what. (The reference for Explicit Escritoire is above.)

     (I'll post an occasional poll to somewhat lead the roleplay in certain directions, and I'll send PM's to those I want directly involved in a change of events. However, as I am only a humble guide and a wanderer for a ride, You will inevitably blaze our path to excitement or relaxation. The roleplay is now invite only, but you can still invite your friends to join us. You can also come and go as you please, as I'm not holding you here with due responsibility. I find not doing so makes the members of the roleplay more comfortable.)

A young filly trots by reading a book, with a second book on her back. She looks up to see a mare writing something.


((She's a little older then what this pic shows lol))

Explicit Escritoire, commonly known by her friends as Escy, notices the young mare trotting by with her eyes planted in a book. She always finds herself curious about literature and can't help but squint to try and read the title. When she can't make out the words, she simply calls the pony over.

"Excuse me, you with the books?" she asks, trying to be as polite as possible. She knows how some ponies can react to strangers.

when the monster see the tabern a lot of old memories come to him mind, old friends already disappeared, his favorite phrase, you gain fliying when throwing to someone through the window to the lake. the bar tables, the brick to the iron, nuan the dragon he decides enter to see the local

Escy uses her magic to sit her book down beside her drink, and slip her quill inside a magically sealed tip so that the ink doesn't make a mess. Her magical aura is a soft lavender color, slightly dull to indicate she's not the most magically gifted of unicorns.

Oh! It's the new book about the princesses! It has the history of Twilight in it! *she hops up to the table and puts the book down. The book on her back looks far older then the one she's reading*

She pushes the book open with her hoof, actually preferring to do most things without her magic, and notices a familiar yet changed picture. It's a picture of Princess Celestia and Luna, as displayed in the last book about the Princesses, but this time with another violet pony below.

"And you'd also be surprised how little people questioned her becoming an alicorn," she adds as her smile, too, is re-added to her expression. "What is that other book you have there"

I question how to do it, because I want to be a princess one day! ^-^

This is my favorite book! *she levitates it off her back and shows it, her magic glowing tan* It's about defensive spells.

Somewhere in the town Zappy is practicing his magic, off in private.
In a clear, dark lit area he practices his "Bolt" spell, which turns him into a bolt of lightning and shoots off at incredible speed until he hits something. Zappy is practicing to get it to turn off when he wants it too rather than hitting something. At each use a quick thunder is heard.

Zappy bolts around a few times, just now getting some control. He dashes for a 10th of a second and stops with a skid and his hooves smoking.
ow ow ow ow.... >.<
He shoots up in the air for a 10th of a second and is 35 feet off the ground. He falls for a few feet before catching himself with his wings and landing gently.
This is really hard...
Zappy takes out a flask and sips from it and puts it down on the ground, sealed.
I'm getting better though!

Zappy shoots himself around some more, getting better at stopping on command. He tries something new, shooting up into the air and then back down to the ground. He crashes face first into the ground.
That doesn't work... he mentally checks.

Zappy hurries around the house to the front and peeks at the ponies through the dirty windows, all that can be seen from the outside are his blue glowing eyes.
I see ponies...but who are they? They look like a family...

*Rad backed away, ready to run with Miracle if there was trouble*

"Odd. I do recall there being a town around here." The odd stallion murmured to himself as he went over the bridge, confused. He crossed over the wood and stone arch bridge, as the wood creaked and slightly bounced under his hooves.

Just as you cross the bridge, you hear a wolf howling in the distance, some ways to the north. Shortly after the howl, another, more booming howl is heard. They seem to be two different types of wolves, communicating with each other.

Just as the stallion placed his last hoof on the dirt path across the bridge, his ears flicked. The sound of the first howl flicked his left ear, and the louder, harsher howl flicked his right, one after another. He paused his momentum just past the bridge, questioning on what was further onwards. "I'm sure there's a town...right?" He questioned himself.

We need to get back to Trotstram quickly!"

"Odd. Too odd. I've could've sworn that there was going to be attention everywhere..." He said, as his ears flicked again, responding to the howling that sounded like the Thunder in the clouds. He walked towards it, curiosity taking over his conscious.

The timber wolf watches it flee, then its body, made of wood, begins to slowly reform and it stands on its hind legs. It turns to the group, its wound slowly beginning to heal itself. It speaks.

"Who are you, and why do you trespass upon the Timber Wood?" it speaks, revealing a gravely, male voice.

Explicit looks at the group and then back to the timber wolf. First she meets a changeling, then she meets a talking timber wolf. She's really not even surprised anymore. She responds hesitantly. "We were looking for the source of a loud boom. We thought that it might have been a thunder wolf, but we were wrong. It wa-"

Explicit was cut off by the timber wolf, who growled low and quickly responded. "If it was not a thunder wolf, then what? No other creatures makes noises such as that? I'd be content with leaving you for dead if the thunder wolves didn't deny it themselves."

(Big post, big conflict, a few things posted beneath the map to explain what certain locations are, a character page for Explicit added. I'm putting lots of time into this roleplay for some reason. It must be the members~)

Explicit put her hoof to her forehead. "I need to stay home more often." she says as she pulls her book and quill out, making several notes as she leads the group the rest of the way out of the forest.

(Sorry that seemed to end so quickly, but we'll probably be meeting him again. I feel as though I've taken control over the roleplay for a page or two, it's time to have you all guide for a bit :3 I will follow~)

Zappy follows them back nervously.
That was weird....and scary :s

Still following the noise he heard previously, he continued his way onwards, unaware of what he might meet.

After a small trek through some of the forest, he can barely see something. The shadows of three ponies, no doubt.

"Hey. Hey!"

Sure! *she hops off and goes to Zappy as they leave the forest*

"Oh, hey there! I thought I'd heard someone." Escy says with a smile, completely relaxed now that they've exited the forest back into the edge of town.

"Oh...um..." The recent events that had happened recently since his welcoming to the ponies have been...awkward, to say the least. "Your a unique...bunch."

She pushes it open and finds her daughter sitting on the couch, Pride lying down beside her on it. Gael's ears prick up and her face lights up in a smile. She hops off the couch, Pride sitting up a bit and watching her. Explicit leans down and lets Gael crawl onto her back. She trots into her home, relaxing by the couch. Pride immediately notices there are new people around, and he rolls off of the couch with a thud as he lands on his feet, waiting for his new potential friends to enter.

Wow. Nice house. *takes a seat next to Explicit*

The stallion felt odd, left out. All the ponies there had a family, someone else to comfort with. He was the only one left in his family, his closest friend being the arrogant robotic friend he dubbed Seven. He sighed, gave a cough, and looked at the ground as he trotted inside.

Zappy enters staring at Pride nervously. He approaches him slowly and carefully.
H-hi?

Pride immediately hopped over to Miracle. He has a very good judgement of character. Gael watched Pride and Miracle, assuming that anybody Pride was comfortable with, she could be comfortable with. She hops down, shyly moving over to the other young pony. Pride brushes against Miracle, letting out a soft, low purr, brushing against the changeling next, making no distinction between the two of them.

Gael looks up to see Rad, and she quickly hides herself, cuddling against Pride who is now laying among the entire group, a natural whore for attention.

"Well, it seems like everypony is getting along." Escy smiles, then looks over to the strange pony they met. He seems to be... distant. She nudges Rad, motioning in his direction.

"You think he's lonely?"

He reminds me of Kito, somepony's dog that's as big as adult ponies.

"Well, lets change that. Come over and sit with us!" Escy says, motioning for their newest friend to come over and have a seat with her and Rad.

"Hi, my name ish Gael" Gael says with a smile on her face. Her speech impediment is obvious as she talks, but her voice is soft and sweet. "I don't meet many other ponysh here."

Pride licks Zappy and continues to purr. Gael cocks her head to the side, finding herself absently playing with one of the holes on Zappy's legs. "Why do you have holesh?"

HAHAHA! D-d-don't do that! It tickles! Zappy laughs and falls over while Gael places with one of the holes in his legs.

Diesel walked into town happily. He was out on a holiday of sorts and decided to come to 'Trotstram.'

He was with his large Newfoundland dog Kito, who was running around and sniffing wildly. He smelt cat and barked loudly.

"Sure..." The stallion said wearily, as he slowly trotted to take a seat. He raised his head and looked around. He had never stayed in a permanent home. He was always on the move, wanting to explore what was out there in the world he rested on. He took off his saddlebags, and threw them on the the table. The left one sank as the multiple items within clinked and clunked onto each other. The right one was a different story. It appeared that there was only one item within the right saddle bag, taking up most of the bag, which formed a unique shape.

The stallion lumped himself onto the couch, his head lowered.

Somneom and Jenzy were walking to the town.
Come Jenzy. It'll be fun! I just heard of this town a while ago. I thought it'd be neat to check it out.

Jenzy then said, Gee, wow Somny. Okay okay...

Jenzy and Somneom began to get closer to the entrance of the town.

Escy smiles as the pony takes a seat, onlly giving a moment to notice his bags as they hit the floor. "So, what's your name?" she asks, smiling curiously.

Gael keeps poking at Zappy, a smile coming across her face from seeing him laugh. She turns to Miracle and talks as best as she can. "Mommy shaysh I have a shpeech impe... impedimama... Yesh. Yesh I do talk funny."

Pride's ear pricks up for a moment, and his purring skips a beat. He smells a dog, but it doesn't bother him much since he's used to playing the diamond dog in town, Ruby. Still, it could be a problem~

Kito raced towards the scent of the 'cat'.  He found the house and started barking loudly around near the door.

Diesel chased after Kito. He didn't want the dog to cause any problems.

"You do have a name... don't you?" Escy asked, adding to Rad's question, a little concerned at the other ponies expression. He seems... lost, somehow.

"Hehe, you're adorable mishter holey pony!" Gael says excitedly, scooting closer to Zappy. She doesn't break eye contact as she answers Miracle. "I don't go to shchool anymore. There ishn't a shchool here in Trotshtram, but Mommy teachesh me."

Gael raises her hooves to assault Zappy with tickles again, but as she goes to strike, Pride quickly moves to the door, responding to some barking with a soft growl.

Zappy's not a pony, he's a changeling.
And I go to Celestia's School in Canterlot! :D

Zappy falls on his back once Pride moves.
He looks to the door.
Was that Static? I heard him, he's the pony with Kito!
Zappy gets up and hurries over to the door. He squeezes by Pride and opens the door just a crack and peeks out. He sees Kito.

Hmmm... I think this is where we should start in the town. This house. Somneom said, and knocked the door.

Jenzy stopped for a moment and fixed his saddlebag's position. He then walked up to Somneom. He saw Diesel.
Well well... Hi there Diesel. ^-^

Kito stopped barking as soon as he heard a response, instead he let out a confused whining sound and barked once, louder than before. He sees the door opening and shoves his face in the crack.

Diesel was sitting down now, rubbing his temples. He knew that he couldn't stop Kito once he started.
Ah no...
He said to himself quietly, with an accompanied face-hoof.

He turned to see Jenzy and Somneom

Well what ah pleasant surprise.
He stood up.

He lifted his hoof against his head. "That's...I just don't know. Alright?" He seemed annoyed, but enjoyed the fact that they actually cared about him. Not many ponies do care about a loner in the back.

Zappy can't hold the door against Kito and gets pushed in.

Jenzy stared at Kito of what he was doing, and looked at Diesel.
What a surprise indeed my friend. What brings you here?

I came here because... er, he wanted. Jenzy told him pointing at Somneom.

Somneom waved politely at Diesel.
I'm Somneom. Jenzy's  friend. I'm a scientist/alchemist. Nice to meet you. ^-^

Escy smiles a little awkwardly at the nameless pony, and then at Rad. "I did adopt her, yes. I've never been with another pony, even relationship wise. I've never met anypony right. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to answer the door." Escy walks over to the door, opening it the rest of the way, revealing a large dog and at least three other ponies outside. "Ah, hello."

Pride gives the dog a strange look and then leans forward to sniff him, neverminding the potential consequences.

Gael sits by Miracle, blinking and watching the door.

Zappy can't see past Kito. He stands between Kito and Pride, looking up at them.

Who's there? o.O

The stallion continued to rub his head, regretting to come here in the first place.

Kito barged inside the house, first tackling Zappy, covering him with licks and affection. He was now oblivious to the 'cat', and was instead focused on his old friend.

Diesel pretended at that moment he didn't own Kito.
Well, Static and Rider had to stay in Canterlot for a bit, so I thought I go on a holiday of sorts. Since I was sorta lonely.
Diesel also waved to Somneom
It's ah nice to meet ya. I'm Diesel Spark. Inventor, engineer, fixer....you get the idea.

Zappy giggles and laughs, trying to push Kito off him.

Somneom smiled as he turned to the door.
Well greetings., Somneom greeted with a smile.

Jenzy replied to Diesel,
A few years ago, he kinda had this, "accident" that allowed other ponies to use Power-ups.

Zappy continues to laugh as Kito licks him.

Kito finally got off Zappy and turned to Miracle, he sniffed her slightly, before licking her face.

Diesel turned to the door and smiled sheepishly.

"Well, I would invite you all in, but I'm not sure my house can hold anyone else. Maybe I should show you all to the tavern? I'm sure the barkeep would love to have more visitors, she's a tad lonely sometimes." Escy offers, Gael standing and moving over to join her, Kito passing her as she went.

Pride moves over to Kito, still intrigued by the dog. He's never met another animal his size. He shapes Kito up as a possible play partner.

(Can you all send me a picture reference of your characters and the names that go with them? I need to organize the characters in the roleplay or my head will explode. OCD, what can you do? Hope it's not too big of a bother!

Zappy remains laying on the floor, having a bit of cat and a lot of dog saliva on him.

Kito finally noticed pride, his ears pricked up, and his tail stood on end. He  stood still for a moment before jumping on Pride playfully.


Diesel nodded to Escy.

Escy nods at the pony named Diesel. She steps outside with them. She turns to look inside her home. "I'm leading these ponies to the tavern, would you guys like to join us?" She asks, making a motion for Gael to follow her. Gael does as she's told and give Miracle a hug before moving over to Zappy, doing the same to him, and moving over to her mother.

Thinking about it, they don't really have the option of staying, since it's her home and she wouldn't be there. It's still nice to offer, though!

Pride lies on his back with Kito on top of him and he continues to wrestle, not having anyone to play so roughly with in the past. He's already made a great new friend!

"And Zappy," Escy adds, "I'll talk to the barkeep about letting you use one of the rooms showers. They never have more than one or two rented out, and they have about ten."

Zappy walks outside the house, not noticing the other ponies yet.

Kito barked happily and ran outside, motioning for Pride to follow. He had been taught not to play inside, for the fear of breaking things.

Diesel turned and spied Zappy.
Well hay there little fella. Ah'm not sure if you'd remember me. But we met at ah flower field.

Zappy looks at Diesel and smiles.
Hi! Yeah I remember you!

Diesel grinned widely.
Well ah came here at the right time.  lol


Kito lay in the grass, his tail wagging rather fast.

No hugs, I'm covered in lots of spit. x3

Huh. That can't be... O:
Jenzy walked to Diesel and Zappy.

Hey... Ooh. Zappy? o.O

Zappy looks surprised to hear a much more familiar voice.
He turns around and looks at Jenzy.

Zappy looks really happy to see Jenzy.

Escy heads out, leading everypony to the tavern The Iron Shoe. There will be plenty of room for everypony to meet up and branch off, whatever they want to do in the large tavern. And since they're already within viewing distance of the tavern, it doesn't take very long to reach it at all.

Escy talks to the barkeep, explaining the situation with her friends, and about the previous events of the day. The barkeep thanks her for handling the situation with the wolves, and for bringing in a lot of potential business. She offers to let them all stay the night for free, since she's usually bored during the day and all of the cleanup would be a good way to pass her time. She lays out keys one through ten on the bar for the group to grab when they needed to.

Zappy now has his own bedroom upstairs at the tavern, so he can take his bath! (One of the two rooms that have baths as opposed to showers.)

There's an area behind the tavern that's perfect for the larger members of the group to play in, danger free!

He took a seat near the bar.

The stallion fell behind in the group upon entering the tavern. He stood adjacent to Escy, sighing. "I appreciate what your doing...I just can't do it though..."

Yeah. You should be more careful with that... X3

Hmmm... Well, I suppose.
Jenzy followed Zappy.

Well well, the town seems very nice so far... ^-^

In the bathroom Zappy turns on the water and fills the tub with hot water. Once it's at his desired height he gets in and immediately soaks himself.

Gael sits down one or two tables from her mother, Pride beside her, looking up at Gael with desperate eyes to go play with Kito. Gael pats his head, giving him permission, and Pride is off to play with his new friend.

Kito spies Pride and rushes at him, he batted him across the face with a paw playfully.

Diesel thought for a moment and went to get some cider. He looked like he was lost in thought.

Jenzy entered the bathroom and walked to the tub.
Heh... Was that from dog kisses?
Jenzy asked Zappy as he washed.

Somneom stood up, picking up his saddlebag and sat by Diesel.
Hi. Trying to figure out something to drink?

Maybe they have Sparkling Cider. Or, maybe water?

....dog kisses? He was licking me, not kissing me. Why would you think I'd kiss a dog?

Nah I'm just wondering how my roommate would be going, he was pretty beat up when I left.
Diesel settled on a cider and asked the bartender.

The stallion sigh, and heading towards the seat across from the mare, and sat in it, his head on the table. It was clear that something was wrong, maybe something worse.

"I don't really know, but since I'm a pony...Equestria, I guess?"

The barkeep moved over to Diesel on the other side of the bar, a solemn look on her face. "Hello, the name's Shakey Shider. My pops named me while he was drunk, hence the twist. I can tell you're ready to order, what can I get for ya?" she asked.

Pride pulls his paws up as well, embracing Kito before pushing him and tackling him to the ground, rolling to the side and getting back onto all fours.

Explicit gives the pony another weird look. "You don't know much of anything about yourself, do you?"

He sighed, having no response to her question. What felt like a long time, the stallion finally answered. "I...don't have a family..."

Diesel laughed.
Ah, the name's Diesel Spark, nice ta meet ya. I'll just have a cider please.

Kito barked happily and pounced on Pride. He flicked him in the face with his tail.

Oh. That's what they're called when dogs lick you. "Dog kisses." x3

Yeah. It's a little bit gross. Heh... I guess Kito was really happy to see you. lol Jenzy told Zappy.

Somneom looked at the barkeep.
Oh... My name's Somneom. Nice to meet ya Shakey. Regular Sparkling Apple Cider will work for me please.

Zappy finishes up with some soap and gets out of the tub.

You should dry off, and um, I think everypony's out to that bar. We should meet up with them.
Jenzy stood by the door and waited for Zappy.

Zappy dries off quickly and hops onto Jenzy's back.

Explicit looks down at the table for a moment. "You don't have any friends either?" she asks, remaining calm about the question, hoping it wouldn't hit anything too sensitive.

Pride presses his side against Kito's, falling over a moment later playfully, lifting his paws in preparation for another oncoming assault.

"I'll bring it right up, anythin' for you, Mister?" she asks, facing Somneom with her question, all the while reaching under the bar for a glass to put the cider into.

Jenzy trotted out of the house and into the bar.
Hey, feel free to do whatever you want. Stay out of trouble okay?

Somneom at his table replied,
Uh, I just told you. Apple Cider. Regular please. x3

"Nothing...I have nothing." The stallion sighed. "I don't even know what I do? What's the purpose of me?" He stared back to his flank, where there was supposed to be a Cutie Mark. There was nothing, just part of his coat.

((We were upstairs Jenzy, Zappy didn't get his own house! lol ))

Zappy hops off Jenzy's back and trots around looking at everypony. He looks at Kito and Pride and giggles, actually wanting to join them.

Diesel nodded his thanks to the Shakey Shider and sat down next to Somneom again.
So, how's ah life.
He said simply.

Kito looked at Pride and barked, but he didn't move. He looked around for a bit, rather thoughtfully.

Diesel nodded and drummed a hoof on the table.
Ah wish I could practice with mah magic more often. I never seem to get around to it nowadays.

Shakey Shider brings two apple ciders out to Somneom and Diesel, placing them on the table before them. "Anythin' else I can get you young stallions?" She said, with a naturally flirty bit at the word 'stallion'.

Pride sits by Kito and then wraps his paws around Zappy, as he's done with Gael and Escy several times before.

Explicit puts her hoof on noname's. "Well, me and Gael will be your friends, so don't say you have nothing." she says, a genuine look of concern in her eyes.

Kito rolled away from Zappy, and got up to sit on his haunches. He wagged his tail and barked happily.

Somneom gave her a smile.
That'll be just fine and dandy ma'am. Thanks very much.
Somneom then took a sip of his cider.

Zappy smiles at Kito.
He imitates the bark and giggles.

((I overthink things. Kito is pony sized and Pride is lion sized. Ponies are smaller than lions because whether or not ponies are human sized or smaller than humans that makes ponies smaller than lions either way. In other words Pride is enormous and should be in a zoo lol ))

"What purpose do I have staying here, out of billions of other places to stay at?" The stallion directly faced the pony with a slight sad tone painted on his face. His eyes began to look away, sadden. "People said that I'm useless...pointless." His eyes looked back at where his cutie mark was supposed to be. "I'm beginning to think its true..."

Kito tilted his head and made a confused whine at Zappys mimick.

Pride lies down beside Kito and Zappy.

(Well, he's just a big, dinosaur level softy.  He had a few problems when he was little, because his wings were strong enough to carry him. Now they're more like an accessory. And leocorns can't use the magic in their horns, so it all stores up, granting them something of a temporary immortality. That's why Escy is so determined to keep Pride around. She's thirty-two, and Gael is only a year old. Pride will be around much longer than she will. Gael needs a guardian for when she's gone. Related picture in the spoiler.)

The stallion backed away from the mare. Such an odd talent, indeed, but he has heard of worse, much worse. He considered what the mare had just said...It was all true, he couldn't fight back. He grabbed a better grip of his key, and stood up. He glance at the mare who realized his purpose here.

Escy lets out a small yawn, walking over to the bar. She puts a hoof on the third room key, and then shakes her head for a moment. "Silly me, I LIVE in this town. I don't need to stay at the tavern. Just another sign that I should be in bed already. She walks over to Gael, who gladly crawls onto her back. The two ponies give everyone else a farewell before leaving to their home. They leave Pride behind for Kito and Zappy to play with. It's alright, though, because Escy bought Gael a replica Leocorn plush!

That's really nice. Wonder why he was all alone by himself in the forest...
Somneom replied back, finishing the last of his cider.

Jenzy waved his hoof a little at Kito.

He then turned to Explicit and Noname.

So what's happening now, um, forgive me. I'm kind of bad with names.
Did you say what your name was earlier? He asks Explicit.

He looked at the key he held. Number nine. He had always enjoyed that number, it was his favourite after all. Not only was it his favourite, it brought good luck to him. No-one knows why, but it did anyways.

"I'll be in my room if you need me." He sighed towards Escy before heading upstairs. He followed the hallway until reaching the door which number matched his key. Nine.

Inserting the key inside the slot, he twisted it with a slight jerk, and the sound of the metal unlocking echoed through the door. He twisted the doorknob and entered inside. The room wasn't the greatest, or the worst...which was the perfect room for him. He gazed out the window from inside, as he saw the stars begin to appear, twinkling in from the darkness within.

The saddle bags stayed were they were previously left...on the table where Escy lived. Its purple appearance made it easily missable  to see.

Neither of us knows. We think maybe his mother died fighting of timberwolves or something like that.
Diesel waved goodbye to Explicit and shrugged.

Zappy moves closer to Kito and hugs him.

Jenzy sat beside Zappy and Kito. He looks at Zappy and asks,

You know what happens when you get very hungry right? Jenzy asked. He told Zappy,

I sometimes always bring at least 2 flasks of Love with me. Glad I did. Just ask if you want one.

Explicit arrives at the tavern early the next morning, as she usually does, and she finds her seat in the northwestern corner. She pulls out her book and quill and begins writing. Lately, she's had a lot more to write about. More friends, events, dangers and excitement to write about. Shortly after arriving, she notices her friend Ruby coming into the tavern. She sits down at the table, opposite of Explicit.

"We need your help, yes." Ruby says to her. Her expression looks distraught, so it must be something important.

"What's the matter, Ruby? You look worried." Explicit responded, putting down her book and quill to listen.

Ruby tugs at the plain shirt around her neck, ruffling her sleeveless vest a little. "Our necklace, it is gone!" she responded. Escy had never noticed she wore one. She was a jeweler after all, she could have just been wearing some of her product.

Escy put her hoof to her chin. "Do you know what might have happened to it, Ruby?" she asks, wanting to calm her friend down. The diamond dog then made a howling motion before continuing.

"We lost it in the forests, that way," she tells Escy, pointing in the direction of west, "we were delivering an order, yes. Wolves howl, we become scared, we hide in the forest. We lose the necklace there, yes!" Explicit closes her eyes for a moment, trying to hold back a tinge of laughter. She ran into the forest to escape the wolves? she thought to herself.

"Where were you taking the delivery?" Escy asks, one final question.

"We were taking it to the camp, yes. Across the river they says." Ruby seems to be shaking a little. "We finished our delivery, but we lost our necklace. Help us?"

Explicit puts a hoof on Ruby's paw, nodding at her. "We'll find it, Ruby. Don't you worry." and with that, the two of them exchange farewells. Explicit takes out her book and flips to the back page, making a new little subsection titled 'quest log'. Time to rally up some adventurers!

Zappy trots down the steps of the tavern to the bottom floor. He spots Explicit with some other creature he can't identify (I know it's a diamond dog) and trots over to them.

"I'm sorry about Ruby. She doesn't like meeting people all at one time. She has a hard time handling it all. My name is Explicit Escritoire. After a while I just started to assume everypony knew each other. Silly me!" Escy said, blushing a little from her embarasment (sp?). She then looked at Zappy with a smile.

"He doesn't have a name. I was thinking about giving him a nickname for us to call him. What do you think, Zappy?"

Explicit scoots a bit closer to Rad. It must be the mustache. She puts her book on the table, opening it to a page that has a mini map of Trotstram. She points to the wood southwest of town, on the town's side of the river. "This is where she says she lost it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was gone by now, actually. The southern forest isn't pack territory, so all sorts of creatures live there. I think we should start our search there and scout to the right. Ruby told me her necklace should glow, and it won't be to hard to notice." she says, tapping the map again and following her hoof around to the right, following the forest line.

"And we can start immediately."

*Rad noticed how close she was getting, but didn't want to spoil it by mentioning it* Well then what are we waiting for? Let's go find it!

I'll come too! I want to be there if something bad happens!

"Alright, then! It's a plan!" Escy says, getting up from the table and moving over to the door of the tavern. She taps her hoof on the floor three times and Pride instinctively leaves the outside area, coming to her.

"Pride, go back home and take care of Gael, okay? I'll be back home later. Promises." She said softly to the leocorn, who then nuzzled his head against her before doing as he's told. Explicit begins to head down the western path out of town, ready for a new day and a new adventure with her new friends.

Zappy runs to catch up with Explicit.
Wait up!

*Rad heads out, following Explicit*

Explicit stops on the edge of the forest. She trots up to a tree and presses her hoof against it. The bark crumbles under her hoof and falls to the ground. She turns to look at Rad and Zappy. "I think the trees are dying." she says with a look of concern, and utter confusion. She brushes her hoof on the ground and steps beside the tree.

There's a small, reddish glow on the ground that trails off, and where it goes, the trees nearby seem to be darkening, weakening.

"This seems a lot more serious than a lost necklace."

What the? How'd the trees get like this? o.O

That's awful...the trees shouldn't be like that.

"They must be losing their life force then..." He questioned himself and the others when trotting towards the group. He went to another tree, and slowly pressed on it. The bark formed around his hoof, breaking away from the tree. He let go, and the pieces of bark tumbled down into the cold dirt below. He looked towards the tree, the bark itself peeling off.

Explicit turns back to notice the unnamed pony following the three of them. She waves, with a sigh of relief. "Good, we'll need more help than I thought figuring this thing out. Have you ever seen anything like this?" she asks, directing her question at nameless. She looks back at the trees as she awaits an answer.

"There was an event that caused..." He paused, realizing something "Oh...It appears I've forgotten my saddlebag. I'll be back." He said before leaving the group.

Event? o.O What kind of event could he mean?

A clinking can be heard from within the forest. It sounds like glass tapping together.

Explicit moves back with the group, ready to make a tapping call for Pride in the hopes he might hear it. She honestly didn't think he would at this distance, though. "Soldiers wouldn't hurt us, though. Right?" she gives herself a few more moments of hearing that clinking, getting closer and louder. "Right..?"

Escy stands beside Rad, protecting Zappy.

As the voice becomes more clear, she has a thought that it doesn't sound malicious, but she still keeps up her guard.

We're doing nothing illegal, so why would they?
Stay here, I'll go find out what it is. *he trots off to find the source*

Zappy huddles against Explicit, scared.
Be careful Rad.

As Rad moves closer to the source, he sees a red Unicorn through the trees. What looks like a table with various beakers and tubes sitting on it can be seen as well. The red Unicorn is testing different pieces of tree bark, leaves, and even dirt in the beakers, each filled with a clear liquid that changes colors as each object is exposed to it. He is writing down the results in a notebook, and moves around every so often to collect more items. He hasn't heard nor seen Rad yet.

Hmmmm, what is causing this decay? He asks himself as he continues his experiments.

Escy looks down to Zappy and pats his head. She gives him a stern, serious look. "You want to go in after him? He did the same for us."

*He sees the unicorn working and decides to speak up* Hey. Excuse me.

As the Unicorn hears Rad call out, the table, beakers an all, vanish. Turning, the Unicorn is now armored, and a quarter staff floats in the air next to him.

Who goes there!? He exclaims in challenge, bringing up the quarter staff defensively. In the armor, he almost looks like one of Luna's Royal Guards.

Rad Thunder. Par- never mind. Me and my friends are looking for a ruby necklace. Have you seen one?

He looks around at the forest. A ruby necklace... Hmm... No, I haven't seen one... Do you and your friends believe it is the cause of this rot? He asks, using a hoof to indicate the dying trees and foliage around them.

"Wait, listen." Escy says to Zappy as she listens carefully. Now she can hear two voices, Rad's and another. "I think he found whatever it is that's in there." she steps closer to the forest, listening carefully.

Zappy steps closer, staying close to Explicit.
Does it sound safe?

"Safe is such a strong word for a situation like this." she says with a very light smile. "But they don't seem to be fighting, and Rad doesn't sound like he's in danger. I think it'll be okay, Zappy."

Okay. So we...go then?

"Yes, we should go in."

Lucid reappeared out of the small crowd, shield in front of him, being lifted by magic.

Interesting... Perhaps it does, perhaps it doesn't... I wasn't getting anywhere with my tests, since the rot isn't natural. Maybe we can find out, together? He says the last bit as a question. The armor and quarter staff disappeared and were replaced with a saddlebag, the clip in the form of a blue orb surrounded by three golden horseshoes.

As Explicit begins to enter the forest, she sees Rad returning from within, a pony companion behind him. She steps back awkwardly, nudging Zappy. "Told you he was okay..." she says. She then looks at the other pony. "Hello, who is this, Rad?"

Zappy peeks out from next to Explicit.

Zappy gives a short changeling style bow, which is where he bows with his wings lightly buzzing. Not too different.

How big is it? What is it? Is it friend or foe?
None of these questions can be answered since it is moving too quick from spot to spot.
But whatever it is, it seems to pay attention to the ponies.

Explicit gives Zappy a strange look. "I thought that, too." she says before turning her attention to the alchemist.

"There's a flower shop in town, and the pony that works there runs an herb section near the back. I can take you there if you want, to help your friend out. Will you help us with this problem if I do?" she asks. While waiting for her answer, she feels something watching her, but she shrugs it off as the forest's new, decaying aura.

One of the bushes nearby is kinda strange. Each time the ponies look away, it seems to change it's location.
It moves over to some dead trees while gaining distance.

Farsight pulls out a notebook and jots something down before putting it back in his saddlebag. Of course. Hopefully they have some of the herbs he requires.

Explicit walks over to the bush in question. She gives it a strange look, curious. She turns to the group and sighs. "I know me saying this must be getting old by now, but am I the only one seeing this?" she asks, starting to doubt her sanity with all that has happened recently.

You mean a living bush out here amongst forests that are dead?

He shakes his head, You're not the only one seeing that. I just thought it was natural for this place... I've seen many things that I thought unnatural in my travels that were completely normal in the place.

It doesn't move anymore.
(Crud! How did i miss that? I knew i should have taken another route.
Okay calm down, calm down. I have to think of something.)

If it's alive shouldn't we take a sample and find out why it's not dying like everything else?

That's probably a good idea. Farsight replies, moving toward the bush and pulling out a specimen container and shears from his saddlebag.

*Rad waits by expecting something...*

The bush starts to roll away. Which is odd since there is no wind or any other reason for it.
It rolls back to the town with the speed of a running pony.

He pulls up short, the items still levitating on the air. He blinks a couple times in surprise. What... Just happened??

What in Luna's name? o.O

Explicit thinks about what Seriack said. Things in this place are normal, where in other places they're strange. She shakes her head once more, banishing the thought from her mind.

More like a nightmare. . .

She looks up just in time to see the bush running towards town. Her eyes widen in shock. She doesn't know what else to do, so she just shouts at it. "Hey! Mister bush! Wait, we don't want to hurt you!"

She then looks back at Seriack's shears. 

"Oh, for the love of- Follow that bush!"

*Rad takes off and chases it*

The bush rolls around a corner. There is some noise. It probably crashed into one or two trash cans.

D-do you want me to chase it? Exply?

Farsight shoves the still levitating shears and jar into his saddlebag. His horn continues to glow and he vanishes, reappearing close to the turn. He turns the corner, not knowing what to expect.

Escy tosses Zappy onto her back before rushing off with Rad after the moving bush, thankful that it crash landed from what she can hear. It ran clear past her house, directly to the flower shop beyond. Convenient.

"You get to ride this one out, Zappy!" she says as she comes up to the flower shop, having to put her hooves down to stop herself from the speed her adrenaline was pushing her to.

*Rad turned the corner and dived at whatever it was*

Zappy hangs on tight to Explicit's back.

Around the corner is the bush. But more importantly, there is also a passed out pony.
It's a earth pony and wears a pitch black full body suit.

"Heh...Guys? You there...?" The stallion continued his trek through the forest, looking almost dead-like. He was beaten tired, his legs barely supported him. Still, he walked around the endless path of trees.

*Rad stopped and stood up* He's out cold.

Farsight levitates the unconscious pony off the ground. Now... Who do we have here? He asks as Explicit and Zappy round the corner.

Explicit gives a split second to reflect on Zappy's words before continuing around the corner, slower and more carefully, considering she has the little one with her. "Of course, Zappy. For all we know, it could be a vampire monster bush."

"Who is that?" Escy asked as she gazes upon the passed out pony, covered in black. Her mind goes from curiosity to concern rather quickly. "We should get them somewhere that she can rest. My home isn't far, lets take them there."

(I uploaded a NEW map! This one is larger than before, and accounts for the growth to the town. I have locations numbered, and it's more organized all around. There are several places that haven't been fully developed yet, and I'll do that as the roleplay continues. I also listed all characters in the roleplay right now, and where they currently are, in case anybody else loves organization as much as I do!)

The pony is knocked out cold and does do anything beside breathing. The bush (at a closer look) is not real. It's made with glue, thread and lots of small green paper leafs.

Yes, it is just a pony... And I agree with Explicit. We should get him somewhere to recover. I think I have a potion or something I can brew up to bring him to.

"And you, too, Farsight. You need to meet her as well. She's bound to have what you need for your potion." she says, pointing in the direction she's heading. "Don't worry about my girl, she's likely asleep with Pride upstairs right now."

Right. I'll take him to your house then. *he saddles the unconscious pony on his back and starts off for the house*

Farsight levitates the unconscious pony over to Rad and follows after Explicit.

He couldn't take it.

After one step with his right-front hoof, his adjacent failed to move at all, and he tripped. His saddlebags flew off like their we're tossed, and landed a few feet before the fallen stallion.

He moaned with the final conscious breath he had...sighing. No-one had came to him, nobody cared. They hated him, everyone hated him...

"...W-why?"

"Oh, and Rad!" She shouts as he starts to move towards her home. "Check on nameless!"

Explicit walks around the house, knocking on the door to the flower shop. "Hello, anypony home?"

Escy has her mind distracted by Zappy. The way he gets her name wrong so often sends her into tiny fits of adorableness. If it were anybody else, she'd have corrected them by now.

Right. *He heads to the house*

Hello? Miss flower lady? Zappy calls out.
Maybe she's busy.
Zappy tries to peek inside the flower store.

Smiles was in the back of the shop, watering her the plants.
She shouts,
Yes, come on in!
She continues to water the rest of the plants

The mask covers his face, so nopony sees it, but the pony is awake.
He observes the situation without moving.

Explicit steps inside, walking over to the pony in the back. "Smiles! How are you? It's been a while since I've seen you." she says, something tugging at the back of her mind, telling her she's never met her at all. "This is my friend Zappy, he's a changeling. I was wondering if you had any dead plants he could eat?" She says as she lets Zappy down, letting him stay close to her still.

(Alright, everyone, I'm going to have to go eat supper and watch a movie with my family. I probably won't be back on for about three hours. You guys can continue without me, I give Rad permission to move my character. Just don't make her do anything I wouldn't! Which, honestly, isn't much. Also, random news, and I'm not really sure what qualifies you for this, but this thread now has a star beside it, like 99% of the other threads! That makes me feel special.)

That would be great, my great uncle wrote something about
decaing plants. And no forest means no herbsm which would

I do, I take great pride in every last plant in this shop.
And its never too early to start working, who knows?
Maybe someday Zappy will open his own shop and

That would be cool! Ponies would more openly accept me as an Equestrian! :3

Explicit stretches a bit, lifting her head off of the small table in the back of the shop. The morning had become so stressful that she had to take a quick nap. It wasn't bad, though. She had a dream about-

Escy thinks for a moment with her hoof on her chin. What did I dream about?

She walks out of the back and notices several things. Firstly, Zappy has money and Jenzy is out and about. Secondly, Somneom and Farsight have met and are chatting. Thirdly, Rad isn't here. Where is that stallion?!?

Ooh, right. I sent him to my house with the strange, unconscious pony. She blinks a few times and then waves, calling out to everyone. "Hello everypony, I'm back in the world of the living!" Kinda.

Herbs, Flowers, plants; normal stuff in a shop like this, unless
you just came to visite and don't plan on buying anything
Smiles writes down the total number of ferns, she starts counting the herbs

Escy stretches once more and smiles. "I'm doing fine. I think I'm going to go check on Rad and the stranger. I think we should all meet up somewhere to discuss our approach to this problem. What do you all think?" she asks, alright with any plan as long as it gets something done.

Explicit opens the door, then turns. "Just hop out whenever you're done, I'll lock the shop up on my way to the tavern." she says, leaving the shop and heading to her home to meet up with Rad.

"Heh. I can see the whole town from the top of this tree..." And he could, too. The town wasn't spacious as Ponyville or Fillydelphia, but it did have a lot of action going on. He glanced at his enviroment, his tongue licking his lips in an odd and unusual way. His face was glimmered with an cherisher look, maybe stranger as well.

With one leap, he jumped back onto the ground, dirt spraying around him from the impact. He trotted towards the town.

((Then it's about time for me to go as well. We'll continue this tomorrow :]))

After perusing a few of the books, he puts the most relevant in his saddlebag and leaves the shop, heading for the tavern.

Explicit arrives in front of her home to see the once unconscious stranger is now alright. She breathes a sigh of relief. She notices Rad nearby and smiles.

"Rad, we're going to be meeting up at the tavern so we can discuss the problem in the forest." She says.

"And where's nameless?" she asks.

"Alright, this forest decay has to be stopped. We basically know nothing about it, but thankfully we have some friends here who will understand what's going on better than I will. " she points out, looking up at Smiles and Seriack's OC. (I'll remember it one day.) "We also know that Nameless and the mysterious pony from earlier are missing. The latter I'm not worried about, as he looks capable. However, I'm very concerned for Nameless's safety. I can only think he left from my home to find us in the forest, but we weren't there. I feel like he's lost, strangely in more ways than one."

"We need to know what Farsight has learned from the books, and anything that Smiles can tell us. If anybody else knows anything, please speak up." she says with a nod, opening the floor to anypony who thinks they can help.

"She gone." Shudsy says plainly. "She's just gone. It's like her house isn't even her house anymore. Her gems, everything, they're all gone. It's like she vanished." she doesn't say anything else, she just walks over to the bar. She seems empty somehow. Explicit shakes her head.

"Well that certainly puts a damper on things. With her gone, we lose one of our greatest leads. But we can't stop, we have to solve the mystery." she says, obvious doubt in her voice.

How could anyone just up and leave like that?

Explicit puts her hoof to her forehead in frustration. She turns to Farsight. "Yes, there's a red glowing trail that resembles the glow on Ruby's necklace. It's what we - Rad, Zappy and I - decided might be the cause of the decay. So the books are useless, then?" she asks, turning to Incognito and giving him a smile and a nod, letting him know he's been recognized.

And then she sees two more ponies come into the tavern. She redirects her gaze for a moment, but returns it to Farsight.

Shudsy walks up to the two new ponies, wiping a glass mug dry with a towl as she sits at one of the tables. "Can I do anythin' for you two?" she asks, noticing they seem to be family, possibly twins.

Like I said, they deal with natural decay, diseases or insects that can cause it... And from my own studies I can tell you this is anything but natural. Had I been able to magically test it... But that doesn't matter. This "Ruby" vanished at about the same time the necklace did, seems connected somehow to me. He said, pondering, his chin in hoof.

So...we just follow the glow to the source?

He nods, and begins to shuffle about in his saddlebag, a few items floating out and disappearing.

"Good. I'm bringing Zappy as well, if he wants to come. I think his lightning magic will be helpful, so long as we keep him calm." she says, noticing the disappearing items but thinking nothing of it. She smiles at Rad when he answers, and then turns to the new arrival.

"We're getting ready to go on a quest in the southern forest. The forest is dying, and we want to find out why." she says.

As of the mention of his name Zappy enters the tavern with a new bit bag, it's quite ordinary and sits comfy in the space between his wings.

"So much beauty when I first came here," He exclaimed to himself. "This town isn't just a normal town...It's so majestic!" He chuckled afterwards. Light shed onto his eyes when exiting the foresting, nearly blinding him. It has been...sometime before he had seen light before. It was weird, it felt like his skin was burning. He managed to shrug off most of the pain and continued on into the town.

mind if I come with you  Ice asks the group

We're not gonna solve it sitting here! Let's get out there and find that ruby!

Yeah... right...
Incognito gets up and prepares to leave with the group.

"Right! That's the spirit, Rad." she says as she gets up herself, looking to see what members are in her group. She looks at the newcomer and smiles. "It might be best if you stayed in town and got to know the place a little better. I'm sure Barkeep will do whatever she can to keep your comfortable." And with that, she heads to the door, seeing Zappy there.

"Oh, Zappy, are you ready to head off on an adventure?" she asks, patting the little changeling on the head, admiring his new bit bag for a moment and giving him a smile about it.

(So it's me, Rad, Zappy, Farsight, Incognito. That's a pretty well balanced group, I think. I'll write it down in the first post.)

Adventure? Sure! I don't really go on adventures, but I can protect myself. ^-^

Flame! Ice! Hi!

Explicit taps her hoof on the floor three times, signaling for Pride to come. She nods at Shudsy, letting her know she's leaving and to keep an eye on Gael. She steps out of the tavern, heading to their previous location by the forest. She takes a deep breath as they arrive, stepping through the 'gates' of the forest.

(I'm going to bring out my oldschool DM'ing skills for this, try to lead it like I used to do my old pen and pad games. I'm going to make a map of the forest, and I'll update the front page with what I've made regularly. Only updating what we've discovered so far of it. Also working on a remodel of the Tavern, and an extended map of Trotstram, showing the forest as it leads north and south.)

(Also, I totally just cut off Zappy and Flame's conversation, lol, sorry about that. You guys can continue it for a post or two, or just assume you had it. I don't mind either way.)

*Rad follows close by, turning his head to eye anything and everything*

Once Farsight had finished emptying his saddlebag of "non-essential" items, he donned it once more and moved to follow Explicit. He had a feeling he'd need his armor, but he could get that when the journey roughened up a bit. For now he had all he needed to magically test what was going on, including a few items to help track the lost necklace if the trail went cold. All in all, he felt prepared as they stepped into the forest.

((Sorry for the late response, had to practice my Anti-Mage skills a bit.))

As soon as the stallion saw the ponies enter the forest, he dashed out of his hiding, a small dirt hole. He chuckled. "Less of 'em, that means that there's less of 'em." He chuckled after his remark. He knew that he would be returning to the forest to have some 'Fun' with the ponies within, but first, the town. With an attack like this, he should be able to draw some attention.

Entering the town's square, his feet dripping into the dirt at a accelerating speed, the stallion headed for the abandoned home for some 'Practice'...

Flame and Ice sit at a table well Ice it appears we have sometime until they get back Ice nods so anything else to do until they return

Incognito walks with some distance, in front of the group.
Since he is blind, he tries to hear anything unusual, while paying attention to vibrations on the ground.

There is no need to worry. Sure, i can't see anything but i can still move around freely, and do some things you can't.

Right now you are walking on the ground, and as you do so you create small vibrations and a little noise.
I can hear where this noise comes from. And i use these vibrations like a bat would use soundwaves.
I feel where you, i, and all the small and big objects are.

True i don't see anything, but instead i feel and hear it.
As he says this he walks over some small obstacles like rocks and roots without tripping.

As Farsight is following along, he is looking over the trees, collecting various samples for study later. He also uses one of his specialized tools to collect a bit of the trail they are following.

After hearing about the decay, Smiles
decided ahead of time to go and see how far it has reach the forest. And if any of the herbs and
plants she normaly collects has decaied too. The group isn't too far from where Smiles is
currently at.

Arriving at the abandoned house, he chuckled. Who would want to live in a dump like this? No-one would, so he decided to encourage the house to crumble and fall, as it took up useful space.

He took something out of his saddleback. It was made of metal, but no more could be explained, as an explosion echoed throughout the town and stopping at the forest by the large trees blocking most of the sound wave.

The twins hear the explosion Ice stands up I take it you want to investigate that Ice Flame asks of course I mean it is our duty as the Equestria/Evillious Militia Flame nods and stands up the two head out Flame uses ARI to find the source of it

Explicit leads the group to a strange opening. The ground is torn and tumbled, as if there were trees in it, but they simply uprooted and walked away. The light of the necklace begins to fade here, the magical glow obviously weakening. She stands, looking ahead and analyzing the ground. It seems much softer than it should be. She turns to Farsight, realizing that he and Incognito had both noticed the strange occurance(sp?) as well. The trees here looked dead, and yet... Alive.

"I've got a bad, bad feeling about this." she says, taking another step forward, her front hoof tangling in some vines. Dead vines, that should have shattered at the slightest effort to break free, but instead they hoist her up, dangling her behind the group. "Ah!!"

Zappy falls off her back before she's lifted up, and he manages to land with nothing more than a thud from hitting the ground.

What the-? Explicit! *He flies up and grabs onto her and tries to pull her from the vine's grip*

The sound of something spinning can be heard. In the next moment, a yoyo flies to the vines.
It hits it with a lot of force. Maybe even enough force to turn a small part of it into a mass of green slush.

"So you've came...Ha...At least you cared." The voice seemed to come from everywhere, everyplace, nowhere. "I've got a game for you...wanna play some Taaaaag?" The voice seemed childish, even though it was recognizable as a Stallion's voice.

The vine shatters, as it should have earlier, from the force impact of the yoyo. Explicit falls free, nearly landing on Zappy, but instead landing in the arms of a strong pegasus. She blushes hard, smiling at him as he lets her down. Before she has a chance to thank you, she notices the ground moving. Something seems to be moving beneath the earth. Her eyes grow wide with shock.

"They didn't uproot themselves, they dug through the ground!" she shouts, hoping that nopony gets caught in the next assaulting wave of vines.

(And you're fine, Smiles! We'll meet up with you soonish, but I'm not swapping you to G1 yet!)

*As Rad sets her down, he looks at the ground* That can't be possible! o.O

"Sooooo...yes then? Goodies! You'll be it. Catch meee..." The sound of the front door closed behind them.

B-b-but what do we do to defend ourselves?! We can't fight the ground! ono

Incognito feels something is moving under them. it is ether big or many small things.
Everypony quick! Get to higher ground!
He draws his yoyo back and aims at a tall tree. It wraps itself around a strong branch and incognito pulls himself to it.
As he climbs on it he prepares his yoyo to be ready for another strike.

Explicit faces Zappy. "Lets go!"

She looks around a bit, realizing she doesn't actually have any way to get to higher ground. Her magic is pitiful at best, she has no wings (not to mention her developed fear of heights, which means she can't be high up for long anyways). She looks to the ground and is about to give up hope when Pride presses against her. She looks down at him and nods. She hops onto his back, and he gets ready to pounce, jumping to a branch on a tree, snapping it off and barely making it to another, more stable branch. Escy looks down and her head gets a little woozy.

"Cog, can you feel them moving?" she asks, her eyes closed, clinging both to the tree and Pride.

Zappy buzzes his wings and flies up and over to Pride and Explicit. He lands on Pride behind Explicit and looks down.
What do we do?

"Ugh...You aren't chasinnng me? Fine! I'll be it." It would be just a second after that a yellow flash of light barely passed the two ponies, hitting against the wall which produced a small explosion and a small crater.

"Ready or not. Here I commme!" 

Yeah. I can't tell how many or where they move to, but i definitely feel them.
If we are lucky i can warn you just before something comes out. Keep a eye on the ground and get ready to dodge.
He takes his yoyo and starts to spin it around like a morning star. It takes a little time but it accelerates and looks like a ring now, while creating a high pitched noise from the spinning.

*Rad gets ready to move when need be*

Ice looks at the crater your insane!!!! Flame chuckles what point is this are your trying to kill us what point is there to that

Explicit clings to Pride, unable to focus hard enough to really prepare for anything. Suddenly the rumbling feeling below stops. She opens her eyes for only just a moment, thinking maybe they'd gone elsewhere. She isn't quite so lucky, however.

The ground sinks, as if pouring into a giant chasm. A giant, earthen hand bursts from the center of the opening, clinging to a tree and using it to hoist the rest of its body up. It slowly emerges from the ground, which sinks below like quicksand. A deep, earthy, grumbling voice speaks, in very clear and very understandable words.

"Come... Break yourselves... Upon my body..." it says, slowly, as it rests upon the ground. An earth golem, with a magical blackness swirling in its eyes and a ruby red glow permeating from several stones stuck into its arms and chest. Vines hang from its arms, and wrap around its legs and torso. On its shoulder is a plant. Farsight had managed to teleport to a tree as well, and watched as it all unfolded. As the gol rose from the ground, he knew his quarter staff would be worthless... So it was time to bring out something a little heavier. His armor magicked onto him, as well as well as a mace floating near by. In all his travels, he had not faced a golem before. A faint blue aura also surrounds him.

Stay close, that you may be bolstered by the strength of Dreams. He shouts to his companions.

"I'm with all of you. I don't think we can fight this!" Escy screams, patting Pride on his side. Pride takes off from the tree branch, landing on the golem's shoulder and jumping off of it to solid ground. When his paw lands on the golem's shoulder, it scratches one of the red, glowing stones, and the stone loses its glow and shatters. The golem groans in a low tone, vibrating through the forest.

Explicit looks back and suddenly has an idea now that she isn't confined to heights. "Attack the stones!" she yells to the rest of the group.

"Aw...you came prepared." The being stopped shooting, and put whatever he had away. The being was a Stallion, a pony. Normally, ponies wouldn't cause so much dispute and violence in their blood, it made the ponies special. Something wasn't right about this one...

"Now...We begin anew." His childish voice turned into a more serious tone, as if he was preparing for battle.

Ice stands across from the pony she smiles

"Well, you want to attack me? Then do, if it pleases you so."

I think our roleplay is basically at a stand still right now. I think it'd be best if we stopped here and picked up on it in the morning.  Since we all seem to be on different time schedules, getting together all at a single time is very difficult, borderline impossible with our day to day activities. This is part of why I wanted to cut off the roleplay member list, because a lot of people would feel left out at certain points - or most points in Jenzy's case .w.; )

(I need to do some work to the groups, also. Jenzy wants to be in group one with Zappy, and I'm determined to make it happen somehow. Smiles is going to be in group one at some point, but I'm not even sure what's happening with that right now. I want to say I'm going to keep things the way they are now, but I have an issue with making everybody happy. I know that can't be done, however.)

(Jenzy is on group one, and will just have to make her actions while she's here. Otherwise I'm going to assume she's out of harms way. They did it to the berserker in The Gamers, so why not.  I also want Somebeing to enjoy himself a little more. I think he's getting a little bored having only one person to play with. I think I'm going to have him swap over to terrorizing group one a lot sooner than planned. All in all, I have a busy night of planning and changing stuff. Hopefully I'll have it figured out in the morning!)
