Half a year ago, a team of fighters, researchers, explorers and medics were send to a far away, recently discovered desert.
Along with new allies they came back with informations and Treasures.
Rumors about this informations and treasures spread in equestria.

In bars, on blackboards, and even the newspaper, a job offer is written.
Are you a fighter, researcher, explorer or medic?
Then join a mission for the safety of equestria.
The pay is fair and the mission exciting.
If you are interested come to the Hotel "Hay and stay" in ponyville at [Insert RP time here].

Rules:

No cussing, unless it is with equestrian terms and not used too often.
Only mild violence allowed. This means that you can get wounded but these wounds can not be live threatening or involve blood.
Max 2 OC's per user.
To confirm that you read the rules write just one word of your sign up post Italicized.
If your OC is too powerfull i will inform you. I don't wand any over powered OC's here. At one point their abilities can be used without limitation but until then you will have to hold back.
Your OC has to pick one job class. You can give him a secondary job class. Example: Fighter, Healer. The first class is main.

Each class has a special additional ability:
Fighters: Fight of enemies and protect allies. Only fighters can defeat enemies.
Researchers: Analyze hidden information/items and get PM's them.
Healers: Support the fighters and use found items to create potions, poisons and more.
Explorers: unlock new areas for the team.

Why does it really matter that much anyways? It just makes people mad and it seems like people should only be declined if they have a character that's not wanted.

Though, I feel compelled to more narrative RPing @.@ Might have several posts pass by before I even get to do mine.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about the RP... I won't lie, I was thinking it would be nice, but I'm actually quite annoyed by how little everyone makes their posts without trying to give much description; the generic 1 lined posts that I would say curse the RP forums @.@

Sorry, I know I'm a bit nit picky by pointing this small issue out, but It feels people hardly have to make an effort in RPing these days just to pass by.

I would love to say "It will get better" but i can't guarantee that.
All i can say is that i will do my best to make the plot interesting.

As much as I love big posts, I just care if the entirety of RPs are fun.

I'll try my best not to one line. I don't want a member to leave just because of one thing.

XD I do too, but for some reason I can't enjoy myself when I spot too many 1-liners all cluster together.

I try to make more than 1 liner posts but with so many others doing 1 liners sometimes it's hard to do that. Plus you need to think of more to put into your posts when you go for even 2 liner posts.

I like to make big posts... But I'm quite lazy. I'm also going to be roleplaying from a phone for three days so forgive me please.

How about a timeskip. We can ether skip to the night or the next day.

To save some time in the rp how about we make the groups here?

Usually they should be made of 3 ponies. Whenever you have a leader or are a equal group is up to you.
During that story that number can change but for now stick to 3.

Nova is out of that since he will stay at the base most of the time.

Nova, We have an Idea about a sort of Goblin... This may be considered an OC, but can you please consider it a pet thing where the thing doesn't need a sign up. Keep that in mind as we tell you what his goblin does.
The Wrench Goblin ((c) 2012) is the opposite of a Gremlin. As this goblin fixes anything he touches, howeever they are still chaotic and playfully annoying. This Goblin is shorter that Vick, has a monkey like stance and has a voice like an angry grandma.

Sorry but i don't like the idea.

Slightly, all I understand now is that we're in a catacomb from either a sandstorm that's mild or a killer one month one. I'd like to know what happened when we arrived.

Okay.
When we arrived Nova leaded the group to a cave. This cave is a base (layout on the first post).
The groups tryed to explore the desert, some did find something. But then a sandstorm came and forced the ponies to take cover.
The base is protected by a storm barrier.
Now that i am here again the sandstorm is about to vanish again. It will come back each day.
Reason for this? You can't explore the desert when i am not online, and in the area that is access able not everything has been found yet. The barrier will become larger each time you find everything in a specific area.

I know exactly what you feel right now. Last new Years Eve i was invited to celebrate it with my friends and their friends.
It was horrible. Not only that most of them were drunk, i also had to stay awake with them.

This year i will try to spend it alone. While it may sound sad at first i think it will be great. No drunk idiots around me, no annoying music, go to sleep when i want to. This is actually sounding like a very nice new year.

By the by, I saw a map for the desert in the RP one time. Let's say Jenzy has a Replica as he's been illustrating the map (And it's also in color. Didn't bring just a Graphite Pencil. Brought Markers/Color Pencils too.)


Everytime he maps, he'll say "Paperize", and every third time, "Alley-oop." lol :]

I've been wondering about that "Paperize" for a while. Interesting.

Paperize is something I got from Paper Mario: Sticker Star. Except Jenzy doesn't freeze Time and Space and float over the scene. Hard to explain. Unless you've seen it.

Anyway, In short, Jenzy has something that allow him temporal flight to see overhead [P-Wing] (And I started with him 'flying' to the train. What a silly Earth Pony I am...)

Though I still wonder about how we explorers find new areas... What happens?~

It's like this:
When the teams move out, the explorers will from now on get pm's. These pm's will tell them in which directions are things that can be explored. Like a sixth sense.

That means that without an explorer in your team you have no idea where to go. You can go out and explore places that have been found already but even if you go in the right direction you will not find new places for the team.

Well, I can't be in a group without one since I'm one myself.

Since Break's almost over, I'll try my best to be present when time to lead the others to a whole new area, along with the "Paperization"...

And It's smart that you put it in the middle instead of the beginning because people can say they know the rules just by reading the beginning, or switch all mentions of the word "beginning" to "end" if you put it on the end. Being in the middle really proves they read it.

Yep. That was my idea.
To be honest: I sometimes just fly over the rules too. A while ago only rarely did the rules vary. Recently i noticed that others use such a trick as well.
In case i didn't get this from somewhere ((not sure about this)) i may have started it.
