(Yup, this is the Rp thread!)


Portal Jumper always enjoyed the Harmony Ponyverse, there was never any real problems here.
She was delivering this dimensions Princess Celestia a message from Lord Solaris.
But she couldn't shake the feeling that somepony was following her...

Hey portal Do you feeling okStar said coming up beside her

"Yea, I'm good Star. It just feels like we're being followed by somepony..." Portal jumper said, looking around uneasily.
"Thanks for coming, by the way, Star." she added, as Thunder star was one of her friends from this Ponyverse.

I don't see anypony  Star said looking around I think we need to keep a eye out for anypony though

Jenzy comes out from the bush.
Oh, um. Sorry about that...

"Oh, its just another pony from this Ponyverse." Portal Jumper said, relieved.

So, um... Ponyverse?
Jenzy said with confusion.

"Oh, right, you ponies don't really know about this, do you?" Portal Jumper muttered to herself.

"Well, the easy explanation is there are many different worlds, or dimensions, and thier all connected by portals. We call these dimensions Ponyverses." Portal Jumper explained.

"By the way, I'm Portal Jumper. Who're you?"

Hello. My name is Jenzy.

And, ah. I'm familiar with those. A friend of mine, Somneom opened portals that I had gone through several times. Had to stop though. Causing a rip in time and space. And, I never called them "ponyverses," so, yeah.

Portal Jumper laughed, "Oh, you opened portals. I go through ones that have already been opened. And 'we' is me and my bosses. Now I really have to get to Canterlot, I have a message for your Princess Celestia."

Yeah i just kinda followed  her when i found her in my ponyverse she had a very interesting story

Bosses? Alright. Explain along the way.
Then they head to Canterlot.
((Hmmm... I wonder how we get past the guards))

(Portal Jumper has been here before. The guards recognise her and let her through.)

Portal Jumper nodded to the guards and they let her past, before she said "These guys are with me." and they let Jenzy and Thunder Star past as well.
She hurried to Celestia and delivered Solaris's message, before heading to the nearest portal to this world.
"Well, bye now, I gotta go home and tell Lord Solaris his message got delivered."

Alright. Now what Portal?

"This one, it's how I got here." Portal Jumper said.
"Oh, right! You don't know, do you?" she laughed.

Portal Jumper. Hmmm. You jump through the portal I assume.

"Well, you catch on fast, don'cha?" Portal Jumper laughed, "But unlike other ponies I don't need help to jump backwards through a one-way portal."
Then she had an idea, "You wanna come see what my Ponyverse looks like?"

I wouldn't mind seeing it

Uh... Sure...
And Jenzy follows.

Portal Jumper brabbed both ThunderStar and Jenzy by the hoof and jumped through the portal.
It was slightly hard to get through with two ponies who shouldn't be able to go through this one, but she managed.
"Welcome to my world." she said.
This Ponyverse was very dark, the ground was black and the trees were the darkest shades possible.
It didn't help that it was night-time in Portal Jumpers ponyverse either.
"Well, Prince Artemis is doing a good job with the night since Lord Solaris turned him back to normal." she thought aloud.

Jenzy looked really shocked...
Wow... I've never been to this one. Well, there was another world where it was discorded that I visited. Running away from myself. But, discorded, it wasn't so dark there. This is...

Jenzy was speechless :I
Wow, what happened here?!

"Night Terror Nebula happened here." Portal Jumper said quietly.
"Buuuuuuut hes back to being Prince Artemis now, Thanks to Lord Solaris." she added.

Like Nightmare Moon. But it's REALLY dark. What the hay.

Are you hiding something from us Portal?

"You mean apart from the fact that Night Terror Nebula was way more evil than your Nightmare Moon, or that he almost beat Lord Solaris?" Portal Jumper said sarcasticly.

Well. Just explain it to us later. Where's your place?

Sir Clomps-a-Lot had just finished talking to Princess Celestia. He has heard of the portals before, but never believed that they actually existed until Celestia mentioned it. Disbelief came to Clomps's eyes when he came across Portal Jumper, Jenzy and Star going through a portal. Clomps just stood there shocked.

"Follow me." Portal Jumper said, walking off.

How can you see through this darkness?

"Easy: I grew up here." Portal Jumper said, before stopping outside a tree house near the edge of town.
"Here we are."

((How dark is it anyway? There's some light right? We can see it? And how does it look?))

((Theres some, but not much, light, yes you can see it, and it's a bit like twi's library, but without all the book-shelves 'n stuff on the inside.))

Ah. It's like an empty library in here...

"Thats what you think, Jenzy." Portal Jumper said, before pressing a small button.
Small panels all over the walls revolved to reveal state-of-the-art weaponry.
"This is my weapons room."

Whoah! Y'all are really prepared for anything huh?

Portal Jumper shrugged, then looked outside and saw...
...nothing.
"Uhh... it seems your way home is... erm... well... gone." she told Jenzy and Thunder star.

You mean we're stuck?! :I

"More or less." Portal Jumper said calmly.
"Guess you'll have to stay here till I can find another portal to your Ponyverse. Or theres always the possibility that you could..." she trailed off.

Jenzy thought of some solution...
You don't happen to have... er, power-ups do you? Like some shiny magical carrot of some sort?

"Some what?" Portal Jumper asked, confused.
"If you come with me we can probably get a portal to your Ponyverse found, I just don't have the tech with me. And theres a teeny tiny catch."

Well, I was thinking. If I use a Magical Carrot, I can transform to a unicorn and open a portal with a spell.

And... What's the catch?
Jenzy said with a worried look

"Well, you don't get this kind of tech unless you join The Dimension Jumpers." Portal Jumper explained.
"We travel through the Ponyverses, talk to the other princes & princesses, and help out where-ever possible in the Ponyverses with no line of defence."
"And FYI, your Ponyverse was not the first. This one was. Thats why theres so many portals all over the place!" she added.

Sure it is... Jenzy said sarcastically.
They always say that. Not saying ours was first or whatever, but. WHATEVER. Count me in. Let's clean up this place!

"Follow me." Portal Jumper said, looking up before stepping out the door, then running off towards... a hole in the ground?

Must be some pipe...

Portal Jumper made a groaning sound as Jenzy landed ontop of her.

Jenzy gets off Portal Jumper.
Sorry about that. A bit of advice. You should have some mattress or something we could land on. Once you land, get out of the way! x3

"Well, normally the hatch is closed to prevent accidents." Portal Jumper said, picking herself up and glaring at Jenzy, before walking to a door with a sun on it.
"Either Lord Solaris or The Director will be in here." she told Jenzy.

Alrighty...

"You scared or something, Jenzy?" Portal Jumper laughed.
"You don't need to be, I've met your Celestia, Lord Solaris is just as nice."

I've met Solaris once when I met my female self in a genderswapped ponyverse. I'm not scared of him, but I am a bit scared of his brother.

Portal Jumper laughed, "You mean Prince Artemis? How can you be scared of him? I've met him before and hes acctually pretty shy... but then again you met a different version of him. Besides, the Prince is at Dark-Light Castle."
"Dark-Light Castle is our equivelent of your Canterlot Castle." she added.

I really don't trust the environment. How can it be so dark out? That's rather strange...

Portal Jumper's eyes darted around for several seconds before she shrugged, "Guess you were just lucky enough to be born in the bright Ponyverse. C'mon, this is the most likely way to get you home."

Jenzy follows Portal Jumper~

Portal Jumper saw Lord Solaris and bowed.

Jenzy bowed as well.

"Lord Solaris, my friend Jenzy wishes to join us in return for help getting home." Portal Jumper began, and after awhile Lord Solaris aloud Jenzy to join the Dimension Jumpers.
Portal Jumper then dragged Jenzy out and near a computer with a hoof-scanner.
"Your hoof, on there, now." she told Jenzy.

Which one? >.<

"Any hoof, just do it!" Portal Jumper said impatiently, "We need your DNA so we can lock onto a portal to your Ponyverse!"

Alright alright! x3
Jenzy then used his right hoof...

"Finally! Now lets have a look..." Portal Jumper said, looking at the screen.
"Looks like theres one at Dark-Light gardens." She said after a few seconds.

Ah, where does it open in "my ponyverse." Does it open by my house? O:

"Hmm... nope, looks like it hasn't moved in your Ponyverse. You'll be going back the same way you came here." Portal Jumper said.
"Oh, and your tech will arive in a coupl'a hours, which in your Ponyverse is about... 5 minutes." she added.

Oh. Canterlot Castle. Where we just left off from.

((IN THE HARMONY CELESTIA-AND-LUNA-RULED PONYVERSE:))

Dr. Feather Scroll, clad in his white laboratory coat and a pair of safety goggles, was looking down through an armored window as military ponies and interns shouted orders into magitronic voice amplifiers at his station high above an enormous facility buried deep within the Canterlot Mountains, directly beneath Canterlot City.

"Area 01 clear!"
"Get those technicians out of the yellow zone, you have ten minutes, cadet!"
"Harmony Bridge Scroll-Sparkle particle accelerators going offline in Three, Two, One, OFF!"
"All Agents, stand clear of Harmony Bay Alpha.  Repeat, All Agents..."
"I don't care whether the counter stopped, YOU PERSONALLY have a responsibility to SHUT THOSE DOORS!"
"Get that information to the Director NOW, Lieutenant, and no wasting time!"
"Yes, sir!  Director Scroll!  Director Scroll, sir!"

The professor was snapped out of his reverie as a soldier called for him from his side.  Blinking a bit, the unicorn quickly regained his wits and turned to the pony.  "Yes..." he looked at the stripes and stars along the soldier's uniform.  "...Lieutenant?

"Sir, I was told to inform you that the target has been sighted and is currently en route to the Castle, sir."

The Director nodded, a pensive expression on his face at the thought of meeting the space-time traveling pony.

"Very good.  Make sure that she and anypony who comes with her are welcomed appropriately, we have our Sector's reputation to uphold.  Wouldn't want to make any bad first impressions."

"Sir, yes sir!"

On the subject of terminology, I based my assumptions off the Flim-Flam Brothers' mention of the Kingdom of Canterlot, leading me to believe that perhaps there was a Canterlot city and a Canterlot Kingdom, inside Equestria, which is often referred to as if it were the whole world.

With all this said, should we remove the last few posts and restart a bit before we "meet" impossibly?  And apologies, AAA13, if I was not being explicit and clear.  I shall attempt to be explicit and clear from this point forward.  If you have any questions, please ask or PM me.))

"I ment, you'll get it once you get back to your Ponyverse. For now, you're coming with me." she said.

Portal Jumper looked at Thunder Star, "Dark-Light Castle, where else? The portal to your home is in Dark-Light gardens, just out by the castle."

oki doki loki lets go Star shuddered but tried to keep it unnoticed

Portal Jumper went to the elevatopr to ground level then looked back, "Jenzy? You coming or what?"

"I'm-a comin'! Wait for-a me!"

Portal Jumper pressed the top button in the elevator and they shot up to ground level, before she ran off towards a large castle in the distance.

Jenzy followed Portal Jumper to the castle.

When the reached the portal, Portal Jumper waited for the other two to go in.
"Its open at this end." she said in annoyence "But I have to take you guys to Director Scroll anyways, so I have to go with you."

Ok i would rather you went too just to be safe

"Either go alone or hold my hoof life a little foal, see if I care." Portal Jumper said, annoyed.

Don't worry about it!

"Thats it!" Portal Jumper yelled, very annoyed, and acctually pushed Jenzy and Thunder Star into the portal before jumping through behind them.

Jenzy lands on his back.
AAGHH... Ahha... Ha!
Jenzy gets back on his hooves.

"Sorry, you were being annoying. Now follow me, I'm taking you to Director Scroll." Portal Jumper said, walking off.

Jenzy shrugged.

Jenzy caught up and didn't say a word.

Alarms sounded as the portal sprang to life and three ponies came half-falling, half-walking through.  The hologram at the top of the portal said it was linking to Sector 001M2, but the military personnel were not going to be taking chances.  About twenty armed guards had magic missiles and fireballs ready to shoot before Feather grabbed the voice amplifier matrix from a nearby technician.

"All troops, STAND DOWN.  These are our GUESTS, not intruders.  Agent Portal Jumper and guests, welcome back to Sector 001F2."

The soldiers' horns stopped glowing and the stallions and mares stood at attention or returned to their duties as the alarms turned off and the armored Harmony Bay Alpha doors to either side opened, letting in several technicians and engineers, as well as Director Scroll himself, who had trotted all the way down to personally greet the guests.

"Director Scroll, these are Jenzy and Thunder Star. They joined the DJ this morning, thought I'd bring them to you as soon as possible, as is the rule." Portal Jumper said.

The Director nodded curtly to the three ponies.  "Welcome to the Sector 001F2 Division of Project Harmony.  It's not quite as well equipped or large as the main hub on Sector 001M2, but it's the second largest around.  If you would please follow me, there is a short debriefing session ready for Agent Portal Jumper and paperwork ready for the new recruits.  Please be aware that by even knowing that this place exists you have all placed your lives in the service of Project Harmony, and may not under any circumstances allow this confidential information to enter public knowledge on pain of lifelong imprisonment in defense of Imperial Security.  Agent, your debriefing files, and recruits, your paperwork.  Sign here, please."

Portal Jumper put down the files, "Sir, I'm afraid its begining to open again. And we wont be able to contain both of them in 001M2, if we're correct about them working together. No Ponyverse will be safe once they are free."

Jenzy waited quietly with Star...

well apparently this has occurred before so you must have a way of postponing it.  Star started to think really hard We need a way to stop it permanently. Tell me how have y'all been keeping it from happening so far

"But, if we can get some agents through soon after it opens, we could find a way to defeat them. We would need to talk to the representitives of the Elements of Harmony in this Ponyverse, and Solaris about the defeat of NTN and Discord first, so we could find out their strengths and weaknesses." she added, this time looking at Director Scroll.

Everypony turned to stare, and then back away, from the pegasus, who was trying not to Stare her friends.  "p-please... a lot of ponies could get really, really hurt if we don't do something..."

'Now I remember why I hated the alternate Rainbow Dash so much...' she thought, 'They're both equally arrogant and full of themselves.'

Jenzy looked a bit freaked out/worried and covered his mouth with his hooves.

There was an incoherent "AUGH!" coming from the other side of the war room, where Her Majesty's Student herself was having a breakdown in the middle of what presumably were calculations for... something.

"That's exactly what I've been trying to find out for the past three hours!  But the risk of interdimensional interference and the probability of catastrophic malfunctions from paradoxical particle-wave equations when passing through the singularity with magical equipment as powerful as the Elements means that there is over 24.1314125243% chance that all three of our universes could be entirely destroyed simply by having the Elements in the Discorded universe!  Not only that, but the magical uncertainty principle which allowed for the formation of the infinite possible parallel universes in five-dimensional space means that there is a likelihood that the results of the combination may even spread to other universes!  I can't seem to calculate a proper equation to account for all these factors and still give us anywhere close to a good probability of actually finding a solution to the current dilemma!"

hmm i can see what you men by that bringing something other then a pony or animal may be catastrophic to more then just the two universes. The only thing i can think of is luring him to this word and then we beat him with the elements but even then there is still a chance of Paradoxes happening in that situation. Star look down a bit The best case scenario is it works the two worst things that could happen would be he takes over or a giant paradox destroying all the worlds of the ponies involved

Portal Jumper walked back into the room.
"I could hear you yelling all the way down the hall." she said looking at Twilight.
"And we have another problem I forgot to tell everypony about... even without Night Terror Nebula, Discord wouldn't be working alone."

The roomful of ponies was silent except for the Director, who simply gestured for the Agent or whoever to continue.  Twilight spoke first.

"Let me guess.  Chrysalis, or whoever the counterpart is, is also working in the same world."

((OK. Where are we now? We're at the castle right? I don't want to accidentally do something you can't do in the location... x3))

"No. If that was true we'd be lucky!" Portal Jumper said, looking Twilight in the eye.

"H-hiding." stuttered Prince Artemis as he came out from under the table.

"Portal's right. It's not you. It's that dark... dark thing that had taken over you. Night Terror Nebula. You're a lot better than that your majesty."

"And with you back, we may just stand a chance against Night Terror Nebula after all." Portal Jumper added.

"We still have to be careful though, but, yes. We can bring harmony to your world!"

"Your majesty, you should probably head home. Lord solaris has been looking everywhere for you since you vanished." Portal Jumper told Artemis, who nodded and sped off.

The Director looked on with a gentle smile, which quickly reverted to its former seriousness.  "Would His Majesty be willing to fight?  Or would it truly be necessary to continue on this path, to ever more powerful weapons?"

Portal Jumper left the war room after what the Director had told her, and left the complex then began to hyperventilate, before recovering herself and returning.
Not looking where she was going, she walked straight into Rainbow Dash on her way back into the war room.

Ryo turns his head round and looks at the pony, seemingly unbothered by the alarms blearing around
"Oh give me a debrief of the situation, If you would"

"Well, Dr. Ryo, you must know about the portal we have recently had to close, as you were there during the closing. It has been reopened, from the other side." Portal Jumper said, before continuing, "Night Terror Nebula, Discord, and The Elements of Chaos are free once again."

"So they finally broke though, I guess we miss calculated on the seal time as compared to the fluctuation time frame parameters, this defiantly is worrisome, I was expecting a ETA of at least another year"

"I think it's best if we triangulate the referral point of the portal and get the area quarantined just in case, with any luck we should be able to singleate the signal to here correct"

Outside the armored bay windows, SOMETHING was pulsating where the Harmony Bridge used to be.  To look at it made the soul scream and the mind itch like the stinging of dreams on the ether of the will.

"Where are the Royals?!  I CANNOT build a Megaspell in a single minute, and THEY are not going to give us any more time than we have right now!  YOU SIX!  Do whatever you have to do, NOW, THAT'S AN ORDER ON BEHALF OF EQUESTRIA ITSELF!!"

Portal Jumper, as one of the higher ranking agents, decided to take matters into her own hooves.
"I'll take them through the portal, Director. These six can do no good here. Jenzy, you're with me. Somepony else will have to go find the royals."

Portal Jumper looked over at Rainbow Dash, who seemed to be refusing to hold anyponys hoof.
"Anypony know how to get her to co-operate?"

"Just make sure everypony gets out safely, wouldn't want the prime wonderbolt candidate get hurt now will we, Ill be next door for spell prep contact me on major changes"
Ryo says while walking out the room to a side room then places several card markers around him in a circle
"This should be enough space and distance"
Ryo closes his eyes and begins to chant as the cards form runes and they start to connect to form a large circle

"Umbras creare praesidium, umbris formare signaculum ad repellendum, elementis de nocte et umbra formare hanc potentiam, verba tenebrae potestas mea"
The lines create a spell circle and very slowly a set of chains almost appear over the portal, crawling slowly up them, more ethereal at this point than anything

The chains wrapping the portal snap, as the runes burst in a red glow, and a dark laugh enters through Ryo's mind as he opens his eyes panting for a moment

Ryo runs out the room and shouts
"DIRECTOR we have a problem"

Star runs into a random room and finds the royals Your majesties I need you to come with me

Portal Jumper reached Dark-Light castle and found only Prince Artemis, "Your majesty-"

Prince Artemis turned around, "I know. They've broken through. My brother has already returned to the other world."

"We need to get you out of here, your majesty. It isn't safe here, and if something happens to you, everypony is doomed." Portal Jumper said, and Artemis nodded and followed her back to Jenzy and the others.

Flame had been with the other agents though he has yet to say a thing

The demon gave a cry that was something like claws dragging across a blackboard or the screaming of steel against steel, and all the legions of Chaos screamed with it in anticipation...

"Shut up," growled Bloodberry, "Or I'll shut you up like last time, and let Buttercruel 'heal' you later."

"Don'cha worry, Glut, Ah'm sre it'll be much less painful than last time," smirked Liarjack.  "Maybe he'll only break HALF your bones an' leave yer tongue intact."

The greedy, fat stallion glared at the self-proclaimed lord of lies and swung a hoof at him.  It passed right through the image as the pony reappeared behind him.

"Good job, yer even MORE observant than ever!" jeered the image as another buck passed through.

"Will you two STOP IT!" screamed Bloodberry, hurlng a pair of daggers at the stallions, who quickly stepped aside.  "I SWEAR, I'll-"

"You'll what, loser?" asked a cruelvoice right behind him.  The stallion's pupils shrank to pinpricks as he felt the sharpened hooves of Buttercruel slide gently over his neck.  "Do something MEAN?  That's MY job, you know.  Mommie might not appreciate that."

A snore interrupted whatever stammering protest Bloodberry had half-formulated, drawing the stares of the four stallions present.  Gluttony pouted again.

"Oh for the hate of the demons, you TOOK MY SPOT, you-"

"Traitor?" chuckled the pegasus, opening one eye.  "It's not like I technically PROMISED anything.  I just said I'd 'take care' of your little bed here, and that I have!"

"Why you-"

In the Harmony ponyverse, Zappy is practicing control of his magic in the hidden training room under the stairs in Nova's manor. He has his eyes closed as he charges magic into his tail and makes a chain of lightning with a ball of electricity at the end. He opens his eyes and stares at it smiling, moving it about the room slowly. Something starts to happen in the center of the room that scares Zappy, making him loose focus and drop the spell. He looks away and covers his eyes until a portal opens. Zappy turns and looks at the portal.
(Did....did I do that?) he wonders.
Zappy stares at it for a moment, wondering what to do. He decides to see if something happens if he touches it and grabs a special flask of his and enters the portal by jumping.
Zappy lands flat on his belly just a short distance from the agents. He looks around, noticing that his "Night Vision" is "on." Everything is a light shade of blue and white to him.

The new changeling sees legions of legions of his brethren, all servants to the Dark Mother of Chaos: Black Ursae, twisted, deformed demons that were once noble star-creatures; swarms of mindless changelings, drooling and mad with hunger; chimeras of hundreds of what were once ponies and griffons and dragons, heads swapped, limbs flipped, eyes in places they shouldn't be.  Here, a centipede the size of a house with a mouth of octopus tentacles and a lion's teeth.  There, what looked like a mare, but with a fly's head and the maw of a lamprey, crawling on the limbs of a spider.  All the servants of the Dark Mother of Chaos...

"Looks like We got here just in time, Celestia."

"Let Us hope that Our power is enough to hold Them back.  Twilight!"

The unicorn blinked in awe and tear-filled hopefulness.  "P-Princess Celestia?"

"Activate the Elements!  It's the only way to stop the Rainbow of Darkness from destroying this entire universe!"

Already the pitch blackness was consuming the world like acid eating into stone, and tears came to the Brothers' eyes as They watched Their world slowly consumed.

"Stand tall, little Brother.  Let Us show these demons what it means to face the wrath of Gods!"

Zappy's still giving in lots of love energy, but the drain of chaos energy has left him very tired.
His vision blurred and hearing dulled, it's like being trapped in a glass tank of water.

It is a new age, Child.  We have decided that you are not yet ready to know what truly occurred last, but your efforts have saved this world, at least.  The Elements, ALL the Elements, have rebuilt this realm once more, and the 'demons', as you called them, are sane and whole again, returned to their original homes as squirrels, and ponies, and spiders, and dragons.

Feather touched his face and looked at his hooves in wonder, and all about him.  Everything smelled and looked fresh, new, like a thousand years of spring compressed into a moment after an eternity of winter.

Zappy wakes up, blinking his eyes with blurred vision. He can barely see anything, he's exhausted of love and chaos energies. He stares at the light of the sun for what feels like forever.
