Name: Xeena (Unit 9 of Sector 15)
Type: Unicorn
Age: Adult (Age undecided, most likely around 25-30 if she was human. (If anyone knows what that would be in pony years, help?))
Personality: Quick to anger. She overall tries to be kind to others. A very strong-willed horse who often refuses to back down, or listen to the other side of an argument. She gets excited around fights or anything physical, and most likely will (try to) join the action. One could also describe her as thick headed, or downright stupid when it comes to anything except battle.
Appearance : A light brown coat, with sky blue eyes and an white mane. Cuts and scratches cover her body most of the time due to constant sparring with others.[IMG]http://i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l589/SarshSmith/Scan_Pic0025-1.jpg[/img]
Abilities: Her main talent comes in her physical attributes. For a pony, she is slightly more fit, and can carry up to the weight of the average full-grown male pony on her back due to extensive training. She also knows set things on fire.
Weaknesses: As mentioned earlier, Xeena isn't the smartest pony around. Because of this, she often just charges at things in fights-- leaving herself wide open. Also, despite being a unicorn, she barely knows any magic, only knowing the fire ability, which doesn't even work on ponies.
Homeland: Extris ("Tris" is pronounced like trees, but with an "s" like the word "snake")
Cutie Mark: To represent her love for fighting, her Cutie mark is two, overlapping swords.
Backstory: Xeena grew up in Extris, a reclusive, secretive land that lives solely on social classes. The classes go in from top to bottom in this order; Knight, Nobility/Wealthy, Blacksmith, Commoner. In Xeena's case, she was a knight.
Knights are chosen from commoner families, as they are the multitude of the population. Once they are old enough to run, they go through testing. If they do well in the testing, they leave their families permanently to train, and eventually fight like their predecessors. They from that point may not have close relations with any other ponies, as that distracts from their purpose to fight and protect. In Xeena's case, this was very early on (She still faintly remembers her mother), and she became a fine knight midway into her adolescence. Things went well, until a certain day she ran into a certain pony whom she had good chemistry with. That pony had only gone to the training grounds to deliver a letter, and ran into Xeena on the way.
Despite the laws of the time, the two fell in love, and began an attempted secret relationship. This lasted for a painfully brief while, as they were soon caught. Both of them were captured. Her mate, for messing with someone as high up in class as a Knight, was stripped of all belongings, and taken to an Undisclosed location. They yet to be seen again by either Xeena, on the other hand, was removed from the knights and banished from Extris, as decided by the Council (Current Judicial system. They place under "Nobility").
Currently, her life consists of wandering around the outskirts of towns. She seems to be unaffected by her past, but every once in a while she'll sit back and yearn for her old life, and love, once more. She still searches for her love as well, despite knowing the near-impossible odds.
Quick side note: Because Xeena's homeland has not progressed in technology since the medieval ages, she views most technology as evil, or a monster of sorts. She also has no real "home," instead living in the forests. Currently she hangs around the outskirts of Ponyville. She can't read or do math, either. Knights receive little or no education except for history and fighting (and magic training, but Xeena never cared to try to learn anything other than the Fire spell).

Ah, a unique dark backstory.
I like her personality! It makes up for her ability of being so strong. Although, I would think that only earth ponies would have so much strength like that, but I guess she DID go through knight training.
I'm not sure if Equestria would be a place that has fights and wars. Normally we have guards, not knights.
I don't really think cutie marks can actually be burned off. They're, like, coloured skin on your flank that make up a picture? Perhaps you could tweak that part a bit?
I don't quite understand why they would be sentenced to death simply for being in love and not focusing on duties. Death penalties also don't sound very Equestrian like. They should've just sent the one she loved to a far away place so that she wouldn't be distracted from duties. Cruel, but not as cruel as a death penalty. Right?
What are the requirements for a baby to be picked as a knight? Dovthey seriously pick any foal under the sun? Wouldn't it be better for them to pick those that are already known to be strong rather than taking frail, weak ones and forcing them to be strong?
But overall, I like this OC's personality and backstory, it's just that there are some things to be answered.
