I don't trick-or-treat any more, but back in the day I had some pretty awesome costumes - I went as an atom one year (with hula hoops for orbitals), and an ATM another year (that was not a comfortable one to get around in...)

Oh. That's really sad. :c Do you celebrate any holiday where you get free candy? I mean, I'm aware that not everyone celebrates Easter either, and December holidays aren't necessarily Free Candy holidays. Valentine's Day isn't as fun as Halloween.

I'm sorry. :(

Well, guys, I don't get to go Trick or Treating anymore. But my grandparents across the street always have a bunch of leftover candy after Halloween, so they give it to me, and my aunt always mails me stuff each holiday except Thanksgiving and Christmas, when she comes to town. I think my mom and I are gonna buy candy the day after Halloween because it'll be on sale.

I'm not allowed to go trick or treating, so Imma just nab some candy from the cupboard and make a shrine to NMM and Luna.

That sucks, maybe you could ask for candy or something at least?  :c

My grandma usually buys candy for everyone on Halloween Easter and Valentine's Day. Since me and my sister don't go trick or treating anymore. I used to wear a scream costume without a mask, since it looked like the Wraiths from lord of the rings. I actually felt bad though I was pretending to sound scary one year at my aunt's house with the wraith costume and scared this little kid who was trick or treating with his mom, which caused me to take off the hood and say it's okay I'm not a ghost I was only joking. He was actually almost crying.  >.< His mom said he would be fine though and he still got his candy.

For some people, scaring other people and kids is their favorite part of Halloween, though. One guy actually sat on his porch dressed as a stuffed scarecrow, and when someone would ring his doorbell, he'd jump up and scare them. I think he might have stopped after one guy accidentally punched him in the face.

Where I used to live, a guy dressed as a scarecrow and sat by his candy bowl. If someone took more than one piece, he would jump up and scream at them. lol

I liked scaring people for fun, but I didn't want to make a little kid cry he was only like 5 years old probably.  :c

When my dad took me trick or treating I was scared to death at this one house that had people hiding in coffins jumping out and screaming whenever someone walked by. It was when I was really young though so things like that actually scared me.  X3

I LOVE Halloween. One of my all time favorite holidays. I've been slowly learning about myself that i am in love with costuming, so I've gone a bit crazy this year. My college generally has multiple opportunities to wear outfits, on multiple days, so several of us end up making multiple costumes.

I have 2. and i've even got a link for one of them. XP

I've already worn the Engineer one around, but i'll try to get an image of myself in it before too long.

*Sees post*-Wonders why that would be suggested to me, then looks around and sees the Pinkie Pie figure on top of my monitor, my PP wallpaper and my LoE forum avatar and signature.
"Oh, that's why :D

As completely awesome as that would be, in my professional position I don't think it would do my authority any justice to have my employees see their boss dressed up as a pink pony  lol

I can imagine the look on their faces though  ovO

Zinrax should get a costume that is an explosion.

This might be possible...

Spoiler: All right here's what we're gonna do. • show
1. Forge magnetic bars. 20 should suffice.
2. Forge hollow balls in which a propane container is hidden, with a magnetic bar through the diameter. 20 should suffice (the bar hollow)
3. Wire an electrical ignition system to those balls and another to the bars to add negative charge.
4. Put the balls on the bars. 1 ball/1bar
5. Attach the bars firmly to a costume.
6. Add some speakers with a loud banging noise to your costume.
7. And voilĂ , your DIY explosion is ready.

You may need scissors to do this so ask an adult or guardian to help you.

Mechanics of the bar and ball

When you set of the e--charge, quickly set of the ignition and the speakers.
You may need to practice a few times before you go out.
Be sure to bring along extra gas because people may find it so awesome they tell there friends, who in turn want to see it as well.
