There's a bees nest in my house somewhere, and I'm gonna find it >:O
I hate em too...Eep. ono
The only reason I know that there's a bees nest in here is because there's like 4 bees somewhere in here, good thing my dogs on my side.

Oh my.. I think I'd just move to a new house... >A<
bees are awesome, other than when 30 of them sting you.....
I like bees when they're outside, but when they're inside, that's a whole different story...
Me and my cousin ((when we where 5 years old)) were attacked by a bee hive we accidentally hit. Take my vengeance for me plz! Cuz now, I hate all of there kind.
I wouldn't exactly say i hate bee's... however i can honestly tell you i am not to fond of being stung though. :P
Usually harmless, unless the nest is near somewhere populated :c

You also have to watch out for those African bees O:
I had a bee fly right into my glasses once. It bounced off hard enough to fall to the ground. Get back up. and then IT WALKED OFF. it dident even fly. I think it dident want to startle me. It flew off at a few feet... maybe it was too embarrassed to fly... lol

Its curious of the camera AND cleaning itself :3
Don't be as crazy as my brother was....
He found a wasp nest in the corner of his windows. Decided to go out there with a can of shaving cream and drench it..not once, but 3 times. The wasps were.....less than happy. I was surprised he didn't get stung.....
It didn't help him that I would sit on the other side of the window and hit it when he got close, evil me ovO
I had been living with bees for a year and a half before we finally called an exterminator(I don't know why we waited so long). I was on vacation when he came, so I wasn't there to see it, but apparently we had about 12,000 chilling in our wall for over a year and a half. This doesn't include the bees that were killed overtime, which would probably make about 16,000 bees in total. After exterminating them, we were left with about 3 garbage bags full of honeycombs and dead bees.

WOAH. That's crazy!! O:
I love bees, they are cute :3
Plus they won't randomly sting without good reason so I just let the bee do it's thing while I do my thing and everyone around me freaks out about a harmless little insect xD

Bees hurt themselves to hurt you. So they are not likely to try to hurt you for no good reason.
O my gosh this thread is evil I love bees I want to work with plants later on and get all mad if someone says anything bad about plants (you should of saw me that one time)
They really only sting if they're unlucky enough to fly inside your shirt :l

Trust me, I love nature, especially bees. But when they're in my house, they're considered flying needles! lol
I'm neutral when it comes to bees, since they ARE adorable, but I had a bad experience with a bee when I was little... it's a bit to odd to say X3 I'll just say, one bee stung me 3 times. Now how to get dem bees out of your house, you gotta smack dem out that window :]
I don't really mind bees if they keep to themselves and don't swarm my food and such, but when they build a hive in a house's walls or try to steal your food, that's when it crosses a line.
Bees? Bees?! BEES!!!! Gah! Scary buzzing, scary stinger, scary faces!!!!! Well, if they're at a distance and not flying around to much and are the rumbly tumbly type then they aren't too bad. Once I saw a mother bee with her baby bees and she was teaching them how to get pollen from a flower and it was so cute. I got up super close and they didn't seem to mind. By the way, you should read the first chapter of the Secret Life of Bees, it's about how this girl lays in bed in the early morning and lets a bunch of bees just freely come in and buzz about. As long as bees stay away from me, I'm good......Have you tried calling an exterminator?
My parents try to hit bees out of the house with tennis rackets. DD:
Try being in danger of almost getting killed by those buggers :/

The other day when I post this thread when I was being bothered by the bees, I couldn't find the fly swatter, so I was thinking about using a big stick I had in the garage. lol I don't know what was going to through my head at the time.

Sadly the bee is not ok after that. ;3;
*hugs you because you were stung by a bee*
When we were in our old house like 15 years or so ago we used too have a nest of bumblebees under our house. One day my sister was just walking down the stairs and a whole bunch came out and started trying to sting her head. Needless to say after that my dad got rid of the nest and the bees. Since they basically attacked us for no reason. As they just decided to come out one day and attack her. Honeybees don't really bother me much though one landed on me without stinging me, but bumblebees seem crazy as they always seem to bother you for no reason at all.
Carpenter bees are awesome though, we have one that sits on our house porch in summer and attacks any wasps or other bees that try to fly near us or the house. And when it sees us it just stares for a bit then flies back to it's nest or something on the house. :D
The time it takes to make a nest, and to do so in an orderly fashion is remarkable feat for the bumblebee
aye, though annoying if they do it in a place that isn't theirs x3
I've been stung a few times before (I
Read the forum rules.ed off a nest that was hidden inside my outdoor slide). It really isn't as bad as some people take it to be. It feels like a needle. The excess pain is all psychological unless they're venomous or you're allergic. I for one appreciate what bees do for us, and of course their sting needs to be painful or they'd be killed off rather easily.
Wasps, on the other hand...

I agree, like I said, I don't mind them unless they decided to set up shop inside a house or something. And both wasps AND hornets can go swim in a lake.
A few years ago (like 4, 5 years?), I remember my dad removing a nest from the shed. He made them extremely mad, obviously. So he went and got my BB gun, and hip-fired them! I'm still impressed with him today.

We're building in area's that were originally prime nesting areas for them

I was playing in a tree, and I got attacked by a nest I didn't see. My dad took a lighter and burned it.

african honeybees are classified as an invasive species where I am at least.
Bumble bees also seem to like to attack people, from my experience with them. I could be walking through the yard and sometimes they follow you or chase you.
I still love carpenter bees though.
