Hello hello. These are my OCs. I tend to like the idea of character development, so this shall be updated as things happen or new OCs come about.
Main(s) : Chars that I will most likely use in full in RPs of my own or other's design. These also allow the most change in terms of RP development. (Relationships, ability, etc.)
Name: Kip Stardasher
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Job: Substitute Ponyville Library Attendant
Cutie Mark: Yin-Yang symbol with a silver outline--The black and white dots are in the shapes of a wind and earth crest respectively.
Type: Pegasus
Physical Appearance: (Same as forum pic) Dark brown coat with a silver-white mane and tail. Purple eyes. Has a small lump the approximate size of the base of a typical unicorn's horn on his forehead.(Almost always covered by mane unless mane is altered somehow--cut, burned, wind blasted, etc.) Often wears glasses, a vest, and typically wears heavy shoes on his back hooves seemingly all the time.
Short Bio: Despite appearing studious, he can be fairly easygoing until there is a task at hoof, by which he's often quite serious toward its completion. Friendly to a fault and enjoys helping out other ponies. Has a tendency to righteously protect ponies and friends when they're in trouble. While from Canterlot, it isn't his original home, which has always been unknown to him as he was orphaned at birth. Strangely enough, he's also had his cutie mark since birth. He's come to believe that it is related to universal balance as he has an uncanny natural balance.
He came to this early on as he discovered no matter how fast he moves, on the ground or air, his body seems to be in perfect sync--He suffers no disorientation associated with high speeds or instant changes in position (Spinning, flips, being upside-down, etc.). Unless someone or something directly comes in contact during a feat, he always manages to land perfectly on his hooves, no matter how small or thin, or unbalanced the landing surface. With this, he's also naturally gifted in various martial arts, another trait that he picked up on while watching a karate demonstration during his younger days. Practicing it out in the open often got him teased, so he did so in secret, or so he thought. He gained the attention of a high-ranking royal guard, who ended up teaching him how to fully hone these skills soon after his adoption.
His years in Canterlot earned him a positive reputation as he never missed a beat in helping out whenever it was necessary..even when dangerous. He grew to dislike the excessive attention, however, so he sought to live someplace that was very much low-profile compared to Canterlot: He chose Ponyville, namely because a friend he had earned in Canterlot happened to also live there, who just so happened to be in charge of the library, which is how he came to get his job.
Support(s): Chars that would be introduced that has some direct or indirect relation to a Main during the course of RP.
Name: Lightning Striker
Gender: Male
Type: Pegasus
Job: Major of Royal Guard
Mark: White sword with a blue bolt of lightning running through it
Physical Appearance: Solid Black coat with bright blonde mane and tail. (May have a proper pic later.
Short Bio: Despite being a Major in the royal army, he's quite laid back. Allowing small things to run their course unless of course he see's it's a clear and present danger.
He is Kip's mentor, superior, and good friend, having taught him various ground and aerial combat techniques, even some swordplay, as well as many life lessons..especially in regard to getting mares..
I'd really like to know more about this Universal Balance and these acrobatic feats that are considered nearly impossible by other Pegasi. So far, it's a hard sell. Since you're into character development, I'm pretty sure you've got a good, logical reason why a substitute library attendant would be an apprentice to a Major in the Royal Army and have aerial skills that could rival the Wonderbolts.

Absolutely. ^^ I actually have quite a lot of back story on Kip ready, but I thought it would add mystery to the character to let these things be revealed through RP as these are things that aren't entirely understood by the character himself as of yet. However, I can see your point. I could be more descriptive on exactly what he's capable of and other things and I'll be adding that in. And about the Universal Balance, of course there's a lot more to that as well, but I meant it as that is what the character himself thought it was, drawing from his experiences with it while he was young, which would go into what he's physically capable of doing.
I love it when characters don't fully understand themselves and any misconceptions they have translate to misconceptions we, the readers, have about them. I use this technique all the time to hide the more important secrets of a character while still alluding to them.

That's exactly what I was trying to go for. There's actually quite a lot of deep seeded secrets around him that would be huge spoilers if they were to be placed fully into a bio. One of them having relation as to why he's apprentice to a Major, among other things, such as who is it that came to adopt him. Admittedly, some of those secrets aren't entirely original. :c
If only you wouldn't overdress him, he'd be fantastic.

Overdress, you mean in physical appearance? I did actually have it in mind of changing that, but I wasn't sure.
