Alright so here's the OOC forum board for Curse Moon of the Sea.

Here will be the rules of the game and the things to know.

1~No god modding

2~No power playing

3~This will be rated PG/G. (mid violence)

4~This RP is story based. So play along. No jump in, or ill delete it.

5~The Wandering Magus (*edit* and CinniBun) will be assisting me with this story, so listen and follow what they say. :]

6~I know their will be multiple players in this so be patient when we post things, Will be slow and be PMing each other about the RP.

Now in this story. Eventually you will split into two teams, i won't tell you when but once you created your teams (Or me and Magus) you will move to a new forum with your team and begin there.

Sometime in the future one of you will get kidnapped/captured. When that happens you must follow it (And if it's necessary, another forum will be made only for you and your captive partner/s)

There will be a little combat in this. So don't be silly with your attacks. Example, no powerful instant kill *pew pew* with a laser cannon. Make it small and simple. If you say like

Pony 1 uses sword but enemy dodges it.
then
pony 2 comes behind enemy after the dodge and uses flare.

I will accept that kinda strategy. (Btw the enemy is dead ^)


Next I'll put color coding like Teal's Shattered Mind RP, it's simple yet shows what's going on and what to do.

Blue = can be done with spells/abilities.
Green = useable as it currently is or can be done without special effort.
Red = Cannot be done with spells/abilities. Requires special item/etc.
Bold Black = Nothing can be done. You are simply to experience or see such a thing before you.
Orange = Something you may notice that will appear or be useable/important later.

Lastly, if you meet the "enemy" who's part of the story. Be "persuasive" you'll know when the time comes...

Heh, i haven't seen any color from your roll play either. But with mine hopefully it will be useful. I hope i don't mind using it. ^-^

By the way, how will you name the different team forums? Will it be like: Red Team and Blue Team?

Something like that. Magus and I will be making a forum board saying "The legend of the cursed moon of the sea, temple of Moon/Sun I'll control the first while she controls the other. The players will not know what's going on with the other teams as they are separated from each-other (Unless you want to peek) :P Just to make the story realistic and exciting. ;)

My O.C.s never been apart so Star Noon getting kidnapped will make Star Midnight mad.

If you want to make this Rp comical put Elluka and Irina together if you want it to be serious put them on different teams

Oh my goodness! I so pose gender isn't important either way, as long as we get along. I haven't decide which teams everyone will be on but it will go random. Am thinking of starting the roleplay this Sunday or next week. :]

good luck on your roleplay then ^-^  like I said, you can have Fancy and Blood be NPCs for the start, until I manage to find time to do this on a daily basis consistently starting next week.

Friday I have Psychology of Death and Dying, Speech, and Human anatomy classes.  Saturday is my Human anatomy lab,  though I should hopefully be able to be on later on Saturday.  Sorry about that, my studies are a bit insane with all the work I have to do.  ovO

I'll see what I can do.  Between Chemistry, Physics and Calculus I might have to work a bit to find that time, but I think I'll be pretty good.  What times on Saturday, in relation to PST?  Or GMT, some reference for comparison would be nice.

A reminder to the players. Domino Effect will be taking over this RP for the time being. But ill keep a watch on whats going on and give Domino some advices. So when Domino is ready and the players aswell, will start again.

sad to see you go.  I do happen to have a question regarding the current state of affairs; exactly what is Jade Mask talking about, with the dragon?  I do not recall any such thing being mentioned in my discussions concerning the story and NPCs with Morgan OR with Domino.

the dragon is not there but there was rumor from the homeland of Midnight and Noon of that dragon being there. The dragon they are looking for is rumor the last to the 101 of 100 dragons but there only 100 of them and the extra dragon is a myth.

Wow this is getting intense. I swear every time i progress my story according to what has been given to me i can feel the same emotion my OC is feeling.

Ooooo! I love that feeling.   :D  It's the best and it truly gets you inside your character's mind.

True. It is a nice feeling and it helps you understand your character better but right now he is emotionally distraught and I'm honestly worried for him.  >.<

Understandable his friends are dead (got banned)  and he is basically running for his life.  Hopefully he'll be safe soon and get to take a small break. Mine is just slowly freezing and completely wet but she is too excited to notice.

Well basically he is cornered now and as for Rigor, I hope her excitement doesn't get the better of her.

Nah huh.. she was on guard but freezing as she got in the cave.. then turned from the light because she didn't want to tangle with something without a weapon.  When she busted into that treasure room was when she forgot all her cares.  Though to be honest the cold has gotten to her and all she cared was to get out of the rain..

B&F save point removes any wounds, diseases, magical effects and fear effects from players that encounter the save points (which moves as the game progresses).

It's also a shop for anything you need

and a free storage for items you think are too bulky or don't have use for at the moment.  They also offer free advice.

Congratulations to everyone for sticking with me this far, and although we've had a few hiccups in the system (Justly dealt with, if I may add) I can honestly say I've finally found my home here!
Next few posts will see our heroes meeting new allies, discovering new enemies and unearthing a smidgeon of the secrets surrounding the Legend of the Cursed Moon of the Sea!

Insane, I'll give you half a bonus point for guessing the Cthulu statue, but the other item was the crystal skull from the Indiana Jones movie!

There are only three Indiana Jones movies..  ovO  *Twitch* I don't know about the crystal skull you are talking about..

Other than that... awww.. I actually was debating between Human skull and Crystal Skull but I went with human. XD At least I know my Cthulhu!

lol I dont think knowing Cthulu so well is something to be proud of.

illusions rather than the real thing
shield
antimagic runes
blocking the tablet from sight
specifically avoiding words from the tablet and referring to things in a roundabout way

first one: physical curse
second one: exploding tablet trap
third one: combination of the first two
fourth one: visual trap, hypnosis, etc
fifth one: word-triggered traps, which I suppose just happened with the glowing line and whispers and stuff.

Not quite, the plans I have for the tablet are bizarre but clever. In a way, you could say that the tablet is like a compass, whenever part of the text lights up the place where the characters need to go makes itself visable. Since the tablet now cannot be carried (Too heavy for a single pony to lift or it'll slot into the circular table, not sure yet) this ensures that the ponies will have to return to the Hub village in order to access the next area.

well, as far as Fancy and Bloodblade know it's a ticking time bomb waiting to blow, unless you think that maybe Fancy's familiar with using mysterious glowing tablets as completely non-treacherous guides.  Otherwise, you know, the group might just re-shatter the tablet out of (not entirely improper considering circumstances) paranoia.

As a quick little thing, this is what I think Domino would sound and behave like in this RP...

Considering i'm making this before Blues went to ponyville since that story is undecided up until now he already travelled to alot of places.Also unless Domino wants to make me important to the plot I can say I crashed my boat on the way to trottingham.Also the reason Blues is acting so calm is because he crashed a couple of boats a lot of times.Lets just say sailing isn't his thing.But yeah I guess he can be the pinkie pie combined with Twilight of the group.Serious , but still random.
