Personality: Somewhat quiet and introverted, but friendly towards everypony and possessing an excessive amount of patience. Also, very honest and truthful if a bit blunt at times.

Talents: Though posessing the ability to manipulate weather like all Pegasi, Dawnstar performs poorly at pretty much all of it. The one exception however is his ability to create very powerful and specifically focused air currents. When formed a certain way these air currents can bend light rays in various ways from simple refracting of light into spectral colors, to extremely complex mirages that mimic magical illusions.

Due to the wing power required to create such air currents Dawnstar's flying prowess has increased dramatically since he was a foal. Though not able to fully keep up with faster fliers without "cheating" he is instead an endurance flier, capable of maintaining a set speed for far longer than the majority of Pegasi.

Personality: Friendly and well-mannered and nice to everypony she meets. However, she can be a bit snobby when annoyed and can be very defensive about her cooking.

Talents: Amber has a strong affinity to fire magic which, when used to cook food, has the special attribute of altering the flavor to either make it taste even better than it could on its own (signified by a slight, bright gold glow), or make it as offensive to the tastebuds as possible (signified by a slight, dull gold glow). She is, of course, also very proficient in general fire spells as well which all maintain her distinct golden hue.

Personality: Will rush to another pony's aid if he believes they need assistance. Very stubborn and sometimes can be abrasive. Will become extremely aggressive when ignored in battle.

Talents: While earth ponies are known for their endurance, Sigil stands out amongst even them. Possessing and unbelievable tenacity and strength he is able to outlast just about any opponent through sheer force of will.

Personality: Maintains a constant, carefree and upbeat attitude at all times, and doesn't take no guff from nopony.

Talents: Lavender is a Pegasus who is very skilled in all sorts of springtime weather changes. Anything from bright, sunny spring days to dreary spring showers, Lavender can change the weather across a large area with ease. Her rain clouds in particular have a peculiar feature in that they always seem to maintain a lavender hue to them similar to her mane.

Personality: A very friendly and kind pony, Hearthglen is not afraid to lend a helping hoof to anypony in need. Giving care to the weary travelers who pass by her Inn and healing those injured by their journey's perils.

Talents: Hearthglen is a skilled herbalist and healer, able to patch up all but the most serious injuries as well as most diseases and infections with her herbal medicines. This talent is helped extensively by her ability to identify harmful and helpful species of herbs at but a glance while other ponys see the exact same plant.

Trolls are large, brutish, bipedal creatures that live in the mountain caves surrounding White Tail Wood. Though only seen on rare occasions their appearances have become more frequent of late, though nopony knows why.

Legend has it that in ancient times the Trolls brought war to the lands that would one day become Equestria, their king, Volgrin, seeking to use the Ponies as a tool to push his war machine to the far corners of the world. Realizing their peril, the Unicorn Ponies devised a spell to halt the Trolls' advance. Once cast, it would curse the Trolls, preventing them from ever setting foot in broad daylight. With the Trolls on the defensive the Ponies eventually pushed them to the Troll King's lair. With a portion of the cavern's roof collapsed the threat of the Trolls was ended as they had either fled or had become petrified statues.

However, there is a weakness in the Trollkin curse the Unicorns devised. Should magic of -any- kind be used in the presence of a Troll statue, the enchanted prison will absorb the magical energy until it shatters, releasing the imprisoned creature.

Final Note: Do not underestimate a Toll's intelligence. While they may have trouble speaking our language, they are highly intelligent and extremely cunning.
