Backstory: Crystal was a princess a thousand years ago, and was lived with her mother in Canterlot. One day, Princess Luna changed into Nightmare Moon, and every day it was nighttime. While Crystal heard from other ponies that something was wrong with Luna, her mother simply said that Luna was sick, and that she couldn't lower the moon.

One day, rumors spread that Nightmare Moon was attacking ponies. Believing these rumors, her mother turned Crystal into a statue while she was asleep and stowed her away to protect her. Crystal's mother was kidnapped by Nightmare Moon, but soon Nightmare Moon was banished to the moon. When her mother came back, she found that the Crystal statue had been stolen.

The Crystal statute had been stolen by a stallion who was desperate to make some money. He sold the statue to a wealthy family, who kept the statue for many years, passing it down. One day, a foolish unicorn saw that the statue had a spell on it, and that it was wearing off. Unsure of what the spell did, he put another spell on it. Turns out that the spell that had been wearing off was the one that kept Crystal a statue. The one he had put on was more like a curse.

Then one day, a descendant of the family grew tired of the statue, and sold it to a a stallion in Ponyville, who only kept it in his living room for a few weeks before moving it to the basement. More years passed, and the old house collapsed. Then one day, Crystal turned back into a pony, and woke up. She had no memories of the years that had passed, and is determined to find her mom.
Personality: A bright, curious personality. She is rather friendly, but the spell the foolish unicorn will activate if she gets mad.
