SO, anyway, I really do Like Pegasi, really. I fell in love with pegasi when I first saw Rainbow dash. So, I dont know. I Kinda want another pegasus pony In my group of Oc's. No, shes not magical, she doesn't even live in cloudsdale. She reminds you alot like a earth pony, but shes a pegasus. I just... I dont know. I just dont feel right having an earth pony in my group for some reason :l

Keep the Pegasus. A Pegasus that acts like an earthpony is a better character then the lame ol' "Born in cloudsdale and loves to fly and do tricks and stuff" or whatever. Don't stereo type your ponies by type because that would be...

A name like Olive Oil would be more appropriate on an Earth Pony since an Olive is a vegetable grown in the ground. Earth Ponies are the only race capable of growing vegetables, including Olives.
That's just one pony's impression.
