Being born straight from the Heliopolis region, Crimson was a rather kind and gentle, though rather mischievous young one in his days. At the age of 10, when Range was only but 2 years old, The whole family migrated to Equestria due to a depression causing much poverty for the townsfolk. For about 6 years, he took over as Range's guardian after their parents died of natural causes. Blood does seem to have an unusual reaction coming across mares worthy of his tastes, becoming indefinitely shy and sometimes even gets an ... "Adult" feeling from even the most innocent of mares.
Crimson's odd magic leaves him frequently anemic and as a result, his blood iron levels drop considerably. He usually keeps about 3-5 bottles full of iron supplements and rarely bottles of captured O2 gas. Over the years, the combination of the two seem to have an effect on his body from adaptation, hyper starting energy, little to no deoxygenated blood, increased blood cell count, also assisting him from prevention of anemia, though he can't really rely on those results to keep him from being cautious about his attacks.
