I think Pyro can claim it.
Bald pony have the most Complicated mane in existance!
depends on what you mean by "complicated". I can't even find a matching mane on Pony Creator for Juniper, but it's easy enough to draw.
I mean complicated to draw. Pyro's has so many different stands, and the curl in some places and wave in others while the top is always straight. Also, feathery bangs.
Whoa... so why was this moved to Pony Off-topic? I just meant to post a pic of my ponysona with a funny title.
Every one keeps saying I have the most complicated mane ever.. X3

I've drawn your OC. I find my OC was more difficult, as I made her so complex.
Most complicated one I've seen before was one of Rumor/Sponk/Michio's. Some sort of mane like a mix between yours and parfait's.
:I
May Celestia help us all.
on that note, Celestia's mane can be a pain sometimes.
I find it easy to draw, but animating it... just kill me. It is so difficult.
animating, yes. That hair >.<

Good thing all her mane animations are probably predone.
Most of the moving animations in MLP are pre-done and reused(Anypony watched My Little Bloopers-Mistakes are Forever?). It's likely Celestia's mane was used the same way, hence why there are sometimes clipping issues in her animations
My still unnamed insanely long haired mare.
Fifty feet for mane, fifty feet for tail. Not some big, messy fluff cloud either. It's long, silky, each strand in independent.
And it's not all one color.
that mane is evil to try to draw

Actually, that one does come in a close second. I remember when I first got into drawing ponies I did a few drawings for ya, and had a really hard time drawing your mane. Those multiple colors were rather irritable to do X3
I'm satisfied that I give my ponies' manes the simplest design possible. I love those poofy curls! :3

No.
I made them because I like long hair.
Extremely long hair.
with independent, multicolored strands? Like in anime/manga?

Pretty much.
regardless of whether it was intentional or not, it probably is an artist's worst nightmare lol
and this is where stallions (and i guess some mares) like mine get to sit back and watch the fun. i keep my mane close cropped, so, very simple to draw.
Guess it depends on preference x3
Parfait, Celestia, and Zinrax are easy. Didn't try Zyg's mare, so I can't say. Seriously, though, try drawing Pyro. <Bad pony> nightmare.

Then try it.
Remember, it's not a big fluff or mess, it's straight, silky, and each strand is its own.
Spoiler: Like in anime show
Anime? Pppttthhh, this will be easy.
I think my OC Beanio Mendeanio has the most complicated mane. Her's is made of food.
... How?
Princess Parfait, no contest. :I
And I think she likes it that way.
Well here is a pic of Beanio Mendeanio.

And that is just the left side of her mane.

have a nice time, I HATE drawing that kind of hair
I love drawing anime style stuff. You know what, I'm drawing Parfait, Zinrax, Zyg's OC, and Pyro in one pic, just cause of boredom.
now when you say "draw"... what exactly do you mean?
Pencil on paper.

ah, well, on paper certainly things are much easier to draw. I thought you were talking about digital vectors and such, like Sugarcup does. hair in THAT is a pain, if you want good quality.

Truer words were never spoken.
Though it would be easy for somepony who has done such things for some time.

perhaps not "easy", but rather "easier". probably still is a pain even for Sugarcup, unless she has a program that makes the hair strands for her.

IIRC Sugarcup makes sketches on paper and then she colours them in Photoshop...but I may be wrong.

That's what I do! But I still have to retrace the lines manually... otherwise my colors don't work right... am I just doing it wrong?

Everyone has different ways to make ponies.Drawing on paper and then colouring on the PC is easier than making everything on the PC.That's what I think anyways.

Did it. It was surprisingly easy.

Because it's not a full body, you only did headshots.
I had one page in my art book left. ONE! Otherwise I would have done full body. In fact, I'll try vectoring them, would that make up for it?

Eyup.
Eyup.
*Sigh* Squee.
EDIT: Is it okay so far?
I feel my mane in that image could be more slick! :I
I did that in the vector, but apparently it didn't upload to imageshack and it was lost! D:
I have a very tedious way of doing art.
1)Pencil Sketch
2)Retrace with permanent marker/fine tip Sharpie
3)Scan
4)Open in ultimate paint and make pic complete black/white
5)manually edit lines for smoothness, inconsistencies(Windows 7's paint program SUCKS for this btw)
6)color in Paint, including shading
7)Vector magic(I only learned about vectoring images a week or so ago btw)
I make Penny's mane simple because of these steps and the lack of patience I have with projects like these.
My avvy came out really nice though I think :)
Personally though, I think PP's mane is really difficult looking, but this comes from me, and all manes are difficult to me
and that pic I saw of her a couple pics back is ADORABLE!

What's with the white in there?
But yeah, work on the edges and it's great.
Oh sweet Celestia, the Zinrax saved.

And the white is light on the mane.
I use GIMP usually for my stuff :P it makes all my lines so much smoother.
ex:
from paint only:
from sketch, in paint:
from sketch, in GIMP:
Me while waiting for the GIMP one to load: "It's apparently so awesome... that my computer can barely handle its epicness!"
Instead, it was just doing a window-wiper loading and then resized it. But still, that's pretty good.
sowwy x3 idk what sugarcup uses, heard it was photoshop. but I don't think hand-drawn can do round lines like that.
Almost... done...
lol Thanks. Gonna need to do more blending then make the background transparent.

Just a question for you mods, I posted a joke in the Tartarus thread about Tartarus being in Skyler's scarf. Can you please tell me why they were deleted?
The post with the picture is gone. Then two of Stichin's posts were one after the other so it was double post and it was edited in one post.At least I think that is what happen,

I don't think so.
There is no god/goddess of art, and it is definitely not her, a mere mortal.

If they were a god, I would be forced into liking their work due to divine stuff.
I'm not.
Also, there is NO proof for (at the same time none against), so I'm going to go with "It's false unless you can prove it"
