Legends of Equestria - Forum

In a world where there are the most dangerous of storms, only one pony and her comrades can stop them. Join me, Aqua Wish in a very dangerous adventure in trying to stop the most dangerous of storms in order to keep our Equestria safe and to find out where these storms came from. They pop up everywhere unexpectedly and we are the only ones who can try to stop them. We have created a group to find out how these storms appeared. We are Storm Chasers and we never give up! And more importantly, always expect the most unexpected danger.

Starfire waits patiently, looking every now and then at the radar carefully just in case a storm appears. "Hmm..."

Aqua Wish also looks at the radar. " Hmm... it usually doesn't take this long for a storm to appear...but this is good. It means that the storms stopped for now and we can all take a moment to breath.

"We can't put our guard down, you all know what's on the line if a tornado goes rogue," Blaze states with the intensity of a pony who's been doing this.job for a while.  His tone becomes more solemn and depressed as he continues on to say, "We can't rest, we just can't."

"Well, yeah, that's true..." Amber sighed.

Just then, a red dot appeared on the radar and an alarm went off. "There's a tornado headed for Sweet Apple Acres! Lets go. " Aqua Wish used her magic to make a platform of water appear which she used as a type of hover board to float out of S. H. Q.

Blaze hastens out of the building and tells everypony else to do the same.

Amber springs into action and takes flight out of S. H. Q.

Starfire flies quickly out of S. H. Q " This should be another easy one.. " She reassured herself as she saw the tornado in the distance.

Aqua looks at the tornado in the distance. " Well, this seems like it will be a routine mission, so lets talk strategy. Amber, Star, you two will try to get it on a different course; away from Apple Acres. While you two do that, me and Blaze will check to make sure there aren't any stranded ponies here. "

"Got it. " Starfire said as she flew even faster. As she was nearing the tornado, the wind quickly picked up and there was floating debris everywhere.

"Roger that." Amber said as she flew next to Starfire. "Ok, you know what to do so lets do it!" Amber said to her as she flew up above the tornado and dove down right in the middle and began flying in the opposite direction of the tornado, trying to change its direction.

" Woohoo! " Starfire cheered as she flew into the tornado. As both her and Amber flew in the opposite direction, the tornado seemed to slow down a bit. Starfire flew as fast as she could. After a few minutes, the tornado spun in the other direction, away from Apple Acres. Starfire grabbed Amber's hoof and flew out of the tornado. " Ok, we changed its direction. Now we try and stop it! "

" Right! " Amber flew at a safe distance near the bottom of the tornado.

While the two where trying to stop the tornado, Aqua Wish was floating around, making sure nopony was around here. " Ok, nopony is stranded here. Good. " She said to herself as she turned her attention to the tornado and floated towards it.

Blaze leads a group of ponies out of the storm cellar and barn, beginning the evacuation in case something went awry.

As Aqua Wish was floating around, a letter magically appeared into existence in front of her. The letter was written on golden paper and rapped with a red ribbon. As the letter levitated in front of the mare, pink glitter was already falling to the ground. . .

Amber flew around the bottom of the tornado as fast as she could.

Aqua Wish opened the letter and read it, then she announced " Once we are done here, we have to stop by the boss's office!" She floated near the tornado and created a spiral of water, making it go in the opposite direction that Amber was flying in, causing the tornado to distort a bit and loose form.

"Ok!" Starfire said as she flew inside of the tornado, flying in the opposite direction of the water. The tornado became more distorted and shapeless and eventually disappeared, a grey circle spreading everywhere then dispersing. Starfire flew down on the ground. " Woo! Another successful mission! "

Amber flew down next to her. " Eeyup! " She turned to Aqua. " Ok, so, lets go back to S. H. Q. " Amber took flight.

"Yeah, and I'd like to keep it that way," Blaze says threateningly as he rejoins the group. "Safety is the number one concern here, not being a hero by flying right at the tornado."

HOLD YOUR HORSES, there is another letter! Just like before, a letter poofed in front of Aqua Wish! But the sender sent it so fast that it slammed into the mare's face. The letter bounce off Aqua's face and rolled toward StarFire. A trial of glitter followed behind it as it lightly bumped StarFire's hoof.

Aqua rubbed her face and grumbled a bit before picking the letter up and reading it. "....well, looks like I'm getting a latte as well. You guys can go." Aqua Wish floated away.

Starfire chuckled a bit. " Ok, Aqua. Lets go, guys. " Starfire took flight with Amber and flew back to S. H. Q.

The trio made it back to S. H. Q. Amber sat down in a chair and stretched. "Ah, feels good to relax every now and then... "

Blaze goes back to what he normally does when waiting for another blip to appear on the radar, repair and maintain the equipment so that they'll be prepared.

Aqua Wish floated back to S. H. Q. with a hot latte floating next to her. She jumped off of her water platform and walked towards Forty Wink's office.

An announcement was made through out the S. H. Q.
All Storm Chasers working The Sweet Apple Acres Mission, report to my office!~

Starfire got up and followed Aqua Wish to the office.

"Here it comes," Blaze mutters before going the the boss' office.

Amber got up from her chair and walked to the boss' office. She opened the door for all of them and closed it then walked to another chair and sat back down.

A well dress stallion was standing in front of the massive window. His pink eyes lit up as he watch the tree's leafs rustle in the wind. A relaxed sigh slipped as he continued to watch the peaceful side of mother nature. The stallion was well aware of the ponies presence, but decided to enjoy the view a little bit longer. . . . After what felt like a century of silence the stallion asked,
Mr. Winks: Oh, isn't the view amazing darlings? Hard to believe a storm could pop up in a blink of the eye! Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Forty Winks continued to laugh as he made his way toward his desk. As he lowered himself into his seat he continued,
Mr. Winks: Darlings, that last storm run of yours was marvelous! To be honest, no one really thought y'all could do it! Ah Ha Ha Ha! Well, guess who got twenty bits richer? Ah Ho Ho Ho! But, it was sloppy! It was like y'all were just running blindly into the storm! Augh, the thought left a bad taste in my mouth! Nothing like a good Latte can fix! Ah Ho Ho Ho!
Forty Winks let out a hardy laugh as he levitated the Latte from Aqua Wish. The stallion died his laughter down long enough to take a sip of his latte. A happy sigh filled the room as he got lost in a caramel world. . .  That trip didn't last long; he had to appear like a professional stallion. As he cleared his through he continued,
Mr. Winks :Really, Storm Chasing isn't just about chasing storms! Its an art! Elegance, Passion, Determination and much more go into this! . . .
. . . . . . .
Although your work was sloppy, the job was done! Which is a win in my book! Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha! So, let's get to the chase! I called you guys down because. . . You are rising up in the ranks of this organization! YAY! That tornado was really not meant to get to y'all! A hiccup in our system. . . Oopsie!~ That was a Drizzle Rank Mission, so maybe that is why y'all were sloppy. . . Any who, Y'ALL have a chance to rise from the lowest rank, Clear Skies, to Partly Cloudy! Oh, isn't this exciting!? New missions, new gadgets, new. . . Attitude! Ah Ha Ha Ha, keep up with your radar business and I'll call you back when your Rank Mission is ready! Till then, Have A Sunny Day Darlings!~
Forty Winks chuckled as he waved off the young group of Storm Chasers. He then turned his chair around as he continued to sip at his latte.

Aqua Wish had a wide smile on her face. " Well, this is exciting, isn't it?" She had finally said after a moment of silence. " We get to go on new missions, we get new stuff and we moved up in the ranks!" Aqua jumped up a little in excitement as her smile grew wider. She jumped onto her water board and floated over to the radar.

Once Aqua Wish got to the radar, the message icon was flashing. The icon was shaped like Forty Winks face with a letter in his mouth. . .

Aqua made a subtle o.O face before pressing the icon to see what the message was.

Starfire was jumping around excitedly. " Aww yeah! We get new cool stuff and we are higher in the ranks. I consider this an unqualified success if I do say so myself!  " Starfire gave a wide smile and flew around.

The Stallion let out a laugh at the StareFire's excitement; he loved enthusiasm in his workers! As he took a sip of his Latte he said,
Mr. Winks: Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha! That's the spirit darling! Now go out there and make the Storm Head Quarters proud! Oh Ho Ho Ho!~
He waved off the remaining ponies in his office as he started to work on some paperwork.

A shower of confetti fell from the sky as soon as she opened the message. . . Also a rather heavy box fell onto her lap. Once the rain of confetti died down, the message was displayed on the screen!

Aqua Wish gave a happy laugh. " Guys, I have some awesome news!" She held the box up. " I just got a message from our advisor, and guess what? We have these!" Aqua Wish reached into the box and pulled out one of the S.H.Q gadgets. She passed them to the three and took out her own. " There is a flash flood in a town near Ponyville and the locations are in these gadgets. There could be ten or more survivors there, so lets go!" Aqua Wish floated out of S. H. Q.

Blaze took the communications device without much word, and follows Aqua as best he can from the ground.

Starfire took a moment to admire the new gadget before flying out of S. H. Q. and following Aqua.

Amber follows the three. " Ok, so were dealing with a flash flood and ten or more survivors to rescue? Eh, sounds easy enough." She gave a confident smile.

"Yup." Starfire said as she flew next to her. "So, lets look at the location, shall we?" It took Starfire a few minutes to turn the new gadget on, but she figured it out. "Hm... we are getting close to the town. "

As the group got closer and closer to the site, their S. Q. H. Gadgets started to beep loudly. The wind carried a smell of mud and despair to great the group as they entered the small town. Houses and shops were submerged in muddy water. The water was full of debris from destroyed houses. . . . . The flood was still going on and the current was too fast for the team to handle. . .
A small cry could be heard from one of the ruined houses. As that cry pierced the air, many other cries followed. The team will have to act fast and stick to the given assignment!

Aqua Wish quickly went over to where the cries where coming from. She saw some of the survivors and expanded her water platform for them to get on. "Starfire, Amber, see if there are anymore survivors anywhere. We have to act fast! " She looked at the survivors. "Don't worry, guys. You all are in safe hooves. " She reassured them.

" Ok. Amber, lets go! " Starfire flew around, seeing if anypony else was stranded. " Amber, do you see anypony? "

The fast currents were putting pressure on the older buildings in the town. From time to time, the crew would hear sounds of wood giving out or see buildings swing. Keep a close eye on them, you don't want a building to fall in the flood and cause a massive wave!

As soon as the survivors where on the platform, Aqua Wish floated them to safety. " Here, you ponies stay here. Blaze will help you ponies, ok? " Aqua Wish floated back to where Amber and Starfire where. " We have to hurry. We only found two ponies! And these buildings don't look like they can stay up much longer!"

Blaze sighs at his lack luster post, and mumbles to himself a bit as he helps the ponies get to safety. 

Starfire flew over to a building where she saw three ponies. " I found more ponies! " Starfire said as she carried one to safety.

Aqua Wish put the other two ponies onto the water platform and carried them to safety as well. " Ok, good. Now lets keep looking! " Aqua Wish floated around, looking at a building that looked like it could fall any second. " We have to hurry!"

A loud snap could be heard in the distance. One of the buildings will be falling in the next post! Keep your eyes peeled!

" This is just great!" Starfire yelled when she heard the snap.

" Ah, quit your complaining! We have ponies to save!" Amber flew over to what was left of a building and saw two more ponies on the roof. She flew over to them and carried one to safety.

Hearing the sound of support beams weaning, Blaze could practically see the cracks forming in a larger building near him. Blaze closes his eyes for a moment before dashing towards the building and throwing his weight against the tilted wall. "We need to secure this building, stat!" he screams to his companions as he fights an uphill battle to keep the building from toppling over.

Amber flew over to the building and put her front hooves on it. She then tried to push the building.

Starfire flew over to the support beams and tried to secure it. "Aqua, maybe your water can hold this building up!"

Aqua used her water platform and split it into several large beams which she used to support the building as best as she could.

The building creaked and cracked as the pressure of the current. As the building finally gave out! While the current and the group fought for the building, a small cry could be heard from inside!

" I hear somepony inside! I'm going in! " Aqua Wish ran into the building.

"Be careful, this building will collapse any second now!"

Aqua Wish looked around, trying to find the pony. She eventually found the pony in a corner. She picked the pony up and ran towards the door.

Time stood still for a brief moment. . . The crews effort to keep the building up has failed. . . Slowly the building started to tumble in the muddy river. Lucky for the crew, the building wasn't too big and the wave wasn't too devastating. Only a few buildings were washed away. . . 
. . . . .
BUT NOW THE BUILDING IS SINKING INTO THE RIVER! The door the mare tried to escape from was now under water! Lucky for her, there is a roof access! But she must act quick, who knows how long it will take for the building to fill with water!

Aqua quickly reacted to the new situation and used her magic to create a water board to float up to the roof access and out of the building as quick as she could.

As Aqua and the survivor made it out safely, the building was washed away by the current. The survivor wasn't just any ordinary pony, he is the mayor of the town! The mayor tells Aqua how many ponies are left in the town! Even though the number of survivors is revealed, a few will be found in the process of the bonus quest! Speaking of Bonus Quest. . .
. . .
The bell of a school could be heard in the distance. As the wave from the falling building reached the School, the windows of the building shattered. The building slowly started to sink, making small waves form in the fast current. Within the building, two school ponies are trapped in the boys bathroom! The crew will have to keep the building from sinking if they want to safely get the ponies out of there!

Aqua Wish heard the bell and saw the school building start to sink " Oh no. Lets hurry! Come on, crew!" Aqua Wish ran across the water towards the school.

As the others rushed towards the school, nearby, a pony had become stuck on a tree, his long jacket had become stuck on a rather large branch, and he was hanging helplessly between the tree and the raging waters.

"Stupid...jacket! I'm supposed to be--ugh! This is what I get for wearing this on a constant basis..."

Starfire saw the stuck pony and flew up to him. She got his jacket free from the branch and carried him to safety. She then followed Aqua Wish to the school.

"Saved by a kid...pretty sure this ranks up on my top ten most embarrassing moments..." Boa reaches for his saddlebags, only to realize they weren't on him. He frantically began to look around when he saw them, they had been washed away, and were hanging for dear life on a piece of debris.

Boa could not let those bags be washed away, for the contents inside he needed dearly. "Heh...they aren't that far away, nothing a teleport can't fix." Boa pressed down on his belt, and with a flash, teleported from his spot...only to reappear only an inch away from his original location. His confident look immediately faded when he realized he didn't move an inch.

"...Oh dear." He looked down at his belt, opening it. Inside, was a small piece of paper. It was supposed to have a magical rune written on it, allowing him to cast the spell, but the belt had become completely flooded with water, and the paper was destroyed. "That is not good."

Amber saw the pony having teleportation problems so she flew over to him and quickly carried him back to safety then she followed Aqua and Starfire. As soon as she was close to the school, she ran through a window and ran through the school, listening to the school ponies' voices to find out where they are.

The halls were flooded with water up to Amber's neck. School supplies and lockers were floating lazily above the water The only sound was coming from the water rushing into the building. . .

The school building started to sink faster; if the crew had little time to save the building for the sake of Amber and the school ponies. Near the bell of the school was a teacher who was holding on for dear life. A few high pitch screams came from her as the building started to plunge into the water.

((The next post will reveal if y'all saved the building or not!))

Aqua heard the scream and floated up to the bell on a wave of water. " Don't worry, ma'am." She carried the mare and floated down to safety and put the mare down. She then went back to the school and followed Amber.

Starfire was in the building and eventually found the boys' bathroom where she heard the trapped ponies. She then started trying to kick the door down.

Aqua Wish helped get the door down and carried one of the ponies back out of the building as fast as she could.

Starfire carried the other pony and followed Aqua Wish. " Phew, we made it just in time!" She lowered the pony down and landed. " But we have other ponies to save!" She stood for a minute to regain energy then took flight above the flood again.

A large snap echo through the halls. A large crack started to form in the middle of the building; the building is caving in. Water started to rush faster into the building. The building crocked one last time as the foundation gave out. . .

Aqua saw the building start to collapse. "oh no..." Aqua Wish waited for the worse to happen.... but the building didn't collapse surprisingly. Aqua Wish sighed in relief after a few minutes. " Oh thank Celestia... the building is fine..."

Boa heard the sound of the school building beginning to collapse. He wanted to rush over and help, but without those Saddlebags he was completely useless. He looked around, trying to find the best path to reach his bags. From where he was dropped off, there was a small path of rooftops he could take to reach them.

'Gonna take a little bit of legwork, it seems.' He thought. He smiled, it was a while since he got himself into a dangerous situation. 'One missed jump and I'm gonna be swimming. Gotta make 'em count.' He began running as fast as he could, and jumped to the first building. He kept up his speed and jumped to the second building, and the third. The final building, however, was just too far for him to make the final jump.

He had to come up with an idea. Those bags of his were about to be lost to the flood.

All Survivors have been rescued! The Leader S. H. Q. Gadget can send a signal back to H. Q. to come and pick up the Survivors. In the mean time, the crew should go and make sure all the ponies are okay!

Aqua Wish looked around one last time. " Ok, I think we rescued everypony. Let's make sure the ponies are ok and head back to S. H. Q." Aqua Wish made sure that all of the ponies rescued where safe. Then she sent a signal to H.Q to get them.

"Good," Blaze states simply as he begins walking back to HQ.

"We did an awesome job today, guys!" Starfire says as she flies back to H.Q.

Two light blue helicopter with Forty Winks' cutie mark painted on the side could been seen from a the distance. A team of S. H. Q. Rescue Works helped get all the survivors safely on board. Forty Winks decided to join the Rescue Team; he wanted to see how well the crew did. He was wearing a bright yellow rain coat and red rain boots. He stood on the platform that the Clear Skies crew made and smiled with approval. As he was scanning the area, in case anymore survivors, when he noticed a stallion jumping from building to building. A worker asked Forty Winks if they should go and help the stallion, but Mr. Winks waved them off. With a smile, he order the crew to go back while he stays and watch to see what the stallion would do next.

Once the crew returned to H. Q., the message icon was flashing on Aqua Wish's assigned radar. A little yellow box was placed on her chair, along with a few bottles of water.

*Darkness had been flying around for hours then she crashes into Starfire after kicking a cloud then her face was like* 0:) :D

Aqua Wish returned to her radar. She looked at the yellow box and picked it up. " Now what is this...?" She asked herself as she examined the box.

Starfire was about to return to her seat, but was caught off guard by a pony who crashed into her. "Oof! Hey! What's the big idea??" She asked, and sounding very irritated, she pushed the pony off of her. "And who are you?"

Inside the box was. . . A bunch of no-bake cookies! A golden note was also in the box too.

*Darkness stood up and solitude since her father is part of the royal guard (Forgot to mention that she was a batpony)*
I am Darkness Flash, the fastest batpony in Equestria.......*Flash's eyes get huge and she flys around Starfire* OMG YOUR STARFIRE I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH

" Umm... wait, what?" Starfire sounded confused, watching the bat pony fly around. " :s "

*Darkness lands in front of her*
Well, for all of history batponies have been unwelcome in weather programs, so we read about the flyers and magic users. Well, you are my role model Star, and thanks to you have have made bat history because I am now a member of the Aqua Crew!!!

Boa turned to see the survivors getting rescued and flown out. However, one of them decided to stay, and had been watching Boa. He stood there for a few seconds, watching the pony, when he noticed a large piece of debris floating through the water, large enough to hold him. He smiled. "So...you wanna see a show, eh?" He broke into a run, timing his jump with the debris. He landed on the large piece of wood, and maintained his balance as it moved through the water.

Boa used a combination of his body and his magic to keep the debris stabilized as the water crashed into it. Boa sped down the flooded town, his saddlebags coming into view. He pulled the saddlebags off of the piece of debris it had been hanging on, and looked at them with a smile on his face. As he looked up, however...he let out a startling scream as he quickly realized that the large piece of wood he was on was about to collide with a building.


"Well...the best laid plans..."

Aqua Wish had gone around, passing the cookies to everypony. She passed one to Darkness and smiled. " Well, welcome, Darkness, to the Aqua Crew! My name is Aqua Wish!"

*Darkness is so happy at the moment that she has gotten to meet her role model* OMG I GET COOKIES TOO!!!!! BEST DAY EVER

" Awesome! Cookies! We deserve this. " Starfire said as she ate the cookie, savoring the taste "Mmm...cookie..."

Amber had fallen asleep in a chair, so the cookie just fell in her lap.

*Darkness put the cookie in her bag and she has a smile on her face as she yawns* Well I better go find where I have to sleep before I pass out on a cloud. *Darkness flies away to the sleeping quarters*

Mr.Winks smiled as used his magic to form a chair with the ruble. He watched the stranger in silence as he made his way through the abandoned town. The stallion gasped in delight as the stranger used the board to surf through the murky water. This was the type of work he likes to see: style, grace, speed and charm! His gasp of delight quickly turned into a gasp of fear; the stranger was about to collide with a building! If he were to fall in the water, there is no way he could survive. . . Lucky for the stallion Mr.Winks is a high rank Storm Chaser. Placed a hoof on his check as he let out a laugh.
Mr.Winks: Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho! Such grace and speed! Too bad you have no sense of direction! Oh Ho Ho Ho!~
As he spoke, the stallion used his magic to gently slow down the board the stranger was standing on. He then forced it to move toward a pile of debris that the stranger could easily get on.
Mr.Winks: Don't mind me, Darling! Just try to keep your head above the water! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho!~

Starfire had eaten the cookie and yawned then stretched her wings.

*Darkness sees she gets to share a room with Starfire and wants to freak out, instead see goes to the side of the room that is empty and starts to unpack*

Amber had woken up. " Huh, what?" She said in a daze. She looked down and saw the cookie. " Ooh, cookie!" She quickly ate the cookie and got up from her seat.

Boa watched as the board was moved, turning back towards the other pony and what he said. He couldn't help but smile. He jumped off onto the pile of debris, and turned towards the pony. "I'm afraid you've caught me at a bit of a disadvantage. Many of my tools got damaged in this flood."

He laughed. "Otherwise, you would have seen a more...graceful finish."

*Darkness goes to bed in her room hoping that Starfire will greet her in the morning*

Mr.WinksOoooooO!~ Sounds delightful! I would love to hear more about your fancy gadgets!~
The stallion said as he reached into his pocket. Pulling out a business card, he levitated it toward the stallion. With a smile he added,
Mr.WinksStop by my office whenever, darling! The organization could use a stallion like you!  . . . If your fancy gadgets are fancy! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho! Well, I must get going! I am a very busy stallion! Have A Sunny Day, Darling~
The stallion let out a few chuckles as he pulled out a silver card. He allowed the card to fall to the ground as his smile grew bigger. The card bounce off the ground and transformed into a hoover board. Gracefully, he jumped onto the board and started to balance himself. He turned and gave the stallion a wave good bye before heading off toward the S. H. Q.

Boa let out a whistle. "Gotta get my hands on that one." He looked at the card given to him. "Storm Chasers, eh? Sounds like they'd be right up my alley." Looking around, he made a careful jump onto a larger building. "Going to need some repairs done on my belt before then. Now...how to get out of this mess I'm in?"

He looked around for the safest path. He began hopping from building to building until he reached a small spot where he could jump onto dry land. Catching his breath, he wiped a bit of sweat from his forehead. As he catches his breath, he lets out a laugh. "Ah...I miss the old days. I miss being in these kind of dangerous situations."

He stands up, looking at the card once more. "Right then. Repairs first, then we're going to say hello to these dangerous ponies..."

Aqua Wish grabbed a bottle of water and sat down, still looking at the radar just in case.

*Darkness couldn't sleep so she went outside to fly around a bit*

Boa sighed. "The train will probably be out until this whole mess gets cleaned up. Guess I'm hoofing it to Canterlot."

*Darkness sees Boa and flys to him* You need a ride, I can help with that! I might be a batpony but I don't bite. 0:)

Aqua sat there for a while and figured that no other storm would be appearing. She got up and decided to turn in for the night.

( Next Day)

The next day, Aqua was already up early and was looking at the radar again. 

Boa smiles. "I'd appreciate that."

(Then next day, I guess. Kinda wanted to do a little more RP, but hey.)

(( I'm sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt y'all! ))

(Its fine, lol.)

*Darkness wakes up next to Boa and she blushes then flys away*

The next day, Amber was sitting next to Aqua Wish... but was asleep in her chair and by the way she was snoring, she obviously didn't have a good night's sleep.

*Darkness goes into the radar room and wakes up Amber* Everypony fell asleep did anything happen last night

Starfire flew next to Aqua Wish. " No, I don't think anything happened last night... well, to my knowledge. So, Aqua, any storms appear yet? " She asked, looking at the radar.

*Darkness is still blushing a bit about how she woke up* Did anypony stay up last night

" I did. I don't think anything out of the ordinary... happened..." Amber faceplanted the floor, a faint snore could be heard from her.

Aqua Wish sighed and used her magic to splash some water on Amber, causing her to wake back up. " Nope, I don't see any storms yet... hm... "

*Darkness then calmed down and used a breathing technique to make sure she stays calm* Ok..... does Amber always sleep

Starfire stared at Darkness for a minute, noticing how she was breathing. " Um, Darkness, are you ok?"

Aqua Wish had her eyes glued onto the radar screen. What was going on? A storm usually pops up within a few minutes but it never took this long...

Yeah, I'm fine, but I don't think Aqua is.....

Boa had just woken up to the sight of the mare who had helped him get back home flying out of his bedroom. Still half asleep the realization dawns on him that she had spent the night in his home. Boa fell back onto his bed, looking at the now empty side of his bed. A look of sadness fills him as he remembers an old friend.

Closing his eyes, and letting out a small sigh, he pushes himself out of bed and gets ready, taking a quick shower before getting dressed in his usual outfit. He straps on his saddlebags and walks out of his room. Reaching into his bags, he looks back at the card he received from that pony yesterday.


As he recalls the events that had happened last night, Boa soon finds himself in front of a store. It was a large, green and black store, on the top, a massive emblem of a Silver Snake eating its own tail was displayed on the outside. This was Boa's shop. The Silver Ouroboros. Boa walked in, using a key to unlock the door. As he stepped in, the room was filled with multiple magical lights, illuminating the room, showing off all kinds of wands, rings, bracelets, enchanted armor, potions, you name it. He walked over towards the counter, setting his belt down and opening it up. He took out the destroyed piece of paper, and pulled out a fresh piece of paper and some ink. It would be awhile before he could go and meet these Storm Chasers, he had to make sure everything of his was fixed.

Amber looked at the screen. " Um, Aqua, are you ok? Is something wrong?"

*Darkness flys outside and goes to a store s she walks inside she sees the stallion Boa whom she had helped get home, whime blushing Darkness walked inside to see if they had any apples on the shelves*

Boa looks up, seeing the mare who helped him. He smiles and gives a quick wave, before going back to his work.

Aqua sighed in frustration " No, everything is [I]not[/I] ok. It doesn't usually take this long for a storm to show up. I mean, that could be a good thing, but it's kind of strange..."

*Darkness smiles a bit then she finds a nice and big apple and puts it up to the counter to buy*

Mr.Winks gracefully walked down the steps of the organization. He was wearing a white sweater with a lab coat over it. His favourite latte was levitating in front of him as he checked on the other Storm Chasers. Once he got to Aqua and her crew he bubbly said,
Mr.Winks: Mornin' Darlings!~ How are y'all this fine mornin'? Let me tell you, I just got those new cloud mattreses and I could barely get myself out of bed! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho!
His laughter died down as he saw Aqua. She looked extremely tired and frustrated. Tilting his head he said in a concern tone,
Mr.Winks: Darling I don't want to sound rude. . . But your bags under your eyes have bags of their own! Whats wrong, darling?

*After buying the apple she puts it in her bag throws 10 bits on the counter ad flies to the radar room where she sees the boss and Darkness gets a bit nervous*

Boa watches her fly off, he sighs and goes back to his work.

((I assume I can just pop in, I'm not sure where exactly to be though, so I will wing it!))

Raven Star, as usual, roams around the inside of Storm Headquarters. Being as young as he is, he's a whiz with technological problems and the like, alongside applying logic and reasoning to much of the unknown, making him well at home on the team. That, and of course his interest in weather itself.

He trots into the room with the Weather Radar System that's set up.

"Good day fine fellows, is anything going on in the homeland?" He inquires, the natural tinge of a British-Russian((whatever it would be in Equestria, more for reference than anything else)) blended accent in his otherwise relatively-normal Equestrian Tongue.

*When she flew away a note fell from her bag and and it flew from the counter, it was a note from Darkness's father*

Boa just notices a small note on the floor, using his natural magic, he levitates it back up onto the counter. "She must have dropped this."

He pockets it, making sure to return it to her the next time he saw her. Boa returns to his work, once again.

Aqua sighed " I have been looking at this radar for quite a few minutes now and I see no storm alarms going off on it." She simply stated as she leaned back in her seat, rubbing her forehead.

"Hm..how long has it been since last we had a storm? Seems like it's been a hot minute," He asks, yawning.

" Well, yesterday we had a flash flood. I would expect that today we would have another storm..."

"Ah, water. I always have enjoyed a good little swim. How about you?" He asks her.

"Well, I have always been up for a good swim just as long as the water isn't dirty and has debris in it..." She sighed again as she rubbed her eyes and continued watching the radar screen.

Amber had fallen asleep yet again, faceplanted on the floor.

"I bet so, since I know how you are about your mane," Raven teases, rolling his eyes and chuckling, getting some dirt from one of the vials on him and putting it it into her mane.

Aqua sighed then let out a small scream when she noticed the dirt in her mane. She frantically wiped the dirt off " You know I absolutely [I]hate[I] dirt! " She said, looking at Raven.

"That's why I did it," He says, sticking his tongue out and booping her nose.

Starfire nudged Amber with her hoof " Amber? ....Amber, wake up."

Aqua couldn't help but smile a bit before splashing some water on Amber again, waking her up. " Amber, did you stay up the [I]whole[/I] night?"

Mr.Winks continued his way through H.Q. Aqua and her friends were too busy messing around, and he had other teams to go check on.

"Well, I just couldn't fall asleep... maybe its the mattress or something... I dunno..." She gave a lazy shrug before dozing back to sleep again.

"What's wrong with sleepy-head? Stay up a bit too late?" He inquires, finding it humorous the method used to wake the sleeping pony. He also brushes off Aqua's mane, as there was some leftover dirt.

Aqua Wish laughed a bit and splashed Amber with water yet again.

Once his morning routine was over, he head back toward his office. Once he reached his office, he noticed that there were more clouds than usual. . . With a smile, he slowly made his way toward the window. Even though today had some early storm, it was looking fine from the view of his office. As he stared off into the world, his mind slipped onto the idea of the stranger from yesterday. With a chuckle he said out loud to himself,
Mr.Winks: Hmmmm~ I wonder when that stranger will stop by! I know a few ponies here who would love to see some new gadgets. . . Who knows, maybe his other wooden board is in the shop! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho~!
His laughter echo through the office as he started to make his way to his desk. Once he sat down, he picked up a few files on his desk and started to look over yesterday's reports.

Amber jolted awake again and wiped the water off of her face. " I think I'm going to take a short nap..." Amber said through yawns as she walked out of the room.

After Amber had left, Raven turns his attention to Starfire.

"Hello to you as well Star, how are you this clear day?" He asks.

*Darkness walks out of the radar room slowly, she still seems extremely nervous and scared after seeing that boss, hoping that the boss doesn't notice her, Darkness opens her wings slowly, so she can keep balance, as she hears the creaking sound of the door her fear grows, she understands that she wanted to do the job, just she never thought the boss visits everypony, then at that moment she feels that somepony is looking at her, she freezes with fear waiting for that pony to talk*

" I'm doing alright. How are you?" Starfire replied.

Aqua Wish had fallen asleep in her chair, snoring softly.

"Can do," Raven replies, resuming his lonely thinking. For some time now he's thought about some feelings that have come up for a certain sleeping pony nearby, yet deciding to ignore them, for everyone's sake. Doing so has led to him becoming distracted though, throughout the group's travels and discussions alike.

Aqua Wish woke up and sat up in her chair, going back to staring at the radar screen.

"You seem like you're tired as well, did you get enough sleep?" Raven asks Aqua, a bit concerned.

Though there were no Clear Skies Rank missions being sent to the crew's radar, this gave the group a chance to organize. Like Mr. Winks said before, the group was sloppy on their mission. So to stay on the good side of Mr. Winks, the crew should assign roles; who enters buildings, who saves survivors, who is will be the leader once their mission rank is a success, and much more. Communication and listening is key to successful missions and a happy boss.

Finally, Boa had finished his repairs on his belt, a new piece of paper with a fresh magical rune written on it, he carefully placed it within the inside of the custom-made buckle and closed it, watching as the belt began to glow with magical energies. He smiled at his work. Strapping on his belt, as well as adjusting the rest of his outfit, he was ready.

But...not without a few last minute preparations. He turned around to a closet, behind it, was a faint glow. "I'm going to need to change up my devices, not going to be needing much offense where I'm going, I assume. A support set-up will be perfect."

Boa chose to keep his cartridges of Admonishing Ray, Arcane Eye, Water Breathing, and Ant Haul. But took out the rest. He opened up the closet, revealing hundreds upon hundreds of cartridges, each with their own unique color. He put the remainder of the cartridges from his saddlebags into the closet, while pulling out several new ones.

"Lets see, Mighty Strength, that'll work well with Ant Haul. Stoneskin is a good choice as well, and Haste will be perfect." He put the three new cartridges into his bags, but he was not finished yet, opening up a drawer in his counter, revealing numerous wands, he pulled out a set of wands. "Lets see, Mending will definitely be an asset, and we can't go wrong with a whole set of healing spells."

Boa put all the wands into the bags, and closed everything up. He then sent a letter, using a candle of Dragon Fire, to a friend to watch the store while he checked out these Storm Chasers.


It took him awhile, between asking around and many, many detours, but Boa eventually found himself in front of the headquarters of the Storm Chasers.

As the last report was being read over, Mr. Winks got a message that a stallion was approaching the Head Quarters. A large smile formed across his face as he rolled his chair over toward his monitor. His eyes lit up as he saw that the approaching stallion was the stranger from yesterday. Laughter filled his office as sent the clearance message for the stallion to enter. While he waited for the stallion to make his way toward his office, Mr.Winks rolled back to his desk and tried his best to look more professional than excited.

A few minutes past before a mare made her way toward Boa. The mare was wearing industrial goggles and had a gas mask dangling from her neck. Her mane was pastel orange colour and was gelled to stick up. The mare was rounder than the average mare which,between her round face and hair, made her look like an onion. Her bleach blond coat also didn't help her not look like a onion. Regardless of her looks, she wore a big smile. The mare bubbly she greeted the stallion,
???: Hello stranger! Welcome to The Storm Head Quarters! I am not sure why you are here, but Mr. Winks requested that someone escort you to his office!. . . . He he he he. . . Just to um. . . Make me less paranoid. . . Mind telling me your name, stranger?

Boa smiled. "The name is Boa. As for why I'm here? Lets just say your boss is one interesting fellow. Between him and the work you folks did down near Ponyville, I couldn't help but check this place out."

Diurnal Course: Neato, The name's Diurnal Course! Oh yes, he has a ton of. . . Character. . . Ah Ha Ha Ha! Don't tell him I said that. . . Any ways, I'm glad you took a shine to our origination! Our doors are always opened to new comers! If you just follow me, I'll take you to his office!
The mare gave him a confident smile before turning toward the building. She walked ahead of the stallion, but not too fast. The duo would have to walk through the lobby, then take the elevator in the radar room to reach Mr. Winks. As the two made their way through the lobby she asked,
lightSalmon: So I know why you are here. . . Any idea why Mr. Winks is excited to see you?

Boa let out a quiet laughter. "We just had a small exchange of words."

That wasn't an answer she wanted to hear. Mr.Winks might be the brain of this origination, but that doesn't mean he had one. But it wasn't her place to question Mr.Winks, there was always something more to him than he leads on. As the two started to make their way through the radar room she said,
[B]Diurnal Course: [/b]So here is the radar room! Sort of like cubicles for our lower rank Members! The higher rank crews are station on . . .  Higher floors! Easier to tell who is who and stuff! But these are for Storm Chasers. Other gals and gents who don't chase storms go somewhere else! So, do you actually plan on joining or you just want to chat with Mr.Winks?

"Oh, don't worry. I have every intention of joining."


Boa looks around the room he was shown, taking in the sights. He was liking what he was seeing, he was even more excited to really see these Storm Chasers in action.

*Darkness realized she was over reacting and so she stayed in the radar room, she decided to watch the radar while everypony was sleeping or doing their own thing, Darkness had looked at the radar and was confused, she noticed it was picking up clouds, but they weren't rain clouds, she had wanted to tell everypony since she knew something was wrong, but she still knew that she was the rookie and couldn't bug anypony just because of something that small, Darkness also thought that if something was wrong Aqua would of fixed it by now, so she looks at the radar and continues to wait, Darkness also doesn't car if Aqua was awake, she just felt like being useful* 

The mare smiled as she walked the stallion toward the elevator. As she opened the elevator for him she said,
Diurnal Course: Glad to hear that! I'm sure if your conversation with Mr.Winks goes well, he will quickly get you into the system. Okay, this is as far as I can take you! Sorry, I got a lot of work to catch up on. Just click the button with Mr.Winks cutie mark on it, and it'll send you straight to his office! Take care and Have A Sunny Day~
She gave Boa one more beaming smile before starting to make her way through the radar room. The mare hadn't seen her appointed crew members yet, and would like to see how Aqua and her friends were doing.

Aqua Wish eventually caught up with Starfire. " Starfire, I'm going to have a meeting with everypony to discuss some things. Gather everypony from the Aqua Crew and come to the meeting room, if you please." She walked into the meeting room.

"Yeah, ok." Starfire walked towards the sleeping quarters to look for Amber first.

"Hello again my fair mare, just setting up the room," Raven states, putting copies of the previous Storm's File on everypony's respective seats.

"Ok" Aqua said, sitting down in a teal colored chair.

Amber was so tired that she fell asleep in front of the door to her room. After a while, she finally woke up, wondering how she got on the floor in the first place. She got up from the floor and yawned, still kind of tired.

Starfire saw the sleepy looking Amber and walked up to her. " Hello, sleepy head. Aqua wants us all for a meeting, so look alive and come to the meeting room." Starfire said with a wide smile.

As they sit, Raven looks distracted and a bit antsy, looking at Aqua at times then looking away, staying silent.

Aqua noticed Raven's nervous expressions, so she decided to say something. "Um, Raven, are you alright?"

Snapped out of his thoughts by the one who is the topic of his thoughts, he shakes as though shocked.

"Y-yeah, just thinking to myself about some things," He responds.

"Oh, ok." Aqua said, smiling slightly.

Starfire had told everypony else about the meeting. She flew to the meeting room herself and sat down in an orange chair just as Raven asked the question. So she decided to answer it. "Well, if there weren't so many storms, I would be carefree, soaring across the sky and doing whatever I please." Starfire smiled to herself at the thought.

"Well, I would be running across the ocean waves, breathing in the fresh salt air, going to wherever the waves take me..." Aqua smiled for a minute but then sighed. "...but of course, I am only dreaming about doing so..."

Amber thought for a minute, then shrugged. "I'm not really sure about what I would do if I had the chance to do anything other than storm chasing..."

Boa took a deep breath, it only dawned on him now that he was nervous. A smile formed on his face as his nervousness was replaced with excitement. It had been a long time since he had felt like this. Stepping into the elevator, he pressed the button that led him to Mr. Winks' office. As the elevator began to move, Boa took another deep breath.

"Lets make a good second impression.

Starfire leaned back in her seat, moving from side to side in it. Eventually, she ended up spinning around in the chair, standing in it.

Amber saw Starfire spinning around in her chair, so she decided to join her, spinning around in her own chair. "Wheee!"

Aqua smiled again, but her smile quickly vanished when she saw Amber and Starfire clowning around in their chairs. " Amber! Starfire! Stop spinning in your chairs!" A wave of water suddenly washed over them, sitting them back down.

A message was waiting for Aqua Wish once the crew's meeting is done.

"Brutal but effective my dear," Raven says, chuckling.

Mr. Winks was looking over the on going storms on his radar. A little light lit up on his radar; indicating someone is coming up to his office. A large smile formed across his face; the stallion finally arrive. A few chuckles escaped as he continued to work on the radar. He was a bit behind and wanted to hurry up before his company arrives.

The doors opened, and Boa entered the room, walking into Mr. Winks office. Boa smiled.

"I have to say, this place of yours is pretty amazing. Blows my old set-up right out of the water."

Boa walks closer, extending his hoof for a shake. "I suppose I should properly introduce myself. The name is Captain Boa, Artificer Extraordinaire."

"What shall I be doing then?" Raven inquires.

*Darkness didn't hear that right away, as soon as she heard about the meeting, she zoomed out of the radar room, Darkness then spread her wings and flew to where she saw Aqua, leaving her special speed trail behind her, she crashed, and laughed nervously afterwards, knowing that Aqua noticed her and all*

Mr. Winks was still glued to the radar. Even though he had company, he had a job to do. His excitement for the stranger seeped through his smile. As he checked the status of a storm he exclaimed,
Mr. WinksOh I hope it would beat the rest, I put a lot of money into this.place! Oh Ho Ho Ho! Its nice to have you here darling!~
He turned his chair around to see Boa again. As he shook the stallions hoof he continued,
Mr. Winks: Oh my, a captain and an Artificer? How lovely!~ I suppose I should be professional and give my introduction! I am Forty Winks, president of this organization! Okay, I am already bored talking about me! Oh Ho Ho Ho! Let's talk about something more interesting! Like you and your fancy gadgets!~
The stallion continued to laugh as he made his way toward his work station. He would like to discuss things over his desk, but Boa might have gadgets that wouldn't fit on it.

*Darkness had just been completely embarrassed, so she got up very slowly, and she spread her wings as she got up. After her wings were spread, she got into flying position and took off. Darkness honestly didn't want to go back to the radar room, but she did so anyway,forgetting that she left her bag by the crash , she opened the door, ignoring the past event, she went to a chair and sat down. Surprisingly Darkness saw a phone by the radar, she assumed nopony ever used it. Darkness then turned around to look at a different radar,she saw a window and looked out it, seeing the crash site, she sits down and she keeps her eyes on the radar in front of her*

Diurnal Course picked up the life size cut out of Mr. Winks. Mr. Winks thought it would motivate the others to work. . . . All it did was make the others more nervous, but no one wanted to break the news to him. The mare decided to move it to the lobby and come up with an excuse later. As she was making her way through the radar room, she noticed the new mare in Aqua's group. The mare smiled and decided to great the new pony. Once she made it to Darkness she said,
Diurnal Course: Howdy! You must be the new mare, right? I'm Diurnal Course, also I am your groups Advisor. Glad to meet you partner!

*Darkness smiles a bit* Yeah, I am the rookie, I um.........*realizing `that this pony didn't see the crash, she decides to ask what is wrong with the radar* Hey, um well, I don't think the radar is suppose to be picking up, well, clouds with no rain. Mostly I can see stratus clouds here, but they have all 0% chance of rain, and in training, the trainer said that, well, it isn't suppose to do that......... Is the radar broken?

Diurnal was surprised to hear what the mare had to say. She took a look at the radar to see what is up. As the mare tested a few buttons she said,
Diurnal Course: Your instructor was right, this isn't suppose to happen. But, it does happen if we believe those clouds are potential threats. So, keep a close eye on those clouds girly!
.  . . .
Well, as far as I can see everything looks like it should be working! Your crew should still be able to pick up storms on the radar!
Oh hey, I see my message! Doesn't look like Aqua opened it yet. . .
Wait, where is the crew? They didn't go on a run without permission, right?

*Darkness laughs nervously* Well they said something about a um..... meeting...... I um tried rushing there................ but I crashed so I cam back here........... I don't know if they are still there though.............. *Looks for her bag and can't find it*

The mare gave Darkness a confident smile before heading off with the cut out. Just before she left the radar room she said,
Diurnal Course : Oh and Darkness, Mr. Winks would like to see you AFTER today's mission!
The mare smiled one last time before entering the lobby.

*Darkness took the mares advise, she had gotten out of the chair and walked to the door, she opened it slowly and started to fly, she had went to the crash and found her bag, she picked it up and walked quietly into the meeting, she sat in the empty chair for her and waited until somepony noticed her, then she started to wonder about the mission*

"I suppose I can show them off. Although they might on be as spectacular as that card of yours." Boa raises his hoof, pointing at his belt. On the surface, it seemed just like a normal belt.

"This is one of my...gadgets that were damaged by the flood. It may seem like a simple belt, but inside the buckle is a small sheet of paper with a magical rune."

Boa stepped back and looks around for a few seconds, taking in his surroundings, before pressing a button on the belt. With a flash, he teleported out of the room. A few seconds later, he returned, holding a Royal Guard Helmet in his hooves. "This belt allows me to teleport."

He walks over to Mr. Winks' Table, putting all of the items in his bags on the table. Three rings, the wands, and the cartridges.

"Now here are the real meat and potatoes of my tools."

"Oh, I have a question....!" Amber said, spinning in her chair.".....oh, wait I forgot... never mind.... well, this has been a good meeting. Ciao!" Amber flew out of the meeting room.

*Darkness smiles and flies out, as she is flying, she passes Mr. Winks office, she notices two chairs outside the door. Darkness flies down and sits in one of them, waiting to go to the mission, she sits there to rest herself.*

Aqua sighed. "Well, the meeting is over..." She simply stated as she got up from her chair and walked out of the meeting room.

Raven goes over to Starfire, since it appears everything has concluded.

"Hey, is it possible I can talk to you about something? I need somepony to confide in about something involving a certain pony," He asks quietly, since the pony in question was in the same room, but recently left.

"Yeah, sure. " Starfire said, sitting down in her chair.

"Thanks," He says, sitting down as well once more.

"Um, so you know..uh, Aqua?" He begins awkwardly.

"Yes. What about her?" Starfire asked.

"I.."  He gulps. "..sort of have a crush on her," He says. "She's a beautiful, wonderful pony, I want to tell her what I feel, but I know it isn't shared back, and that it would never happen. I just need some guidance on what to do, honestly," He explains.

*Darkness can't wait outside anymore, she knocks on Mr. Winks door, hoping he lets her in now.*

Starfire smiled. "Yup, no problem. Glad I could help." Starfire said, returning the hug. She then stood up in her chair and rolled out of the meeting room, following Aqua.

With a renewed sense of confidence, he too follows suit.

Nice job with your recent mission! Still a bit unorganized, but you'll get the hang of it! Its like what Mr.Winks always says; more experience, better results! Okay, this is your last mission before the Rank Mission! I am so excited for you and your crew! Okay, so this mission is a bit tricky. . .  Are sources tell us a tornado is forming near Salt Lick City! We know its forming. . . Just not sure WHERE it is going to come from! So scan the area for any suspicious looking clouds. . . But try not to go around and destroy all the clouds! We had to ask Cloudsdale to lower their cloud production, so every tame cloud is important! Even though we are having these freaky weather, we still need normal rain and stuff! Ahhh, I am blathering again! Stay dry and Have A Sunny Day!~

Aqua went back to the radar room and read the message. "Hmm... Salt Lick City.. alright then." She walked out of the room. " Starfire, I just got a message. We have to do a cloud check on Salt Lick City. A tornado could be forming there but there not sure where exactly. So we have to keep a watchful eye out. "

" Yes it is! That's the awesome part! I remember my first tornado. I was REALLY nervous but once I knew the basic stuff, I wasn't so nervous and it was awesome being in the tornado! " Starfire smiled.

Checking the Porta-Radar, Raven attempts to discern the normal clouds from the abnormal. After a bit of time, he goes next to Aqua.

"This may be nothing, but I'm noticing that the interior formation and movement of these clouds here are different in comparison to the usual produced by Cloudsdale. I still can't find any signs of a tornado formation, but it could be from this cluster," He explains, pointing to the things he's referring to.

Aqua looked at the things that Raven was referring to and thought for a moment."Hmm, alright, then. Amber, Starfire, keep a close look out for suspicious clouds."

"Will do, Aqua. C'mon, guys. " Starfire said as she flew higher into the sky, disappearing into the clouds.

Raven continues examining the clouds in an attempt to aid the effort, but starts to not find any new developments after a bit.

"Doesnt appear like it's being as unstable as usual, which is strange as well. If the Porta-Scanner was more powerful I could probably get more information, but as it stands all I know is what I've shown you. That cluster is concerning me though," He explains, homing in on the cluster and gathering the location of them.

"Want me to relay to them where the cluster is, at least relatively?" He asks.

Boa levitated up each of the rings. Each of them had their own special engravings on the inside of the rings, as well as a unique, albeit faint glow. "These rings are designed to fit onto my horn, once they're put on, the magic inside them activates.

Boa slid the first ring onto his horn, and just as it did, Boa disappeared. His body faded into nothingness. He was no longer there.

"This ring, allows me to become invisible." Boa takes the ring off, and he reappears, as if nothing had happened. "The other two increase my defenses. One is a natural Ring of Protection, the other protects me from Dark Magic and Evil-Aligned spells." He pauses. "On second thought, I think a Ring of Evasion would be better suited for working here. Perhaps when I get the chance, I can run back to my shop and switch them out."


Boa sets down his Ring of Invisibility, and walks to the next set of his tools. The Wands. They were about a foot in length and about a quarter-inch thick. Each of them had small symbols etched into them, which had a faint glow to them "These are Wands. Each one I've painstakingly created. Each of these wands has fifty charges, I can use it that many times before they would need a days worth of recharging. The first contains a spell called "Mending". It repairs damaged, or even broken objects. Carts, stands, benches, even buildings, although the more damage that these objects have taken, the more charges I'd need to spend to repair it."

Boa levitates up the other four. "These are a set of healing spells. The first is "Cure Light", which is for your everyday bruises and scraps. "Cure Moderate", it can heal minor and some moderate injuries. "Cure Serious", for the more bigger injuries, and finally, "Cure Critical". This is the one that's used when someone is...well, between this world and the next."


Boa sets down the wands, and walks over to the final set of his tools. "These are my Weird Science Cartridges. Seem small and rather hastily prepared, however, contained inside are my most powerful spells. The first is Admonishing Ray, I can use this to fire off a blast of Non-Lethal Force Damage, its designed to knock out ponies. Then we have one of my favorites, Arcane Eye."

Boa lifts up a glowing purple cartridge. "Arcane Eye creates a small, nigh-invisible eye that allows me to see into most places ponies cannot. It can travel through windows, walls, small cracks, pipes, underwater, anywhere I need it to go. While I am focusing my magic on the eye, I can see what it sees. And as I said, its nigh-invisible. For most ponies, they won't find it. Unicorns are a different matter, low level Unicorns won't be able to find it unless they're really looking for it specifically, while high-level unicorns who are more well-versed in magic than others, will be able to spot it no problem."


Boa sets it down. "Water Breathing allows me to breathe underwater, Stoneskin transforms my skin into a hard material that absorbs and deflects a good chunk of damage, Ant Haul triples the carrying and lifting capacity of a pony. Mighty Strength quadruples a Pony's natural strength, and Haste gives anypony faster movement, their speed and reflexes are practically doubled."


Boa turns back over to Mr. Winks. "I do have...one more tool. It is my greatest of all." A smirk forms across his face, he raises up his right hoof, showing that it is actually a prosthetic hoof. "Underneath this fake hoof of mine, is my greatest tool. A device that allows me to use these cartridges with unparalleled accuracy." Boa envelops his magic around the prosthetic, and holds it for a few seconds, however...his magic quickly fades away, and he lowers his hoof.


"...However, a magician never reveals his greatest secrets, and this one is mine."

Saluting and smiling as well, he travels upwards towards Amber and Starfire.

Amber was looking closely at every cloud, so she didn't see Raven float towards them. "Hmm... Starfire, I don't see any suspicious clouds yet."

"Ah, I'm sure a suspicious cloud will turn up soon. Then we'll punch it! And that will be the end of that." Starfire saw punching as the only solution for things like this...

"Oi, Star and Amber, I have some information for you both!" He says, heading towards them.

Starfire flew down in front of him. "Yes, what's the info?"

"I have a relative location of a suspicious cluster of clouds, different from the clouds usually produced by Cloudsdale. They appear to be forming somewhere over in that direction," He explains, pointing in the direction of a small group of houses.

"Ok, then. Lets go." Amber flew in the direction of the houses.

Aqua floated in the direction of the houses, looking up at the clouds. "Hmm..."

Raven follows suit, going to Aqua again.

"Should I head to the ground to get a different perspective and watch for any signs to warn those still there?" He asks her.

" Yes, of course." Aqua said. She then saw a grey cloud in the distance and floated towards it.

Starfire followed Amber and saw a few more grey clouds. "I think we found somethin'..." Starfire said, looking at the clouds carefully.

Touching down to the small village, he looks up at the cluster and starts noticing some odd movement with it. Seeing a pony outside, he goes to go talk to him.

"Good day," Raven says, surprising the pony.

"Hello to you too, don't see many unicorns around these parts. We're just preparing for the oncoming storm above, what brings you here?" The pony asks.

"Actually, the storm brings me here. I came by to advise all of you that you may not want to stay here. We're going to try to stop it, but we don't want to take chances," Raven replies.

"Hm..I suppose that makes sense, but I think we're fine, we've prepared for the worst," The pony states.

"Well, if you haven't heard recently, some very dangerous, abnormal storms have been popping up, this being one of them. I really don't think you should be risking this," Raven warns.

"Listen young stallion, I think we'd know when we would need to leave our village. Good day to you," He says, before turning and walking away.

"Well, that could've went better," Raven says, going near the cluster attempting to run a local scan of it, unaware of the beginning of a quicker movement in the clouds, nor the other grey clouds coming alongside it.

Starfire flew closer to one of the grey clouds and landed on it. As soon as she did, it turned darker. "Oops. Made it mad..." Starfire said, flying off of the cloud. "Well, before things possibly get worse, we have to get rid of these clouds."

Noticing a new disturbance in his scan and seeing more of the same disturbances starting to pop up in the clustering clouds, Raven goes back up to Star.

"How's it going up here?" He asks.

*Darkness follows Starfire, trusting her more then Aqua to help her* So, shouldn't we be scaling the level of the tornado before we go and kill it?

(I just came back from work, I hate it when you have to go to be early to go to work in the morning...............

"Eh, yeah we can. But we have to hurry. The clouds are getting worse..." Starfire said as she saw more dark clouds joining the cluster.

*Darkness took off and started to analyze the tornado, leaving her speed trail of bats behind her......... because bats........................... she started to get worried, when she got back to Starfire, Darkness gave her the results, SPEED FOR PONIES*

Amber looked at the results with Starfire and used her Storm Gadget to scan the tornado just to double check. " Eeyup, the tornado comes in at about... 5.9. Mild compared to our usual ones..." Amber said between chewing gum.

*Darkness looked around.............she was really nervous* So in school, they only said to fly around the tornado really fast if you want to get rid of it, I don't believe that, so somepony tell me how to do this.

Amber chuckled. " Ok then. Its a two pony job. Then it turns into a three pony job. The two pony part requires two ponies to fly really fast around the tornado in the opposite direction, guiding it away from the premises. Then, the three pony part requires two ponies to fly really fast [I]inside[/I] of the tornado in opposite directions while the third pony distorts the tornado on the outside. In conclusion, you get an awesome mane do in the end. " Amber smiled at her joke. " So, do you understand?"

*Darkness smiles* Yeah, I do, just my mane is already awesome soooooooooooooooooooooooo.

" Well, its about to become awesomer because [I]you[/I] are going to be going inside of the tornado!" Amber said, smiling.

*Darkness starts dancing around, then she sees the tornado start to form, and nearly has a heart attack, she settles down and waits for orders as she makes sure her goggles are on tight*

Starfire flew next to Darkness. "M'kay, so, rule number one is you gotta act fast. Rule number 2: You can never pause inside of a tornado. Rule Number 3: Concentrate, ok? And don't worry. I'll be right here to help you. You and I are going to fly around the tornado first, then we both go inside of the tornado while Amber controls the outside. "

I understand, just go when the tornado touches the ground right?

Noticing the rapid turn of events with the tornado, Raven goes below the cloud layer again, heading to the inside of what appeared to be a gathering building.

"Listen, there's a tornado forming right now. I'm not sure what you've all done to prepare or anything, but I suggest to make sure you secure yourselves. Me and the other crew are working to try to get the tornado away though," Raven says.

"I already told you we're fine!" The pony from earlier snaps.

"Whether you listen or not is your choice, I'm simply here to do my job. I'm going to go and watch for problems, stay put for now, and do what I've said," Raven simply responds, knowing they weren't going to agree to leave, and going outside and securing himself on the hoverboard.

Starfire followed her and started flying around the tornado. The wind blew violently, knocking some roof tiles, debris, and dirt off into the air, getting swallowed by the tornado.

*Darkness continues to fly around, even when tiny sharp objects hit her wings and legs, she continues, determined, she flies faster than she ever has before, WELL SHE MUST LOVE THE JOB*

While flying around, Raven realizes he's not secured onto the board enough, and ends up falling off of it, getting sucked up into the tornado in the process, unable to focus his magic to get out of it, making him a target for the flying debris and the like.

*Darkness watches him get sucked into the tornado, she has no clue what to do, so she turns on her headset (because y not) and speaks* Are you alright Raven?

"Apart from flying through a swirling whirlwind of debris and the like, having no wings or ability to leave it, I'm doing grea-gah!" He exclaims, getting hit by something in the process of saying it, going silent.

*Darkness gets worried and contacts Starfire* So, Raven got well, sucked into the tornado, and I think hhe just got hit by something very big, and well he doesn't have wings so, how do we get him out?

" He what!? " Starfire saw Raven spinning around in the tornado. She sighed and facehoofed. "Amber! Raven is stuck in the tornado. Darkness, keep flying around the tornado. Amber will help you while I rescue Raven." Starfire flew up above the tornado.

*Darkness continued to fly around the tornado, she then turned her station back to Raven to see if she could hear noise, Darkness hears moaning and static, nothing else*

"Ok, Starfire. Aqua, make sure there aren't any stray ponies and make sure they are safe." Amber started flying around the tornado.

As the two where flying around the tornado, the tornado seemed to be changing direction which gave Starfire just enough time to dive down inside of the tornado and grab Raven, flying out of the other side of the tornado and landing on the ground. "Raven? Raven, are you alright??"

Starfire sighed. "Oh good. Your ok. Aqua! You have to attend to Raven. And will do, Darkness." Starfire brought Aqua over to where Raven was and flew back to attend to the tornado and find out what hit Raven.

*A pickle flies in front of Darkness and she tries to holding her laughter as more pickles and potatoes fly by*

Starfire grabbed a pickle from the tornado as a little lunch as she looked at all the passing debris carefully. "hmm... I'm not seeing anything big enough to cause a lot of damage to Raven yet."

*Darkness dove inside of the tornado still flying really fast, she starts losing feeling in her left wing since many sharp objects hit it. Darkness fights through it and continues to fly, mostly flying with her right wing, she still flies at the same speed*

After a few minutes of flying, the tornado finally distorted and disappeared. Starfire tried to brake in time once the tornado disappeared, but instead faceplanted the ground.

Starfire coughed and wiped her face. " Yes, that was awesome! " Starfire looked around at what was left of most of the houses; most of them being the remains of basements. "And the tornado didn't do too much damage."

"Alright, then." Aqua Wish went back to Raven and carefully put him on her hover board, making sure he was ok as they went back to H.Q. As soon as they arrived, Aqua put Raven on a sofa and went to get some real bandages for him.

Smiling, Raven wonders to himself: I wonder if now would be a good time..

Aqua came back with the bandages and put them on Raven's bruises. "There. All better." She said with a smile.

"Thank you for this, sorry I wasn't much help with the tornado. Getting sucked into it probably didn't assist anyone," He says.

"Also, could I..ask you something?" He asks carefully.

"No need to apologize about the tornado. It could have happened to anypony."

"And yes, you can ask me anything."

"Do you.." He hesitates. "..have a coltfriend?" He asks, a bit red.

Aqua laughed a bit. "A coltfriend? No, I don't have a coltfriend. Why do you ask?"

"Because I..I-I was thing to ask if you would want to.." He trails off.

Aqua paused for a bit. "...If I want to what...?"

"..." He is silent, trying to find the words. "B-be with m-me?" He asks lamely, mentally slapping himself for his stupid way of saying that.

Aqua's cheeks turned completely red. "Y-you mean like....as your marefriend...? " Aqua looked down, trying to think of what to say. "Well...um..."

"I'm sorry, I'm just an idiot, I'll shut up," He says, downcast.

"Your not an idiot..." Aqua finally said. She gave a small smile. "...and...I wouldn't mind being your marefriend..."

Little did both of them know that Amber had been watching them both the whole time from afar, wondering what would happen next. She signaled over to Starfire to observe this cute moment.

Starfire silently walked over to Amber and watched Raven and Aqua with her, waiting in anticipation to see what would happen next.

" .... :3 "

"R-really?" He says, eyes lighting up, and a very wide smile coming to his face. He wraps her in an embrace despite the pain, wincing but happy.

Aqua smiled and hugged him back. "...but why do I get the feeling that we are being watched...?"

Looking around and noticing a small movement, he chuckles a bit.

"I think we probably are," He states.

Aqua walked towards where the movement was coming from and saw Amber and Starfire. "....What are you two doing?"

Starfire jumped up from the hiding spot. " We where definitely not watching you two. We where uh...just leaving. Um, Amber, I think my wing is broken. You have to look at it." Starfire made up that quick excuse before grabbing Amber's hoof and walking away, grinning from ear to ear.

"....ok..." Aqua went back to Raven. "I'm going to go check the radar room. You get some rest." Aqua smiled then walked away.

He walks over to Mr. Winks' Table, putting all of the items in his bags on the table. Three rings, the wands, and the cartridges.

"Now here are the real meat and potatoes of my tools."

The stallion eyes lit up as he watch Boa disappear and reappear. Laughter filled the office as his excitement spread through his smile. Mr. Winks was already impressed by the helmet; he couldn't imagine what else Boa had in store. Through excited giggles he exclaimed,
Mr. Winks: Oh Ho Ho Ho!~ I couldn't imagine what else you could surprise me with But do try to take it easy, my heart is weak darling!~

"Alright. Thank you again, so much, for everything," He says, watching her leave.

"Alright, lets see, here..." Aqua said to herself as she sat down in front of the radar screen. She saw a grey dot appear over a body of water. "...hmm..."

*Darkness stands by Mr. Winks office door, waiting for Mr. Winks to let her in. Darkness looks at her left wing, she flaps it around a bit to make sure it isn't broken. After insuring her wing is ok, she knocks on the door, waiting again, she starts to hum*

Eventually, the grey dot disappeared. She didn't see it or anything else appear on the radar after a few minutes, so she got up and walked back out of the radar room.

Boa levitated up each of the rings. Each of them had their own special engravings on the inside of the rings, as well as a unique, albeit faint glow. "These rings are designed to fit onto my horn, once they're put on, the magic inside them activates.

Perhaps when I get the chance, I can run back to my shop and switch them out."


Boa sets down his Ring of Invisibility, and walks to the next set of his tools. The Wands. They were about a foot in length and about a quarter-inch thick. Each of them had small symbols etched into them, which had a faint glow to them "These are Wands. Each one I've painstakingly created. Each of these wands has fifty charges, I can use it that many times before they would need a days worth of recharging. The first contains a spell called "Mending". It repairs damaged, or even broken objects. Carts, stands, benches, even buildings, although the more damage that these objects have taken, the more charges I'd need to spend to repair it."

Boa levitates up the other four. "These are a set of healing spells. The first is "Cure Light", which is for your everyday bruises and scraps. "Cure Moderate", it can heal minor and some moderate injuries. "Cure Serious", for the more bigger injuries, and finally, "Cure Critical". This is the one that's used when someone is...well, between this world and the next."


Boa sets down the wands, and walks over to the final set of his tools. "These are my Weird Science Cartridges. Seem small and rather hastily prepared, however, contained inside are my most powerful spells. The first is Admonishing Ray, I can use this to fire off a blast of Non-Lethal Force Damage, its designed to knock out ponies. Then we have one of my favorites, Arcane Eye."

Boa lifts up a glowing purple cartridge. "Arcane Eye creates a small, nigh-invisible eye that allows me to see into most places ponies cannot. It can travel through windows, walls, small cracks, pipes, underwater, anywhere I need it to go. While I am focusing my magic on the eye, I can see what it sees. And as I said, its nigh-invisible. For most ponies, they won't find it. Unicorns are a different matter, low level Unicorns won't be able to find it unless they're really looking for it specifically, while high-level unicorns who are more well-versed in magic than others, will be able to spot it no problem."


Boa sets it down. "Water Breathing allows me to breathe underwater, Stoneskin transforms my skin into a hard material that absorbs and deflects a good chunk of damage, Ant Haul triples the carrying and lifting capacity of a pony. Mighty Strength quadruples a Pony's natural strength, and Haste gives anypony faster movement, their speed and reflexes are practically doubled."


Boa turns back over to Mr. Winks. "I do have...one more tool. It is my greatest of all." A smirk forms across his face, he raises up his right hoof, showing that it is actually a prosthetic hoof. "Underneath this fake hoof of mine, is my greatest tool. A device that allows me to use these cartridges with unparalleled accuracy." Boa envelops his magic around the prosthetic, and holds it for a few seconds, however...his magic quickly fades away, and he lowers his hoof.


"...However, a magician never reveals his greatest secrets, and this one is mine."

Although all of the items impressed Mr. Winks, only one he found was worth his time. Those wands we do him and the organization a blessing; repairing damaged cities has been taking longer than he liked. Over all, he was tickled pink to see Boa's amazing gadgets. His smile and giggles were more filled with excitement as he listen closely to what the stranger had to say. Just as the stallion was about to drown Boa in compliments, he heard a soft knock at the door. Looking at his security camera, he saw the new recruit was at his door. A small frown formed across his face; he forgot that he planned the mare this early. The frown didn't last too long, his smile was brought back by his current state of excitement. Looking over at the stallion he said,
Mr.Winks: Oh darling, this has been quit a show case! The only thing that is containing my excitement is this tight suite! Oh Ho Ho Ho!~ Oh darling, I have a little recruit at my door. You mind to have an audience?

*Darkness hears through the door, but sits there waiting for approval. Though Darkness knows her wing is fine, she continues to move it, just to be sure. Also noticing that her legs took some damage, but she knows they are fine*

"Sure, I dont mind. The more the merrier, as they say." Boa turned to start putting away his tools.

"I've created most of these items. I run a shop down in Canterlot, filled with hundreds upon hundreds of items like these. Feel free to drop by and see if anything there catches your eye."

Mr.Winks: Excellent! The door is unlock, you may enter, darling!
The stallion shouted toward Darkness. He then turned his volume down for Boa and added,
Mr.Winks: Oh Ho Ho Ho!~ I might be a unicorn, but I don't go down to Canterlot often. I may or may not make an exception for you!~ I enjoyed this little preview of your gadgets! Oh how the organization would love to have you! We need another pony with a brain as big as his imagination to help create more Storm Fighting technology!

*Darkness walks into the room, she sees Boa and blushes a bit, but focuses on her job. Darkness walks closer to Mr. Wink's desk, she finds a chair and sits down. As she waits for the right time to speak, she continues to mess with her wing, still not convinced that it is ok*

Boa gives a smile towards Darkness, managing to maintain his poker face and hide his own blush about what had happened in the morning. He turned back towards Mr. Winks.

"I think I'd enjoy being a part of this organization. As an Artificer, I'm almost always creating something in my shop. And its not just rings and wands I make. What you see here isn't even the tip of the iceberg. Perhaps once I get settled in, I can show how some of these items are created. Think of it as a showcase of what you can expect from me."

Starfire winced a bit and stopped walking, looking at her wing. "Um, Amber, I think you really do  have to look at my wing. I'm not sure if its broken or not." She said as she sat down.

Mr.Winks: Oh darling, no need to worry about those details yet! I haven't even accepted you into the organization! You gotta prove yourself beyond the gadgets that you can have a key role in my organization!~ Speaking of proving yourself. . .
The stallion said as he turned his direction toward Darkness. A large smile formed across his face as he made his way back toward his desk. While the stallion was taking a seat, he levitated two chairs in front of his desk. In a cheerful tone he said,
Mr.Winks: Hello Darkness!~ I am happy you were able to make it to this meeting! If you didn't, I would had fired you! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho! Ahhhh, I see you joined Aqua and her little crew! That is fantastic, I love having new recruits! But there is a tiny problem . . . You hopped aboard the Aqua train a bit too late! This was their last mission before the big Rank Mission. I can't allow you to take part a dangerous mission if you haven't met the requirements. . . . .

*Darkness cleared her throat* Well, ever since I was a young filly, my parents would complain of the Pegasus in the Storm Chasers wouldn't let bat ponies in the, well, Storm Chasers. I understood as a filly, that well, I can die in this job if I am not too careful. Just, I begged my parents to move us to Cloudsdale so I could go to flight camp, well we did. Everyday I would practice my speed, agility, and balance. When I was accepted into the Storm Chasers Academy, is when I got my cutie mark, so I felt as if it was my destiny, since my cutie mark is the Storm Chasers symbol made to look like it belongs to a bat pony. That mission that I went on too was so thrilling, the most I have felt alive in many moons, I understand if I need to retake any test........ I just really want this job.   *Darkness smiles, she has hope in her eyes. Darkness has showed her love for this job, and she can show the recordings of their conversations to prove that she cares for the job*

Now I can't make any promises, but I think I can squeeze in a quick mission for the big Rank Mission . . . Well, even if you can't get this in before the rank mission, you still have to do it. There is an. . . . unusual storm forming. . .  Now, it ain't anything special just. . . unusual! You wi- Wait! You and Boa will do this mission together! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho!~ Oh look at me go, killing two birds with one stone! Yes, Boa will join you on this mission! I need to see if he is worth keeping around! Okay, that is my final say on the issue! Boa, you can stay here if you like! I need to have you two close by. . . Who knows when this storm will hit! Oh Ho Ho Ho! I am so excited! You two taking on this special mission for me! A large smile was plaster on Mr. Winks face as he waited for the two to respond.

*Darkness has surprise in her eyes, she didn't want to say anything rude, so she didn't get fired* I understand that this isn't about Raven, but speaking of him, Raven fell into the tornado, and got hit by something, Starfire got him to safety, but last I saw him, he looked and sounded a little dropsy. I am pretty sure you would like to hear about that just in case he ends up in the hospital or something.......................... *Darkness still didn't want to say anything about the mission with Boa but she did anyway* Do you know what type of storm it is, if not that is fine, but I would like to know what I am tackling with so i can prepare.

Boa smirked. "Sure. Sounds good."

He turns his attention towards darkness. 'This is all reminding me of the good ol' days. I haven't been this excited in a long time.' He thinks to himself.

*Darkness starts to blush a bit more, then she thinks to herself* Why is Mr. Winks paring us up, put of all the ponies, US! Does Mr. Winks know anything about last night? Or is this just a weird coincidence?

He warmly said as he tried to contain his excitement. His eyes were filled with joy by not only giving a super cool missions  to rookies, but also the gadgets he saw today. Mr.Winks was full of giggles, but was able to bottle them up to look professional.

*Darkness nodded and started to walk out of the room, she decided to stay by the tree near the speakers for the day, she flew to it and hung upside down, covered herself with her wings, but didn't sleep, she was just thinking*

Boa scratched the back of his head. "I need to be ready for whatever this mission holds for me. No room for error. Perhaps I should make a quick run back to Canterlot..."

Raven has fallen asleep during this time, relaxing until needed, since he wasn't going to allow the damage done to him to stop him from continuing.

Aqua Wish went back to where Raven was to check on him. She smiled when she saw him asleep and decided to once again go back to the radar room. For some reason, she had a strange feeling. She got to the radar room and saw the grey dot yet again... no wait, now it was two dots. She wasn't sure if these where waterspouts or just a regular storm, so she decided to leave it alone; walking out of the radar room and getting a bottle of water.

I am sorry, but your Rank Mission is coming up soon and we can't have them tagging along a serious mission. . . I will see what I can do, but do not let this get to you, Amber or StarFire. *Darkness stays up all night, since she is a batpony, she doesn't need much sleep. On the branch see stays there, thinking, not knowing why they were chosen for the mission, but ignores it. Darkness continues to stay on the branch upside down, and continues to think*

(Guys, three sentences, so hard.  :3 :P :l :c

Boa fell back onto his bed, he looked up at the ceiling, his mind deep in thought. He pushed himself to his side of the bed. He didn't know how long he spent thinking, about the Organization, his meeting with Mr. Winks, his upcoming mission, and the pony he was going to be working with. Eventually, he fell asleep.

(Next Day)

The next day, Aqua Wish went back to the radar room and saw the message. After she was done reading it, she sighed. She looked up at the radar screen and saw the two grey dots appear again. They could be used as practice for today, at least. She got up and walked to the sleeping quarters to tell Amber and Starfire about the message.

Raven, woken up, decides to trot to the radar room, despite still hurting, to check if anything is amiss, limping in the process of doing so.

*Darkness hears Aqua running, but she doesn't move, she stays on the tree. Waiting to hear about the unusual storm, she sits there.*

Starfire woke up the next day and got out of bed. Her wing felt better for the most part... until she moved it. A piercing sting of pain ran through her wing and she stopped moving it. She winced and breathed in deeply. " Ah great. My wing feels worse now.." She then heard hoofsteps coming towards her room. She opened the door and saw Aqua. "Oh, hey, Aqua.." Starfire said, wincing again, but then forcing a smile.

Getting to the radar room, he notices the grey dots as well, finding it strange. He was about to take out his Pota-Radar to work on it, and see what he can view, but ended up falling to the floor from the pain in his legs, banging against a table on the way. Thankfully, he doesn't land on the Porta-Radar.

Boa sat up from his bed, waking up from his sleep. He turned to the other side of the bed, only to see it empty. He scratched his head and let out a yawn. He pushed himself out of bed and prepared for the day.


Some time later, Boa walks out of his home, since he hadn't gotten a letter for his job yet, he decided to return to the Silver Ouroboros for the time being. Upon entering, he sees a small stack of papers resting on the counter. He levitates them up to look at them.

"Seems I have a new set of requests." Boa begins flipping through them. "If it weren't for Mr. Winks and his organization, I'd be able to commit to some of these...but they'll take too long as is." He sat down next to his counter, and pulled out a quill and ink. He began to write a letter to his store in Manehattan, telling them to work on the majority of his requests in his stead. Once he was finished, he sent the letter and the requests to the store.


"Lets see, that leaves me with one remaining. Starsong Mail. Simple enough."

Whatever they are, I think they will make good practice for today... well, that's all I wanted to tell you. Can you inform Amber about this, also? And tell me whenever your ready for practice. " Aqua smiled then walked away, going back to the radar room and seeing Raven on the floor. She quickly went over to him and helped him up, taking him back to the sofa. "Raven, are you alright? What where you doing in the radar room?"

"I'm not letting some..minor injuries hinder me working. You don't deserve me laying down doing nothing," He says.

Aqua sighed. " Yes, but you still have to lay down and get rest..."

"Productivity comes from getting up and continuing, not from laying around stopping. Besides, there's probably going to be another mission soon, I need to be up and going," He explains.

Starfire sighed. This is the worse possible day to go on a practice mission! Her wing is in no condition to fly. She sat down and thought.

"The rank mission is in a few days... maybe my wing will completely heal by then... so, for now, I'm just going to have to do the best that I can..."

Starfire got back up and walked down to where Aqua was, putting on a poker face to hide her wincing. "...so, well, I'm ready..."

"I'm doing well enough, I'd say," Raven replies.

"Alright.." He said, disappointed at having to stay. He decides, once Aqua and the rest had left, to go back to the radar room, to monitor everything, and also work on improving the Porta-Radar once more. This time, he uses his magic to keep himself upright as he moves around.

He also takes out an old communications radio, and tempers with it some, to try to listen in on the communications of the active crew.

Starfire followed suit, following Aqua, though she wasn't flying very fast and was only a mere inch off of the ground. She maintained her poker face despite the pain she felt as she flew. "So, these grey dots are for practice, right..? What are they, exactly..?" Starfire asked Aqua, looking at her Storm Gadget.

"I'm not exactly sure. I found them over a body of water near a town not too far from here. I think they may be waterspouts trying to form, but I'm not sure.." Aqua wanted to ask why Starfire was flying so low to the ground, which was unusual, but she decided not to, and just looked at her S. G (Storm Gadget).

" Huh, they more than likely could be waterspouts... if they are over a body of water. Hm.." Naturally being the caring 'sister' when it came to Starfire, she had to ask what was wrong. "Hey, Starfire, why are you flying so low? You ok?"

Starfire looked up at Amber. " What? Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm ok..." She flashed a fake smile at Amber before looking back at the S. G. " Hmm.. we are close.."

Mr.Winks enters his office with a frown. He was up all night investigating storm patterns and answering distress calls. With little sleep and patients, the stallion made it over to his desk. To his surprised, a cup of coffee and a folder was waiting for him. An annoyed sigh fell onto the folder; he hasn't been in this building for twenty minutes and there was already work waiting for him. As he levitated the coffee to his mouth, the stallion examined the insides of the folder. A surprised look crossed his face; it was the Rank Mission that Diurnal Course picked out for her crew. The stallion took his time to look over the mission; making sure it was fitting for the crew.

"Hmm... ok." She looked up and saw some grey clouds gathering in the distance, and what looked like water splashing up, then back down. "Found the waterspouts! Over there!" She pointed in that direction and flew towards it.

(  lol  OH "fake smile" and FakeSmile! ...didn't realize that until now. lol )

"Oh great..." Starfire mumbled to herself. She followed Amber and flew as best as she could.

After a bit of time messing around with it, Raven turns on the communications radio, so he can hear any communications, but not be heard himself, and focusing then on improving the capabilities of the Porta-Radar.

Once Amber was in close enough range to the water spouts, she took out her S. G to scan how harsh it was. She laughed when she got the results.  " They both only come in at about 4. 6. Both of them! This'll be easy!" Amber had said with a confident smile. "So, Starfire, lets get this water spout." Amber had landed on the dock, looking at the waterspouts.

" Oh thank Celestia..." Starfire said to herself, still with a poker face. She flew to where Amber was and landed with her, watching the mild waterspouts consume a few pieces of seaweed and the like. " So, ready? Starfire asked Amber, managing to make a confident smile before cringing slightly.

Aqua Wish floated next to them. "Well, I'll take this waterspout. " Aqua stepped off of her hover board and looked at the water. She took a few minutes to admire the crashing waves before taking a few steps back and jumping off of the dock, landing on the water. She smiled brightly as the waves rolled underneath her hooves.

Deciding to test it, he goes to the window and pinpoints a cloud, attempting to examine the inner-workings of it. However, during the attempt, the device blasts some kind of beam, but not towards the cloud, towards a different direction. After thinking about it for a second, he thinks it's heading to where the crew is now, but he's unsure what it's going to do, or what it is.

" Ok, Starfire. Lets do this!" Amber flew in front of the water spout and flew around it.

"Yeah, ok..." Starfire sighed and was about to take flight, but saw something in the sky headed towards them. "...Um, wait, Amber, do you see that?" Starfire pointed.

Aqua heard Starfire and looked up. "...what on earth...? It looks like a beam... and its headed straight for us! Hit the dirt! " Aqua scrambled under the dock.

(How is gravity gonna cummunicate with them on missions?)

Instead of the beam hitting them, it ended up hitting one of the spouts, making it more unstable and chaotic.

Hearing about a beam from the radio, Raven realizes the beam is doing something strange, and decides he needs to try to help solve whatever is going on. Using his magic, he summons his hoverboard, and some support, and slowly tries to make his way to the crew.

Amber flew behind a tree. "This is not good! We have to stop the spouts before it gets much worse!" Amber yelled over the now roaring wind.

Eventually arriving and seeing what's unfurling, Raven tries to locate Aqua, seeing her holding onto the dock. Quicker than before, beginning to hurt worse again, he goes to where she is.

"Need a hoof?" He asks, smiling but wincing.

Aqua looked up and smiled, seeing Raven. She grabbed Raven's hoof and lifted herself back onto the dock; leading herself and Raven a safe distance away from the chaotic waterspouts. " Thank you for the help, Raven, but what are you doing here?"

(Life, welp, I guess I have to make Darkness do something

*Darkness flies down from the tree, from everything being dark for so long, her eyes start to hurt. Darkness looks around, not seeing anypony, she walks to the radar room. Darkness still can't tell if anypony is in the radar room or no, since her vision is weird from taking a nap for so long. Darkness sits down in a chair and opens her satchel, reaching in the satchel, Darkness pulls out a cookie and starts to eat it.*

As Boa finished his work for the day, he looked at the progress he made on his remaining order, the Starsong Mail. He had limited resources to make chainmail in the first place, but he had to make do for the time being. As he ran out of material for the armor, he was only able to complete half of the armor, and he had to still add the magical properties of the armor.

"I'll have to put in a few orders of my own if I'm going to finish this."

Stretching his limbs, Boa decided to close up shop for the day, and spend the remaining day in the city. Perhaps he'd walk back to the HQ and see if there was anything he could do there.

Frosted Twinkie walks in the H.Q Radar room and asked Darkness if she is ok.

Boa eventually reached the Storm Chasers HQ and walked inside, the first thing he noticed was that it was a little less lively than the last time he came to the HQ.

'Must be on a mission.' He thought to himself. He decided to take a casual walk through the building, deciding to see if there was anything interesting, when he heard a conversation in what was labeled "Radar Room".

Walking in, he saw Darkness sitting there. Next to her was a Griffin that Boa had never seen before. As he entered the room, he was nearly taken back at the sight of it. He had only seen a glimpse of the room when he was here to see Mr Winks, but once inside, he couldn't help but be amazed by the sights and sounds. The technology and devices used were something that even Boa believed was unheard of.

Another reason, why I am the first batpony to be on the weather team, is that most ponies assume that we are harmful, that is why we don't show up much around Equestria, but I live in Cloudsdale since my dad is part of Luna's Royal Guard. Loud feedback came from the intercoms as Mr.Winks pressed the button. With his usual cheerful tone he sung,
Mr.Winks: Ooooh Boa and Darkness!~ Please come to my office. . . Immediately! Oh Ho Ho Ho Ho!~
The stallion continued to laugh for a bit before hanging up the call. With a large smile on his face, he reclined in his office chaired. On his desk laid a folder with the details of the secret mission. His excitement was seeping through his smile; this mission was going to be something else.

Boa smiled, turning towards Darkness. "Looks like its showtime." He begins walking towards the elevator that led to Mr. Winks' office.

*Darkness flew to Mr. Winks office, in a matter of seconds. As Darkness opened the door, she looked at her boss, and all of a sudden doesn't seem so childish anymore.* So, anything on the storm yet.

After a couple minutes, Boa enters the room as well. "I take it our mission is coming up?"

*Darkness sits there, waiting for her boss to talk.*

Mr.Winks was looking over the report of their mission as the duo entered his office. He didn't acknowledge them at first; he was far too fascinated by the type of storm they had been assigned. After a while of reading over the report, a large smile formed across his face. He finally looked up at the duo and his smile grew even bigger. When Boa asked his question, a twinkle appeared in his eyes. With an unlimited amount of enthusiasm he sung,
Mr.Winks: Oh, it has defiantly shown up! Hard to believe it took us this long to pin point it. . . But nobody is perfect, Oh Ho Ho Ho!~
The stallion dropped the report and turned it so the duo could read over. His excitement was oozing through his smile and he could barely stop giggling long enough to talk. As he got a grip of his joy he continued,
Mr.Winks: Yes, this is going to be a fun challenge for y'all.  Seems like we have whirlpool on our hooves. . .Which isn't good, since the skies are too dangerous to fly we've been relying on boats a lot lately. Now you are probably thinking, "Whats so unusual about a silly whirlpool?" Well, it tends to move from place to place. . . It'll take out a few boats then disappear. This is where are lovely friend, Boa, comes in handy! Y'all will have to go underwater and take it out from there. Of course, you'll have to catch it first! Lucky for you, we have a gadget in here that should work. Lately we've been studying whirlpools so we had to simulate them. Once you leave, find Diurnal Course and she'll give you all the gear you'll need!~ She'll also assistance in pin pointing the location the whirlpool has shown up. And those are the breaks!~ All I have left to say, is do your best! The mission is ready whenever you want to head out! Feel free to take your friends along, Darkness.~ Any who, y'all best get to it, those ships are in dire need of our help. Good luck and Have A Sunny Day!~

The stallion happily exclaimed to the duo. He was impressed to hear that Boa already had personal experience with whirlpools. Mr.Winks was positive the duo will get the job done.

*Darkness nodded, she had then took out a map in her bag and looked at Mr. Winks.* So, exactly, where are we heading?

The stallion laughed as he tried to hide his shock. He could hardly believe he forgot to mention where the whirlpool was! After his laughter died down he said,

*Darkness smiled she put her map back and spread her wings.* Any extra info? If so, I believe it would be best to tell us now. *Darkness's wing starts to hurt again, it has visible holes in it since debris went through it (My theory is that a Batpony's wings are easier to hurt than a normal Pegasus's wings). Darkness still surprisingly can fly well, since it still is skin on her wings, and the skin will heal, she hopes at least.*

When Boa hears the location, his eyes widen and he quickly places his hoof to his chin, deep in thought. Without realizing it, he's mumbling to himself, its a quiet whisper, just barely loud enough to be heard .

"Baltimare...that's pretty close to Manehattan. About what, a week trip from Manehattan to Baltimare? Hmm...that might take too long, chances are we won't have the time to wait. Maybe if I send a message in advance--"


Boa stops mid-sentence, looking up to speak clearly. "How long will the trip be from here to Baltimare?"

The stallion said with a smile. He was glad these two were asking so many question; it showed they cared about the mission.

*Darkness nodded her head slightly, when she walked out of the room, she started to fly to the helicopter pad. Darkness doesn't feel her left wing at all, even though it looks like it should be in the holy bible (sorry if you're Christian or Jewish, I just love that joke). After Darkness finds the helicopter, she sits by the pad waiting for Boa, and anypony else whom wants to show up.*

Boa seems to lose a bit of his energy when he hears about how long it would take. "Ah..." He lets out a sigh, before looking up, smiling at Mr. Winks. "Well, guess it can't be helped. We'll get the job done."


He turns and leaves the office, walking out of the HQ and towards the helicopter pad. "A helicopter, eh? These ponies have more fancier toys than me. I'm gonna need to step my own game up." He lets out a chuckle.

Boa reaches the helicopter pad, seeing Darkness. He hops up onto the pad, taking a seat near her. "Been a pretty interesting few days, huh?"

*Darkness looks up, she smiles a bit, and lets out a little chuckle.* Yeah, just imagine if your parents didn't even want you here. That is a bit more interesting.*Darkness then remembers the book, she looks at Boa, then back at the helicopter floor.* What to ponies in Manehatten think of Batponies, or did they not know we existed

Boa sits back. "I haven't been to Manehattan in years, so I can't really say. My only connection to the big city is through my other store that an old friend of mine runs in my stead."

Boa looks at Darkness. "Why do you ask?"

*Darkness sighs.* All books that I have seen, even ones written by loyalty. Include horrific and gruesome tales about Batponies. All the information about us was wrong as well.......... But anywhere, does somepony think we're different. Is that why all of Equestria pushed us aside, treated us like slaves.  *Darkness's ears went down, as a single tear went down her face, knowing that she had to look tough for the job.* Everypony thinks we're childish, we just are able to get more energy, that's all. Everypony thinks we're monsters, HAVE YOU FELT MY COAT, it is so fluffy and warm, and I am not a monster. Everypony think we're idiots, we use our knowledge when we know it's right, we don't buckin' brag..... excuse my language, I never wanted to seem hostile.

Diurnal Course: SORRY! SORRY! SORRY!
The mare shouted as she fumbled toward the helicopter. She was carrying a large box on her back and was attempting to put on her jacket. Once she made it up to the pad, the mare trip and landed onto her face. The objects in the box flew out and scattered around her. Her hair flopped down for a moment, but then quickly sprung back to life. As she scurried to pick the items up she stuttered,
Diurnal Course: I am so sorry, I had no idea I was workin' this mission! I thought I would only be workin' the Rank Mission. . . But no worries, Mr.Wink told me a few moments ago what I had to do! Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha. . . Um. . . What exactly are y'all doin'? Mr.Winks just told me to quickly go to the 'copter and fly y'all to Horse Shoe bay. . . Ah Ha Ha Ha. . .
The mare sheepishly chukled as she scrambled to pick up the fallen items.

*Darkness wipes her face and says one simple word.* Whirlpool

Diurnal Course's eyes lit up to the word, "Whirlpool". With a big grin on her face she giggled,
Diurnal Course: Oh, this is gonna be fun! . . . I tend to do Whirlpool missions a bit different than others. Ha ha ha ha. . .
Her inner daredevil was slowly seeping through her smile as she cleaned up her mess. Once she boarded the helicopter, she gave Darkness the box. As she took a seat at the controls she said,

The mare turned for a brief moment to smile at Darkness, before staring up the helicopter. As the helicopter started to take flight she added,
Diurnal Course: Y'all might want to hold onto something, this 'copter ain't the smoothest to fly.

*Darkness looks at the box, then wraps her wings around her seat. Darkness examines the box, she then looks outside, and smiles.* You know what? This will be fun! Why should I care what other ponies think of me? I have friends, some that I can't believe talk to me. So, if someponies think those lies are true, shame on them, because they don't know me!*Darkness leans back on her seat, putting on the sunglasses Cotton Ball gave her. Looking like a really cool Batpony now.

Boa lets out a hearty laugh, before hopping into the helicopter. "Now that's the spirit! Come on, lets get this show on the road!"

Boa has an intense look in his eyes as a smile forms across his face, one of pure excitement. "Enough sitting around, the sea awaits!"

*Darkness reaches in her bag, she pulls out about five books about Batponies.* These, get a little gruesome. Also, there is one called Twilight. It says Batponies sparkle in daylight, stupid right.

Diurnal Course: I'm sure those authors will eat their books once they get a load of you! This whirlpool has been causing a bunch of troubles. . . Speakin' of the whirlpool, we gotta discuss the game plan. Anyone got any idea on how you stop a whirlpool?
The mare asked as the helicopter took off. She started to adjust the head set so it would better fit and pick out a private station for the group to use.

*Darkness thinks a bit, then she remembers something from school.* I am pretty sure it is sorta the same as a tornado. Just the ponies flying in the water, but the faster you fly, the better you breath. But, I can't remember, I know that unicorns need technology, and another a water bending spell, but I am not a unicorn....sooooooooo.

"Moving through water is a lot different than moving through air. You're going up against a lot more force and pressure, both of which increases the deeper down you go. Go too far down without the proper equipment, and you'll be in some big trouble."

"Now, considering we're going up against a whirlpool, that means we'll more than likely be going up against the flow. We'll be expending a great deal more energy than you would just swimming normally. Luckily, one of my cartridges is charged with the Water Breathing spell. Even with the three of us, that'll be two charges between all of us, and trust me...one will be more than enough."


Boa turns to Diurnal Course. "I...assume we'll have to get in the water to complete the job, yes?"

Galacto: Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! Boa is right, y'all gotta go in and swim against the current till the whirlpool dies out. Easier said than done though! Although its a bit more physical, the organization likes it better this way. It causes waaaay less damage to the environment. But this one gone rouge, so you can't really swim to it fast enough. That is where our friend, Darkness, comes into play. That orb creates and maintains whirlpools. All you gotta do is thrown it into the eye of the pool. Once the orb sinks to the bottom, it'll keep that whirlpool in one place then y'all just gotta swim!
The mare happily explained as she steered the helicopter. A few giggles did slip out of her smile; she loved working on these types of storms. . . Too bad she can't participate. . . But she had a job to do, so she set her disappointment aside. With a big smile she continued,
Galacto: I'm not sure how strong this whirlpool is. . . Don't worry though, we have water jet packets for ya'! But they won't do ya' much good if you can't swim. . . . Everyone CAN swim, right?

Boa smirked. "No problems there. I lived by and even on the sea for years. Wouldn't be much of a Sea Captain if I couldn't swim."

*Darkness seems a bit concerned.* The teachers at the school don't really give you the correct information, do they? Oh, and Frosted, is it, use your wings to swim, that is what I did when I was little. Honestly I sometimes do that still. When we had the swimming test at school, we had to swim a certain speed to earn our degree, so I used my wings. I am not bragging, but I had the best time. Well anyway, whirlpools could have very much force, I heard 10 years ago, there was one with the speed faster than a hurricane. Yeah, well, do any unicorns have to use spells, or is our current technology enough? *Darkness looks at her wing, and then looks back up.*

*Darkness sighs.* Just have confidence, you'll do it. Your problem is that you don't know how to control, that's all, nothing bad. Just have confidence.

Diurnal Course: Besides Boa's water spell, all the technology you need is that orb! You just gotta be mentally and physically ready to stop that whirlpool. Oh, and if you get caught in the whirlpool just hit the panic button on your S.C.H Gadgets. I'll come in and help you out. Then you can try it again! Gotta make Mr.Winks proud. . . Oh and try to be graceful. Its honestly not that important but . . . . I mean it is important! Grace, passion and . . . Grace is so important! That's what Mr.Winks said. . . . Ha Ha Ha Haaaa. . .
The mare's advice trailed off into a nervous laughter; she didn't want her last comment to come back and bite her later. As helicopter was approaching Baltimare, she noticed that clouds were starting to form. A large frown formed across her face, she didn't want a storm forming while she was in the air. As she tried to get in contact with headquarters she said out loud to herself,
Diurnal Course: Geez, you think the weather ponies would have told me if there was a chance of a storm. . . Better lighten up soon. . .

*Darkness looks at the clouds, then she sees the sight of water.* It looks like a soft storm, nothing to worry about. Just, we might want to worry about what I see in the water........ *Darkness lets her wings go of the seat, and she gets prepared to fly down, well wit the orb.*

As the helicopter flew closer to Horse Shoe Bay, a wind started to pick up. An annoyed sigh came from Diurnal Course; she really didn't want to land this helicopter because of a stupid storm. The mare started to search for the whirlpool on her personal Gadget. Broken pieces of ships and lost goods were littering the bay; which would be harder for the crew to navigate in but make it easier to spot the whirlpool. As the mare kept a close eye on the bay she announced,
Diurnal Course:I'll tell you when to drop down Darkness. . . Once you're out of the plan, its up to you to keep up with it! I will update you through the S.H.Q gadget where it might pop up next.

Boa looked out at the wreckage. The destroyed ships bringing back some unpleasant memories. Boa let out a sigh. "I remember seeing a sight like this. An entire ocean filled with remnants of good ships."

He closes his eyes. Letting out another sigh. "This must be one crazy whirlpool."

*Darkness looks sown, her pupils grow with fright. Darkness sees many wrecked ships from the whirlpool.* I.....I am guessing we're here..
