Welcome to the Kingdom Hearts RP
It was a clear and beautiful sunny day on Destiny Isles. The temperature was perfect and so was the breeze as it brushed the leaves of the palm trees. The waves gently rolled in and back, leaving a seashell or two on the wet sand.
Clear and beautiful were the sorts of days Finn enjoyed most of all, and days like those seemed incredibly frequent on the isles.
But how did he show his appreciation for a day so fine? Sleeping. He could've been swimming, swinging his staff around as "practice", catching fish, or doing any number of enjoyable things that involved actual movement.
But no, his mind was set on sleep, and that's what he was doing on the sandy shore. And snoring.
Azure Wave was sat at the end of the dock, next to the boat with his legs dangling off the edge, staring out to the mainland. His parents had sent him out here so he could learn to socialize, but honestly, he was so nervous he just wanted to go home.
"'Will admit, the weather's nice here, plus there's lots of water..." He said to himself.
Nobody knew exactly knew how long Finnian had been sleeping on the beach, but judging by the fact he'd stopped snoring, something was up.
It started with small twitches and shifts, turning over in his sleep, that sort of thing. Then the mumbling started; Mostly incoherent, but nonetheless disturbed.
This all ended when he woke with a sharp intake of breath, looking around rapidly upon finding himself where he was. He breathed a sigh of relief several seconds later.
"That same dream again..."
It wasn't often, but often enough to worry him. Every once in a while, in his slumber, he'd apparently fall into some... Place. A single pillar of stained glass, the colorful designs on it somehow... Incomplete?
That last part of it had at least made sense. But why was the dark silhouette of some form of horned creature trying to beat him up every time he went there?
No way to answer it laying around, though... And another nap's out of the question.
Just as he'd started thinking on exactly what he'd be occupying his time with, his ears twitched, managing to hear someone talking to himself. The voice was a bit hard to mistake for female...
Well, time for an introduction. The fox-boy had thought, not recognizing the voice he had heard.
And with that, he stood, picked up his staff, which had been lying next to him while he slept, and soon made his way over to the pier.
"You're lookin' a bit anxious there, friend." Finn had said, sitting himself down next to the green-haired person.
"Wha-huh?!" Azure jumped a little at the voice, turning to see the fox boy. Normally, he'd have been shocked, but he heard about fox people before. (Assuming they're normal here). "O-Oh, um, yeah..." He looked out back at the ocean. "S-Sorry, I just...like to sit on my own. Daydreaming, clearing my head, that kind of stuff. I'm fine."
To tell truth, he was a little bothered about a dream he had before coming here. Some giant pillar, and a voice telling him to pick some objects. He remembered picking the staff to keep, and "gave up" a shield. (Because I forgot to put it in the OCC)
"Ah, you see, when people tell me they're fine, it usually turns out they're not... Hey, I'm just speaking from personal experience. Which... I admittedly don't have much of..." Finn trailed off, looking away for a moment.
He resumed conversation rather quickly, though. "But oh well. I don't mean to pry, though. It's your business, and you don't even know my name! Speaking of which, why don't we fix that?"
Straightening up a bit, the Kitsune gave the best bow he could perform in a sitting position. "Finnian Serégon. A pleasure to meet you, daydreamer."
Azure shuffled away a slight bit. "...Azure. Azure Wave. Sorry, I'm...not so social...'S the reason my parents sent me out here."
"Well, they certainly picked a bad time, didn't they? Dunno about you, but this little place seems all but deserted to me!" Finn had said, shrugging afterwards. "Haven't seen hide nor hair of anyone today. Granted, I was probably sleeping the whole time, but never mind that."
"H-Hello...?" Called out a gentle voice from the shack. "Are... Are you new here...?"
Even if the voice was gentle, it still gave Azure a shock.
"Huh?" He called back. "Someone there?"
(BTW, Azure gets angry easily, so he may get the Darkness occasionly, like Terra.)
"Oh, right. Forgot about her..." Finnian said to himself, ears twitching as he heard the voice from the shack on the other end of the beach.
Standing up, the kitsune raised his voice. "Maybe you wanna come a bit closer?! I might be able to hear you well enough from all the way over there, but that doesn't mean the new kid does! Also I really don't like shouting like this, and I doubt that you like raising your voice either!"
Gypsi flinched from Finnian's shouting and she backed into the shack, slightly shaking. Only the top of her head and one of her antlers were showing.
The kitsune sighed, slapping a palm to his face. "Smooth, Finn. Real smooth... Alright, let's try something else..."
He then calmly hopped off the pier onto the beach, approaching the shack and stopping maybe about seven paces away, hoping not to startle the girl any further.
Finn spent a few seconds deciding on how he'd convince her to make an introduction, scratching the back of his head as he did so.
"Sorry for shouting like that... I didn't mean to give you a fright." He eventually said, keeping his voice low. "Um, you think maybe you can come out now? Meet the new guy? He's not very social either, if that's any comfort. I'd say you two would get along just fine."
Azure gulped; girls always made him nervous, even if they were shy.
He decided to keep sitting; if she was that shy, it'd be best to let Finn go alone, as not to overwhelm her.
Gypsi waited for a moment then slowly walked out. She stood in the doorway, her tail faintly swaying, "O-ok"
Finn gave a nod at seeing things progressing fairly smoothly. Turning, he gestured for Azure to come over, fearing that raising his voice again would cause a setback.
And, turning back to the girl whose name he totally didn't forget, he gave her what he hopes was a re-assuring smile.
Okay... Good progress. Honestly, what's the worst that could- NO! What's the best that could happen? Please don't do anything bad, fate, I didn't mean to tempt you!
Azure still sat over at the docks, hesitant to get up, before finally sighing lightly and slowly walking over. "Hi..." He said uneasily.
"Hi..." Gypsi responded shyly, "I... I'm Gypsi"
"So...what are you doing on this island?"
"I live here" She answered calmly.
Seeing the conversation starting to slow down (not that it was going all that fast to begin with, but still), Finn had decided to enter it. "That's all?" He asked. "Could've sworn I've seen ya doing other things around here. Can't remember for the life of me what it was, though. Honestly, memory problems seem to be a running theme for me..."
In seemingly an instant, the kitsune was at Azure's side, just a single pace away. "Anyway... I didn't hear you giving a name! And after Gyps gave hers? Shame on you..." He said with mock disappointment in his voice. The fact that he was still smiling ruined whatever serious effect he was going for. "It's only fair that you give yours in return. Unless it has hidden power or some such, then you have every right to keep your mouth shut, locked, barred, and what have you. You didn't give me a name with hidden powers, did you? That seems like it would be a terrible mistake. I mean, who knows how I'd abuse it? What if it basically let me use you like a puppet? What a horrible existence that would be."
Finn paused as if realizing something, then cleared his throat. "I'm talking too much, aren't I? Sorry. I'll just... be quiet now, for a while."
Azure backed up a bit. "...Azure Wave. Sorry..."
Gypsi was a bit stunned but then shook it off, "Okay... Anyway, I heard from my brother, Moon, at there would be some new arrivals coming to the island. Are you them?" She asked curiously.
"I think so. don't know if anyone else arrived here recently. I only got here this morning."
Blazing Sun had then teleported in. The only warning was a sudden gust of wind coming from the other side of the beach, then two and a half seconds later, a strange sound the moment she appeared. "Huh? What just--" She realized she was no longer in Ponyville, but in a unknown place she's never seen before.
"I don't know what just happened, but I sense several energies over there. Hopefully they're not aggressive." She trotted halfway to them, then just waited for them to notice. With her large, combat-oriented magic energy, she's kind of hard to miss.
((BTW, she appeared a little bit away from all of you, but still on the beach.))
Finn's ears had twitched as he heard two pairs of footsteps walking their way, and he immediately turned to point them out. "Well there they... are?"
For a moment, he just stared at the new arrival, rubbing his eyes a few seconds later and staring some more. Which turned out to be a bad idea, as staring was starting to give him a headache for reasons unknown to him.
"Um... Hello?" The kitsune then said.
Azure jumped at the new arrival. He heard this place was strange, but teleporting was starting to put him on edge. "Who's that?!"
"Hmm... Semi-aggressive, I guess?" She said, coming closer seeming casual. "... Never mind, just talking to myself. My name's Blazing Sun. You'd probably recognize me from my training literally in my own front yard back in Ponyville." She reduced her magic output to her minimum. "And no, I'm not explaining about my past unless it's specific. Anyway I was the one who teleported here... Honestly, I don't know how though..."
The moment the word "Ponyville" was mentioned, Finn's entire attitude had seemed to change. The instant his smile had faded, one would know things were going south.
"That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard." He'd said, his fists clenched even though he didn't seem to have any reason for doing so.
"You expect us to believe you come from some place called 'Ponyville'? That's just insulting. What's next? The sun and moon are yours to move as you please, perhaps? Whoever and whatever you really are, drop the prank attempt. It's not fooling anyone."
Something wasn't exactly right... This sudden shift of tone was a bit of an overreaction to what he seemed to believe was a prank.
"Ugh..." Blazing instantly realized, with the obvious expression on her face, that Finn hasn't been to her universe. "Try reading my memories then... Then again, with that small amount of magic energy that I'm sensing..." Her colors quickly changed slightly, showing that she's not messing around. "There's no way that's possible for you. Then again, you're probably suppressing your energy, and either way, I can't read minds myself." In the blink of an eye, she goes full-power, expecting this fox-like... Thing... Well whatever it is, Blazing expected it to try and attack. She rushed past Finn instantly, almost a teleport, but not really. Blazing REALLY wanted to attack too, but she had a feeling he just didn't understand. "Now, do you STILL think I'm messing around?"
((Important thing I probably should've mentioned earlier: The speed and magic suppressing are both results of her 10 year training, by herself, all in a row, day by day.))
In almost the blink of an eye, just as quickly as the equine thing had rushed past him, Finn had whirled around, his right hand closing around it's horn in almost an instant as he brought himself face to face with it.
"Not anymore. As far as I'm concerned, you're bad news, little more than a hostile invader that doesn't belong in a peaceful place like this. So why don't you teleport back to your pretty pony princesses before I decide to snap your pretty little horn like a twig? I swear to Lu-"
The kitsune suddenly hissed in pain, releasing the unicorn as he put both hands to his head. Groaning, he sank to his knees as the pounding headache only intensified as something began to glow under the gauntlet on his right hand.
And as suddenly as it began, it all stopped. The aggression, the headache, the glow, all of it vanished in an instant. Finn, confused, released his grip on his own head, looking around for a moment as if he'd forgotten where he was for a moment.
It didn't take long for him to lay eyes upon the pony he'd just recently threatened. However... Something about him had changed. Like the fact that he was actually smiling at her.
"Oh, hello there. You're a rather colorful one aren't you? What's your name? When did you get here?"
Yeah, it seemed that he'd conveniently forgotten everything he'd done upon meeting her. How bizarre...
"Hm. Faster than I thought. At least I now know I have a rival. *Sigh* I knew that name was dumb, but there's no need to be annoying over it. I'm not the one who created it." She then thought she should just not talk about it until the kitsune, which she finally realized what he was, could either read minds, or understand that they both live in VERY different worlds. She started whispering to herself. "Maybe I shouldn't talk anymore. Though, on the other hoof... Eh, he's... Wait, I've never seen one of his kind before, how should I know his gender...? But what's with that--" She froze in place, not moving even a centimeter. WHAT!? What is that!? Where'd he get it!? ... I'mma break the forth wall... WHY DOES THAT LOOK LIKE MY ORIGINAL SELF'S INFINITY BRACELETS!?!? She started screaming at herself within her own mind.
Azure started to back away, this was getting way too weird for him.
((Sorry for the wait, I had an appointment. That's all I'll say.))
Okay... Calm down... Just don't say anything stupid. She thought to herself trying to calm down. It didn't help a lot, but at least it did, as she unfroze herself. She also knows what to do this time. 'Don't say anything stupid'.
"Straight to introductions, even after what just-- ... *Sigh* Never mind." She paused for a second to think. "If you think anything I say is fake, I can agree. My home has puns in the names of towns, and it's kinda... weird. Anyway, My name is Blazing Sun, I'm the physically strongest unicorn as far as I know, I could be wrong. I'm always training more and more on my own front yard, though I still dunno why. Incase you couldn't tell yet, we live in universes that are, most likely, FAR different from each other, so expect stupid names, stupid puns, and other stuff."
I hope I didn't mess up again... She thought to herself, closing her eyes, expecting another attack. It wasn't apparent that she expected it this time though.
"So there are other worlds..." Finn had said in amazement, almost a complete 180 from what his attitude had been about a minute or two ago. "And if you somehow managed to get here, does that mean... Maybe I could see other worlds, too?!"
The kitsune then paused for a brief moment, seemingly confused. "And... What Infinity Bracelets?"
Wait, what?
Gypsi slowly walked up to Blazing sun and gently petted her behind the ears. "Nice to meet you, Blazing. I'm Gypsi. Welcome to Destiny island" She spoke while scratching Blazing behind the ears.
Azure just crossed his arms, looking away. All he wanted to do was relax and listen to his headphones.
"So..." He said. "Can I go sit back down now?"
"To be honest, not even I know much about the Infin--" Gypsi, who was scratching her behind the ears, caused Blazing to stop, as well as fall flat on her stomach. "Hehe, keep doing that." She took a second to enjoy the feeling, then restarted. "Anyway, I don't know much about the Infinity Bracelets, but what I do know is that, obvious forth wall break, they're SERIOUSLY over-powered. Of course, I don't use them for a reason. Besides, they're not even mine. My original self, the OP one, is the one who has them. She lives in an alternate version of my home, and can travel through universes. Dunno why."
Azure slowly walked away, returning to the docks, and taking his headphones out and putting them on.
As he listened to his music, he could just make out a tiny speck of black in the distance.
"Storm clouds...?" He mumbled to himself. "Eh, it'll probably just pass us..."
(Not yet, Chrom)
"Hey Gypsi!" A eighteen year old boy with brown hair, dressed in gray jeans, and a tan shirt, walked from the tree hollowed home and approached them. "Just to let you know, dinners almost ready" He then looked at Kitsune, the other boy and the pony. "So, you're the new arrivals. I didn't expect a pony to come here, but all well" He laughed.
(I know, just foreshadowing because I don't know ^-^ )
Azure turned at the boy's voice, but thanks to his music, could only make out the word "dinner".
Standing again, he decided to wander around, seeing what was here.
"Well, it's going to be a while before the foods done. Gypsi, want to show everyone around?" He looked at Gypsi, who nodded, "Alright then. Come in after sunset ok? It'll be ready when you and them come in" And with that, he walked back to the house.
Azure spotted the plateau that was connected by a bridge. Curious about it, he reapproached the three.
"Uh, what's that place up there?" He asked Gypsi, pointing to it. "That tree's weird..."
Gypsi looked where Azure was pointing to then gave a gentle smile, "That's my favorite spot to watch the sunset and my brothers us it as a practice ground for their swordplay" She then looked at the Paopu tree, "And that weird looking tree is called a Paopu tree. It bares star-shaped fruit. Legend says that, 'if two people share one, their destines become intertwined. They remain apart of each other's lives no matter what' at least... That's what Metal said..." She blushed slightly.
"New arrival'? Excuse me, I've been around for as long as I can remember!" Finn had said somewhat loudly. "...Even if it isn't all that long, really." He said more quietly.
He then cleared his throat."Oh, and about the Paopu thing? I asked about that at some point, and I wasn't given a clear answer as to what sort of 'sharing' it means. For all I know, it could mean a simple toss to someone else bonds them both."
The kitsune paused and gave a little smile, looking off towards... Something. "Yes, that probably means what you think it means. By all means, go ahead and write those fanfics."
Before anyone could question it, Finn had already turned his attention back to the group. He was breaking certain walls a bit too often, and he knew it. Wouldn't be too long before people would have have to start paying for it. No, seriously, do you even know how expensive it is to repair it so often?!
"And speaking of swordplay...! Anyone feel up for a round or two, either now or in the near future, after this little tour of ours?"
Blazing hadn't realized the scratching had stopped a while ago, due to her spacing out. Though, her nose caught onto something. She recognized it as food, and came back to reality. "Is that... Food? Where is it? What is it? Can I have it?" She then remembered that one 'something' that happened earlier. Her ears flopped down. "... I should probably shut my mouth. Anyway, is there anyone properly capable of combat? Of course, other than my new rival..." She gestured towards Finn. "Now that I think of it..." Her ears became upright as she turned towards the kitsune. "I know I introduced myself, but what about you?"
"R-rival? Me? Whatever did I do to mark me as such?" Finnian had questioned, looking thoroughly confused. "Introduced... Oh, right, Sorry! Ah, Finnian Serégon, at your service, ma... Miss. I meant to say miss."
"If I told you, you'd probably snap, either at you or me, because of one word, which is the name of my hometown from what I know. Anyway, so Finnian or just Finn?"
"What do you mean, 'snap'? I don't just snap, I have far too much self control to just freak out over a single word! Oh, and either will work, but I prefer the shorter version."
"Ugh, fine." Her color changed to what it was before, signifying that she's at full power. "But first, let me tell you. Your ability to grapple my horn so easily AND without me noticing is a huge feat for those back home. At least I'm expecting anything this time." She stands up on her hind legs, her front hooves close to her chest. "I'll repeat the word. I promise I'll tell you what happens IF you snap." She shifts her stance a little, now making it obvious this is her fighting stance. "My home town is--... Actually, I'd be disappointed if you don't snap, just to be honest. As I was saying..." She finally throws a serious, combat ready expression. "It was Ponyville."
And the instant the forbidden word was mentioned, Finn froze up, frowning once more as he simply stared at the pony. For several moments this staring continued, the tension building up... until...
"Pff... Bwahahahaha! Oh, wow! That's the name of your hometown?! This is hilarious!"
The kitsune's laughter had caused him to collapse onto the ground, unable to catch his breath long enough to recover quite yet.
That's a bit odd. It couldn't have been that funny, could it?
"See, I TOLD you it was a dumb name!" She returned to a normal, more casual stance, but remaining at full power, just in case. She was only half as serious now. "Wait... Didn't you say you 'have far too much self control to just freak out over a single word'? Exact quote by the way. Now, show me your overflowing self control, because you're making yourself look like... Well, no offense, and I'll repeat that as needed, but you should know what I was going to say. Again, no offense."
[Gonna wait for everyone else, now. Don't wanna leave them in the dust.]
"This... Isn't freaking out! This is having the time of my life! Woo!" Finn had managed to choke out, only now managing to calm down.
For a moment, he simply laid there. In one quick motion, though, he had kicked up onto his feet.
"Okay, better now! See? Total self-control! Sort of! I didn't go mauling you or doing anything aggressive like you thought, so there!"
Azure couldn't help but snicker at the name as well, but he was also interested in the fruit, if only because he was really hungry now.
"But how are you supposed to get up there? I can't see any way. Do you just climb or something?"
Gypsi pointed to the shack, "There's a doorway through the shack that would take you to the bridge. Or, my brother's way, leap on top of the shack then jump right off to the bridge" Gypsi explained.
"Or, if you're willing to take a little swim, there's a ladder on that Plateau..." Finn had said, pointing towards the plateau in question. "Just swim around it a bit and you'll find it. I think it was built only to be a quick way to get back up when sparring partners knock each other off. By the way, getting knocked off means you lose. It isn't there all the time, though; Stormy night comes around, it'll get lost for sure. Once the sun comes down, the ladder gets put away. I think."
Azure nodded. "Okay, thanks."
He looked around. "Don't want to sound rude, but when's this food going to be done? I'm starving."
"Moon said it'll be done by sunset. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. My brother, Metal, actually brought these things called struggle swords for swordplay. He said it's safer to use those than the wooden swords" Gypsi pointed to the large tree, "He placed them in the secret cave, just behind the large tree. You're welcome to look inside if you want"
"Struggle? I know about that!"
With that Azure took off, quite quickly, to the cave entrance, but stopped once he reached it.
"Um...you sure it's safe to go in here...?"
"I'll go with you." Blazing had stepped forward. "If danger comes, I'll help. I'm stronger than I look you know, thanks to ten years of physical strength, mental speed, and magic power training." She teleports up to Azure, with no obvious sign of the 'classic' pony teleportation style. "By the way, I don't remember your name, if you even told me. So, what's your name?"
"Oh, um, Azure." He said, before slowly walking into the cave.
(Just a wonder, when the storm comes, do we go to other franchise worlds?)
(The storm comes in after the characters talk to Ansem *the man in the brown cloak* and This is Kingdom Hearts, so you do get to go to other worlds)
Gypsi enters the cave and looks around for the Struggle swords, "They've got to be around here, somewhere" She said to herself.
Blazing Sun came too, looking as well. "Hmmm... Swords don't have an energy, so I can't sense them... Looks like we should use our eyes." She said, pointing out the obvious... Twice.
Azure looked a little stiff; he never was any good with the dark.
"I can't see a t-thing...plus it's cold-waagh!"
He tripped over something.
"Oww...I think I found them..."
"Of course it's safe!" Finn had said before he'd entered the "secret" cavern. "The only living being that comes around this island other than us, is the fish."
Though I do know a few tricks for if the time comes around... He'd then thought, before shaking his head and joining the others inside.
Fast forward a few minutes and we're back in the present. In the cave.
It was a little cramped. And dark. And cold.
"Gimme a moment..." The kitsune muttered, reaching for his staff. As soon as he'd grabbed it, he tapped it once against the ground and raised it above his head. Almost immediately after, a bright blue ball of what looked like fire appeared at the tip of the weapon, providing some much-needed light.
"Just a little thing I'd picked up on. Nothing special." Was all Finn had to say about it, somehow transferring the fireball to his hand as he knelt down next to Azure, recognizing the brightly colored clubs he'd tripped over. Well, it was more likely he'd tripped over a root if one had to be honest, but the weapons laid nearby nonetheless.
"Yep, that would probably be them, alright. ...You need any help, there?"
"Hey, you found them! Great, let's gather them and-" A strange and dark presence suddenly appeared in the cave with them, causing Gypsi to jump a bit. "W-who's there?" She called out.
"I've come to see the door to this world" A thin figure, dressed in a brown cloak and hood stood in the darkest part of the cave.

"Yep, that would probably be them, alright. ...You need any help, there?"
"Nah, I'm fine, and-"
Azure noticed the figure and, at Gypsi's words, instantly became nervous.
"Who the heck...?" He said slowly, grabbing one of the Struggle bats; a weird, wand-shaped one.
"What the-?" Finn had immediately turned to face the figure, shocked at the sudden appearance. "Who are you?! What are you even talking about?!"
He held his small fireball at the ready, ready to throw should the figure attack. Sure, it wouldn't hurt much, if at all, but with any luck it might set that cloak on fire.
"This world has been connected" He spoke in a dark, monotone voice.
"Wh-What do you mean?" Gypsi asked, shaking a bit.
"Tied to the darkness..." He replied, "Soon to be completely eclipsed"
"You... You better not be--" She paused once she had turned around. "Huh? Who... Are you?" She wondered, then going full power... For real this time. This time she went above a normal pony's limits, and reached her own.
Spoiler: >100% (Will be updating the looks of all 3 levels) show "Huh?" She started to look worried.
"W-whoever you are, stop scaring us. Wait! Where did you come from?" Gypsi's expression of fear turned to curiosity when she realize he wasn't from here.
"You do not yet know what lies beyond the door" He replied.
"What do you mean by that? You mean that door, there?" Finn had said, pointing at something along the cavern wall.
A door. A door with neither handle nor keyhole, was what he was pointing at. Difficult to see at first in the dark, but visible plain as day now that it was pointed out.
"Wait... And you know? Come on, give an actual answer, already!"
"There is so very much to learn" He continued, "You understand so little"
"Oh, do I, then? Looks like I'll just have to go out and learn for myself, since you're being so darned unclear about what I apparently understand next to nothing about!" The kitsune said loudly.
"..." Gypsi stayed quite when Finn spoke.
"A meaningless effort" He spoke, completely unfazed by Finn's words, "One who knows nothing can understand nothing"
Finn looked ready to realiate, but just as he opened his mouth to do so, it snapped shut. Apparently, he changed his mind. "I've lost patience with your heartless attitude, sir." He said a few seconds after. "I'm not one to resort to such methods, but If you don't get out of our hair in the next minute or so, this argument will be sure to escalate quickly."
"I can agree with that, but... His strange aura... It's very strong. I'd rather not fight him, not now at least. Rather wait 'til I get stronger.
Just before anyone could react, the figure was engulfed by a black void. As quickly as it appeared, it vanished, along with the stranger.
(Dang it, all that had to happen once I went to bed.)
Azure stood there, contemplating throwing the bat at the guy, before he dissapeared.
"Um...who the flying feather was that...?"
( If you would have thrown that at him, your head would have been in the wall XD )
"I... I don't know. Let's just grab the bats and head for the miniature island, ok?" She forced a smile. Her expression doesn't show it, but in her heart... she was scared.
Azure really didn't think it was the time for games, especially when some guy just dissapeared in front of them.
"Ok, but...you mind if I hang on to this bat for a little? Just in case that guy's still on the island."
Gypsi picked up a struggle sword that resembled a rapier, "Good idea. Though, I think we're safe as long as Moon is here" Then she gave a soft smile, "Come on. Let's try these out" Then she walked out of the cave.
"To be honest..." Blazing Sun said, turning back to look at the others. "I don't know who or what he is, but something's going on. I feel a strange energy spike of some sort, completely unrecognizable. I think I'll need a weapon too." She took a sword in between the size of a long sword and a short sword. Finally, one of her thoughts caught her attention. Though, it seemed to be more like a... Memory. Almost as if she was seeing the future... but she wasn't as far as she knew. It seemed like a purple sky, with a strange hole in it. She then felt like she was getting sucked in through the sky... Then it all stopped. She woke up, breathing heavily, with an obvious scared expression.
((This is a new one, by the way. I got the vision idea from Finn having one of some pillars. I'm sure it's not gonna happen again. Also, she will be unable to tell the others, if you're going to ask that. Mostly because she doesn't understand a thing that happened in the vision.))
(Shulk power!)
Azure cautiously stepped over to the featureless door. "What's behind this door, though?"
((I know right?!))
"Huh? Oh, I don't know..." She said, still scared. "Why not we check? You know, once we have the means to?"
"I don't see any way of opening it, though..."
Jogging a little on the spot, Azure then ran into the door, hoping to barge it open. Painfully, it didn't work.
(Did we even find out what was behind that thing in KH?)
[Something something hearts. It's not exactly told, from what I remember, but shown to you via cutscene at some point. Hint: Bad things really want what's on the other side of it.]
Finn had sighed with relief on seeing the figure leave. The method, though, left him with a very bad feeling...
"Honestly, I don't know what I was intending to do..." He admitted.
"And I don't know what you were trying to do. Throwing your weight at it won't help, not when you don't really have all that much of it."
The kitsune walked up to the door, looking it over. "You want a door open, you give it a good KICK!"
There was a loud thud as his foot slammed into it via a surprisingly powerful side kick, but the door did not give in the slightest. It might as well have been a part of the wall painted to look like a door, for all the good his kick had done.
"Actually, yeah, that's not opening up. And I got a real funny feeling about it, too... I don't think opening it's a good idea. A very bad one, actually."
Shrugging, he went over to the pile of struggle bats, looking over it briefly before picking out a longer one, a bat with a fairly small "blade", but one that was stuck to the end of a fairly long pole.
Having extinguished the fireball that had been in his hand, he had some difficulty comparing it with his staff, which was actually far shorter.
Tossing the spear-like bat back, he picked out another, wand-shaped one. Shorter than his staff, but it felt better in his hand than that other bat.
"Anyway, I'll be heading out to that plateau now. Later!" Waving goodbye, Finn tried to leave, only for his face to run right into a wall, due to his vision still adjusting to the loss of illumination. His second attempt worked out a bit better, though.
"H-Hey, wait up!"
Not wanting to be the last out the cave, Azure darted out after them, following to the plateau.
"Hm. I guess there's nothing left in here..." She said, teleporting out of the cave, and proceeded to try and catch up. "Well... *Sigh* This better be good."
Gypsi walked through the shack, over the bridge and onto the plateau, "It's really beautiful outside... despite that cloud in the distance"
(Definitley know what world I'm going to first :) )
"Yeah, I saw those clouds earlier. Here's hoping they just pass us."
Azure then turned his attention back to the bat he had.
"Never was good at fightin' without a weapon. Too weak."
"Oh, please. Strength isn't everything, pal." Finn had said as he lounged about on the paopu tree. "Don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to be hurtful or anything. I'm just saying, raw strength isn't the absolute answer to fighting. I mean, look at me! Do I look tough with these noodles I call arms? 'Course not, but I get along fine."
He then sat up, giving a glance at his new weapon. "But speaking of fighting... Might I suggest to everyone present, a round or two of sparring? I mean, our food's apparently taking forever and a half, so why not waste some time? The most we'd all have to worry about is a bit of bruising, and some soaked clothing if someone falls off."
"I'll sit this one out. Rather be asked by someone who is worthy... Like Finn, who's my rival as I said." She remembers the reason that she made the kitsune her rival. "Speaking of which, would anyone be willing to fill him in as for why he's my rival? Don't worry, I'll defend anyone that falls victim to him 'snapping'."
"I'm sorry, what?" The kitsune was looking fairly nonplussed at this point, as in surprised and more than a bit confused. "I don't get it, how are you going to defend someone from a laughing fit? Earplugs? And sure, your hometown's name is pretty funny, no offense, but you can't get the same reaction twice! And I'm quite sure I'm not going to up and assault anyone over it!"
"I'll try it, then." Azure said after a pause, swinging the bat around a little, before holding it in reverse.
"You do that too?" Gypsi asked Azure, "Metal does the same" She then smiled.
"Mind if I join" A voice spoke up. Gypsi turned to see Moon on the bridge, with his black struggle sword.
(Just to let you know, Moon's fighting style is similar to Riku's)
(I don't want to look like I'm ripping off Ventus, that's actually how I hold bats/swords IRL ^-^ )
"Oh, you're...Moon?" Azure asked. "I'm Azure."
"Nice to meet you" He greeted back, "And if your wondering about dinner, it's cooling down right now. It'll be a few minutes before it's done"
"... I'm gonna have to explain myself, aren't I? The strange thing is... You really did assault me, and you even threatened to break my horn, all because you thought I was lying? Dumbest reason I've ever heard." Then she remembers his gauntlet, and as a result, the light that she just barely noticed underneath it. "Though, what's the gauntlet for? And what was with you stopping mid-sentence when I noticed that light under it, you seemingly in pain, then just forgetting everything that happened right after I mentioned my home?
"That's just... ridiculous! That's not like me in the slightest!" Finn said loudly, staring at the unicorn as if she'd spontaneously grown a second head. However, a deep breath and a shake of the head managed to calm him down.
"I've had the gauntlets for as long as I could remember, ever since I was found washed up onto the beach." He said, ignoring his earlier outburst completely as he held out his armored hands for all to see. "I just have a habit of wearing them whenever, and they're not as restrictive as one might think."
"And you said something about a light?" He removed the gauntlet on his right hand. The only thing under the armor was a strange black mark (http://img03.deviantart.net/45e9/i/2006/064/e/f/kitsune_emblem_by_yzzif.jpg) on the back of his hand.
"I've had that for as long as I could remember, too. Couldn't tell you what it means, though, as I don't even know myself. Same goes for everything else; I can't answer if I don't know why or how. And unless the tattoo, or what I think is a tattoo, itself glowed... Well, I just can't see any of that story of yours happening... Sorry."
Azure walked over to the tree, sighing. "Hello? I said I'd spar..."
Gypsi approached Azure, "I'll spar with you" She softly smiled at him.
Azure nodded. "Ok then."
He then stepped back a bit, to the other side of the plateau.
"Ready?" He asked.
She nods before readying her struggle sword.
Azure didn't know whether to act smart and say ladies first. At any rate, he put his headphones on, and slowly edged towards Gypsi.
Any serious emotion Finn had been experiencing at the moment had seemingly disappeared the moment he'd noticed that a round of sparring was about to start.
Replacing his gauntlet, the kitsune quickly hopped off the tree, struggle "wand" at the ready.
"Hey, I want in on this too! Shall we make this a three-way brawl, or do I have permission to face off against the "winner" of this match? Er, assuming you're both up to it, of course."
Moon approached and gently grasped Finn's shoulder, "Who about you and her go up against me after their done" He looks at Him and Blazing, grinning at both of them.
Azure started moving very erraticaly; making sudden hops or weaves in random directions.
"Which way, which way...?" He said quietly to himself, before suddenly running full pelt at Gypsi, swinging the bat overhead at her.
The moment Azure leaped at Gypsi, her pupils turned into vertical slits. She ducked down and sped behind him.
"Two against one? Well aren't you just full of confidence..." Finn had said, before shrugging as he turned his head to better speak with Moon. "I honestly don't see it ending well for you, but alrighty then. You're on!"
With that out of the way, he turned his focus back to the mock-fight at hand.
"I don't see how she could duck under an overhand... Side-step, sure, but ducking? Eh, whatever works..." The kitsune had muttered to himself.
"She still got hit. Nicked her shoulder" Moon said, speaking his mind, "She still needs training in combat. I know Metal's been teaching her, but she's still out of practice" He said gently grasping his forehead.
Azure stumbled after Gypsi dodged, but managed to stop himself, and swing backward with both hands on the bat.
She blocked with the hilt, but the force of his attack, nearly knocked her over.
Azure went on instinct, and dove in a shoulder tackle at Gypsi, hoping to knock her down.
Gypsi couldn't react in time when Azure tackled her, but she managed to grab onto his shoulders and pull him down as she fell.
"Waaagh!"
Azure crashed to the floor with her, dropping his bat as well.
Gypsi groaned from the impact. Opening her eyes, she saw that he was right over her, and her arms were around his neck. Her cheeks turned a deep crimson as her pupils turned back and shrunk.
Azure stopped his fall with his hands, before noticing as well.
"Uh....! I-I-UM-I...!"
"Well, if you two are done, you're welcome to share Paopu fruit while the three of us spar" Moon laughed.
His joke made Gypsi's blush become brighter.
Azure contemplated running and jumping off the plateau and swimming away as fast as an anime character, but decided against it.
Instead, he rolled away, blushing as well, and still stammering.
"Well... That was... Weird. Though, they didn't mean for it to happen." She turned to see Moon. "Also, I'd be willing to see your strength. By the way, I don't think I got your name, even if you did mention it earlier. What's your name?"
"My name is Moon" He answered, "Shall we begin?"
"Sure Moon, but let's not forget about Finn." She looks towards Finn... Again. "So, are you ready?"
Nodding, the kitsune lowered his body into what seemed to be a combat stance as he tightened his grip on the struggle bat.
"Ready as I'll ever be." He'd said. "But remember, no using magic if you happen to know any. It's an unfair advantage, and just plain rude in this case."
"Oh, I won't be needing magic" Moon said, grinning darkly.
Gypsi helped Azure up and guided him to sit on the paopu tree.
"It makes sense. Using magic makes things WAY to complicated." She looks down on her struggle bat. "Though, I can't choose between using this or not..."
"Um...thanks." Azure stuttered, picking up the bat and sitting on the tree, ready to watch the others.
"Are you ready?" He asked as he readied his bat the same style Riku does.
Gypsi saw a glare behind Moon's smile, which to her, was a smirk. "Moon..." She whispered.
Blazing lowers her stance a little, taking her bat using levitation magic and moving it in front of her. It was tilted forward a little, about 40 degrees. "Ready. Finn, you ready?"
"Ready." Finn said without breaking visual contact with who would be his opponent. "Let's get this started already."
"You first" Moon said to the both of them.
Blazing increased her power level to 75%, then rushed Moon with quick and powerful attacks with her bat. It was clear she was holding back due to earlier, but her intentions for starting with a rush attack, which was to see how well he could hold up, were well hidden.
((By the way, the power level thing basically says what percentage of her power she's using. Apparently, it also changes her appearance, depending on the percentage.))
Moon's blocked Blazing's attacks. After he parried her, he swung and struck her nerve point, causing her to lose focus of her telepathy.
As Moon focused on his current opponent, that was the point when Finn decided it was his moment to strike, rapidly closing in and grabbing Moon's wrist with his free hand, planting a foot into his stomach, and then shoving him away with it.
"You alright, there?" The kitsune asked Blazing as he took up a defensive stance, prepared for the next attack.
A sudden dark power over came Moon as he dropped his sword, grabbing Finn's leg and flinging him into the water.
(Moon's lost it now O_o)
The hit did knock her down, but thanks to experience with that type of attack, she's still awake. Wide awake. Dang... You've got skill... Lots of it. It seemed to her that it was harder to use her magic, keeping her from picking up her bat with it. Then she saw Finn get thrown. She looks up to Moon again and had an idea. "Though, I guess it couldn't hurt to try something..." She stands up, picking up her bat with her hooves and concentrating.
Moon stomped on the edge of his bat, causing it to fling upwards and caught it in mid air, "Ready?" He asked darkly, pointing his bat at Blazing.
"WHOA!" Finn couldn't help but yell as he found himself being flung. There was no splash, however, and moments later the kitsune had climbed back up onto the plateau, having somehow caught hold of the ladder before hitting the water.
And he didn't look happy about what just happened, or what had almost happened.
"Alright, if that's the game you want to play, buddy..." He'd said, calmly taking up a defensive stance once more.
Strange, small pieces of yellow lightning starts flying around Blazing. "So that's how you wanna play, using darkness to your advantage as far as I know? Honestly..." The lightning was getting intense now. There weren't any clouds creating any lightning at the time either, so it was clear she was the one generating it. Her color changed into her 100% form, but it continued. "I'm used to having to deal with the darkness."
She suddenly exploded, not literally, but with magic energy. Once they could see her, it was clear she has changed. This was her Drive Form at 100%. She smiles. "Looks like it's a Light verses Darkness matchup. Let's see who wins." She took a stance similar to Cloud Strife again, this time holding the bat with her hooves. This made it quite obvious to those who played it... Which was most likely only her. "You first."
Azure hid behind the tree. "I-Is this still a spar...?!"
Before Moon did anything, Gyspi ran out between them, "Stop it!" she yelled out.
The moment Moon heard her voice, the darkness dissolved from him, making him snap back to his senses.
"... Honestly, I was hoping to test this form at full power for once, but I guess..." She turned off her Drive Form, suppressing her power back to a more comfortable level. "I guess that was a good thing... I guess."
"So much for that, then..." Finn had said, tossing aside his bat in ill-concealed frustration. "Right when things were starting to get interesting, too!"
He then sighed, shaking his head. "Oh well, I got my fight in the end, even if it did end abruptly."
Moon Shook his head to get his thoughts straight then spoke up, "Let's go inside. I think the food is ready"
*Marble wakes up on a shore*
Marble : how did i got here?
Azure slowly emerged from behind the tree, before following the others inside.
*Marble secretly follows everyone inside*
Marble : hmm mabe they can tell me what this place is?
Blazing sighed. "Oh, whatever. At least I get food." She proceeds to trot over to the house, her head pointing downward.
Gypsi's ears twitches a bit, but ignored it and went to the house.
Moon went over to the Paopu tree and plucked one of the fruit, "Hey!" He called out to Azure before tossing the fruit to him, "Keep one. Or if you want, you can share it with Gypsi" Then he walked to the house, laughing a bit.
Azure looked from him, to Gypsi, then back, embarresed. Sighing, he began examining the fruit.
"What's so special about this fruit...?" He wondered aloud, before continuing to follow the others.
*Marble Gasped as she noticed the Fruit*
"I made Sea-side stew, and I added some seagull egg, just for this special welcome to Destiny Isle"
Gypsi let out a loud Yay!, her tail wag in a frenzy.
*Marble Shrugged and went quietly inside*
"If I had to guess, I'd say it's the shape of it. You ignore the legends, it's just a star-shaped fruit. And the stars are a pretty fascinating thing, after all." Said a certain kitsune as he passed Azure, shrugging before pausing and looking back at him, an odd grin on his face.
"Don't be too surprised if you start seeing that Moon kid a lot more, though. Remember what I said about the legend's definition of sharing being vague?"
Chuckling for a moment, Finn then shook his head. "But in all seriousness, it's probably a load of nonsense. Don't worry about it too much. Anyway, see you inside."
And with that, he'd left, following the rest of the group indoors.
Marble : Fool that Fruit contains more power then you can imagine! its called the Fruit of power and it will be mine soon really soon... *Marble continues following the group secretly but almost gets spotted by illusion*
(NO. IT'S NOT. STOP JACKING EVERYTHING >:( )
(excuse me? Marble Doesnt know that that fruit isnt the one she is looking for it just looks similar to it thats why she assumes its the one she is looking for)
(We already decided what it was. I don't want to sound rude, but have you played Kingdom Hearts? You can't just decide what something is, when we've already done that!)
((YOU KNOW WHAT? FORGET IT))
*Marble continues following the group unnoticed*
(The Paopu fruit ties destinies together when two people share one)
Moon entered the home, followed by Gypsi, who sat at the table.
@Misty Fly @Chromastone64 please let's not turn this thread into a flame war.
(sorry)
Azure entered indoors with the rest, waiting for permission before sitting down or anything like that.
*Marble Quietly follows them*
Blazing simply waited outside, still a little upset for being unable to fight anything 'entertaining'.
Finn casually walked past the upset unicorn, giving only a glance as he did so. Before pausing, anyway. "You're not hungry, Blaze? 'Blaze' just rolls off my tongue easier. But if it offends..." He then said.

Thank you...
Hey want to join?
"Sorry. It's just... It's just that I've never had a good fight for a long while. Not even before I came here." She paused, as for some reason, she remembered something back at her home. It was the large collection of fighting games she has, alongside her Ebox One. "Wait... Maybe, if I can't fight anyone here, maybe I can in a video game? Please tell me you know what those are."
"Oh... I see." Was the Kitsune's response, not long before he began scratching at the back of his head. "But... I'm afraid I have to be the bearer of bad news and tell you I don't know what these 'video games' are. Games, sure, but video?"
He simply stared for a few moments, expression unreadable as he... "Pff..." No, wait... Why was he grinning all of a sudden?
"Oh man, I can't do it... I'm just pullin' your tail! 'Course I know what video is! Thing is, there's no electricity that I know of on this island. But who knows, really? Not me, and our hosts may surprise you..."
To Finn's credit, he refrained from bursting out laughing. A little bit of chuckling, but he calmed down almost immediately. "Anyway, you should probably head inside, too, hungry or not. You're not going to get that fight by just sitting around out here. Maybe tomorrow we'll have a decent match? Heck, I'll go a round or two against you if that would help. Not right now though, I'm starving, but soon enough."
And with that, he then proceeded towards his original destination, but not without one last thing to say.
"After all, we're rivals, aren't we?"
((Now that I think of it, Blaze DOES roll off the tongue better. Thanks Finn! :D))
Blaze smiled, her head turning toward the kitsune. "Heh, yeah. I do need something to eat, so I'm coming. Anyway, about the 'no electricity on the island', let's just say..." Her smile turned into a confident grin. "I have ways of creating it. I guess it's a benefit of knowing how to turn solar energy into other energies with my own body." She gets up, her face turning back into a normal smile, as she walks inside with Finn. "So, what are we having?"
"Sea-side stew with seagull egg. Mind you, I don't know what's actually been put into the stew, so... Eh." Finn shrugged. "All I know is it's food, and I'm not going to turn my nose up at a free meal. You might want to ask, though, make sure it's edible for you. After all, nobody here knows what equines like you can and can't eat."
Before long, he'd reached the table, and after giving everyone present a little wave, pulled out a chair for Blaze. That was the point he seemed to realize something, as he looked back and forth from the Unicorn to the chair.
"Oh... This looks like it could be awkward. Sorry, but I'm not sure if there's any furniture here for anyone that doesn't walk on two legs. In fact, I'm almost positive there isn't. I mean, you don't really see talking equines around here..."
Hearing the two mention games reminded Azure of something; he'd bought his HDS (I'm sorry X3 ) with him to the island. Opening his bag quickly, he checked to see if it was there. Luckily, it was.
"I, uh, take it we can sit...?" He asked.
*Marble looked at Kitsune *
Marble : simple yet not easy.. lets see if they will take the bait *she aims her bow and shoots at Kitsune but the arrow lands right next to... her/him ? *
darn it ! i should have aimed better lets just hope he wont notice me
The Kitsune sighed deeply. [glow=red,2,300]"I can hear you, you know..."[/glow] He suddenly said in an alarmingly menacing fashion, smile turning right into an angry snarl, teeth bared (with a few too many of them being sharp and pointy.) as he turned to face the direction the arrow was shot from. Fox-like ears, remember?
Just as suddenly as Finn's mood turned nasty, it turned immediately back into at least an attempt to be hospitable. At least his teeth weren't bared. That was a bit freaky.
"Now, if you'll just come inside, have a nice bowl of stew like everyone else (assuming we have extra...), and don't try to stick me or anyone else with arrows, I might just overlook what you tried to do. Sound good?"
Marble : you got it as long as noone will try that on me Lead the way..
Gypsi pulls a chair out for Azure, "Here ya go"
Moon places a steel pot on the table, "If your wondering what's in this, it's Carrots, brown Mushrooms, Fish and Seaweed. The good Seaweed" Said as he filled the bowls.
"Well, I can't eat meat, so if the egg has meat in it, like an unborn seagull, I can't eat it. Can't eat the fish either. I dunno about anything else. Us ponies, which I prefer you to call our kind by that, are herbivores, so there's that." Blaze saw Azure's bag. "Not to be nosy, but you wouldn't happened to have anything interesting in that bag of yours, would you?"
Marble : we have meat?

"Well, I never expected ponies to be here... So." Moon opens a cupboard and pulls out a couple of flowers and four coconuts, "Will these satisfy?" He asked
"Sure." She says, taking the flowers and coconuts. "Thank you." She then turned her head when she heard 'small game system'. "What games does the system have? I love video games by the way, so I'd love to know."
"Eh...some action ones, a court simulator, mostly RPGs..." Azure tried listing from his head.
"Oh, cool. Though, I'm thinking of a game with the word 'Fantasy' in the name. Can't quite remember the name, though... She said, trying to remember her world's version of 'Final Fantasy VII'. Either way, do you have the 7th one?"
"Well, it looks like they're all getting along just fine..." Finn said to himself, a bowl of stew already in front of him as he sat at the table. He seemed to have gotten a bowl of stew for himself when nobody had been watching...
Before long, however, his gaze turned to the newest pony at the table. Marble. "Don't think you're off the hook just yet, Miss Star. I still want to know why you thought it was a good idea to try and turn me into a pincushion."
Wait... Miss Star? Is that her name? How do I know that...?
Marble : how do you know my name exactly?
Gypsi got up, walked over to Marble and started to pet her, "Hello. I'm Gypsi. What's your name?"
Marble : i.m Marble Star

I Think I know the series you're talking about, but I can never remember the name...either way, yeah, I do, but I personally find the 9th an 10th ones to be the best."
"I... Don't know. Have we perhaps met before? If so, then I'm afraid I can't remember the... encounter..."
The kitsune trailed off as he stared at Marble, overwhelmed by a sense of extreme deja-vu. For a moment, he was not staring at an unknown unicorn in the indoor interior of Gyspi and Moon's home, but at the smiling face of one meeting once more with an old friend they'd reunited with in a bustling city...
"Ach... Sorry, headache." Finn had said, shaking his head as his vision returned to normal. Unbeknownst to him, the back of his right hand had been emitting a faint glow while he'd been experiencing that sensation of deja-vu.
"And I'll be asking the questions, Marbey. Why attack me?"
Marble : well i dont know honestly i.m sorry and wait Kitsune?
"You don't know why- You just-! Ugh, nevermind..." The kitsune had said, rubbing at his head. "And my name is Finnian, otherwise known as Finn. Not 'Kitsune'. That's like me calling you 'Pony'. Anyway... You have a question, it seems?"
Marble : by the way how did you spotted me? and how do you know my name?
"Ears." Finn said, pointing at his now-twitching fox ears. "Let's just say they're not decoration. I heard your arrow coming at me, and your muttering to yourself afterward. Now for your second question... Other than the obvious answer that you just mentioned it, I told you my answer already... I. Don't. Know."
Marble : i guess i should have been more quiet then but something tells me that wouldnt have helped

"Well, I've never played number 7, but I want to because of Cloud. It's where I got that stance just before the battle was interrupted, you know? I'm happy it's getting a remake, so I can play it on my next-gen consoles."
"You're right. If I really focused, I could probably have heard your heartbeat!" Finn said with a grin on his face. "Kidding, of course. You need to lighten up a bit! Have some flowers, or coconuts! I'm sure our old pal Moon here's still got some left."
Marble : mabe you could teach me that technique aswell?
"Technique? What, of lightening up? Oh, hearing really good, maybe?" Finn asked, a bit confused. He then shook his head. "Ain't something I can teach you. Besides, you've got good ears of your own already. You just gotta use them, that's all."
A moment of silence...
"I said I was kidding about hearing your heartbeat..."
Marble : kidding what are you...*suddenly an arrow strikes right next to her* well what? karma i guess
"Kidding, as in joking. A jest, intended to amuse. I don't know what else to tell you." Finn said, before waving his hand as the arrow faded away, not even leaving a mark in the table. [1] "That was mine. Had to interrupt you for a moment. Don't worry, it wasn't real."
[1. If you want fighting or any sort of conflict, wait for the RP to advance a bit more, at least until night-time. That would probably be when things get interesting. No need to bring these things in out of pretty much nowhere.]
Marble : hey wanna try out my bow?
[This will be my last post until the others have made their own. Timber in particular. I don't want to go too far and leave a whole page of posts.]
Finn had begun uncomfortably shifting in his seat, cringing as he did so. "Eh... I'd really rather not... I don't really like those kinds of weapons. Sharp, pointy things aren't what I really want anything to do with..."
*Marble Nods*
I kinda wanna ask the others if they saw my stance earlier... Blaze thought to herself. But I don't think it matters... Though, now i wanna know something from Finn. She then looked over at the jokester of a kitsune, almost staring. Her eyes had an 'A' on it too, almost like the Ebox One's A button. She sent over a little energy through her eyes, hopefully signaling Finnian to look over to her. When he does look to her, she's also hoping that whatever reason he would think Blaze would do that, it wasn't serious.
Marble : well this should be interesting
Gypsi sat back down and ate. Not a minute after, she finished her food, as if she inhaled it in one gulp.
Moon placed the pot in the sink and said, "It's getting late. Probably should head for bed. I'll be on the small island if you need me" And with that, Moon walked to the door and left.
Finn's stew had disappeared as well, his bowl looking as if it had been licked clean. It seems that the kitsune's appetite had been particularly voracious tonight. It's a wonder he didn't ask for seconds. Or perhaps he helped himself? He was clearly capable of snatching a bowl without notice.
With nothing better to do, he couldn't help but notice Blaze making weird, wingding eyes [1] at him. And he didn't know what an A button was supposed to represent...
A shame he couldn't do the same, what with his eyes being closed all the time and all. It'd be a real effort, to say the least.
"Something up, Blaze? You're doing the cartoon eyes thingy." Finn finally asked, looking directly at her with a curious look on his face.
[1. Essentially the trope where one's eyes turn to dollar signs or other symbols. And yes, tvtropes has ruined my life. Sort of.]
"Just a question... What kinds of video games have you play during the entire time you've existed?" She said, then turning her head to literally inhale a couple flowers, chewing and swallowing them. "Oh sorry, I just wanted to reference an old game character. I believe it's name was Kirby."
"As far as I remember, none. It's real weird, though, I can still tell that you're referring to a certain pink puffball that eats things alive and copies their powers. Just one more thing I don't understand, I suppose..."
The Kitsune had said, simply shrugging.
Soon, he too stood up, heading for the door. "I'll be where Moon's at. The plateau. Gonna watch the sun set before I try to decide what time I'm going to bed. I'm a bit of a night owl, so that will probably be incredibly late if the weather stay good."
Azure ate and finished his food too, before pulling the fruit out of his bag, debating whether to actually ask Gypsi if she wanted a bit.
Gypsi picked up her bowl and placed it in the sink as well. As she was about the clean the dishes, her stomach growled loudly, "Never satisfied, huh...?" she said to herself.
She turns and sees Azure holding something, "Whatcha got there?" she asked.
Azure jumped a little in his seat. "Huh? O-Oh, just this fruit. Moon gave it to me."
It didn't take long at all for Finn to make his way to the plateau, and upon crossing the bridge, he soon sat himself down cross-legged next to the paopu tree, watching as the sun began to set in the distance.
"So." He soon said, assuming Moon was nearby. He did hear him say he'd be on the "small island", so... "Interesting day, wasn't it?"
*Marble went after Finn*
Moon was leaning against the base of the Paopu tree with his arms folded, He nodded, "Very" responding back.
Azure rubbed the back of his head. "Do you, uh...want a bit, Gypsi?"
"Yeah..." Finn had said to himself, staring off into the sunset. As he did so, he could not help but notice dark clouds in the distance, and his ears began twitching as he heard hoofsteps crossing the bridge, and yet not reacting to the sound in the slightest otherwise.
"Looks like we might be in for some rain tomorrow. Or at worst, a storm. You make sure the boats were tied to the pier? Tightly? I'm almost 100% sure that nobody wants them drifting off on us in the night."
Without warning, he stood up, and hopped up onto the tree, looking closely at the fruit hanging off of it.
"You know, I've never actually tried any of these... Sure, the legend's nice and all, but it would kinda get ruined if the fruit was, you know... not good. You ever had some, Moon? If so, how was it? And before you even think of it, don't even joke about sharing. It's totally serious questions I'm asking here."
[Edit: You'd think I would notice incomplete sentences the first time around...Apparently not.]
Marble : hey there...*she says to finn*
"Hm?" Finn turned to face the unicorn greeting him. "Hey to you, too! So, what's up? Anything happen when I left the table?"
Gypsi walked over and saw the fruit. She lightly covered her mouth and blushed, "You... want to share a Paopu fruit with me...?" She asked.
"The Paopu has a sweet flavor, Almost like candy. Not too tangy, not too juicy, just purely sweet" Moon answered.
"Moon told me to. Plus, there's no way I'll be able to eat the whole thing." Azure said, oblivious to the stories behind the fruit.
Blaze just watched. She was quite bored and had nothing to do anyway. Nothing... Wait, hold on. Wow... Just wow. He really shouldn't of said that. Oh well, lets just see what happens.
Gypsi was too lost in thought to hear what he just said. After snapping back, she replied, "O-ok..." and with that, she took hold of one half and broke it apart evenly. After taking the half, she slowly took a nibble out of the fruit.
Azure looked at the rest of the fruit, wondering if he said anything wrong. His lack of social skills often made things a little awkward.
Looking at the fruit, he examined it, before taking a bite. His face scrunched a bit from the sweet, but it wasn't that bad.
Gypsi then sat in an open chair and softly smiled, letting her tail sway a bit, deep in thought.
With a shrug, Finn turned his attention back to the fruit. Apparently, Marble hadn't quite found the words she wanted to say.
"All right, take your time. I can wait." He had said.
The kitsune was tempted to pick a Paopu from the tree at that point in time. However, he'd already eaten, and even if he hadn't he doubted he could eat the whole thing by himself.
It was just one of those things that really were better off being shared.
"You two better head in. I'll place the ladder away" Moon said, standing.
A sigh was heard. "I suppose you're right, it looks like a storm's coming in... A shame, really." Finnian said, dropping down off the tree and making his way back.
"You'll want to head inside as well, Marbey. There should be a few bunks left, if I remember right, and it would be an injustice if you were forced to sleep on the floor."
And with that, he passed the unicorn, and had soon walked off out of sight.
Marble : wait can you show me those bunks? *she follows fin*
"Right up... there." Finn had said, pointing at the largest of the trees on the island, in the center. "...Is where I sleep when the weather's bad. Now, I didn't know where the extra bunks are, I simply assumed there would be some. I do know, however, that there are, in fact, extra beds up in that treehouse. Not that much of a difference between the two, but oh well..."
"And call me crazy, but I think we've already been up there... How am I supposed to know what house we were previously in, with the absolute "abundance" of details given? Ach, doesn't matter..."
"Or... you could crash in the seaside shack here. I know for a fact that there's a mattress in there; all you'd need is a blanket and you're pretty much set. It's cramped and dark, though, so I honestly can't see anyone willingly using it."
The kitsune started scratching the back of his neck. "Well, I haven't actually shown any of it, but you should be able to find something quite easily.
