Predestine birth name was Chrysant and she was born and raised in Hollow Shadow. Her mother, a unicorn, and father, a earth pony, both were farmers. As her parents were busy with work, Chrysant would play in the woods with her Scops Owl name Feather. She didn't have many friends since most of the kids thought her parents were weird. One day while chasing Feather, she found a little shack. That's where she met her first friend, an old deer name Espíritu. The old deer was a witch doctor and would make potions and herbs to cure witchcraft. Espríritu had a son name Foliage who soon became Chrystant first friend. At first, Chrystant was kicked off the property but Espíritu warmed up to the filly. Chrystant would spend most of her free time at Espíritu's house. She would watch the old deer make potion and play hide-n-seek with Foliage. Espíritu would teach Chrystant and Foliage about the other side and magic beyond unicorn magic. Chrystant was interested in communicating with the other side, so Espíritu gave her a deck of tarot cards. After years of making potions and dancing in the woods with the deer family, Chrystant earned her cutie mark. Espíritu and Foliage held a special dinner to celebrate Chrystant's milestone. After the dinner, Chrystant ran home to tell her parents the good news. As she excitingly told them about her cutie mark, her parents became livid. They demanded that Chrystant tell them how she got that cutie mark and what has she been doing in the woods. Through tears, she explained how she was talking to the other side and all about the deer family. As her parents was arguing, Chrystant ran to her room to cry in her bed. She forced to stay in the house so the town wouldn't find out that she was a witch. Confused and scared, Chrystant would write notes to Espíritu and send them with her Scop Owl. After a month of sending letters and being locked in her room, the secret finally got out. The town was furious with Chrystant and wanted her gone. In the middle of the night, the town gathered around her house and started to throw fire and stones through her bedroom window. Her mom ran upstairs and dragged Chrystant out her room. Through tears, the two mares started to plan Chrystant escape. Her father was down stairs barricading the doors and yelling at Chrystant about how sorry he was. Her mother worked her magic and started to pack the family's things. As her parents tried to protect the family, Chrystant wrote Espíritu about the situation. She kissed her owl for good luck and let the owl go. Her mother ran in and grabbed Chrystant as she tried to use all her magic teleport them away from the burning house. As she tried to use her magic, Chrystant cried out to her father. He yelled out I love you before the two disappeared. The two teleported infront of Espíritu's house. Her mother fainted from using so much magic and Chrystant began to cry. Foliage quickly came outside and brought the fainted mare. Chrystant cried into Espíritu as she thought about how awful this night has been. Espíritu moved Chrystant to Foliage so she could handle the mare. After a month of laying low, Chrystant's mother felt better and was back to her old self. Espíritu and her mother decided that Hollow Shader was no longer safe for Chrystant. Chrystant's mother gave her a photo of their family, some bits and her old head bad. Espíritu gave her some herbs and an old magic book. As the two mothers kissed Chrystant goodbye, Foliage decided to join Chrystant on her journey. While Espíritu started to argue with Foliage, Chrystant's mom told her to never talk about what took place in this woods and gave her a new name: Predestine. With her new name and best friend, Predestine left in the dead of night. The two didn't know where to go but they wandered around from town to town. Predestine would make money by offering her fortune telling service. After years of angier and sadness, Predestine started to make deals with the other side. Foliage tried to stop her, but he couldn't break through to her. The other side has twisted Predestine's mind and now she is obsessed with magic and potions. The two set roots in a little hut near a swamp in the Ever Free forest. Foliage stays home to work on his underground Witch Doctor business as Predestine travels from town to town, trying to forget the past.

Talent: Illusions and trickery of the highest quality. One genuinely can't tell if it's real or not.

Backstory: Illusion is no longer the pony some have known throughout the years. As Equestria changed for the worse, so did he... Apparently, he'd been hiding a very important fact through his whole life, an odd quirk in his bloodline that caused him, and him alone out of all his family, to be naturally attuned to the powers of chaos. It's unknown how this came about, but it most definitely was not through natural causes.

The only sign that this was the case were his rather odd and somewhat frightening eyes, the ones that previously he'd go to any lengths to conceal... It didn't take much persuasion for the embodiment of chaos himself to actually turn the colt, causing the young unicorn to turn his back on Harmony, even going so far as to petrify his own family.

The rest, is history...

Once upon a time Hazy Rhyme was a little white foal, with the name Beauty Belle. Her parents was two white unicorns who was from the family Belle, a unicorn genus that was very proud to be unicorns and over their white coats. The genus was hated tho, for it was said that if someone got a foal or married a pony who wasn't white nor was a unicorn was abandoned by the family, saying it wasn't their foal. Her parents had been really proud when they had a daughter with white fur and orange/red mane. They expected big things of her, like becoming a superstar. She wasn't very much for singing or being a model like the rest of the family. Instead she found fun writing. One time she wrote a story in school, and read it for her class. When she went of the stage and sat back in the class, she noticed some ink on her flank. She tried to wash it off, until the teacher came and told her that it was her cutiemark, she had a talent of writing. Her mother first got mad, but her dad liked great stories, so he was mostly happy, and after a while her mom got used to it.

Two years later she went to a park, her parents sitting on a bench nearby. Hazy(Beauty) however sat and wrote, she got inspiration in the park. But suddenly something happend. A changeling jumped on her, she screamed for her parents, and felt a little nibble on one of her legs. The next second a beam of light passed. Her dad chased of the changeling away and her mom helped her up. She went down to the river to wash her coat, and suddenly gave up a scream. Her leg where the changeling apperently bit her was getting draker and darker. She watched in the river as her coat got black and her mane all sloppy and got a greenish color. She turned around and saw her mom stand up on a hill before her. She looked down at her filly with her mane covering the eyes. Beauty yelled."Mom, help me!" But her mom just turned around and left her alone. She had heard stories about the family leaving their foals alone, but she never believed them. She was by that time 10 years old, left alone in the big Manehatten. She couldn't go to any friends, none of them would believe it was her. She then noticed her writing block and got an idea. She ran to the nearest book producer and showed them the story. The producer liked it and asked her name. She knew she couldn't go by the name Beauty Belle, so she quickly made up something when she looked around in the room. Hazy Rhyme. The producer was a nice old stallion and published it. She stayed by his house until she got money so she could live on a hotel.

Two years passed, and soon she didn't have enough money, the city was so loud so she had hard writing new stories. Her last book had been produced over 3 months ago, and she knew she wouldn't earn more money. She left with her half finished story to the producer for a last time. But the shop was closed and a mare walking by said that the stallion was too old to keep it up. Hazy was devistated. She had no where to go. No other pony would produce her book. She roamed down the street, had no hope left. She then met some ponies who were taking a trip to Manehatten. They went up to her and asked for directions. She didn't know what to answer, she had almost never talked to anypony except the producer the latest year. One of them saw her cutie mark and asked what her talent was. She answered and they got interested. They asked why she wasn't famous and she told them that books wasn't so big in Manehatten. Suddenly a pegasi handed her a train ticket, saying that she should come with them back to Ponyville. She took the offer. She spent the evening on a train learning to know the nice ponies she met.

They arrived at Ponyville later and she found a cheap house she and the unicorn from the gang fixed up. She loved the calmness in the town and gave out the story that she got her cutie mark of. Many ponies bought it and begged her to write more. She was so filled with luck she could've cried. She now spends all her time to hang out with her friends and write.

During her years in Ponyville, she had been noticing ponies, or things stalking her. When out walking, often in the park nearby, she would catch glints of those creatures, looking at her from behind a bush or house. She would tell one of her closest friend all about it, but he said it was nothing to worry about. But she couldn't stop worry, she was slowly going mad, and started to stay home more and more. Her friends became worried, but she thought they didn't worry. In fact, that they were just being annoyed by her.

One day after staying at home for an entire week, she decided to go out to ask if her friends cared. But on her way towards the town market, one of the stalkers had seen their chance, and jumped her. She was pushed into a dark corner, where she finally saw what had been stalking her. It was one of her closest friends, the one she told everything! Or actually no, it was his twin. He started to ask her things about how she liked it, being a pony. At first she was confused, but as he kept explaining, she slowly started to understand that the bite she had gotten as a young foal, would slowly start to turn her into a changeling, and that he wanted her to, no, he demanded her to leave the town until it happened, and that he and her didn't want her there anymore. He then ran away, leaving a little note at her hooves which said, written in black ink, the one she used when she wrote: Leave now, no one will miss you. She was completely broken, she had no idea of what was wrong or right anymore. The ones who had helped her, had left her, ignored her, and betrayed her.

She quickly got back to her house, to find a changeling waiting on her at her writing desk. She tried to run away from it, but when she reached for the door she realized it was jammed. The changeling spoke up.
"I know you are aware of it, and that you probably have been for some years, that your wound will start to affect you more. And what you will become, is not accepted here, so I would like you to come with us." He extended his hollow hoof. She was really confused of that had happened during the day, but knew what he was saying was true, so she grunted yes. Right after she had done that, the door was unlocked and the changeling smiled.
"Excellent..." It then flew up and held her hoof in his, and teleported her away to the closest hive.

After three weeks in the hive, she became used for information. She lived together with some other changelings, some more concerned about having a real pony with them than others. She didn't gain any friends, or even communicate with other changelings, except when their leaders asked her for things about the ponies in Ponyville. She didn't care about anything, she had been betrayed and would not hesitate to betray more of the ponies who hated her. The only thing she ever questioned, was that why they didn't bite more ponies to turn them into changelings? Was it too risky? Did cocooning them make the transformation quicker?

After another week, on her way back to her room, she over heard a conversation from her neighbors. She sneaked up behind the door and used a hot wire spell she had learnt from one of her so called friends. Using it she heard their voices clearer, and soon she found out that they were talking about her. And that the bite wouldn't get any worse. They just wanted her to take over Ponyville and the entire Equestria! And, that they had actually done just that! She was a little terrified, thinking of all the ponies there wh- She stopped. She couldn't. She didn't care, about anything, at all. She left her spot behind her door, going to her room, packing her stuff, and she then used a teleport spell.

She appeared on the street of Canterlot, or well, what was left on it. She saw a house that looked more or less undamaged, and took shelter in it. No pony was there, so she started to raid it, while thinking of what had happened the last month. She had first been betrayed by the ponies who she had put all her trust and friendship in, and now when she had slowly been starting to get used and maybe going to communicate with some other beings in the hive than the leaders, she got to know they didn't care, they had also betrayed her. She left the house, her saddle bags full of food and other stuff, and started to roam the streets, wanting to make the ponies, and changelings, and the entire world to pay for what they had done to her.
