Long ago, when Luna and Celetia ruled over the lands of Equestria together, there was peace. But even in a time without war, there will be those that stand to fight against what is good and just. Each princess, knowing this all too well, took it upon themselves to train an elite force of guards. On the outside, they protect the princess they are trained by. But within the walls of the castle, they are trained to protect the innocent lives of common ponies. Each princess hoof selected every member, choosing those that would make a strong and elite force. Upon the formation of the elite squadrons, there were societies formed, and the Lunar Guards were the most reclusive. The dark is taken by many to mean evil and fear, but it can also be warm and caring, much like the enveloping hug of a one you hold dear. When the Lunar Princess was banished to the moon, the society kept on, but as the thousand years passed, the society grew smaller and smaller, till it was but one pony still maintaining the structures within the Lunar wing. With the return of the Lunar princess by Twilight Sparkle and the Elements of Harmony, the ranks need more members. So the one remaining pony has taken it upon herself to gather a new elite team of ponies. Ones trained in both the ancient ways of the night, and the newly discovered techniques of today.
This is the back story for the RP. I will start the RP thread itself soon, for now, discussion about team placements will ensue.

Back story: Star grew up in Baltimare, with loving parents; however, as he grew older, he came to realize that something strange was going on. Periodically, he would be sent for testing at some unknown facility, his family and several other members of his neighborhood worshipped some strange entity named Him, and all of the ponies his age weren't very interested in things that colts and fillies their age normally would be. At some point, he realized that he was in a crazy cult. Unbeknownst to anyone else, he had discovered the ability to create portals to any point he wished, as long as he had seen it in some fashion. He used his ability to flee to Ponyville, where he spent the next few years doing odd jobs, though he wished to do more, and eventually applied to the Royal Guards. While applying, he demonstrated his ability to create portals, and so was recruited by a mare who wished to exploit his abilities to the fullest.
Cutie mark and subsequent talent: A closeup of a planet on a starry background. Specializes in long-distance related magics, especially telescopic magic. Unrelated to his cutie mark, he can create portals that instantly connect one place to another, up to 5000 miles away, but he must have seen the place once, even with a picture. It takes a lot out of him to do it though.

Back Story: A stallion bored of his relatively easy life-style back home in Canterlot, Illusion set out to see the world at the age of 16, wandering town to town as a traveling performer, with mixed success. But that wasn't enough, as the life of a traveler, though fraught with it's fair share of dangers, could not satisfy his thirst for adventure. As a last-ditch effort, he applied to join the royal guards, hoping to join a brother of his. He failed. Miserably.
However, just when all hope seemed lost, the unicorn was soon approached by a stranger, one who wished to recruit him, intending to use his talents for more subtle means of serving the princesses.
The rest, as Illusion says, is history.
Mark and subsequent talent: Oddly enough, Illusion's mark seemingly does not represent his talent; If it did, then all of his family shares the same one. Instead, the odd black shape is his family symbol. There has been much debate as to what the black mark actually looks like, as he and his family refuse to answer.
[I really can't accurately describe it with words.] His talent, however, can be made obvious from his name alone; Illusions, my friend, and not just the cheap parlor tricks, either.
Coat Color: Earls Green
Mane/Tail color and Style: Bright golden blonde, short messy mane and an average-length tail that is surprisingly soft.
Eye Color: Assumed to be bright green, but unconfirmed. Eyes are always closed.
Personality (Short version): Cheerful and polite unless being purposefully annoying, minor bookworm, a tad lazy, a complete nightmare when he gets too hyper, and said to be just plain horrifying if mad.
It's easy to befriend him, but truly earning his loyalty is another story, though it's all but unshakeable when one finally does.

Spoiler: Back Story • show Pink Cloud was born and raised in Baltimare. As a filly, she was extremely awkward and found it hard to hold conversations with other ponies. To escape the real world, she would sleep a lot during the day. She suffers from sleep walking, sleep talking and narcolepsy. When she wasn't asleep, she would talk about dreams and try to find a deeper meaning of them. She had many dream journals and would write short stories about a dream she had. Her few friends would ask her to analyze their dreams and she happily would. Pink Cloud would ask questions and interpret what her friends dreams meant. This quickly got her more friends and was able to break from her shell. From an awkward filly, she bloomed into a social butterfly. One afternoon as she was napping with a few friends, she had a terrifying dream. Waking up in a sweat, she discovered her cutie mark. Till this day, she still tries to interpret what the dream was and how its connected to her cutie mark. Once she grew older, Pink Cloud went to school and became a Oneirology. After years of helping ponies and sleeping, she was able to lucid dream and figure out even more about dreams. Rumors say she is able to enter other ponies dreams and she has her own palace in the dream world.

Occupation: Captain of the Lunar Guards in Canterlot.
House: An old apartment in Canterlot.
Backstory: Abandoned as a filly, Grey was taken into an orphanage in Manehattan. As time passed, the orphanage closed, and the orphans were put out on the streets. Grey, young and naive, joined with a group of rather unsavory characters. Despite their inadequacies, they helped her, giving her shelter and food, a family. This group was a mob, violent and cruel, but protective over those they saw promise in. Grey, from a young age, was smart, and possessed very powerful magic. This made her a valuable asset to the mob, and she was trained well. As time passed however, she began to see just how bad her 'family' was, and she disapproved. When she grew of age, she joined the guards, keeping it a secret from all but one of her closest friends. It would come back to haunt her. That friend ratted her out on his first chance, and she was forced to run from Manehattan. She came to Cantermore, and when she was assigned guard duty there, she stayed. She worked her way up through the ranks, talent and skill making her a captain. She became the only member of the Lunar Guards still on active duty, and now that Luna has returned, she is seeking more members to join and hail the moon.
Cutiemark story: One evening whilst prowling the streets of Manehattan, Grey observed a comet go towards, and seemingly disappear into, the moon. Upon seeing this, her cutiemark appeared. She never knew what it meant till she became a Royal Guard. She was destined to be a Lunar Guard, always has been. That comet appeared ever 100 years, and anypony who got a cutie-mark of a comet on that night was destined to serve Luna in some way.
Likes: Good books, music of any kind, home cooking, family, love, friends, and fun.
Dislikes: Ponies who look down on her for being in the guards, ponies who judge her for her past, ponies who act high and mighty because they are rich and 'have connections', and also ponies who break the law in any way for malicious intent.

Back story (preferably well detailed): Miru came from a family of just him and his hermit of a father, and lived in an average city, and in the suburbs. They were both very happy, despite the two not being very social till the later part of his school life (which left Miru not being able to socialize too well and general staying out of sight).
While his nature is rash and tart, he had a bad habit of befriending dangerous folks and ending up being in trouble as a result of his new friends' shenanigans. One friend he befriended by sheer chance was with a...Very dangerous, dapper man. Eyes pink, and able to play the smoothest jazz. A man who was not afraid to kill some people who didn't see eye to eye with him (which was sorta hard literally just cause this man was a god
Read the forum rules. beanpole. Good lord crouch a little for me!). The man, amused by the childish fleece 'child's' nature, took him in to join a certain Crew. A mob.
Miru was no fighter, no. He mainly stayed behind while the dangerous unicorn left clean corpses behind. He was there to patch the suits together, or the guy as well. (kinda hard with a mouth and when you're not properly trained for this kinda thing.) The Crew eventually got into trouble when their leader pegasus, 'Spades Slick', got into a tussle with the mayor with his sharp, armored wings. Obviously not being on good terms with the town anymore, they had to leave, but were eventually caught. Well, Slick, the aggressive pegasus leader did, anyways. Without a leader, the rest of the Crew were forced to dissipate for the most part. However, the one who brought Miru in to begin with, known as Diamonds Droog, decided to lead Miru along. Even since then, the two have drifted apart, but not before giving Miru a gift. A little brooch diamond on his fleece jacket. The silver-tongued mobster used his devious magic for good for once and gave Miru the ability to magically send letters between them. Touched by the farewell gift, Miru headed off on his own adventure, confident with what he has learned in the two worlds.

Personality: Snarky and defensive, Miru can be very rude when first talking to him, depending on the situation at hand. He has a slight obsessive personality, loving fleece, rabbits, and the color of his eyes (Same as his prized fleece jacket). While being a brat, he can also be mature when he feels he needs to lead, and will do his best to assist his friends. (assuming the situation isn't too dangerous, then he's gonna really push them along or hide them). Miru was no fighter, no. He mainly stayed behind while the dangerous unicorn left clean corpses behind. He was there to patch the suits together, or the guy as well. (kinda hard with a mouth and when you're not properly trained for this kinda thing.) The Crew eventually got into trouble when their leader pegasus, 'Spades Slick', got into a heated argument with the mayor with his sharp, armored wings. Embarrassed, they had to leave, but were eventually caught. Well, Slick, the aggressive pegasus leader did, anyways. Without a leader, the rest of the Crew were forced to dissipate for the most part. However, the one who brought Miru in to begin with, known as Diamonds Droog, decided to lead Miru along. Even since then, the two have drifted apart, but not before giving Miru a gift. A little brooch diamond on his fleece jacket. The silver-tongued mobster used his devious magic for good for once and gave Miru the ability to magically send letters between them. Touched by the farewell gift, Miru headed off on his own adventure, confident with what he has learned in the two worlds.

Personality: Snarky and defensive, Miru can be very rude when first talking to him, depending on the situation at hand. While being a brat, he can also be mature when he feels he needs to lead, and will do his best to assist his friends. (assuming the situation isn't too dangerous, then he's gonna really push them along or hide them). While the other wolves would go out and hunt and catch their meals, play around and run. Game would prefer to sit or lie around, not doing much, this made him a bit of an outcast from the others.
This eventually lead to Game leaving the group, heading towards Cantermore, Game found what felt like hundreds of new smells and tastes, finding bins and dumpsters and eating the thrown out food from the previous day. This constant feasting made Game get very overweight, mixing with his already lazy attitude it did nothing but speed up.

M'kay, my OC specializes in spells. She has a collection of runestones that she's enchanted. Anything from sleep aids to forcefields. She can fight decently as well.
Fakesmile, I was wondering, your OC can enter dreams. Is there any chance that at some point in the RP, we (meaning the team) could capture somepony and use her dream entering skills as interrogation techniques?

He could probably make simple maps and give a rough estimate on what might happen, depending on what others inform him of, such as people there or other living beings. The world is a blank canvas and Miru cannot follow the added chess pieces, yes! (but yes Miru being a map maker would be understandable. I can see him having maps already since he traveled with the Crew and Droog probably suggested he do so.)

M'kay, that will deffo be of help. Once some of the other people are online I can start to fill out this stuff a little more, but based off of the OCs here, we have a pretty good team.

M'kay, what I am planning on doing for the first day-two days is just the whole recruitment scenarios since not all of the people are online at the same time and everything. It'd make sense to go in order of member, but since Waaah will be gone for a while (dayish) we could start with Pink Cloud since you're online.
If there is a recruitment building or office, Game could be eating scraps from the dumpster or he could smell those little pieces of food they put out to make you feel guilty, and wander in.
The dumpster could cause a noise and someone else could go investigate.
