With the sun making way for the moon's soft night, two strangers embark on a journey to the place that Blazing Legend calls home. The duo must leave behind the city of Manehatten far behind as they travel through the wild lands with no map and limited supplies. What is Gypsi running away from? Why is Blazing Legend helping her? Are they being hunted? Only the future will tell.
Blazing Legend makes no indications of remorse about his leaving of the city after only one day. His mind was set solely on the path ahead of him.

Story: She was created in a FoxHound lab, and fillynapped by a slave caravan. Before she was sold, however, she was rescued by a cyborg ninja, but Gypsi got injected during the fight. She came to Marehatten, sreaching for a place to call home, and now, thanks to Blazing Legend, she's on her way to found home.]

Story: Born to a small family in a frontier community on the edge of the Everfree forest. After discovering his ability to perceive the landscape in 3D, Blaze began to travel across all of Equestia in order to personally map the area and record it's secrets. His knowledge is priceless to some and dangerous to others, including himself. Blaze happened upon Gypsi and decided to lead her to his hometown in the hope of giving her a better life.
Gypsi had taken her hood off to feel the warm sunlight on her fur, "A true hamony" Gypsi spoke softly, then she affectionately nuzzled his neck, "Thank you again for helping me"
"You can thank me when we arrive," Blaze replies.
"Oh, right. Sorry" She smiled nervously and blushed.
"Don't be sorry, you have a lot to learn and if you start off sorry you'll never learn it."
"You're right. Let's keeping going" They continued onward.
Meanwhile, crouching and looking over a dune, sat a shady wolf like creature. Its red eye on the two, especially Gypsi, "Finally, I have found you" He said to himself in a robotic voice. On his right shoulder was a FoxHound symbol.
"How rested are you?" Blazing asks, trying to determine when they should set up camp.

"Not much... I only got five hours of sleep last night" She told him, looking rather tired.
"Then we'll have to rest soon, we have a long day tomorrow," Blaze says, mentally scanning the landscape for a cave or other natural shelter.
"Hey, how about there?" Gypsi pointed to an abandoned cabin. The cabin was still in good shape, except for the landing and stairs.
"The roof is nice, but I've learned to not take cabins for granted. There's a cave a few miles away that should be secure."
"I really don't like idea of sleeping on a cold and uncomfortable cave floor, but if you say so" Then an idea struck her, "Hey, since nopony is using it, and it probably still has beds, we can take the mattresses from the cabin and to the cave! What do you think?" (She a little mischievous X3)
Blaze lets out a heavy sigh before saying, "One time, this is the one time that we use an abandoned cottage, got it?"
"Ok" She smiles innecent like.
And with that, Blaze goes to the cottage's frond door and knocks three times.
They don't hear a response, "No ones home" Gypsi exclaimed as she push the door open, which open, quite easily.
"Let's hope it stays that way," Blaze says grimly as he steps into the cottage.
Inside the cottage, the furniture was covered in dust and the dinner table was in pieces. Gypsi flipped a light switch and the lights blinked to life. "Let there be light!" Gypsi said in a joking manner. She walks over to the fridge and looks for food.
Blaze searches the cottage quickly for any signs of life, and any clues to who owned the cabin.
Gypsi looks through the and find an unopen bottle of wine, twelve fresh apples, two canteens filled with fresh water, and a box filled with a dozen muffins. On top the box was a note that said, 'Good luck and stay safe. -Snake Fox' (the cyborg ninja) Gypsi looked surpried then she smiles softly.
Finding no obvious signs, Blaze relaxes on a couch, leaving the bedroom for Gypsi.
Gypsi puts the food and drink into the bag then rests next to Blaze, "Wouldn't it be safer if we stay together?" Gypsi ask with a sweet smile.
"No, you need all the sleep you can get in a bed. Besides, from here I'll be able to keep watch on the front door," Blaze replies with a fatherly tone.
"Alright, by the way, found some food and two canteens filled with water. Here." Gypsi hands Blaze, his bag. Inside were six apples, six muffins and one of the water canteens. Gypsi then kissed him on the cheek and walked into the bedroom, "Night" She called out to Blaze.
"Night," Blaze replies.
Gypsi take off her cloak, crawled on to the bed, blanked herself and fell asleep.
Blaze turns out the lights and lays down on the coach, tipping his hat over his eyes.
Meanwhile, outside, a robotic wolf approached and sat down a few yards away from the cottage, his whip like tail swaying slowly. Attached to his back was a chainsaw with no blades or an engine, only the handles. "Commencing 'stand by' Mode" The wolf said quietly to himself, "Must wait until six A.M, before activating the mission. Activating entertainment" And he starts to play tetris in his head.
As the clock strikes 5:30 am, Blaze is up in the kitchen utilizing the facility to make scrambled eggs. 'This'll help make the early morning more tolerable for Gypsi,' he thought as he baked.

Gypsi runs into the kitchen, drenched in water, from the shower, "What is that smell?!" She sniffs the air, "It's smell delicious!"
"Oh, you're up. I was just making us some eggs for breakfast," Blaze replies with surprise about Gypsi being up already.
"I never had eggs before" Her eyes were filled with wonder, then turned to embarrassment, "Sorry for getting the floor wet. I was in the shower" She laughs cutely and embarrassed.
"That's good, because your next bath will be in a river," Blaze says with a humor about the reality gypsi would be facing.
"As long as I get to bathe with you, I'm fine with it" Gypsi said mischievously.
"Hmm, we'll see about that."
"Like it or not, I'm bathing with you after we leave this cabin~" Gypsi spoke softly, looking mischievous.

"Fine, lets just have brea-" Gypsi was about to sigh when a ominous mechanical voice echoed through the cottage, "Greetings travelers"
Hearing the unnatural and threatening voice, Blaze snaps into a combative stance as his eyes carefully scan his surrounding. "Who is it that speaks?", he calls out, not expecting a response in the form of words.
Just after Blaze asked that, a chainsaw with red plasma blades, impaled the wall began to cut through. "AHHHH!!" Gypsi lets out a scream of terror and she takes cover.
Blaze grabs his saddlebag as well as Gypsi's hoof, guiding her towards the bedroom window so they can escape.
Out of nowhere, heated throwing knifes flew the window, which nearly hit Blaze, but managed to dodge, without getting hit by a single dagger.
"This guy just wont let up!" Blaze exclaims as he and Gypsi make a mad dash away from the cabin.
The Blade wolf, then leaped on Blaze, causing him to fall over. Gypsi let out a cry as she watched as the wolf picked up his weapon. Before he could use it, however, Blaze, using his hind legs, kicked the robotic wolf into the air.
The wolf did a back flip & landed on all fours.
Gypsi ran over to Blaze and helped him up.

Blaze wasn't an amateur at fighting, and was able to quickly get to his hooves. But he still lacked a way to combat his cybernetic adversary, so he regroups with Gypsi and continues his dash away.

The wolf sped in front of them like a cheetah, cutting them off.
Blaze grits his teeth as he prepares himself for hoof-to-hoof combat.
It approachs them slowly, coming face-to-face with Blaze, "Greetings, Traveler" Gypsi steps forward sightly and yells at him, "Who or What are you?!"
The mechanical wolf made a sort of laugh as it places its chainsaw on his back, "I am IF Prototype LQ-84i"
"Quite the name yo got there, hope it came with a warranty," Blaze taunted as he went in for a swift buck at Proto's jaw.
LQ-84i swiftly raised his clawed paw and simply grabbed his hind leg, slowly digging its claws into Blaze's leg.
Blaze cries out in pain, but still manages to lift his second hoof once more and kick with all the force he could muster at (I'm going to just call him proto) Proto's face.
Proto's staggered backwards from the kick, thus making him let go of Blaze's leg, but despite the force of the kick, it only caused a small dent on its head.
"Gypsi! Run!" Blaze cries out, going in for a ram against Proto's side.
'No' Gypsi thought to herself, 'I don't want to be alone again...' she then saw a large branch and grabbed it with her magic. (her magic comes from her antlers)
Proto used his tail to whip Blaze across the face and caused Blaze to fall. "Pitiful pony" it laughed.
"Dirty trick, mutt!" Blaze exclaims kicking Proto's legs out from under him.
Proto does a barrel roll midair when lands back on all fours, "Nice try" *WHACK!* a tree branch hit Proto in the head. Like the kick, it only left a small dent. Proto turned to see Gypsi, who was shaking. Blaze saw lettering on the back of its neck that said, 'DO NOT HIT THIS SPOT' Proto slowly approached Gypsi.
Seeing that Proto was distracted by Gypsi, he lunges at him and begins a grapple to restrain the creature. He plans to get Proto in such a position that with a swift punch he can exploit the weakness, but still keep Proto restrained for interrogation.
Proto tries to throw Blaze off his back, but Blaze held strong. Proto was about to reach for his saw, when Blaze grapped the saw first and threw it aside. "MEDDLESOME HORSE!" Proto roared, the proceeded to whip Blaze's back, repeatedly, with the tail as Blaze held on strong. Each whip created a large gash.

Proto's head starts to twitch, and the whipping lightens up until it stops, then Proto fell to the ground, the red lights in his eye shuts off.
"Huh," Blazing says, not expecting the weak point to trigger so easily.
Suddenly Proto sprung up and sat on his hunches. His eyes lit up white and opened his mouth. Then he starts to play Cotton eye joe, with the volume on seven.
Blaze becomes stunned by Proto's display. Not knowing what to do he pushed harder on the weak spot.
The song changes & starts to play 'Sail' with the volume on eight.
Blaze releases Proto and walks over to Gypsi.
"I think he's broken" Gypsi said, trying not to laugh.
"I think we should leave, now," Blaze says, his voice displaying urgency.
Suddenly the song changes to interpretate sax music. "Oh my..." Gypsi blushes, "Yea... lets go..."
"Whoever sent that thing will probably follow it's trail. So no more roads, and no more cottages." Blaze explains as he makes he walks straight into the woods, purposefully avoiding the road that they had taken thus far.
Gypsi nodded then looked guiltily at Blaze's wounds. Tears start to form in her eyes, "I'm sorry..." she whispered.
"Don't be sorry, be aware. We still have a long way to go, and the only way to prevent injuries in the future is to see them before they happen. So, do you know what kind of things are after you?"
Gypsi shakes, "No... and that's what scares me.." Gypsi trembles and kneels to the ground, crying. Proto, his eyes now blue, puts a blanket on Gypsi's back. "Huh...?" Proto sits and says with concern, "Please, do not cry"
Blaze jumps back into a combative stance, preparing to fight Proto once more.
Proto scratches a tracker off his chess then he stomps on the transmitter, thus breaking it, "I wish to help you. You freed me, now I must help you. Will you allow me to come with you?"
"Why should I trust you?"
"I had no choice, if I disobey a direct order, my memory would have been wiped. You broke the connect to them, now I'm free & I destroyed the transmitter so they can't follow"

Blaze lets out a heavy sigh and relaxes his stance before saying, "Gypsi, as I am only acting as a guide, the decision is yours."
Gypsi scratches the back of Proto's ears, "If he can hunt us, he can help us hunt for food. Gypsi smiles at Blaze, "And if he wants to help us, he can"
Proto wags his tail happily, "Thank you, Gypsi. My other name is Blade wolf" Blade wolf introduces himself as he picks up his saw & puts it away.
Blazing thinks to himself, 'I am obliged to lead this creature to safety, yet cannot provide it in the same way as to Gypsi. Whatever am I to do?' Casting his doubts aside, Blazing begins giving orders, "We'll brake for five minutes to treat our wounds before we start tracking through the forest. Blade, since your a canine you will be responsible for smelling and hearing trouble before we find it."
"Yes sir. And here" He hands Blaze disinfectant, stitches and gaze. Blade then sits, scouting for any enemies.
"Thanks?" Blaze says, still confused by Blade's sudden character shift.
"Here" Gypsi takes the disinfectant, finds a clean cloth, pours the medicine onto the cloth, and starts to disinfect Blaze's wounds while tears streamed down her face from the painful guilt.
"Don't worry about me kid, I'm a lot tougher than I look."
Gypsi softly smiles then replies, "Alright..." After disinfecting the wounds, Gypsi starts to stitch them and finally bandages, the she softly kisses his back without him noticing.
Looking at Gypsi's medical work, he asks her, "Where did you learn to do that?"
"Snake taught me" Gypsi smiles softly.
After about four more minutes, Blaze stands up, "Alright, time to get going."
Blade wolf stand and nods, "Yes sir"
Gypsi folds the blanket, then puts it and the medical items in her bag, "Alright" Gypsi grinned.
Blaze walks confidently into the forest, his trot broken only when some barrier of trunk or foliage prevents him from doing so.
((Please note that Gypsi hasn't seen Blaze ever use a map, let alone own a compass.))
Gypsi quietly giggles everytime Blaze bumps into something.

As the minutes turn to hours, Celestia's sun burns it's brightest in the sky. Blaze seems unfazed by the summer heat and continues his hike at a polite pace for his less experienced companions.
Blade wolf, like Blaze, was unfazed by the heat. Gypsi, however, was panting heavily and sweating.
Blaze pays no heed to his companions, focusing only on path finding.
Gypsi starts to sway and stumble.
Blaze continues to be oblivious of his companions distress.
Blade looks up from his radar then speaks with Blaze, "The nearest town is about a mile from here. I recommend we stop there to restock our supp-" Then Gypsi collapsed, blacking out completely.
Hearing Gypsi fall to the ground, Blaze almost instantly turns around to face her. Recognizing her plight, Blaze drags her under the canopy of a larger tree and pours a bit of water on her face.
Gypsi coughs then she wakes up, "What happened...?"
"You feinted, so we're going to rest here for a little while."
"Ok..." Gypsi said sleepily, and just like that, she falls asleep.
Blaze sighs and lays down beside her, needing a rest himself.
Blade sits and stands guard.
Gypsi, unknowingly, cuddles Blaze.
Blaze doesn't protest the cuddle, deciding it better to let Gypsi to get her sleep.
Blade takes out a camera, turns off the flash and takes a picture of them while he softly laughs to himself.
"What's that about?" Blaze asks, slightly offended by the unwanted photograph.
"Just something to laugh about later" Blade grins.
"I don't wan't to offend you, but I'de just like you to know that I cannot provide you with the same asylum that I can Gypsi. While Gypsi can pass for a pony, or is at lease close enough to not cause too much of an issue, you are far to alien to my hometown to ever be granted the same treatment," Blaze admits to Blade, knowing that what he said carried a lot of weight.
"My new adjective now is to insure Gypsi's safety. Onces she reaches your town safely, I will leave, on my own, and never you kind again"
"Why do you still rely on protocol, didn't you free yourself?"
"Why worry abotut me? When you should be worried about her. Blade points to Gypsi, "What if your people, see her, without her cloak, what then? Would they truly accept her? They'll only see her as a creature. A monster. An outcast"
"I can't promise acceptance, but I can promise tolerance, and that's more than I can expect from anypony else. Besides, if she's got my blessing, my parents will treat her like family, and that's really what she needs."
"But, do 'You' see her as family? Or do you just feel sorry for her?"
"I'm doing what I can to help a pony in need, a pony who is a stranger to me, yet trusts me as completely as I trust her. Is she family? No. Do I feel sorry for her? No, she's earned that much."
Blade huffs before returning to his post.
Blaze resumes his rest, hoping that he would be able to do something for Blade, but knowing that I was beyond his power.
Gypsi sleeps soundly, resting her head on Blaze's shoulder.
As their rest reaches the upper limit of an hour, Blaze stirs from his rest, and from his thoughts. "Come on Gypsi, it's time to get moving."
Gypsi groans and mutters, "Five more minutes..." Causing Blade to laugh.
"If you stay behind, you're left behind," Blaze replies coldly.
Gypsi shakes herself awake, stands and starts to follow Blaze & Blade.
The forest seems safe enough, and every once and a while Blaze will stop to inspect a plant before plucking it and placing it into his saddlebag.
Gypsi followed behind, trotting happily, occasionally waving at an animal or two.
Blade was annoyed by their behavior, not being able to understand their emotions.
The afternoon passed without incident as a cool evening breeze gives comfort to the travelers.
"These woods are generally pretty safe, so their's no need to look for shelter before nightfall." Blaze announces, trying to keep his companions in the loop.
Gypsi was playing with a family of foxes, so she didn't hear Blaze.
Blaze turns to see Gypsi playing with the foxes. "Come on, he says to her, pulling her away.
Gypsi waves the foxes goodbye as Blaze drags her. The family waves back then they return to their burrow.
"I'm planning on setting up camp for the night soon. So if you could keep you eyes open for a relatively flat spot to lay down in, that would be fantastic," Blaze says with a huff.
"You mean like that?" Gypsi points to a flat area next to a shallow cave, that can fit three ponies.
"Yeah, but I don't trust the caves is this area."
"Ok. Then how about there?" Gypsi points to a clear, flat area.
"Still a little too close to that cave for my liking, but there's another spot just like that one about a mile up," Blaze replies in such a manner that would make it seem like he was planning on going to the spot of his choosing all along.
"Alright" Gypsi gets to her hooves and follows Blaze.
They reach the clearing just as the sun began it's descent. Blaze determined that it wouldn't rain that night, so he laid down on a patch is soft grass.
Gypsi rested against a tree and Blade hopped into the tree and rested on a branch. "Night" Gypsi said before falling asleep.
"Night," Blaze replies quietly, fading into sleep.
Gypsi shifts in her sleep, feeling cold.
The night passes and morning arrives, Blazing Legend awakens with the sunrise and begins preparing breakfast.
Blade jumps tree and to hunt.
Blaze completes a trio of omelets, using up the last of the eggs, and went to wake Gypsi.
Gypsi is shaken awake by Blaze, "W... what?" she asked drowsily.
"Wake up, I made omelets," Blaze answers.
Gypsi gets up slowly and stretches, "Alright, let's eat"
Blaze presents the omelet on a wooden plate.
Gypsi eats like a starving animal.
Blaze raise a brow at Gypsi's appetite, but decided against asking about it, preferring to eat his own meal instead.
Blade brings back three dead pythons, "Want one?" Blade asked.
Gypsi grabs a python and starts to eat.
"No thanks, I'm a herbivore," Blaze replies respectfully.
"Very well" Blade murmured before placing the pythons over a fire.
"There's a pond close by that we should be able to reach by noon. It's a rather nice place to rest, so I plan on having us slop there." Blaze announces.
Gypsi nods before continuing to eat.
Blaze finishes his meal and begins packing everything back into his saddlebag
Gypsi does the same and sees black clouds rolling in.
"Ugh, rain," Blaze complains, putting on a heavy cloak.
Gypsi hides in a hallowed tree, with her tail between her legs.
Blaze ignores her and begins walking once again through the forest.
"What's wrong, little pony. Afraid of a little rain" Said a female voice. Suddenly, the top of the tree was sliced in half, at the same moment it starts to rain, causing Gypsi to run and hide behind Blaze.
Blaze turns around to face the new aggressor, his stance is firm and his gaze is unwavering.
A red mare with a maroon mane, covering one eye. she wore a complex, tech, black body suit. "How cute" She spoke in a soft romanian accent.
Blaze lets out a quick "hah" at his opponent's jest, showing that he is unfazed by her attempt at mockery.
"I am Mistral" She introduced herself, "The cold wind of Saddarabia"
"And I'm Blazing Legend, Cartographer Extraordinaire," Blazing replies, reciting his signature introduction with a "so what" tone.
"You see, we lost signal with one of our tracker wolves, trying to find" She points to Gypsi, "Her" Gypsi backed away.
Blade wolf stepped in, "You will not harm her" He growled.
Mistral brought out a remote and pressed a button, which shocked Wolf like a tazer.
"Well, you found her. Now would you kindly go away?"
"Oh I will. With her of course" Mistral smiled, as five wolverine robots appeared beside her.
"Gypsi," Blaze says, bracing himself for combat. "RUN!" he shouts as if it were a battle cry and charges towards Mistral.
The robotic wolverines, dislodge their legs and all together, formed a arm pole, which Mistral grabbed and used to attack Blaze.
Gypsi turned and ran.
Blaze sucks behind a rock, vanishing from Mistral's sight.
"Hmm! Clever, but not enough" Mistral turns her staff into a whip and starts to slashing up the forest.
It was a frivolous effort as Blazing was no where to be seen, you could say he was hiding right under Mistral's snout.
Three robotic wolverines arrive on the scene, "Scout out and find her. Go!" She orders, then they scattered and searched. "Where are you, boy?" She calls out.
Just when she least expects it, Blazing Legend erupts from the ground beneath Mistal and drags her down into the lightless diamond dog tunnels that riddles the ground in that area.
Mistral tried to use her whip but it fails.
Mistral finds herself in a pitch black tunnel of dirt, a faint amount of light leaking in through where she entered a few yards off. Blaze was nowhere to be found by Mistral, as he used her confusion to lurk back into the maze of tunnels.
"I'm not as brainless as you think" She whispers to herself with a smile, then a matching, helmet came over and covered her head. She turned on her solidar radar and began to track her way out.
Meanwhile, Gypsi was running for her live, unaware of the robotic wolverines, after her.
Blaze left Mistral to crawl around in the hole, opting to leave it himself ASAP and catch up with Gypsi.

Gypsi continued to run until one of the robots tackled her to the ground.

Blaze made up for his tardiness in the chase with his dynamic knowledge of the area's geography, catching up to the group quickly using shortcuts. Arriving to find Gypsi tackled to the ground by one of the wolverines, Blazing quickly jumped into action, body checking the wolverine away and standing over Gypsi to protect her from further attack.
The robotic wolverines growled as they circled and surrounded Blaze and Gypsi.

Blaze's eyes dart back and forth between the wolverines, waiting to see who will strike first.
The wolverine from the rear right attacked first. "Watch out!" Gypsi yelled.
Blaze unleashes a heavy hoofed buck onto the wolverine's jaw.
The robot wolverine's jaw flew off and fell to the ground, along with his owner, who deactivated.
Another wolverine tries to attack from the side.
Blaze took to long recovering from his attack, and was defenseless against his newest opponent.
The wolverine almost bit into Blaze, when a large rock was thrown and jammed it's mechanic jaw. The rock was thrown by Gypsi.
Blaze had no time to thank his savior, quickly tripping the off-guard wolverine before starting a counter offensive by attacking the remaining wolverines.
The second wolverine fell and deactivated, its jaw snapping in two.
The last one was about to run but was caught by Blaze.
"Oh no you don't," Blaze sys, pouncing on the last wolverine and slamming it into the ground.
The robotic wolverine whimpered.
Blaze stood over the wolverine taking long, deep, and gruff breaths for what must have seemed like hours before letting up and walking away from the creature and towards Gypsi. "Now where did that toaster of a dog get off to?"
"He... he..." Gypsi starts to tear up.
"I'm alright..." Blade said, limping towards them, his joints still smoking from the tazing and overheating.
Blaze nods at Blade and says, "Good, now let's get out of hear before that mare comes back." He then begins walking in a different direction than the one they were previously travelling.
Gypsi and Blade nodded and followed Blaze.
After walking a good two-hundred yards or so from where they were, Blaze turns around to face Blade and asks him with a voice of angry desperation, "How did they know where we were?"
"Mistral is part of an advance group called, 'Desperado'. They've must have tracked us, somehow"
"We've trudged through more than 50 miles of wildlands over the past couple of days, how could they have possibly tracked us down?"
Blade looks at Gypsi. "They have a radar that can track Gypsi's magic. That's how I tracked you two"
"How do I know you're telling the truth?"
Suddenly, a spear pierced through Blade's robotic head. Blade gave one last look before shutting down for good.
"Miss me?" Mistral laughed.

Blaze's emerald eyes flash red with rage at the return of Mistral. His stance instantly takes on combative traits as he prepares himself for battle once again.
(My bad... but at least Blade is a machine and can be repaired)
Mistral smirks as she picks up her arm pole.
(You mean pole-arm?)
Blaze stares Mistral down while he waits for her to make her move, their aren't any easily accessible tunnels nearby, so he's going to have to fight her straight on.

Mistral spun her weapon before attacking. The blade of the pole-arm nearly cut Blaze's cheek.
"Looks like you're a bit dusty," Blaze jests with a pun as he sidesteps, allowing Mistral to over-extend her weapon and create an opening for his counterattack.
"Look who's talking, Muskrat" Mistral returned and sent a kick at Blaze, which hit him in the forehead.
"Gaaah!", Blaze exclaims in pain, taking the kick hard. He is stunned and falls to the ground, practically unconscious.
"You know. I could just take the filly ang leave, but I've had enough of you" Mistral points her pole-arm at Blaze's heart. "Goodbye, Muskrat"
Gypsi burst into tears, "NOOOOO!!" Suddenly, blue flame erupted from Gypsi's maw.
"AHHH!" Mistral yelled as she backed away. Her body suit and her pole-arm began to melt. With her suit gone, Mistral fell to the ground, weak.
Blaze has no time to question what had just transpired, and immediately gives a swift kick to Mistral's head, knocking her unconscious. "Quick, take the rope in my bag and help me tie her up before she comes to."
"I don't think it'll be necessary..." Gypsi points to Mistral's body. Mistral's body was mostly bone, skin and fur.
"Well, if you want her to escape while we sleep, than be my guest and don't tie her up!"
Gypsi sighs before getting the rope. She tied the rope around Mistral's leg then tied the other end to a tree.
"*Sigh*, do I have to do everything myself?" Blaze groans angrily as he untied the rope from the tree and began binding Mistral with it being sure that she would still be capable of walking and that their was a sizable length of rope left to use as a leash.
"We're taking her with us?" Gypsi asked.
"Well I'm not going to leave her out here to die, and we can't risk her just running around. So yes, she's coming with us until I can hoof her over to the Royal Guard."
"..." Gypsi hesitated for a moment, then answered, "Alright. You know what's best"
Then she looked over to Blade, "What about Blade...?"
"I'll carry him on my back for now, I don't know how to fix a cyborg."
"Maybe, somepony in town might know how to fix him" She said, hopefully.
"Hopefully," Blaze grunts, heaving Blade's limp body onto his back.
"Do we wait for her to wake up" Gypsi asked, prodding Mistral with a hoof.
"Only if you don't want to carry her,"
Gypsi stepped back from Mistral, who stirred from her unconsciousness.
"Well that answers you're question," Blaze states whilst half-readying himself for a fight.
"Where..." Mistral asked, weakly. She starts to stand, like a newly born fawn.
"About a foot from where you were," Blaze states impatiently.
"You!" Mistral roared and tried to run at Blaze, but fell before she could gallop.
"You seem a little tied up at the moment," Blaze jests at Mistral.
Mistral growls before sighing in defeat.
Gypsi looks around, "Well... Let's get going then. I really want to get out of this rain"
"Yeah," Blaze says, tossing his heavy cloak over Mistral and letting himself be drenched by the rain as he walked through the forest.
Gypsi lifted Mistral onto her back and carried her while following Blaze.
"The next town isn't for another day or two's travel, so you should let Mistral walk most if it," Blaze says Gypsi while he makes his way past a particularly thorny bush.
"Alright. I'll let her say on my back for an hour, then make her walk for three. That way it's-" Before Gypsi could finish her sentence. Mistral had taken a whiff of Gypsi's mane.
After she had enough Gypsi's scent, Mistral looked up with half lidded eyes at Gypsi and said softly, "You smell good"
Gypsi turned red at that complement, "Umm... Thanks..."
Mistral smiled before falling asleep.
Blaze stares with eyes wide open at Mistral after she made her comment. His stare only lasted for a moment, but by the way Blaze turned his head back to facing forward, it is obvious that the expression didn't disappear.
Gypsi, her face still red, said "I... I g-guess... S-she can s-stay on my b-back... F-for a little longer..."
Blaze remained silent as they continued into the forest, thoroughly soaked by the heavy rain.
After a while the rain calms down and stops. Later, the sky clears.
The rain clouds part to make way for the summer's sun, and the temperature is on the rise. Blaze eventually sits down under a tree to take a break from walking.
Gypsi does the same and gently rests Mistral between them.
Blaze suddenly jumps up and declares, "Diamond dogs!"
"What?" Gypsi asked. Suddenly, she was grabbed by one. "Ahh!"
"Hold on!" Blaze shouts as he grabs Gypsi's hoof and attempts to pull her out.
Another Diamond dog, attempted to grab Mistral next. However, she quickly pulled out a blade from behind her mane and plunged it into his paw, causing him to howl in pain and run.
Mistral, then threw her blade at the Diamond dog, who had hold of Gypsi. The blade had pierced the dog's ear, causing him to let go off Gypsi, cry out in pain and dive back into his burrow.
"We have to move quickly while they're scared," Blaze says, grabbing what and who he can, and dashing off in a similar direction to where they were going.
Gypsi picks up Mistral and quickly follows Blaze.
Blaze zig-zags erratically before a diamond dog pops out of the ground where he would've been, as if he knows where the dogs where planning on ambushing him.
Gypsi leaped over a emerged Diamond dog and caught up with Blaze, "W-why are they after us!?" She panicked.
"Probably because Mistral stirred up some trouble when I trapped her in one of their tunnels," Blaze explains while narrowly dodging a large diamond dog who erupted from the earth to grab him.
"Oh... So you blame me for this Hmm..." Mistral said with a bitter tone, "I wonder who's truly responsible for disturbing 'Their' tunnels"
"I'm not the one armed to the teeth, and loaded for bear. You probably went trigger happy in the dark," Blaze replies as he gracefully dodges another diamond dog.
"Tch. Just so you know, I never encountered any while I was in those caverns" Mistral responded.
"Does this really seem like a good time for a "who don it" to you?"
"Who much more until we reach the forest exit!" Gypsi cried out in desperation.
Blaze continues to make his way through the forest, though Blade's dead weight is slowing him down.
"I think I see a river up a head!"
"Not really seeing how that helps," Blaze says, narrowly missing a diamond dog.
"Use your brain, Muskrat. Burrow the water into the tunnels to flush the dogs out!
"Burrow? Do I look like a mole to you? Besides, they don't have any tunnels near the river,"
"Yes and these dogs are probably idiotic enough to burrow under it"
"Trust me, I know things,"
Ugh! I don't care anymore! I just want to get away from these dogs! Gypsi yelled as she galloped faster.
Blaze heads for the river anyways, while it was a dead end lane, it would give them a tactical advantage in a fight.
Gypsi sees the dead end coming up, "Uh oh... that's not good!"
"Hope you know how to swim," Blaze shouts as he leaps into the river.
Gypsi wrapped her tail around Mistral tightly then leaped on a tree and leaped across the river, landing safety on the ground.
Blaze can only watch in amazement as Gypsi clears the river with another pony in tow, but the destruction only lasts a short couple of moments as he himself needs to swim the rest of the river, and does so. Stepping out of the cool waters, Blaze asks Gypsi, "How did you do that?"
"Well... I'm part ocelot a-and part deer... So..." Gypsi said, a bit flustered. "Meaning, 'She' won't have a problem leaping over a large gap. Or, a river" Mistral finished, which she laughed when she mentioned the river.
"So just what are you Gypsi?" Blaze asks as respectfully as he can with how curious and worried he was.
Gypsi was taken a back by Blaze's question, "I... I-I..." Mistral cleared her throat a bit, "I can tell you what she is. If! you do me a favor"
"Why should I help you?" Blaze asks Mistral with disdain and hatred easily discernable from his tone.
"I'll tell you why Desperado's after her" Mistral said calmly. "I only ask, is that you don't turn me in..."
"Who's Desperado?"
Mistral smirked and replied, "The same group I'm with. I'll tell you more about them when we find a place to rest" She then slowly slid off Gypsi's back, stand on her shakily legs.
Blaze stiffens as he says with a stern voice, "No, you're going to tell me now, unless you're partial to being tied to a tree in the middle of nowhere with diamond dogs."
"Umm... Blaze..." Gypsi points across the river, which several Diamond dogs appeared. "Time to go. Oh no!" She turned around to find a pack of timber wolves approaching from behind the trees.
Seeing the Timberwolves approach, Blaze jumps into a combative stance once again saying, "Well that's just dandy."
"Wh-what do we do...?" She trembled.
"Can you swim?" Blaze asks worrisomely.
"Not really..." Gyspi responded, she looked around until her eyes landed on a large driftwood log, "But we can use that"
Blaze nods and jumps into action, depositing Blade on the log and jumping into the cold river waters where neither Diamond Dog or Timberwolf would follow.
Gypsi followed after Blaze and grabbed onto the log for support as Mistral leaped onto the log with Blade.
Neither the Diamond Dogs nor the Timber Wolves pursued the party as they made their way up the river, Blade tied some rope to the log and pulled it against the river's current. "Well there goes getting home by the end of the week," Blaze thinks to himself as he adjusts his planned route for the detour they were taking.
Gypsi pushed the log, helping Blaze, "So. Where to?" She asked.
Blaze grunts against the strain of pulling everypony against the river's current, but manages to say, "First away, then we'll see from there."
"Hmm..." Gypsi Thought to herself as she continued to push through the water.
Blaze trudged on through the water, trying to ignore the feeling of something slithering about his hooves.
