History:Luke lived in a small town a few hours away from Ponyville, and had a pretty regular childhood.
Things started to change when he tried to join in a video game competition, where the first pony to beat an "unbeatable" game would receive a prize. After spending the whole day waiting in line, he was about to go home disappointed when a frustrated competitor threw away his GameColt in frustration.
Luke took the game home and spent days trying to beat the game himself, until one night he had a flash of inspiration. With a new strategy in mind, it was still a long fought battle but he emerged victorious! When his parents helped him take a photo to prove his victory, they discovered his cutie mark had appeared, both commemorating his victory and symbolizing his creative thinking.
Years later, his life would take another major turn, when a friend's house was broken into and cleaned out. Luke tried to help his friend, and it was his out-of-the-box thinking that allowed the police to catch the criminal. From then on, Luke decided to use his talent to help other ponies, and became a detective."
