This is my first OC for this site :) Woohoo roleplaying!
Full Name: Saphire Symphony
Gender: Mare
Race: Unicorn
Birth Place: Canterlot
Talent/Skill(s): Music, Magic
Occupation: Musical Composer
Fear(s): The dark
Personality: Although her interest and talent in music is strong, Saphire's curiousity encourages her to explore new ideas. Her willingness to try new things and bright mind is part of what helps her compose new songs and symphonies. She sees the world with open eyes, and is always looking for a new experience (good or bad). When she isn't learning a new instrument, or deep into writing another musical composition, Saphire enjoys going on adventures, meeting new ponies, and pony watching in general. As much as her immense curiosity and happy attitude seem to help her overcome new challenges, though, sometimes her curiosity can get the better of her.
Family: Saphire Symphony is the only child of her two parents, Pearl Drop and Winter Flash. Pearl Drop, her mother, is a unicorn working in Canterlot as a fashion designer. She runs her own clothing store while her husband, Winter Flash, a pegasus, works with the weather (his specialty, of course, being snow storms). Both parents tried to push Saphire away from music, believing it to be a poor career choice, so she left them at a young age to explore music in her own way. Though she doesn't have parental support, Saphire continues to learn, and explore music in her own way, unscathed by her parents' opinions. She still sends them letters of her latest works, and her adventurous life, but has yet to receive one.
Appearance: Saphire Symphony has a light gray, soft coat. Her mane is a long, flowing white-and-light blue mix, which she received from her father. Her most prominent feature are her electric yellow eyes, which came from her mother. They seem to stand out like shiny jewels compared to her calm-colored coat and mane. Similar to her mane, her tail is also a flowing mix of white and light blue. She keeps it trimmed at a medium length, because she finds it irritating when it drags along the ground. Her height is just below the average mare, but she has never minded. Her magic helps her get books off the top shelf in the library. Her weight is also just below average because she tends to forget to eat when writing a new symphony, but Saphire still remains a healthy pony.
If there's anything I should add, please let me know! Or also anything I should change. This is my first day on here, so I would love advice :) Also, I'm sorry that the picture of my OC isn't great. I can't really draw well, so I just used an online Pony Maker for it. I'll practice drawing though.
