Bio: Tag was born in a rural area, in a farm house surrounded by forests and plains. He was the youngest of three siblings, having an older brother and sister. He would play with his siblings every day, and of course, his favorite game was tag.
Times of change come, however. Tag's parents fell into debt and had to sell the farm. Although they knew it would be especially difficult for Tag to deal with the change, their only option was to move to the low-income housing in Manehattan.
Tag never adjusted. Even though he was still young, he couldn't deal with the city. Tag would spend his days curled up inside an old potato sack in the bedroom he shared with his siblings. Try as they might, his siblings couldn't get him to budge. Tag's mother brought him around to several psychiatrists, who all told her that he'll just have to get used to city life. All but one said there was nothing that could be done. That one outlying psychiatrist, however, suggested they try planning trips out to the countryside.
Tag was very vocal by this age, and showed an immediate reaction to the suggested idea. He hopped out of the potato sack and was ready to go. His first trip back to the countryside was great, and his siblings agreed that it felt like they had their brother back. End of the day, however, they all went back home to the city, and Tag sacked himself once again. This became a weekly trip and went on for about a year, but every time, Tag would sack himself upon returning. Then on one fateful trip out of the city, Tag was laughing and playing with his siblings, when he suddenly stopped with a serious expression. His brother and sister stepped closer, wondering what was wrong. Tag spoke to them. "Love you. Love mom. Love dad. City.... don't love. Tag going to forest. You don't worry." With that, Tag took off into the forest at full sprint. Despite being older, his siblings were never as fast. They started to chase after him, but Tag disappeared quickly into the thick underbrush. That was the last Tag saw of his family.
Tag wasn't just running away to nowhere; he was looking for a place to call home. A place where he could be far from the city. A place where he wouldn't be searched for. For months he roamed the wilderness, eating all of the plants and fruits he knew to be safe from his earlier years at the farm. Finally he found a place remote and desolate enough that he felt comfortable in - the Everfree Forest.
Tag always had been one of few ponies skilled at tree climbing, so whenever he heard something nearby, he would quickly and quietly climb far up a tree and observe it. Timberwolves and cockatrices presented the biggest threat, but Tag was soon able to understand their habits and hunting grounds. When he finally found a corner of the Everfree that was left unclaimed by any fierce creature, he started to build his base.
Now, many years later, Tag's base is a mighty fortress of stone and tree trunks. He has made a very comfortable living in the Everfree, with no common threat to worry about. Even the timberwolves learned not to mess with him. He does sometimes miss his family, but doesn't let it get him down.
