So a while ago I made a ponysona named Purple Dawn (after the flower). I named her so because my original idea for the sona was that, even though she was a mare and not a filly, she still had not discovered her talent, and thus was a late bloomer, so I named her after a plant that flowers in winter.

... My favorite colors have always been purple and neon/electric green, but I realized pretty quickly that they were awful for a pony and I changed her to look like this:

Then afterward I decided I didn't like her color scheme at all, and I wanted to completely redo her to make her look like a more reasonable character.

She finally has a talent, though. That's cool. I decided that her talent was to see the good parts of things that most others don't, and I used a hummingbird because... well, they go after flowers because they're sweet, not because they're pretty... it makes sense to me.
So I'm interested in what people think: is her color scheme better now? Does she look more like a pony you'd see in the show?
I prefer her current colour scheme, but I prefer her second design more than the current one. I don't know, the second one just seems more interesting, and the current one seems a little generic. But that's probably just me.

Although I wonder if her parents knew she was gonna be a late bloomer? :T
