I keep trying to upload one of my pics for my avatar on the site, but they keep coming up as x's in a box.
I don't understand, all my pics are SFW and of various sizes, from small to large. What is going on, and how do I fix it?
Your link isn't correct, you need the actual picture URL and you have the page url the picture is on
stick this in the url space on your profile and it should work

A good way to get the direct picture URL is to right click the picture and click on something along the lines of "Copy image location" or "Copy image URL." It says something slightly different depending on what browser you're using.
