Because there is an incredible difference between Tomatoes and Pancakes, and the question is designed to get someone to pick the obvious choice: pancakes. A more fair question would be to choose between Waffles and Pancakes, or even Muffins and Pancakes!

Well, french toast is Egg-covered toasted bread! pancakes are made from a batter, tha t involves sugar, eggs, flower, butter, and extra ingredients of your choice, like blueberries.
