Title: The Story Book (Multiple RP Sign-up Thread) [Updated: 1/16/15]

Important Notice: This thread will shut down on 3/1/15. No new RP sign-ups will be added, however, all of the currently listed sing-ups are available at this time. Any RPs which have met the required players will launch. Any RPs that are in progress will continue, even after shut down. After the shut down, this thread will be locked.

This thread contains multiple RP stories and ideas. All RPs have the forum rules (http://forum.legendsofequestria.com/index.php?topic=2470.0) applied to them. If you are interested in any of them, feel free to sign up for it. Each RP has a plot behind it and certain variables will be controlled to keep the story in motion. Depending on the actions of the players, the plot may go down different roads, but all roads will eventually lead to an ending.

Where am I?...What is that ticking noise?...Why- Your thought was interrupted by a poking to your hoof. You open your eyes to face a strange owl shaped android made out what appeared to be copper and cogs. It was twitching heavily with small cogs falling out of it. "I see you're awake. I'm sorry to have dragged you here, but I need your help." You got up and backed away immediately. "Wait. Relax, I'm not going to harm you. I am the time keeper," it introduced itself.
"My name's ___."
"I know." You looked around the ball room sized to see the wooden walls completely covered in clocks and golden cogs the size of houses. The room lacked any other furniture or decor aside from a single wooden T stand in the center of it. "As I was saying, I am the time keeper. I'm in charge of overseeing the history of everything and everyone." The time keeper waved his left wing towards a wall of clocks and the clocks' hands began to spin and create a portal. On the clocks were 4 of your friends. There was something wrong with them. You couldn't exactly put your hoof on it, but something about them seemed different. "Earlier today, something went wrong. When I looked into their history, they had a completely different timeline. Something in their past has changed and as a result, the path they once walked down changed. They never met some ponies ,they never did some things, and they aren't even them anymore. That's why I summoned you here. Fixing their timeline is out of my jurisdiction. You however, could repair what has been damaged."
"What can I do?"
"I can send you back in time to where the damage was and you have to make them repeat what happened in their original timeline. If you happen to fail the repair, I can turn back the clock again. Be careful though, if you fail to repair their timeline too many times, it may result in more severe changes." Without second thought, you agreed to help out the time keeper and your friends. The keeper hands you a small golden cog and ties it around your neck. "If you need any help, just look into it and call me. I can't take part in the events, but I can give you advice and turn back time." A portal opens behind you and you step through it, entering one of your friend's past.

Genre: Sci-Fi Mystery

Expedition log #1, 11-6-████:
We have begun our expedition into satellite station #6028, an abandoned space station off galaxy #█████. Melting down the first barricade to the main lobby, we found numerous documents and paperwork scattered all over the floors. Most of which were data logs handled by Ms.██████ of ███████. After collecting the sheets, we proceeded down the main hallway to the left. All of the doors were sealed tight with the electricity to them cut off for that hallway only.

Expedition log #2, 11-8-████:
Upon descending an unknown chasm located near the cafeteria, we have discovered that ████████ had been dormant within the confines of the stations. According to the records given to us by Dr.███████, the organism in question was believed to be exterminated by means of ████████. From this point, we proceed with caution. No one splits up.

Expedition log # 9, 11-29-████:
Subject #███ has retraced back into a dormant state for now. Luckily, all team members have been recovered from the encounter, unharmed. However, my team refuses to continue the expedition. We're heading back to the main shuttle. My team refuses to have anymore involvement with the reboot program and will discharge themselves upon return. After this mission, I do not believe I have the ability to lead a team anymore. Mr. ██████ will have my resignation letter by dawn. It's been both a privilege and an honor to serve. Commander ██████ █████ signing off.

The shuttle's general had finished playing the former commander's tape recordings. "These were the expedition logs of the last commander who brought a team into Station #6028. Whatever was down there scared off the last team so bad they have resigned from the project. If we are to succeed with project reboot, we need all of the files that were lost on that station. Your mission is to retrieve the files from the station's head researcher and bring them back here." After he had finished debriefing the mission, your team gears up and takes a single ship to the station.

Genre: Critical Thinking, Drama

Late 17th century Equestria, the town of Charlesville. A subtle little town with an average population of around 5000. The city is controlled by 2 main families who have an unbreakable monopoly on necessary goods and services being provided. The family who controls all of the farms and spice market, House of Dese. The family who controls the town's mechanical factories which produce metal chariots and furniture, House of Venniont. For the past dozen years, the 2 families have been engaged in a never ending power struggle to gain complete control over the town's economy. The power both houses control are even strong enough to influence higher ups such as the mayor and tax collectors.
But this is the year when one empire crumbles. Both houses hired private assistants in order to sabotage the other's nail-less frames. Take out the key pieces and the whole thing will crumble. By the end of this century, only one house shall have control over Charlesville. Now, which house is going to win and how far is each house willing to go in order to annihilate the competition?

".....Detective.....detective ___? Can you hear me?" your assistant shook you awake. "My dear, this is the seventh time this week you collapsed. Are you feeling well?"
"I'm fine ___," you replied brushing it off. You continued to walk down the sidewalk as your assistant caught up.
"Ever sine you took the case, you've been constantly passing out of nowhere. Perhaps you should let another off-"
"No! This case is too important for me to let go," you spited.
"I know he/she means alot to you. You two have been close friends for years, but I believe that-"
"You've received my answer ___. I am not going to stand by and let that beast be on his mary way!"

3 months ago
July 9th, 1857

You were at home on your day off from work. It was a bright day with minimal clouds hovering the cyan sky. The light from the sun pounded through the window and onto your skin. You didn't really have any plans, so you decided to pay a visit with one of your close friends. You walked out of the house and as you close your door behind you, you notice a letter in your mailbox. The letter was from the city's police force.
Attention townsfolk,

Around 10pm tonight, lock your doors and windows. Pull down your blinds and use your curtains. Close all openings into your home and do not open them until 10am tomorrow morning. Turn off all lights and and remain silent. Whatever you do, do not disregard this warning.

Strange, the police usually doesn't order a blackout drill around this time of the year. You threw the letter aside and continued walking to your friend's abode. You arrive at their place and invite them out for a day around town. Throughout the day, you two visited several stores purchasing whatever your eyes caught, attending the local street performances varying from pierrots to flight shows. The time was 9:00pm and by the strike of the minute hand on 12, the townsfolk began departing and returning home, heeding the letter received earlier in the morning. "We should probably be heading back," your friend advised.
"Don't worry, it's just a drill. Nothing ever happens in this town anyways," you ensured nonchalantly.
10:00pm, you and your friend continued to stroll around town but had second thoughts at the sight of an approaching rainstorm. Thinking the same thing, you both head to your friend's house, which was closer. 11:20pm, the entire town was pitch black and was void of sound. The storm eventually caught up with you two and poured heavily upon the the entire neighborhood.  You bid goodnight leaving your friend to dry up in their home. You turned around as proceeded home when the once calm sound of the rain was broken by the shattering of glass. Hastily, you galloped back to their house to find their front door open, their bedroom in a state of disrepair, and a broken window. You scanned the bedroom with panic when thunder struck and in the flash of light, you spot a figure a few feet outside the window walking with their back turned towards you. You ran after the figure but as you got closer and closer, the downpour of rain began to grow quieter and quieter until all sound was void. Time slowed with each step until you a feeling of severe drowsiness overcame you. Reports of the night state that it was not a break in. The front door was unlocked from the inside and there was nothing missing from the home. However, ___ remains missing. There was however, one piece of evidence that was left as a calling card on the bed. A broken compass with an unknown emblem of a thread and needle embossed onto it.

Q: May we participate in multiple RPs at once?
A: Yes

Q: May I join a RP that has been filled up?
A: No.

Q: May I control NPCs?
A: All NPCs will be controlled by me. Please do not attempt to control them. At all.

Q: How many RPS will there be opened at the same time?
A: 2-3 at a time

Q: Are you planning on making any Jump-ins in the future?
A: Not really. The reason is because jump-ins don't have a storyline/plot most of the time and it also may get too chaotic.

Q: How many OCs can I sign up per RP?
A: All RPs, unless specified, allow only 1.

Q: My OC has some unique powers. Is that allowed?
A: As long as it's a reasonable power (not god like) and you don't go overboard with it.

Q: What if a player abandons a filled RP? Am I allowed to sign-up for it afterwords?
A: It will depend on the RP and its current situation/point in the story.

Q: How often do you update this thread?
A: I don't have a schedule, but when I do update it, I will post the date.

Q: What if my application is rejected? May I re-apply?
A: Any rejected application will be given a reason as to why. You may re-apply a new OC or readjust your application afterwords.

Q: What if an RP has no players signed up and has been for a while?
A: It will most likely be deleted due to lack of interest.

Q: Are non-pony OCs (Dragons, Gryphons, etc) allowed?
A: Of course!

Q: What about humans?
A: Probably not.

Q: Are pets allowed to be signed up with an OC?
A: Results may vary depending on the RP and application.

Q: How long does each RP last?
A: Results may vary

Q: May I request the creation of a certain kind of story?
A: You're more than welcomed, but if it does not attract enough players, I will eventually have to remove it.

Q: How long does an RP with 0 players take to be eligible for deletion?
A: Usually a month or two. Some RPs I may just lose interest in hosting myself, so there is that possibility.

Other info: Was once the greatest ninja in the world now Ruby does whatever for money. Ruby is always mean to ponies that speak for more than 10 seconds but she still has friends. she is able to turn into a rabbit at will but this isn't really special because any magical creature can as well. And being one of the most stubborn mares in the world her stubbornness is either her greatest strength or her downfall.

They are more like familiars. And as for appearance, the eidolons take an animal form with a corresponding color to their affinity.

They do indeed talk normally and anyone can hear them. Each eidolon will have a different personality, so it won't just be 4-6 generic speech familiars.

They work like independent familiars. They are their own creature, but they follow your orders (most of the time). You're free to command them as much as you like, but they do have their exhaustion point and opinion. Also, since their abilities revolve around affinity, they may be unable to do anything if under the wrong conditions.
ie: A fire cannot be created in absolute zero.

Or think of it as a Pokemon who isn't forced to follow orders, but will comply most of the time.

How this RP will work is at the beginning, the fixer will select the first timeline to repair alone. After the first task has been completed, the pony with the now fixed timeline may accompany the fixer into the next timeline to aid in the repair (this also applies to the second one). Whoever's timeline the RP is currently taking place in, that is who has control of most of the NPCs such as towns people, animals, and weather.

It slowly got buried around the start of fall. Since I had a surplus of free time during the summer, I had plenty of time to regularly manage this thread and its child RP threads. He's... a bit of a derp. Of course, he's the mean-well sort and has dreams set above himself (Though, not too high. He honestly just wants to be the best winter-wrap-upper.) He has some hobies including rock collecting and tree-naming. He always wished he enjoyed art more than he does, but his life outside is usually pretty distracting enough. Nicknamed just Abstract, he fills what extra time he does have with spontaneous things. Still lives with his parents and doesn't think much about it. Grew up between Ponydale and Cloudsdale and has friends in each.

Damaged Timeline (What changed): Abstract doesn't know it, but he was adopted. Unfortunately, his adopted parents got caught up in a storm and one of them passed, causing the other to never go looking for a child at the time and place Abstract got adopted. In the alternate dimension, Abstract is a stray with a pretty cold heart. Rather withdrawn, he joined a group of rogues and is co-leader of one of Ponyville's cults (the place he resides.) He believes himself to be truly from Cloudsdale and still has a hobby of rocks and trees... but his new life caused him to, for whatever reason, be obsessed with butterfly breeds as well. He finds himself more as a rebel than anything.

The OC himself fits in with the guidelines, but the changed timeline requires some editing. Specifically towards the cult and passing away part.
