Personality: Tends to stray away from everyone(he don't want them to know his truth) can be friendly in the night time but hides in day.
Backstory: He was around during the time of discord which is where he was cursed trying to stand up to discord before the sisters had stood up to Discord (he still can recall the day they stopped him). After Discord was turned into stone and put on display in the sister's garden, Sacred Crimson walked for a cure that Celestia had promised him. After the sister of night had turned, he stood under Nightmare Moon as part of her army because he could only be normal during the night time. After that he was not seen for a long time but ponies talk about the changing pony that when in daylight he was a different pony all together. Ponies say that he was cursed by Celestia but very few even know the true story.
Regarding the gossip about being cursed by Celestia? I'm feeling a bit sketchy there. I know she can be a troll, but she's not cruel, at least not for other ponies to see.
Also, seeing how old he is, you might want to change colt to stallion, unless there's something else you haven't mentioned.

I'm sorry but this seems like you're trying to stand out too much. Most of his things don't even have a reason.
How on earth did he live that long?
Why did Discord curse him?
Why did the cure Celestia gave him only work at night time?
We see in the show Nightmare Moon had no army, so was he just one stallion helping her?
And what changes between day and night?
