A thread for everyone to post games that they get nostalgic about. It could be anything :P.
For me I get nostalgic about RCT2, civilisation 3 and probably AoE 2. :D
Spyro the Dragon, oh my gosh! O: That was
the childhood game for me!
Kids these days will most likely think it looks dopey, but hey it's PS1 graphics.
Spoiler: Couple of examples show (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WTi3UpQ2F0M/T-yl4QhByTI/AAAAAAAAANQ/dfGU6n7TOq8/s1600/Spyro+the+Dragon+Title.jpg)
But it's not the graphics that matter, it's the gameplay and story. You learn that growing up in the age of the PS1 and the ages before that, youngins!
I'm actually quite tempted to dig up my old Spyro game and do a Let's Play of it once I'm able to record console games. X3 I barely remember it anymore, I have some nostalgia for it, and hey, maybe some kids will get to see what he was before Skylanders.

Can't forget about the soundtrack :3
I miss Warcraft II, it was a step up from the first game, and started a shift from the orcs being completely evil.
I still get goosebumps watching this cinematic X3
Spyro was basically my first PSX game, I still love the first one though 2 and 3 are pretty good as well.
As far as Nostalgia goes I have way too many games I remember, but my favorite has to be Kirby Super Star almost everything about that game was perfect. Co-oping with friends treasure hunting in it the list goes on. :3
And the soundtrack is also amazing.
Fun Fact: The soundtrack for Spyro 1-3 was composed by Stewart Copeland, drummer of The Police.
Anyway...

My first RPG and its the best ever made. All other games are obsolete compared to this.
Here is a little story when I first played Civilization 3...
I started off and I had my little settler. I had no idea what to to so I walked around for loads of turns. Then I realised that I could place a city down, so I did. After I did it turned out I had made a city right next to another nation. They weren't that friendly and told me to move my city, so I didn't and declared war on them. I got pumped for the battle between me and them. I lost within a turn. Why? I didn't put anyone to guard the city. They walked in and I was defeated.
And now everytime I play civ 3, I use this (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12501&s=a4269121751d61a93a8b0f4e590c02eb) trainer to anihilate everyone
Mine was

the story and the soundtracks were really... wow :')
Also final fantasy 7-8-9 marked an important part of my childhood.
Just gonna pop this here

I kinda get it from any of the civ games. And then I found out the newest one has a Lunar Republic mod. So now I need to save some money to get the new civilization game lol.

I never played any of the Digimon games or Pokemon Snap, but...
O: Pokemon Stadium!! I think I still have it. I still have my N64. :3
Two of my all-time favorite RPGs. Spent a massive amount of time playing both.
Dungeon Keeper II :]
It has been nearly
12 YEARS since its release...
And its sequel is less than a month from release...
Man I love this game so much!
Ah the thrills and chills... ovO

:3
This scared me when it was first released
Before those darn rabbids came along and made a mess of the franchise, Rayman was my Platformer hero
Secret of Mana
Terranigma
Illusion of Time
]
Secret of Mana was one of my favorite games, together with terranigma and illusion of time.
I still have my SNes and those games and i still love to play them.
The Stories of those 3 Games are better than every story you get in new games and you play them alot longer. To complete Terranigma without a guide you need approximately 70 hours or more.
-one of the images kept giving google chrome a malware warning, so I just got rid of them-
McSleuth
Devil May Cry... Need I say anymore? XD
Dante's always been a fun character to listen to in any game; bunch of wisecracks here and there, that "I don't give a darn" attitude of his, it just makes me laugh. Such a shame his character was changed in the New DmC:Devil May Cry, but it's a reboot :U Kinda expected this. Both the original and the new are great games, but DmC does it a little bit better in combat fluidity and Devil May Cry 1-4 does it better in difficulty and mechanics... Ok, no, Except for DMC2, thaaaaat one kinda went bad, though I think some elements in the story there influenced DmC.
Pokemon Stadium. They should make a new one. Dunno how much work that would take with the amount of pokemon there are now, though.
Plus, I think they'd put it on Wii U, which I don't have and don't have the money to get. >.< Would be cool to get a Wii U, though. Especially to get Wind Waker in HD.
OH btw:
One of the few Legend of Zelda games I've ever played. The funnest one I've ever played. Wind Waker! :3 I didn't get all that far into it, though. Still, I had fun and loved it.
When I heard they're gonna release an HD version of it for Wii U this fall, I thought "Pfft, who needs it in HD? I could buy the GameCube version and play it on my Wii instead of needing a new console thingy." But then I saw the screenshots, and I was like O:
The first Mortal Kombat on Genesis. Of all thousands games I own that always set me up in a good mood of countless of hours playing that game. I still remember the fatalities, cheat codes and secrets. Man I love that game.
One of the first games I ever played (that wasn't Pokemon, which is still very nostalgic to me) is Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. And boy was I glad I got into the series, or I would have missed some spectacular games!
Oracle of Ages and Seasons aren't really that popular of Zelda games, as far as I know, and I find it a shame that more people don't know about them. Maybe they're not the greatest, maybe they reuse most of their spritework from Link's Awakening, but the heart that you find in most Zelda games is still there, and personally I'll never forget them.
[glow=darkgreen,2,300]The old C&C[/glow]
Castlevania :D My favorite Action-Adventure/Platforming game franchise.

This. Pretty much this. Oracle of Ages is what introduced me to the Zelda franchise. And it's STILL my favorite of them all. I'm just glad someone else knows of it.
Oh, and the bit about pokemon. Blue was my childhood. (and i still get nostalgia bombed from Gold, as well.)

My first multiplayer game I believe. My sister used to destroy me on it as Sonya.
I got to rent megaman legends once, I like it but for some reason I don't want to talk to anyone about it though.

If you fell asleep for a full day with the system still on then sure 70 hours or more would be fine.

This game was extreme, you had to use a magnet system on every turn because you were going so fast.
I may not remember all the mayhem I caused in this game, but I'll never forget that song.

Still have the disk too. So many burnt hours...
some of my favorite games of all times have been Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, Kirby Super Star, Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country 2 & 3, Yoshi's Island, Lufia II, Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past & Ocarina of Time...
