I'd love to contribute, but I must ask why you interjected your own part, took out Rainbow's, and crossed out what is, in my opinion, one of the better parts of the song.

I thought it would be really hard to mix it...

hmm maybe not as hard as you think all you would do is fade out the background singers and have whomever is recording the lines for each part then place them in the correct timing so they overlap like any chourus part realy ((btw im bad at editing so i have no idea if it works as easy as im saying it))

Anyways, no, it's not hard at all - At least I don't think so, and I think I did a good job on Loyalty (Both Ryo and I sung).

All I would need to mix it is the proper individual audio files.

For example: The choir files, then one for Rarity, one for Applejack, one for Rainbow, you get the idea.

It would however, take a while to mix and edit for it to sound perfect, though it's still not hard in my opinion.

If no one else wants to do this, I'm game... Though I could use some help perhaps, you know, to make it sound as good as possible. :]

Don't worry about mixing it, StarSong. I'm very competent at mixing in audacity, and I know a few other ponies have their fair share of experience with it as well.

I'd also like to claim Applejack's part as well as probably contributing to the chorus some :].

Quite the difficult choice indeed! Fluttershy line is more bashful and shy, while pinkies is more hyperactive!  :I Though all said and done, going to have to go with pinkie pie mainly because she has less lines then fluttershy.

Your accent isn't enough to make your voice hard to understand or anything. It's just that you pronounce certain sounds with slightly more emphasis or use a slightly different sound. When you sing to music, however, I find it harder to notice.

As an update to this post, I've been trying to record the real thing all day long, but as you can see from the demo and the video I just uploaded to the Road to Alpha, there's a LOT of background noise. :l

Yup, I noticed, still rocks though. ^-^

Yes, I did add it myself with GarageBand. It was quite simple you know, it's not the first time I've done that. Take a look at my other songs. :]

I use the Microphone that came with my (Now) broken Skullcandy Hesh Headphones. Looking to get a Blue Yeti soon, along with some Beats Headphones.

Also, if no one else takes it, I can do the intro too. I love voice acting more than singing usually ^-^. Though, of course, I already have a spot, so I won't take it if someone else not already singing wants it.

I agree with that. Changing names and lyrics doesn't fit here in my opinion.

a long time responding but my recording dont tend to have the same voice since well my real voice is bad  X3 as ive made you all suffer before but I will work on the recordings soon I promice it may not be this week there is a lot going on but do expect them  ^-^ i never let a challange go unfinished for it is in my title to compete them ((i think :P))

Right now I'm recording myself singing the entire song. I always do that as practice for any voice or acting work I do because it helps conceptualize exactly what it is you're doing. Once I post that, I'll finalize my part and the chorus.

The pitch I did it at and Twilight's gives it a weird reverb effect.

The way you did it, I don't know, wasn't expecting it in the first place and it was a fun surprise while blowing stuff up in Borderlands. lol

Actually, it's not a bad idea to start it with just static. Audacity and programs that can cancel out static need a sample for it to work properly, and there is no way he's going to take out the static while he singing, so the sample at the beginning isn't a bad thing. If you're doing the mixing, Julius, you should use Audacity, not Garageband to do it (I'm just making an assumption that you were going to use Garageband :P.) Audacity can, more precisely, edit and position the tracks together, as well as cancel out noise like I said.

I was planning to use Audacity for that, Garage Band for the vocal effects (If I should add any).

As far as I know, you can't zoom in nearly as much in GarageBand as you can in Audacity. You can zoom in so far in Audacity that it lets you see the individual peaks of the waves. And, of course, the farther you can zoom in, the more precisely you can edit it. As far as effects go, GarageBand doesn't edit sound at all aside from splitting tracks. All it does is apply a universal effect to them. You can't modify the actual wave data, let alone at certain parts of the track (besides volume or panning), in GarageBand. So yes, you certainly can edit the data first in Audacity, and then mix it all together in GarageBand. That'll work fine too.

INDEED lets not let this project take forever those names need to be green and this thread filled with the audio of those awsmoe ponys who are willng to record and if those ponys cant do inform so that changes can be made to listings ^-^

Unfortunately I need to drop out. I should have done so earlier, but I kept hoping that I'd have the time and opportunity to record my part. I'm going to just let someone else take my part instead of delaying the whole project. Good luck everypony!

Right next up I'm going to Send a PM to all involved in this project who are currently missing segments and see their involvement in this project and if I receive no response from them by the 11th of January then you may be written off

Also Any new ponys taking the place of open parts ((Currently AJ's Parts)) I will review all entries every two weeks and I will give a Warning then if at the end of a month I receive no files then I will write off the name unless a genuine reason is given

Also to sum up IM A UNOFFICAL ORGINISER all say still goes to Starsong and if she doesn't like my methods then she can call me out it's her project not mine
