It's getting ridiculous okay? I've had to do that test to ensure the website I wasn't a bot like 15 times now. And I'm not even posting that much! I'm just opening many tabs and topics to see what's been posted. Honestly, it's getting to be too much. It bothered me when I wanted to make the OOC board for my new roleplay and when I finished that checking thing I forgot what I wanted to do ._. Can it be a little bit less trigger happy?
What does it ask you to do?
It's the anti-spam thing that checks for spam bots, asks me to do simple sums like 1+2 or 2+4. It gets annoying after a while and sometimes erases what I've typed for a reply and I have to type it all over again ._. I'll put up a screenshot...

Excuse the desktop ponies...
That's really weird.. I've NEVER seen that before, I didn't know that the spam bot checker did that. :I
And this isn't the first time. It's done that once before, but that was a long time ago. And now IT BOMBARDS ME WITH SIMPLE MATH QUESTIONS ovO

You're just...soo..suspicious! ovO
I'm guessing the "multiple tabs" thing has something to do with it, because I've never had that happen at all....
...Or I suppose it could be the desktop ponies somehow, but I doubt it.
EDIT: Oh, just now payed close attention to the screenshot. When you said multiple tabs, for some reason I thought you meant multiple tabs of the forum. I always have multiple tabs for different sites open too, so it's definitely not that :P
It's official.
Tiger is a robot.
Was that a Best of ChuggaConroy tab? :D
Check your PM tiger.

No famous, all of her IPs are marked as being a spammer. My best guess is the ISP use a Proxy and thats why she is marked as a spammer even if her computer might be clean.
Wierd I don't see Tiger spam posts.

No, but spammers are using her IP; most likely through a proxy.
dident this also happen to her A LONG time ago?
Well, this is bad >_> I don't know anyone with tech stuff like that so I suppose I'll have to check with my brother...

No, infamous. Famous means well known for a good reason, while infamous means well known for a bad reason. It's an english thing, SweBow ^-^.

Can't you just replace you're computer? If it can't be replaced I think you can sue them for selling false merchendise unless there was a contract when you bought it.

This goes much deeper than just computers. Replacing the computer won't do anything.
Tiger: Do what all the cool kids are doing and switch your router to have a dynamic IP. :]
I still suggest asking your ISP. Because I think your ISP use a Proxy so it's not your computer persay that is infected but someone else that used the same IPs sometime.
Maybe a friend , or someone who has access to you're computer spammed?Try checking you're browser history maybe you will see forums that were spammed in.

That's not a very good idea. If it is a virus of some sort, in the absolute worst-case scenario, she can re-format and the virus will be 100% gone (unless it's a kernel rootkit.) If it's not a virus, and it's an ISP thing like SweBow is saying, then replacing the computer wouldn't fix it because she is still using the same network. Technically, if she's using a wireless network, any computer she uses in her home would mark her as a spammer. That's one way she can test: use another computer. If using another computer still marks you as a spammer, it's your ISP, if it's a virus (assuming her computer is the only one with it), then using another computer won't trigger the spammer alert.
Well, I used the HTC flyer yesterday (Kind of like a phone but it's bigger and can't call anyone and doesn't really have a phone number ovO) and it didn't mark me as a spammer. Though the spammer marking thing is not really happening right now even when using this computer that kept detecting me as a spammer :0

Your "phone" is most likely on a different link than your router, which would explain why you can use it and not your computer.
It's like how I could have internet access on my cell phone while my router was busted, or when I'm away from home.
The anti-spamfilter don't care about your computer. Only what IPs has been reported/captured.

It's not. I know it's not. It connects right to the router.
