Think of it as an alternate reality...
What if the internet never found out about Friendship is Magic and the fanbase never took off,
How do you think this would've effected the second season?
The world would be a better place.
Seriously.
The world would be a little duller.
MLP:FIM doesn't air at my county so I won't know about it.My life will continue as normal, usually obsessing over other things like games or animes.
Well LoE wouldn't exist for a start. :D
EDIT: MLP airs here in the UK, but you have to pay to get the channel it airs on I believe.
I only heard about MLP via various references to it and YouTube videos on the internet.
Eh...
Sites like EQD wouldn't exist (Something I find would be good. Thinking about that site makes me rather mad.)
However, some of the best works of art I've seen wouldn't exist.
It's a so-so thing I guess.
Well, it would have its ups ad downs.
Personally, I'd still love the cartoon. Heck, I got into the show before I knew there even was a brony community.
However, I'd probably still be a major internet lurker, never really making any friends online like I have been now. I'd probably still be a big ol' doormat too, like I used to be before I met you guys.
Having not watched season 2, I don't know it would effect the show itself, however on a personal level, I think my life would be pretty similar as it is now, only my leisure time would be replaced with somthing else, the big part of this fandom that would be vastly different would be the people I have met over the internet in recent times
I'd also imagine my sleeping/emotional state/education would be atleast somewhat less derailed than what it is now
I would be even more lonely with nothing to hold onto in life.
I certainly would NOT have a whole bunch of new pony songs lol!

Perhaps not for long... I don't know all the relevant statistics, but I'd guess that without the bronies, the show would be much less commercially successful, and thus less likely to continue for a long time.
I'd watch it like I watch shoujo anime. I have an obsession over stuff like that anyways, Shugo Chara being my most recent one.
But probably wouldn't have many friends, stuck doing nothing in particular, some art on the side, roleplaying on thefantasyforum.com and stuff like that.

probably wouldn't have pulled out of depression as fast.
Yup, MLP certainly cheers me up, and I wouldn't have ever watched it if there hadn't been a ton of random MLP stuff on the net nagging me to watch it. :)

Better to die strong than to live in vain.
I wouldn't be nearly as happy.
Might have actually committed suicide... :'(
Wouldn't have changed a thing with me. I still would love the show and watch it.

So..you think our community is bad...yet you have the most time online here..seems legit

Same :)
Given the fact its an alternative reality.
I can only speculate and assume the earths core gave out, causing the solar system to collapse,
sparking a chain reaction of, coincidently this would end the universe before recreating the big bang,
creating another reality upon where Friendship is magic does exist.
And the event would continue to happen until such a time arises and brings forth the wonder and magic we all share here today. :]
Dust.
I probably would have never watched the show personally. The large amount of fan art that showed up on deviant art made me wonder why it was so popular and I understood after watching a few episodes.
The show would also have less of an influence from the fans (less hidden jokes and references only older fans would get, fan-favorite background ponies would probably not be the same, etc) and the show would probably have a lot less potential and shorter lifespan than it does due to the extra fan base.

Egads....it all makes sense now :I
I wouldn't of never met a amazing friend. I'd still be a quiet person since discovering ponies has made me come out of my shell and never shut up. My depression wouldn't have lifted a bit.

I like how you put your name at the end, it's so appropriate to the image you conjured ovO
if bronies didnt exist...PARADOX O:
I was really hoping to get some answers on how season 2 would've been like and if derpy hooves was never put in because nobody pointed her out in the first episode. >:/
If the fanbase never existed, I probably wouldn't have spent so much time on the internet enjoying pony stuff. Although I may have decided to run into it later on since I love Lauren Faust's work. :D

This, except it wasn't just the art, it was the fan videos, songs, images, ect that I kept seeing everywhere that encouraged me to go see what the hype was all about.
If I did somehow get into the show though, I'd probably explode from having nobody to talk with about it.
I guess I wouldn't be into Mlp. It because of the internet I discover it. I probably just keep collecting video games and.watch anime all day.
I think that everything would be a little bit sad ç_ç mlp it's just an epic series, and it's even more awesome that there is a community like this one behind it, that makes it even more magical! I think that without mlp i would have been more focussed on thinks like Dota, or maybe some mroe anime, i dunno, but i'm very very happy to had found this world ;)
I would have been obssessing with transformice rather than mlp fim XD
This question would never be asked.
