Name: "Ink Comet" (Hides real name since he doesn't think it lets him 'fit in'.)
Race: Earth Pony
Lives: Edge of Ponydale (Or is it Ponyville here?) in a small house with fenced garden.
Personality: Typically stubborn and snarky, having a hard time opening up to others he hasn't met yet. He seems to get sudden spurts of cheerfulness when alone, which he'll be open to others if they 'respond correctly'. Once befriended, he will openly gossip to his friends and sometimes playfully hassle them. Careful, he can be quite clingy and touchy (as in he'll like to lean onto friends).
Friends: A dapper unicorn stallion (Honest Jack) who has a die(you know, like dice but only one?) cutie mark. He considers his father a very close friend as well.
Skills: Obtained cutie mark due to his ability to write fiction drabbles, but has shown skills in gardening, digging, making plush dolls, and cooking.

Race: Pegasus Pony
Lives: Anywhere and everywhere (Mostly attics of those in whatever town she's in.)
Personality: Shy, keen on making friends, nervous for the new things, but brave for the old things
things she has done, and ready to learn even if the lessons don't stick.
Friends: Due to wanderlust she has no 'real' friends but she has a lot of acquaintances.
Skills: Ability to make fire under her hoofs thanks to cutie mark and pegasus magic. Able to be sneaky due to constant hiding from danger and who she perceives as dangerous.

Shadow Fire while young enough to be with her parents yet old enough to be moving out has been struck with a sense of wanderlust. This wanderlust caused her to run from home and explore the world. Learning to hide and run in the face of danger due to being still being young and not having the strength nor skill to take on anything head on. Her Cutie Mark is a set a flaming wing due to being able to set things on fire.

Name: Honest Jack

Lives: Ink's House
Personality: Crude and known to be cruel. However, he puts on a friendly face around others, and finds enjoyment when others play by his own rules.
Friends: "Ink Comet" and certain unamed, dapper stallions that keep a low profile.
Skills: Incredible gambling prowess, which is how he gained his Pink Die cutie mark. He also seems to be great at coordinating classy outfits, if not to only surround himself in well dressed company. He seems to understand various weapons very well, but claims to have never touched one. 'Well read', he says.

It was another day in the small home of Ink, the earth pony squinting at what he had wrote, but soon decided to step away from the computer. His home was small, just him and a friend, but it was nice to him. Enough about him enjoying his house, though. He steps out of his house after adjusting his indigo jacket, his tail flicking upwards as if this was all an annoyance. Once sure he was ready, Ink Comet left his little two story abode, not sure what he'll find today.
Maybe some flowers?
Fabric sale?
Friends?

Jack was at his public gambling booth, trying to earn some quick cash. He had trouble with any managerial figure, so running his own little business was a good bit of income for him, even if it wasn't the primary source of revenue. The gambling booth was little more than a black table with a roulette wheel on one side of it and a deck of cards on the other. Next to the booth, there was a sign reading "TEST YOUR LUCK![/i]

Miru slowed to a stop in front of Jack's both, squinting a little with a knowing grin on his face.He gave himself a small jostle to adjust the saddle bags on him, then placed a bit on the counter of his booth. "I wanna have a spin. Is that how it works, Friend?" He can't help but titter, finding himself in a rather jolly mood due to being around someone he recognized.

Shadow watched as the earth pony left his abode, before looking at his house seeing if it had an attic. Seeing as it didn't have any obvious route for a quick escape she continued her search for a place to stay in this new town checking out the ponies and houses as she looked around.

Jack shot a little glare at Miru, then he takes the bit. Miru always knew how the game was played-Jack had a bit of a pattern for making a profit, and Miru's figured it out. It was probably the risk of the pattern getting out that made Jack implement a fee to gamble in the first place. "How much do you want to bet?"

Sparkle walked through the streets of Ponyville, admiring the scenery.  She had just recently arrived in the town, and was here on vacation.  She had just been on a crazy adventure a couple months ago, and she felt like relaxing for a bit.  She was heading for the marketplace, and passed by Ink Comet on the way.

Ink's house does probably have an attic, but by the looks of it, it's on heavy lock down. The earth pony seems to be a bit paranoid of people breaking in, even in a peaceful world such as this.
Ink placed down his usual three bits. "I'll bet just these three. I feel like starting out small again." He grinned, at least able to keep from giggling at the grumpy, gambling guy. "I'm still surprised you let me play. Is it cause we're friiiends?" He asked, resting his cheek on the counter and batting his long eyelashes at the other. He knows you don't like this, and that is EXACTLY why he's doing this in public. His long ears swiveled back to face Sparkle as she walked by. Deciding to help Jack, he lifts his head off the counter and calls out to her.
"Hey, Miss! You wanna play this booth's game after me? It's really fun, you know!" He called out, his big goofy grin on his face.

Jack's half tempted to blurt out something about how he only let's Miru pay because no matter how much money he loses to Miru, he still gets payed back by Miru buying pretty much every necessity there is for Jack, the dirty freeloader. The only thing that stops him from spouting out mindless dribble is Miru's possible attraction of another customer. "What'll ya play? Blackjack? Roulette?" Knowing Miru, Go Fish would have been the most likely answer, were it an option. RUN SPARKLE RUN IT'S A FIXED GAME.

"Oooh! Roulette! I love watching it spin and spin!" Excited bouncing from the lavender pony. He seemed to always chose it at this point, only because it was fun to watch. "_{I place my bet on seven!}" Wiggle wiggle goes the currently chipper male. He might fall back to being grumpy soon, but for now, he'll be grinning like an idiot.

"Number seven it is!" Jack picks up a roulette ball with his magic then drops it into the wheel, then spins the wheel, and then the opposite direction. The ball lands on number seven. Jack placed three bits on the table next to the ones Miru placed down and pushes them over to Miru. "Congratulations, the odds are in your favor." Were it a regular customer that won, Jack would have put a bit of flair and excitement into that statement. Instead, he sounded annoyed, a little angry even.

He brings the six bits over to himself...Then digs out a pear for the other. You keep healthy. But, he does pocket the bits, stepping aside and waiting to see if the mare will play Honest Jack's game. Of course, still grinning and bouncing a little as if this was one of those stretch and squash cartoons or something. Gosh he's so jolly.

Sparkle stops in her tracks and looks back at Ink Comet.  She sees the game, and gives a small smile.  She doesn't gamble, but this looked like it could be fun.  Of course she wouldn't actually risk anything worth much, since she knew these things were usually rigged.  "Sure thing!  I don't really have much else to do anyways," she says, and walks over to the booth.

Shadow walking past some ponies gambling takes an extra second to look at the owner of the booth deciding to avoid him in the future and decides to wait at the hotel or inn and see if she can share a room with anypony. Seeing as this towns attics are all locked down for some strange reason.

Hey maybe the game isn't rigged. The name 'Honest Jack' seems perfectly trustworthy!
"It'll cost a bit to play, and then however much you want to gamble." Jack tried his best to sound much more friendly than he did with Miru, but there's only so much friendliness a voice described as 'constantly wanting to toss whoever he's speaking to into a pit of hungry snakes' can express.

Naah, probably just Ink's due to him and his roomie being paranoid. Miru notes the grey mare acting strange and possibly picking up the pace as she headed to the hotel. He leans in closer, softly whispering to the mauve stallion. "_{It seems you frighten the ladies, Jaaack.}" He quietly teased after Jack gave his pitch to Sparkle.

Sparkle said, pulling out 2 bits.  She had overheard Ink Comet play, and figured there might be a strategy to this.  She tried to remember what he had picked; 7.  She figured picking 7 again would be too obvious, so she thought of another way this could work.  7 was an odd number, so... "I''ll pick an odd number then," she says, remembering that all she had to do was pick a number, color, or wether or not its even or odd.  She placed the 2 bits on the table, feeling confident.

He repeats the wheel spinny thing, and sure enough, the ball lands on three. "Congratulations!" Jack says as he pushes two bits over to Sparkle. "Perhaps you'd like to go for double  or nothing?" Jack tries to give a wide smile, but it just looks...off. Like a doll's smile.

Ink raises his brows for a moment at Jack's words, looking away before trotting off. "Eeeey have fun I gotta go do the. The. The shopping thing. You know what I mean." Scamper scamper. His path to the market leads him to passing by the hotel, where Ink stops to stare at her blankly. _{Small squint. I don't know you.} However, despite his aggressive vibes, he continues walking to the market, staring at her a bit more before it just became uncomfortable to look at her due to the angle of his head.

Shadow stared straight forward not daring to look like she knows Ink is looking at her being in one of these situations before. She slightly ruffles her wings to make sure her items are still on her in case things turned south.

"You can, if you'd like. You can pick an even number again, or gamble on one of the other choices." Jack, despite having lost the first game, still sounds fairly confidant. After all, the house always collects in the end. "Whatever you think'll get the pay out." The strategy wasn't as easy to guess as it seems-Jack does have a plan in mind, even if it doesn't look like it.

After Ink walked a bit further, he let out a loud, sudden 'HA!' which was more of a brief, shark yell of a cackle. He suddenly remembered the time Jack tried to cook and got flour all over himself. AAAHAHAHA. Ah, cooking is not his strong suit. AAAHAHAHA. Ink please calm down. He stops by the bakery, and decides to get some doughnuts. Gosh, he ain't gonna fry dough himself! That is just silly. Mainly because he doesn't have the good tools for it to meet his own standards.

He drops the ball into the wheel and spins it both directions, and it lands on...lucky number seven. "Ooh! So close. Perhaps you should give it another go? They do say that you're bound to win some money from gambling, as long as you put in the effort." As he said this, he pulled the four bits back to him from the other side of the table.

Sparkle's smile dropped just a bit.  She figured this might happen, but it still felt a bit disappointing.  Oh well, it was only 2 bits.  "Hm... alright, one more go," she said, placing 1 bit on the table this time.  She promised herself that if she lost this time, she would quit.  "I'll pick 9 this time," she said, noticing that nine and time rhymed a bit.

He drops the ball and spins the wheel, and the ball lands on nine. If one glanced at Honest Jack's horn, they would have seen a small, faint shine from it. The ball lands on number nine. He pushes a bit over to Sparkle. "Looks like the wheel's on your side after all!"

Sparkle's eyes lit up with excitement and shock.  "Alright then, I suppose i'll try double or nothing again!" she said, now thinking to try out her first idea.  "I'll pick 7 this time!" she said with a confident smile.

He spins it again, and the ball lands on number four. His horn shined faintly once more. "Ya never know what you're gonna get playin' this. I guess that's the fun of it, ey?" He says as he takes the bits.

This time, Sparkle caught his horn glowing slightly.  "..Yeah, I guess so," she sighs, deciding not to say anything about the cheating.  She didn't feel like being taken advantage anymore, so she politely said; "Unfortunately, i'm all outa bits, so i'll have to be going now.  Thanks for letting me play!" she gave the stallion a smile, and walked off.  She actually did have plenty of bits left, but that was all she was willing to gamble on.

"Thank you for your time! _{And your bits.}" He mumbles under his breath. While he was rather lucky, he had no scruples against cheating-he enjoyed it, in fact. Not winning because he cheated, but the simple act of successfully fooling someone and getting away with it. As far as he's concerned, the money was a bonus.

Sparkle walks off towards the marketplace, thinking over the past few minutes.  She figured she had probably wasted time and money, but it didn't matter all that much.  She was on vacation, so she was allowed to have fun if she wanted to, and she considered that to have been at least a little fun. She walked into the donut shop, deciding to buy herself a sweet treat. 

Ink was in there, alright, rocking back and forth a little while standing. He didn't seem as cheery as before, or even paying attention. He had a bag of doughnuts hanging off of his saddlebags, secured fully. Once the familiar white mare passed in front of him, his eyes refocused and gave an abrupt 'HI!' to her, his tone seeming to say he was not expecting to see a familiar person again. If it wasn't obvious yet, the lavender male wasn't the most mentally stable, but it was clear he didn't have any desire to lash out at her. Or...Do anything aggressive at the moment, really. The smell of sweets has lulled the unstable stallion into a pretty swell mood.

Sparkle stopped abruptly, slightly startled by the sudden hi for a moment.  She turned to Ink Comet, and smiled.  "Hiya!" she said cheerily.  For some reason this pony felt oddly familiar, but she just couldn't place from where.  So for the moment she decided to ignore the feeling of Deja Vu, and make casual conversation.  "You here to get some doughnuts too?" she asks, holding her cheery disposition.

Jack is now casually munching on the pear while playing with the bag of bits. He's bored now.

Shadow seeing smoke in the distance walks towards it in a trance while the air around her seemingly hotter than normal as she try's to see whats on fire.

"Yes! The doughnuts are...Very good. Very sweet. Jack likes doughnuts too, I hope. _{I got him a cream filled one, haaa.}" He chattered, rocking back and forth some. He was almost like those 'thirsty bird' desk decorations with how he was rocking. "Did you have fun? Do you smell smoke?" His transition in topic was a snap, his expression still the same. If one  wasn't paying attention, they might've mistook his second question for something else. You know, NOT smoke related. Ink never took his eyes off her while he rocked and waited for a response, his smile going from toothy to a fairly normal grin.

To be fair, Honest Jack probably smells of smoke.

It is not the Jack related smoke. Miru can tell the smell of smokes apart. Gosh. Like the smoke that came about from you trying to bake something for once from you and your puff-puff smoke. And. Uh. Fireplace smoke. _{Clean the chimney.}

In the middle of town ponies are celebrating this towns anniversary since being settled. A surely magnificent event to Shadow as she looks at the flaming bonfire as ponies threw cakes and other sweets not being eaten or that are stale into the fire. Asking herself how did she miss the set up of this art earlier.

He was playing with the bag of bits when he saw the fire. His first thought was 'these locals are colossal twitbiscuits. This food could probably feed them for three months. I should throw them into the fire.' His second thought was 'Ink Comet would probably enjoy this. Better go find the dolldummy.' He left the booth, casting a protection spell on the booth in case anyone decides to break in, and he goes off to find Ink.

Ink probably visited a very limited amount of stores, refusing to go into stores he was not interested in, or needed in. This left Honest Jack with a few areas. Fabric store. Doll shop (surprisingly not today). Candy shop (Not since he had that gnarly toothache.). Aaand the bakery. There he was, rocking back and forth with a pastry bag hanging off of his saddle bags. Typical. He seemed to have been talking to Sparkle, the white mare who visited Jack's booth earlier.

Jack was banned from the fabric shop for insulting the owner's work with a very creative slew of recreation English, the doll shop creeped him out, and with the sweet-burnings, there's no way he's going to the candy shop, so the bakery it was. Thankfully, that's where Ink Comet was. No bothersome dolls staring deep into your soul today, HJ!
He walks over to Ink Spot, and he notices that the white mare from earlier is there with him. He just doesn't care that much. As said earlier, the gambling thing was more for his own enjoyment then an actual profit, so he didn't care so much if it got ousted as completely fixed and broken.

Ink squealed with delight upon seeing Honest Jack enter the bakery, the fleeced pony circling him excitedly before leaning against him. Always with the TOUCHING. At least he doesn't shed all over him. "Jack! Jaaack! I smell smoke. Not your smoke. What iiis it?" He seriously hasn't noticed yet. He hasn't noticed the festival going on, gosh.

"Some local festival. They're burning loads of uneaten sweets and cakes and other uneaten health-crushers into a giant bonfire. Seems weird, uncivilized, and barbaric to me. Wanna go watch?"  Even just calling an entire town's happy, harmless tradition barbaric is mild by his standards. There's been at least one instance of him getting jail time for his...interesting choice of words.

"Oh man that's gonna smell awful! I'm glad we don't leave that close! ...Yes I wanna watch! As long as we don't stand from really close by." In other words, don't push me into the fire. I'm onto you, pal.

Please, if I wanted to get rid of you, I'd be more creative about it. "Alright, come on, it's in front of my booth in the center of town." He turns and walks away, not waiting for Ink. He's half tempted to look back to the white mare and say 'I stole your money and your conversation, get rekt.' but he didn't wanna cause a fuss. Not right now, at least.

Good lord, HJ. Ink scampered after Jack making some weird excited sound as he did so. You act so cold but I know you feel friendship, nerd. Ehehe. Ink easily caught up to Jack's side, keeping close to him as he sniffed the air. Eugh, the smell of burning sugar.

Jack's smelt worse, but this was pretty bad. He already hated food in general, but this smell in specific wanted to make him spread the fire to that one annoyingly popular bakery. HJ is too popular for your baked goods, Sugarcube Corner. A small part of Jack wanted the fire to spread to his booth, just for the potential excuse of yelling at the people who took part in the fire. That want was even partially responsible for the specific protection spell he cast on his booth.
"I scammed her, you know. That mare you were talking too." Jack says as they approach the fire. "She seemed to think that I actually had a strategy to it too. Got a good four, five bits from it."

"Oooh gosh. I had a feeling you did. That's why I left you goof." He huffed, those long of his going back against his head.  "...Do you like watching the bonfire, Jack? Just curious." He asked, ears flying back upright into a listening position.

There was a minute of silence, of Jack just...watching the fire burn brightly. "I suppose that it is a bit calming." He enjoyed the fire, but mainly for reasons of pretentious hipster symbolism, the smell of smoke reminding of home, and the warmth of the fire against him, rather than any enjoyment of the festivities or the celebration itself.

Sparkle watched as Ink Comet walked off with the pony from earlier.  She sighed, feeling lonely again.  She missed her friend that she had gone on adventures with.  She wondered where he was now.  Sparkle had suddenly lost her appetite for doughnuts, and decided to go find something interesting to do instead.

As Sparkle was looking for something else to do Shadow, still in a trance like state, crashes into Sparkle somehow. Shadow gets up holds out a hoof and says "Sorry, I didn't mean to crash into you."

Sparkle takes Shadow's hoof, getting up.  "I-I'ts alright, that was my fault," she said, picking up her saddlebag, which had fallen off.

"No, its my fault... i get distracted when i see fire and just sort of walk through ponies to get to it." Shadow says in a quite, shy way. "Do you live here or just visiting?"

"Just visiting,"  Sparkle says, putting on her saddlebag again.  "I decided to come here on vacation for the weekend.  I just got back from a crazy adventure recently," she explains, remembering all that had happened.

"OOOH sounds interesting, so since your visiting could you tell me where in Equestria we are. I tend to travel place to place with out a map so i often get lost." Shadow sheepishly explained.

"We're in Ponyville,"  Sparkle said with a kind smile. 

"Ponyville ,huh. I wonder what interesting and new things are in this area of the world. Oh, before i forget my name is Shadow Fire, but you can call me fire." Shadow says in a excited manner at the chance to explore the area of and around Ponyville.

Sparkle gives Shadow Fire a big, friendly grin.  "Nice to meet you Shadow Fire! my name's Sparkle Chord!" she says.  "Ponyville has a reputation for being pretty exciting, or at least, that's what ive heard," she says.  She knew that Princess Twilight lived here, and that several huge threats had found their source from this very town.

"Reputation of being exciting. Sounds like a blast. I think we should enjoy the festival their having." Shadow says and than whispers "Or i can show you a special pegasus trick I learned somewhere a bit more private. Sparkles your choice here!"

Sparkle looked intrigued at the mention of a special trick.  "Ooh! that sounds like fun!" she says, attempting to signal Shadow to show her the special trick.  She noticed by Shadow's tone of voice that she probably wanted to keep it a semi-secret, so Sparkle was careful not to actually mention the trick by name.

Shadow and Sparkles goes to a remote alley. "This is something I learned to do with my Pegasus magic. I can't fly with it because Pegasus magics going into it though." Shadow than lights her wings on fire. "Doesn't hurt, and I think I have all the science mumbo Jumbo down with how it happens. Don't tell any pony. Sparkle nodded.  "Alright, I won't tell anyone!" she said with her usual cheery smile.  "That's a really neat trick though!" she said.

"Yes, it is. Useful for getting warm quickly, starting fire and scaring animals away and other uses." Shadow said happy in not losing a potential friend. "What shall we do now?"

Sparkle thought about this for a moment.  "Hmm.... we could head over to the the Carousel Boutique!  I hear that they've got some great outfits!" she said.

Shadow let that thought sink into her head thinking it over before saying, "Ok. Sounds like a plan and maybe while we are there we can see what interesting things are around like that huge forest, or that gorge, or maybe even that rainbow river place way over yonder."

"Sure thing! Sounds like fun!" Sparkle said, thinking that sounded like a neat idea.

"Ok lead the way" Shadow says "You know this place better than i do." Even though Shadow can fly and find the building and wait for Sparkles. She doesn't want to leave such an interesting and maybe friend behind.

Gosh darn that pleading look. Jack had a soft spot for Ink, even if he hated admitting it. "A little bit, yeah." Ink Spot probably reads those bad romance books. The ones about vamponies and werewolves. The ones with varying shades of a darkened color in between white and black, specifically a multiple of fifty.

Ink couldn't help but squeal just a tiny bit, stamping in place like a giddy little filly. The happiest long eared pony. That gave Jack a little chuckle. "I doubt that anyone like that lives here except for me." Jack has immensely high standards when it comes to class-and he has his own idea of class to boot, and if it doesn't fit it, well...he won't hesitate to let anyone know.

"Aw shucks...You aren't ever gonna give the others a break, are you?" He titters a bit. He can't help but wonder if the only reason he hasn't moved on to one of the bigger cities is because. Well. He'd have to pay for EVERYTHING. Ehehehe. And knowing him, he'd demand servants and high class delivery of food. That would burn through his bits so fast! Ahaa!

No, Jack wouldn't demand servants and food. He doesn't trust the servants to not destroy his suits and he barely eats! Besides, who says that he wouldn't just steal someone's life, like he did Ink's? "It'd shatter my soul into pieces to give these peasants the time of day."

Honest Jack, you need to eat more. Twig. "Jack please. " He dares to roll his eyes some at the others response. "Once you hit the big time, then I'll stop rolling my eyes at you calling everyone peasants." You live with a peasant.

"Ink, please, I am the big time. I am the the touch that Midas wishes he had. I am the bee's knees. The one ripe apricot in a see of disgusting moldy rotten oranges." He's gotten kind of off track here somewhere.

Ink just stared at the dapper unicorn as he rambled on their walk through town, brows raised. "So uh...You like those apricots, hm?" Ink stop getting him further off track.

He just blinked a bit, almost as if he had to pull himself out of some self induced trance. "No. Don't know where you'd get that idea."

Sparkle thought about this for a moment.  "Well, I mean, there are all 3 tribes there, but it's mostly earth ponies and pegasi.  There are actually very few unicorns shockingly.  At least, in my neighborhood anyways," she said, suddenly feeling like she stuck out in her home town.

"We'll at least it's mostly balanced. Try living in a town being one of two pegasus." Shadow says with a frown before getting a determined look and adding "That's why I'm exploring Equestria from the west to the east. It's a lot better for me than staying in that town right now."

HISS AT HIM. "No I didn't, you're just bein' a lil' baby. I can tell the difference, you know." He spat out at the other. He's started to be able to tell the difference between Ink's-and most people's-acting fairly well. It is a bit harder with Ink Spot though, since the Fleece-pone can cry because of pretty much nothing and nearly on command.

"That's fairly strange. A bonfire like that seems it would create a nasty amount of pollution." Joystick sipped on a bottle of water, standing at a distance from the fire. Well, I should move on to more important matters. Just got to this town, I need a place to stay. He approached a pony next to him and asked, "Hey, do you know of any good hotels or anything in town?"

The pony told him where to find a nice place to stay, and he was headed there.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Joystick walked to the receptionist. Joy rented a room, number 317, and went up to take a look at it. The room was nothing special, just your standard, run of the mill hotel room.

He laid his bag onto a table before leaving the room and then the hotel.

Okay, I've got a place to stay, now what do I want to do? Maybe I could walk around town and get friendly with the locals. You know what, let's do that.

Joystick began to roam around the town, with no telling what kind of characters he would meet.

While looking down for a second time, he noticed a clear liquid draining from a previously half full bottle. "That's a purchase I should've saved on. How dare they, I was enjoying that bottle.

"Sorry. I should've been looking at where I was going. You alright?"

"I should be sorry i was walking without looking. Your the second pony i crashed into today." Shadow says slightly embarrassed. "I hope this doesn't become a trend. Oh, by the way I am Shadow."

"That would be unlucky. I'm Joystick. Most call me Joy. Nice to meet you, though I'm sure we both wish it was in a different way."
Joy smiled as he spoke, attempting to give off a friendly vibe.

"Nice to meet you too." Shadow says as she looks to see if Sparkle is still their "So do you live here or are you visiting?"

"Just visiting. I actually just rented a room in a hotel, earlier. How about you? You a local, or are you just visiting? Joystick noticed the movement; and in consequence Sparkle, but said nothing about it or her.

"Exploring Equestria so ,uh, just visiting for noW." Shadow says nicely.

Sparkle watched the two ponies converse.  Seeing the one called Joystick noticing her, she waved a little bit, and gave a friendly smile.

Joystick waved back, flashing a smile. "Who's your friend?" He asked Shadow.

"That's Sparkle Chord. I also met her by crashing into her." Shadow said pointing at Sparkle.

He sleeps a perfectly healthy amount thank you very much. If you consider one every couple of days because his body can't physically stay up, then he's as healthy as you can get. SQUINT AT THE ALICORN. "Well, Ink, it appears that we are in fact in another fever dream. I don't know which one of us here is the dreamer, but if you're the one who wakes up, slap yourself for having such a weird dream."

"Well now. I'm not like other ponies around here. I've been around dragons as they ate before, and dragons are scary. Of course the dragon didn't know i was in its cave at the time Shadow says." Shadow says in third person with a thinking face on.

"I doubt anyone in this group thinks any less of you because you're a changeling. I certainly don't mind. I doubt Shadow here would mind, even if she knew what they are. Sparkle doesn't seem like the type to discriminate, either. You've got nothing to worry about."

Sparkle nodded in agreement, offering a friendly smile.  She had met a few changelings before, and aside from the ones that captured her, the one she had talked to was nice.

As Delihah walks away Shadow turns to Sparkle and Joystick and asks, "So when am I going to find out what a changeling is?"

What an awkward group. A blushing alicorn, a long eared male hiding his face against a dapper unicorn, who is probably staring at all this with a look of slight disgust. He seems to always be disgusted these days.

Midawn puts her ears down and the blush fades a bit ..

The Earth pony finally pulls his face away from his negative friend, this time his ears going back up. As if to give himself confidence, he presses his side completely against the dapper unicorn's side. "So uh...Midawn. What are you doing here? Is there special business to do here? _{I haven't seen an Alicorn here before.}" He hasn't really seen the princesses before either, since he usually stays home unless running errands for Honest Jack.

Sparkle nodded.  "Right!  ..Heheh, uh.. which way was it again?" she said, smiling sheepishly.  She had an awful sense of direction.

*Delilah, wanting the group to move tapped her hoof on the ground while she waite for them to move*

"Where are you guys staying, anyway? Hopefully it's on the way to where I'm bunked." Joy made casual conversation, although he was legitimately curious.

"We don't really know. We were actually looking for one when i crashed into you." Shadow admitted with a small blush.

"The hotel down the way is where I'm staying, if you wanna get a room there. Come on; I'll show you the way if you want." Joystick propositioned, gesturing towards the direction of the hotel.

"OK lead the way." Shadow says looking at him and than looking at Sparkle to say, "We should follow him unless you prefer a bench."

He stays quiet, looking Midawn over, scanning for anything he found noteworthy about the pony besides the extremely obvious feature that shouldn't need mentioning. Some people learn by flipping pages. Some people must gain knowledge through pain. Some people study by television. And then there are those such as Jack, who just have to observe.

"Right then, follow me." Joy began to lead the way, looking back to make sure the others were following him, stopping and waiting if they weren't, continuing if they were.

Sparkle followed Shadow and Joy, lost in thought as they walked.  She hadn't even been in Ponyville for a day, and she had already met so many interesting ponies.

*Delilah silently followed the ponies, making sure that she doesnt get seen*

"Shadows curious what type of magics do you two know?" Shadow asks the two unicorns.

Sparkle looks over at Shadow.  "Who, me?  Well, I don't know that much magic, mostly just music and voice related things, and stuff for my potion making," she says, smiling sheepishly.  "A lot of my spells backfire too.  I can teleport though!"  she added, wanting to end her explanation on a positive note.

"Fire" Shadow said with interest, "And isn't teleporting a very high end spell?"

"Well, I guess so, but it usually doesn't work right for me.  Especially when I try to go long distances," she says, remembering all the times she had ended up random places and had to be rescued.

Midawn just stands there with a derp face

"Oooh, Oooh! Teleport me Sparkle." Shadow said with a silly grin as she got in Sparkle face, "I want to know what its like to get teleported!"

Shadow being teleported instead of a few feet to the left was a few feet above Midawn down the street. "WEEEEEHHH!!!"

Shadow than did her greatest technique to get away from Midawn. She looked over Midawn and looked overly interested in what was behind her and waited until Midawn looked and than proceeded to stand directly behind Midawn at all times. If Midawn did look at all that was.

Midawn picks up shadow by her or his legs and flings him around i would like you to get something ready...for yourself..get some strength ready Midawn flings Shadow away to Purple

"Sparkle I think Midawn the alicorn wants a fight" Shadow says to Sparkle "I can't even fight a rabbit I doubt i can fight an alicorn. What do I do!"

Sparkle just kind of watched the two ponies, confused as to what was going on.  Just as she had suspected, her teleporting had backfired... again.

Joy watched the confrontation, silently seething. What a surprise. An alicorn ruins everything, he thought. Changelings were fine, hybrids were fine, but alicorns were different. Always so entitled, those things. Ponies will tell me, "Oh, Joy, there are some nice ones!", tell me when I meet one.

Shadow seeing the look on Joys face slowly walked back to Midawn and said "Sorry of falling on you and running."

Let's be honest now, when isn't Jack a sourpuss? Well, not counting when he's cheating other people out of their hard earned money, among other valuables. "I find myself conflicted," He moved the pipe around in his mouth as to keep smoking it as he spoke. "Watching these fools fight for reasons unknown is fun to watch, but I did promise you that fireside cuddle, yes?"

THE BIGGEST GRIN. He went from huffy, to being barely able to contain his excitement. He pranced about like an excited little goat kid, squealing a little. Of course, he pranced towards his home, long limbs all over the place. How he manages not to fall is a mirac-- Nope. He fell. Straight into the lying down deer pose. Horse loaf. He just has the most surprised look on his face due to his limbs supposedly quitting on his own, but he gets back up and resumes his playful prance. That's your house mate, Honest Jack.  :)

He just shakes his head a little at Ink-he's the best friend that Jack could ever ask for: obedient, willing to please, good with others, but also the worst friend he could ask for at times because, well, he does goofball stuff like this! Jack picks him up with his magic, putting him onto his feet. "Dust yourself off, uncultured swine."

Ink stared at him with a daring glint in his eyes...Then just shakes himself wildly while staying on all four of his hooves. Little flick of his brown tail to boot. "Alright, dust and dirt free! Please don't open your champagne bottles tonight."

"Ok bye" Shadow turned around to Sparkle and Joystick and said as she walked into the hotel forgetting that Delilah was in her wings "I'll see you tomorrow, you two. And Sparkle I like being teleported."

"Um... ok.  Bye,"  Sparkle said, still utterly confused.  She wasn't really sure what to do now.  She wasn't really sure what a hotel room would cost, and was suddenly worried that the 5 bits she spent earlier would've been needed.  She bit her lip nervously, and started to slowly walk in a random direction, hoping she looked like she knew where she was going.

*Delilah, trying not to raise any suspicion, tried her best to look like a bag of some sort*

Shadow with a few bits to spare goes up to her hotel room fall on the bed only to discover in shock Delilah is still with her.

*When Delilah hears Shadow realize she was there she looked up at her*
"Well hello."

"Delilah?" Shadow says before hugging her, "Don't fight all powerful alicorns. Also why are you still with me hmmm?"

"You forgot that I was still under your wing."

Shadow looked from Delilah to her wings back to Delilah. "Huh. Well I can fly you wherever you want in town if you want me to."

Follow the silly piece of fleece to home. "Well of course I'll be drinking the ones at home. The ones I have you carry are for any immediate relief of stress that I could need, not for actual enjoyment. I keep that stuff on lockdown. No way I'd let you hold on to it."

With Delilah on Shadow back Shadow jump and flew out the window and turned around to shut it. Don't want any unwanted visitors after all. She then began to fly slowly around town with a small peaceful grin on her face.

*Delilah, being the curious changeling she is, looked around at the town below*

Shadow being the explorer she was started looking into the distance to see what was around town. As she did this she noticed Sparkle walking around town be herself. She than asked Delilah "Should we go check on Sparkle she's walking by herself?"

Ink's ears swivel around like flags landing a plane as he listens to Honest Jack's words, depicting how he felt about each bit. He seemed interested in a positive way at the first part, mainly because maybe him and that pony could hang out at some time. At least bear each other's company. He kinda liked hanging with her as well, after all! She liked doughnuts!
At the Alicorn part, his ears went down against that dusty brown mess of hair he calls a mane. "The only good thing I saw was a nice blush. I don't know what it was about, thought." Ink hummed a bit, slowing down his walking pace so he could be closer to the unicorn again.

"OK hold on." Shadow says as she flies down and asks Sparkle "What are you doing out here alone this night Sparkle?"

Sparkle turned around, hearing Shadow.  'Oh, heya!" she said, smiling.  "I was just... Enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the night! heheh," she said, hoping that was a believable excuse.  Although it was very peaceful here, not to mention enjoyable, the truth was she was looking for a place to camp out, since she guessed she wouldn't have enough money for a hotel stay.  Originally she was planning to find a friend of somepony close to her to stay with while she was here, but it was too dark to find their house now.

"Hello Sparkle."
*Delilah's changeling eyes glowing a little in the dark*

Shadow says to Sparkle in a deadpan voice, "Learn to lie Sparkle. Who laughs at a situation being peaceful? So what are you really doing hmmmm? I hope nothing illegal." Shadow getting close to Sparkle face

*Delilah pulls Shadow backwards so she could talk to Sparkle*
"Well It is peaceful tonight. I do know that your looking for a place to stay." :3

Sparkle sighed, giving in. "Alright, you got me.  The truth is I was looking for a place to camp out., because  I... thought it might be nice to sleep under the stars, since I can actually see them here," she said with a sheepish smile.

"If what Delilah says is true than you can stay with us in the hotel. I can bring a cloud for a bed so it won't be as awkward" Shadow says to as she studies the area around them.

"Oh, um, thanks, but, I wouldn't want to be any trouble..."  Sparkle said, looking back toward the wilderness.  The Everfree Forest was nearby.  It was almost tempting to go explore it... The thrill of exploring a dangerous forest at night was just too much to pass up.

Shadow seeing the look in Sparkle eyes having it before knew of its gifts and its trouble. Shadow sighed and said, "While the forest looks tempting to explore Sparkle you don't have anywhere near enough supplies to go through if something happens. For all we know their are poisons that need a cure right away. Think of what Delilah will think."

Ink's ears swivel around like flags landing a plane as he listens to Honest Jack's words, depicting how he felt about each bit. He seemed interested in a positive way at the first part, mainly because maybe him and that pony could hang out at some time. At least bear each other's company. He kinda liked hanging with her as well, after all! She liked doughnuts!
At the Alicorn part, his ears went down against that dusty brown mess of hair he calls a mane. "The only good thing I saw was a nice blush. I don't know what it was about, thought." Ink hummed a bit, slowing down his walking pace so he could be closer to the unicorn again.

"Dunno either. I'd say she was a little bit weird too. And not in the kind of half-endearing-half-annoying way you are, more in an...inconsistent type of way. Did you hear her comment about how an Alicorn can rule the world, as she pat your head? Not even creepy, just weird. Especially considering that one already kind of does. A big white one with a sun on her tush to be exact." He's mainly ranting. He enjoys ranting, he sees it as a stress relief.

Sparkle sighed, slightly annoyed now.  She had been on countless, extremely dangerous adventures while lacking the proper supplies.  Granted, she just barely survived said adventures, but she still survived!  If she could handle traveling from Canterlot to the Crystal Empire on hoof, she could handle the everfree forest.  But there was no point in arguing for now.  "Alright, i'll stay away from the Everfree Forest for now," she said, adding the 'for now' under her breath. 

"Ok great." Shadow once again getting ready to fly away with Delilah before stopping and saying "If you need a place to stay use this the room numbers on the key and don't worry about me giving the key away I'll just say i lost it. And tommorow if you want to i can go gather some supplies that would be helpful to explore the forest." Shadow said giving the key to Sparkle and flying away carefully with Delilah on her back.

"Uh, thanks!  ..Seeya later!" she said, waving as they left.  As soon as Shadow and Delilah were out of sight, she headed towards the Everfree forest, putting the key in her saddlebag.  She thought that it might be fun to stay in Everfree...  Only if she could find a semi-safe spot though.

"That's another good point. We aren't some arbitrarily chosen few, we're just a few dudes, so any further involvement with her is rather unlikely. Nothin's gonna change; the grass is still gonna be green, the water's still gonna be wet, and people like her are still going to be derided as a fool who got born above their mental station." He kept going on with this as he retrieved the glasses of wine from his...wherever. He's extremely secretive about any of the stuff he actually intends to hide and not use to insult others with.

"Have you ever thought about the sense of entitlement those guys most get? Most people have to earn greatness by strength of mind, will, something like that, but in nearly any story where they already know that they're chosen, they get told by nearly everyone they meet how great they're gonna be and how amazing what they'll do will be. They'd have egos larger than, well, mine." He floated a glass of wine over to Ink as he spoke. After he was done, he took a long chug of his own, savoring the flavor. Probably helps to wash out that pipe too.

Ink took the glass, only having a little sip. He cooed out a 'thank you' to the other, even though he wasn't that big a fan of wine. It wasn't something he could guzzle down like he could with his soda, after all. He didn't need a large amount to relax, either, seeing as he didn't get as stressed out like HJ did just by being around people. "I still can't believe we see some people with bigger egos than your's, still. A little overwhelming to me, at the least." Ink commented. "Do you think they're chosen for something, HJ?"

There was a second of silence, before HJ said "No, I don't think they are. They may think they are, but I'd hope that if there was some kind of deity that chose people for something, it would choose them after they've proven themselves worthy of the title. Never before. I guess what I mean is that nobody should be born into greatness, they gotta work for it like the rest of us." That particular view of HJ's was a bit of a leftover from one of his Uncles' large amount of influence on the colt growing up.

Sparkle made her way towards Everfree cautiously, just is case anypony was spying on her.  She passed by Ink's house, which was only a couple yards away.  She didn't know it, but she could probably be seen through the window as she walked into the Everfree Forest.

Ink's ears went straight up as he saw Sparkle pass, brows shooting up. "That unicorn just passed our house. Heading to the Everfree. Shouldn't we uh. Warn her?" He cleared his throat awkwardly, sipping the wine a bit more while his brows furrowed. He was never a fan of people mindlessly wandering into dangerous areas, as it more often than not lead to them meeting Ink's dad in a way nobody is happy with. When the Ink dad is unhappy, nobody is happy. Well. When he's MORE unhappy. He's always kinda frowning.

He takes a long, deep sigh, setting his empty glass aside before taking a rather large gulp out of the bottle, then putting the bottle away for later. And just sort of. Pouring out Ink's glass and putting it into the sink. He's probably taking a little more time then he should. "Let's get going. I'd rather not have to pull them out afterwards."

Ink pulled his bags back on, all ready. He hurried out the door after Sparkle, leaving the door open for Honest Jack. Going in pairs is always a good idea. And...Having a magic user nearby is also good. One that knows how to dispel the illusions that might pop up now and then (or were they just shadows?). "Miss! Miss don't go in there!" He called out, voice cracking as he called out.

Sparkle stood at the entrance to Everfree, a nervousited expression on her face.  She was a bit underprepared, but she had some supplies with her.  Speaking of supplies, Sparkle decided to take inventory before she went in, checking her saddlebag to see what she had with her.  Just an apple, a few bits, and a map.  Not much, but it would do. 

Sparkle turned around, hearing Ink Comet.  "huh?" she said, a confused expression on her face.

Besides switching his current suit jacket out for a fur coat because the Everfree is cold, he pretty much just follows behind Ink Spot. "Lady! This is public property that happens to be infested with many monsters that see you as dinner! We would all prefer if you did not fulfill that role!"

*Delilah waited till Shadow went to sleep to sneak out, that being one of her special talents being a changeling, to go with Sparkle*

Besides the huge annoying wrinkle that was an entitled alicorn, I had a nice time today. Joy slid his room key in to the lock. Wonder where Sparkle ran to, though. Kinda odd, for someone to run off like that.

Joy entered his room, taking in the view through the window. Nice forest shots. Trees, trees, clouds, and... a group of ponies at the base? I'm definitely checking that out.

In a quickened pace, Joy rushed to the treeline. Upon arrival, he noticed that two of the creatures were Delilah and Sparkle, while the others he didn't know. Quietly panting, he slowly approached the group, listening while he walked.

"From what I hear, that's not a good idea, no matter the excuse," he interjected, reaching the group.

Shadow sleeping fitfully from the exciting day wakes up to find the Delilah is gone. Thinking that the changeling went back home Shadow decided to scout out the forest for the trip she was going to make tomorrow. With that in mind Shadow silently flew through the air to get an birds eye view of the forest. Seeing every pony including a hidden Delilah. Shadow hid in case Sparkle thinks she brought all the attention to her.

Sparkle sighed, looking a bit annoyed now.  The last thing she needed was ponies worrying about her.  "Relax, i've been on tons of crazy adventures far more dangerous than wandering into a forest at night!" she said, her ego starting to take over.  For whatever reason, during the nighttime, Sparkle's attitude became much more confident and snarky.

Ink jumped once at Delilah's voice, then again at Joystick's voice. What a jump pony. He's not happy being near such a spooky place while the moon is rising. Ehhh...Limited visibility. Ink, to a changeling, probably radiated fear and affection. A strange combination, but it fit the scenario pretty well. "Going into the forest is...Is bad, like they said!" He chimed in, not having much to add.
"_{Jack. What's a changeling?}"

"I'v done it before."

Shadow noticing a few green eyes appear in the distance made her presence know by slowly flying ,as to not startle any pony, towards the group pointing at the eyes and saying "I think we have company."

He just shrugs at her. "Look, it'd be a great relief on my friend here," He gently nudges Ink Comet. "If you just didn't go. Now, I could just drag you back with my magic, but I'd rather not do that since I've promised to not be violent, but hey, ya gotta hurt ponies if you're gonna help em, dad always said." Your father never once said that you liar. "Oh, and to whoever that was, I'm just gonna go off and say that I think you're lying. Maybe for encouragement, maybe malice, I dunno. "

Ink rested his head against the fur lined coat HJ was wearing once nudged, looking pretty concerned about Sparkle. And all these people has left Ink shutting his trap. Should he just go into the forest with Sparkle and drag Honest away from his wine? Nnn...But that means no more fireplace cuddles! He fidgeted, frowning for once while squinting at nothing in particular.
Ink's ears swiveled forward at the sound, tapping his foot three times. Jack. Jaaaack scary thing. Do something about it I don't like iiit. :C

Sparkle was just about fed up with everypony pestering her.  If Ink didn't seem so worried, she would've just ditched the group and dashed into the forest.  Either way, she decided to ditch them.  She activated her magic, and vanished in the blink of an eye.


Sparkle had teleported to the other side of town, near the big sparkly castle that looked highly out of place in Ponyville.  She let out a sigh, glad to have finally escaped everypony.  She needed some time alone right now...

Ink's ears followed the wolf's movements, but the eyes of the nervous male seemed to light up with relief at hearing she won't be entering the woods. He even did a little dance for Sparkle, relieved tears pricking the corner of the boy's eyes. Thank you! Thank you for being safe! His dance didn't last long, too busy focusing on the nearby danger. Timberwolves. Hrff.
Ah. She's gone. He had a spooked look on his face, best described by the D8 emote.

Man, what does that guy have against ill-prepared ponies entering supernatural forests? Her decision to make. He decided to voice this last sentiment. "It's up to her whether she wants to go in or not, even if it's crazy dangerous. I mean it's not li-...well, she's gone now. I guess that settles that. How about the other pressing matter of the stares we're getting? Seems urgent."

"Hey, cheer up. The main issue's been solved. The timberwolves are someone else's problem...and by the way, whoever you are, I really don't care if she wanted to go. Lots of stupid ponies want lots of stupid things." He intends to just let someone else take care of them, then start casting runes onto the forest. He'll probably be here all night.

Shadow seeing Sparkle teleport looked into the forest. Than looking at Delilah Shadow said "Stay safe Delilah I am going in the forest to look for Sparkle. I will be back soon." No longer caring for the wolf as it had a hat. Usually wolves in hats are peaceful. With that Shadow flew quickly into the forest before anyone can stop her flying over the wolves blocking the path.

"Sorry, you not caring sounds a whole lot like 'I'm not letting you go'." Joy poked the figurative bear, antagonizing Jack.

Sparkle sat down outside the castle, frustrated and somewhat lonely now.  She missed her old friend, she wished that she hadn't left him.  But that was a mistake that couldn't be fixed now.  She suddenly remembered sensing some sort of danger nearby the forest, and, worrying about Ink now, she teleported back to the entrance to the forest, only to find Shadow missing.

Ink will probably stay by Jack's side, although he made a small alarmed sound at someone entering the forest, right over the wolves! IS SHE MAD?! Sparkle looked a bit confused at Ink's 'aaah!'-ing.  She figured that probably meant danger... or... something.  "Er.... What?" she said, sounding puzzled.

Shadow made it a good distance into the forest before catching a branch bringing her down near a castle. After some painful attempts to fly again she decided to walk to the castle to be in a safe like spot until she can figure out whats wrong with her wing.

Looks like I won't be getting my run's worth. Shame. Although, I kinda did, considering she's going in. "Making sure we were on the same page, is all." he 'clarified'. "That sounds like care too," he whispered under his breath.

I might still be in a bad mood from the alicorn.

"Shadow went in looking for you.' Joy explained, not having a single clue if him and the timid stallion had the same thing to say.

"What!?"  Sparkle said, looking shocked.  Forget safety, she had to go and find Shadow.  "I'll be right back!" she said just before dashing off into the forest.  Nopony was going to stop her, not unless they could somehow miraculously find her long lost close friend and convince him to stop her, and that was highly unlikely. 

He pointed at the wolves whenever Joystick said Shadow went in, nodding quickly. That is exactly what he was was trying to say, thank you so much! However, it seemed apparent that Ink didn't want to go into the forest, even though he looked ready for anything. Well, except falling. Earth ponies don't fly well.
AAAH SHE WENT IN. Ink ran in circles around Jack, distressed. AAAH DAD IS GONNA FIND HER AAAH. And then the crying! The crying!

Sparkle cringed at the sound of Ink crying as she ran into the forest.  It hurt her to know that she upset somepony else, especially somepony who seemed to be innocent and gentle.  She kept running, searching for Shadow. 

He mumbles a variety of things that are not allowed to be said on these forums. "Ink. Stay here. Or don't. Whatever you want. I'm going in after her." That's not the best way to comfort him, Jack. He galloped after Sparkle, practically burning with spite and anger. Beware any unfortunate changelings.

Sparkle heard hoofsteps coming up fast behind her.  She didn't even have to look back to know who it was.  "I'm not going back until I find Shadow!" she shouted behind her, teleporting some distance ahead.  She wasn't about to let that annoying unicorn stop her from saving her friend.

HOP OFF OF INK. "Listen, missy, I ain't playing this game anymore. You're either leaving, or I'm leaving you here. Either way, I'm gonna put up the runes."

Joystick sighed. "These ponies are crazy. I'll give them like, fifteen minutes or so, and then I'll go in after. You know what? They can handle themselves. I'll stay here, hold position. Scratch what I said earlier. This entire town seeps crazy."

He sat himself down, watching the forest exit. The more people in there, the more chance they get found by something. That's kind of obvious. I mean, there is some straight up scary stuff in there, I've hears. Manticores, giant starry bears, goat snake lions, chicken snakes, and so much more.


That was completely concern, no matter what he says. No apathy at all.

LOUD GROANING. Jack is heavily tempted to just. Use magic to collapse the rocks under her and be done with it. "Look, spit out your reason, we'll help, and then get out."

As Shadow walked towards where the magic light was she began to notice something was stalking her. Knowing that giving away that you knew was the biggest mistake she kept going along with a look around for anything to help defend her besides her fire wings.

Sparkle's expression formed into a slight smile.  She wasn't sure what it was, but Ink reminded her a lot of her old friend.  She teleported back over the ravine, now standing nearby Ink.  "Thank you..." she says,  blinking some tears away.  She couldn't remember the last time somepony had been this compassionate towards her.

 He gave her a light hug, still shaking just a bit due to fear and nervousness. Thank you for not dying. Seriously. He gently pulled himself away, ears still swiveling around and on alert. He knows they're not allowed to fully relax, but he'll try to remain stable to the mare till they get her out. We'll find your friend too, yes.

Sparkle wasn't expecting a hug, but it was a pleasant surprise.  Her small smile grew a bit.  As soon as Shadow was found, she would be happy to leave the forest.  Remembering Jack was still there, she turned to him for a moment, an apologetic look on her face now.  "I-I'm sorry for the trouble i've caused you.. I let my anger get the best of me, and that was wrong.  I hope you can forgive me..." she stammered, a small pout on her face.  She had the cutest puppy dog face you will ever see.  Sparkle knew it wouldn't be that easy to win the stallion over, but she hoped it would at least be a start in the right direction.

Surely Jack would understand, right? I mean, he'd come after  Ink if something bad happened, yeah? Surely he could sympathize a little with the female unicorn? Ink looked between Sparkle and Jack, not sure what would happen.

Upon noticing that Delilah and her apparent new wolf companion had run into the forest as well, he began to think that he should head in himself. However, he had second thoughts.

You would have to pay me a lot of bits in order to go into the Everfree after sundown. Also, I'd like to stay on the lookout for any more... unwanted guests.

*Delilah and Timber finally found Sparkle and Ink, Delilah almost fell into the ravine when Timber caught her by the tail, Delilah turned her head to where she could see both Sparkle and Ink*

Ink let out a spooked whinny, running around Honest Jack as if wanting him to do something. His ears went back, and he stared at the stranger and timberwolf with big eyes. Sure he could probably brawl and fight, but he honestly wanted to avoid it. And have some cocoa or something while being warm and snug. Mmmm...He needs to make a new blanket for cuddles.

*Timber turned around, Delilah's tail still in his mouth, and tilted his head in question as he saw Ink running around*

Sparkle smiled, glad to have found Delilah.  "Oh, hi!" she said cheerily.

Sparkle let out a sigh of relief, thankful that her teleportation didn't mess up this time.  Completely exhausted now, she collapsed on the ground, the strain of teleporting 4 ponies at once hitting her like a mallet.

*Timber picked up Delilah and put her on his back, then they both went into the everfree forest*

Upon seeing a very sudden flash of light, Joy found himself faced by the group, minus Delilah and Timber, who he had miss travel into the woods.

"You all okay? Ah, besides Sparkle, anyone hurt?"

Shadow finds the ravine only to see Sparkle and company teleport away.

"I think most of us are okay. Jack might have his dignity hurt, though." Ink warbled out.

Oh, I'd hope he's been taken down a peg or two.

"Good to hear. There have been no more psycho alicorn sightings on this end, either. Glad everyone is alright." The first sentence may have been unrelated to the fact that everyone was okay, but Joy would not admit it.

Taking stock of the situation, Joy realized something. "Sparkle, where's Shadow? Did you get her out?"

Sparkle got up shakily, waking up just in time to hear Joy.  "Wha....? wh-...Shado---OH MY GOSH WE FORGOT SHADOW!!" she shouted, her eyes going from sleepy to wide with shock in a split second.  She had completely forgotten that Shadow was still in there!

Shadow being lost and not having any clue where anything was decided to go back to the castle and hope thier was some supplies left for her wing as something followed behind her.

((This could be Midawn if you want Mogeko if not well put Midawn randomly somewhere. Also Shadow is a girl not a guy. lol))

"How did you forget Shadow? She was why you just went in! Hold on, I can imagine." he said, shooting a quick glance in the direction of the stallion on Ink's back.

Sparkle looked absolutely ashamed of herself.  "I'm sorry... Emotional baggage got the better of me, and in all the mayhem I accidentally forgot I was looking for Shadow and not Delilah," she explained, sounding just as ashamed as she looked.

After a while Shadow makes it to castle almost falling into some blue flowers she noticed the animals around have been avoiding. But after she crossed the bridge a feeling of sorrow came over her as she realized at the mistakes she made. Such as the possibility that Sparkle could teleport out at anytime and flying in a forest when not in danger. She starts to explore the castle.

Sparkle looked concerned when she heard Ink's crying.  She had the sudden urge to give the stallion a hug to try to comfort him, and so she did.  "There there, it's alright, don't cry..." she muttered in a calming fashion.  She wasn't even 100% aware of what she was doing, she just wanted to help the stallion feel better.  This always used to help her lost friend, so her brain sort of went to auto-mode.

Picture/Description: A strange pony like creature that love to switch gender and races, she's often a unicorn mare. But in this RP, she's an earth pony mare. Have a white coat color, a black mane/tail color and her eyes are rainbow colored.

Ink DID want to stay home. But he didn't want anyone dying. He buries his face against Sparkle during the hug, his wails quieted. He's very childish for his age, and it is a miracle that he's able to provide for two.

Ink was happy with the silence, still mighty offended by what happened. His long ears were down against his messy brown mane, a clear indicator he's not in the best of moods.

Shadow after spending awhile in the castle was able to find a path back to Ponyville. She also found the old armory, and medic place. After searching through them she found a creepy latern that seemed to make her walk away and a bunch of rotten clothe. Taking the latern in hopes it repels the creatures of the everfree she begins to walk back to Ponyville

((Alicorn are too OP. Mogeko have "Super Hearing" "Super Vision" infinite teleport everywhere and wherever is the pony she want to teleport to. That's why I limited mine completely. Also, this is not how a Alicorn do, I mean, they are usually not THAT Marysuyish))

Joy was very surprised that someone would throw s rock at this clearly very sensitive, and, as Joy assumed, not all there stallion.

Who would do such a thing? Probably the alicorn from before. If I were a betting buck, I'd go all in on that.

Where's Honest Jack been for the past couple of days? Doing Honest work, that's what. Not all Honest work, mind you, he's also been researching runes (read: stealing books from that one rich purple alicorn down the street, whats her face) to cast upon the Forbidden Forest. He's done a decent job of hiding the specific stolen books, he believes. They're nearly as hard to find as his wine. He'd ask Ink if anyone was still in the Forest, but he'd much rather just crash next to the fireplace, chug down some wine, and smack anything that dared to speak in his presence, he simply altered the specifics of the runes so that it'd only affect people entering the forest.
Once he finishes applying the runes, he trots back to his gambling booth. Wine was good, but there wasn't anything much funner than swindling innocents.

Jaaaack, someone threw a rock at meee! And I didn't provoke them this time I swear!
Ink didn't understand why someone lashed out at him, and he doesn't even know who so he could apologize for something he didn't even understand! He kept his wails and blubbering quieted, but obviously appeared upset.
"Imma...Imma go hoooome." He wept, dragging himself off to his home nearby.

Sparkle just followed Ink, unsure what to do.  She didn't really have anywhere else to go, and she wanted to make sure he was alright.  For some reason her hooves started moving before she could think though, as if it was an automatic response programmed into her to follow Ink.

Ink appreciated the gesture, and left the door open behind him to allow Sparkle in.

The house was a very strange mix, from common, comforting items to luxurious lounges and wine glasses locked up with a magic lock. It was clear that while the two drastically different ponies lived together, they refused to compromise and settle for a nice, balanced look. The Prince and the Pauper look, Ink probably calls it. It was certainly like living with royalty, that's for sure. Ha.
There was a staircase, hinting there was another floor, but it wouldn't be very polite to go up there unless invited.
Ink sighed and stoked the dying fire in the fireplace, remembering what he missed out on. He smacked his lips a bit, looking around while his ears go straight up.
"Friend, do ponies drink alcoholic drinks when sad too?" Ink finally spoke up, his voice wavering for a moment as if the volume of his own voice spooked him. It was an indoor voice, but it seems almost anything could spook this long earred stallion.

Sparkle followed Ink inside, looking around at the decor.  The mix of two drastically different decorating styles was somewhat relaxing to Sparkle, although she wasn't sure why.  She looked over at Ink, hearing what he said.  Looking around and seeing nopony else here, she assumed he was talking to her.  "I-I dunno, i'm sure some ponies probably do," she said, unsure exactly how to reply.  She didn't drink herself, so she wouldn't know.

His ears swiveled around as he thought, then shuffled into the kitchen. He then did one of the more...Uncommon things. Standing on his back hooves, he began making himself a cocktail of a drink. Something sweet and weak. How fitting.  He downs a shot of it to test it, approves of it, then makes himself a glass.
"I think this is why Jack has so much. He must be a sad sad pone." He exhales, head hanging low and submissively still. "Or angry a lot. Probably angry." He leaves the kitchen, walking normally again and sitting on a well worn love seat. They don't really need a big ol' couch since its just the two of them. They don't usually have visitors either. (Unless you include Ink's editor, but that's pretty rare as well.)

Sparkle just stood there somewhat awkwardly, unsure if she should sit down without an invitation.  She hadn't visited many ponies houses before, but she thought she remembered being told that it was impolite to sit down unless your host invited you to do so.  She could be remembering wrong though, but she thought it was better safe then sorry... or something like that.

He looked back over at her, slightly stressed. Pat pat the spot by him? "You're...Making me nervous." He tittered out, trying not to on edge. He failed miserably, unsurprisingly. He simply sipped his drink again, the brief smile already gone.

"O-oh, um, i'm sorry," Sparkle stammered, finding that she was a bit nervous herself.  Seeing that Ink wanted her to sit next to him(or at least thats what she thought) she... rather slowly, walked over to the couch where Ink was sitting.  Eventually reaching said couch, she slowly and carefully sat down, hoping that this was the correct thing to do.

The couch itself probably smelled of flowers and hay, as well as with a bit of salt and something metallic. Ink didn't notice, probably 'nose blind' to it or just didn't care at all at this point. Eh. It's just a rare guest. If they say bad about the house, it just means less guests. That thought doesn't bother him in the slightest. He stared ahead at the flickering fire in the fireplace, feeling mentally tired.
"Do you...Know anyone that was there? Who threw that rock at me? _{Did I do something wrong??}" As he spoke, tears welled up, threatening to spill out.

Sparkle looked concerned.  "You didn't do anything wrong..." she said in a soothing tone.  "I don't know who threw the rock at you, or if anyone was there, but i'm sure it was probably just an accident or something.  Maybe it just fell off of a larger rock," she said, not wanting to assume somepony would have malicious intent.  She always wanted to see the best in everypony, even if they didn't seem nice at first.

I swear Honest Jack is good too, Sparkle. He's just a grump butt around commoners.
Ink made a mumbling, sad sound, hanging his head a bit more.  "It's much too late to be throwing rocks around. Mweeh....Where is Jack? He left during the stuffs. Nnnn...Cheated out of a promise again!"

Sparkle looked ever so slightly confused now.  "Promise?" she said somewhat absently.  She wasn't really sure what Ink was talking about, but she had a feeling that his other friend had promised him something, although she wasn't sure what.

"The unicorn that went after you promised fireplace cuddles with me. Bweh...I'll pester him about it when he comes home." He huffs.

"Ah,"  Sparkle said.  She wasn't really sure what else to say now, as she didn't know what Ink would want to talk about, if he wanted to talk about anything at all.  And she certainly didn't have anything interesting to talk about herself, so she sat in silence for a moment, waiting for Ink to maybe say something.

He sipped his drink quietly, staying quiet for a few minutes. "You want to stay here?" He asked about five minutes later.

Sparkle looked away from the floor and up at Ink Comet.  "Uh.. s-sure! I-if that's ok with you," she said, a small smile forming on her face. 

"I don't mind. Since you don't seem to be one for drinking wine or touching the expensive stuff, I'm sure Jack won't mind either." He chattered out, still staring at the fire. He's listening, I promise.

Sparkle's smile grew a bit.  "Thank you..." she said, grateful that she could stay with Ink.  If it weren't for him, she'd probably be sleeping outside, or worse, in the Everfree forest.  She honestly might not've come out of the forest if it weren't for him. 

Ink just made a strange tittering sound, feeling bashful at being thanked. "Jack is the one who went after you first. If he hadn't gone in, I don't know if I would've been brave enough to go after..." He admits, a guilty tone in his confession.

Sparkle gave Ink a sympathetic smile.  "Bravery doesn't matter, you were kind enough to reach out to me when I was upset..." she said, a hint of admiration sparking through her voice.  She wasn't the bravest pony herself, but in her opinion, kindness was the ultimate bravery.

Those burning tears finally spill over, looking at her from the corner of his eyes. "_{I just didn't want you to meet my dad. It would be bad for everyone.}"

Sparkle looked slightly confused, and a bit concerned.  "Your... dad?" she said, sounding a bit lost.  She immediately regretted asking, as it just occurred to her that this might be a sensitive topic for Ink.

"_{People are only allowed to meet my dad when they're dead, or family members come to uh...Check to make sure the dead are ID'd correctly.}" He mumbled.

"Oh... Um..."  Sparkle stammered, unsure what to say.  She wasn't exactly sure what that meant, but it sounded like Ink was worried about her staying alive.  She bit her lip, unsure what to do. 

"...He's a mortician." He mumbled. Ink's father in general was a strange concept. Just. What he does and his talent.

Sparkle blinked, her expression blank.  She didn't know what that was, but she really didn't want to find out.  Now she really wasn't sure what to say.

Eh...Ink gives up on trying to explain it. In a nutshell, his dad prepares dead ponies for funerals and to be buried. As well as working with the forensic team to see what the cause of death was. In general, not a very happy job.

Sparkle sat in silence for a bit, unsure whether she should try to change the topic or not.  She looked down at her hooves, thinking about what she could possibly say.

"Do you want to see the room you'll be staying in Miss...Uh. What is your name again?" Flustered Ink.

"It's Sparkle Chord, and, sure, thank you," Sparkle said, still breaking out of the awkward silence.

As Shadow walks towards the town with the lanterns creepy glow almost there sees a familiar cute changling riding a wolf.

Midawn looks around where are they???

*Delilah sees Shadow and waves to her*
"Hi!"
* ;3 *

"Hi, Delilah. When did you get a wolf..?" Shadow said swinging the lantern around as she spoke.

"He followed me, Then he picked me up and put me on his back."
* ;3 *

"Huh, thats weird. And whats with you adorable face hmmm Delilah." Shadow asks.

"Just happy."
* ;3 *

"Why so happy?" Shadow asks.

"Friends."
* ;3 *

"Friends? Shadow says such as forest friends or pony friends?" Shadow asks Delilah pointing at the wolf to the pony hiding behind a bush spying on ponies on the other side of said bush.

"Both."
*Delilah then looks behind her and sees the group, then the pony in the bush*

While Delilah looks at the group Shadow winks at the wolf and starts to sneak up on Delilah as she is distracted.

*Timber looked at the pony with a confused look but he let her do what she was doing*

Shadow than suprised hugged Delilah while nuzzling her.

Ink got up from his spot on the couch, setting down his now empty glass on the end table before heading upstairs. "This way, Sparkle." He peeped out softly.
The room he showed to her was surprisingly mostly untouched by the two's 'war of decor', it being subdued shades of white and green, an artificial bouquet of white star lilies in a lime vase beside the bed. The white curtains were rather thin and light, the dim light from the night making an appearance on the material. The bed had a plaid style blanket of the two colors, looking awfully soft and comfortable. In general, the neutral room spoke of 'guest'.

Sparkle smiled at Ink.  The guest room was lovely, and surprisingly peaceful.  'Thank you," was all she could think to say.

Midawn was in limbo but everything moves

*Delilah, surprised by the surprise hug, smiled as she was hugged/nuzzled*

Shadow asks Delilah "Are changlings ticklish?" Before trying to tickle Delilah.

"I don't know, Possibly,"
*Delilah said before realizing that she fell into a trap*

Shadow somehow managed to tickle Delilah before she can get away.

*Delilah laughs, an odd sound for a changeling, somewhat tries to get out of Shadow's grip*

Shadow than hugs Delilah and using her one good wing to tickle Delilah so that she can't escape.

*Delilah continues laughing, while still trying to escape Shadow's grasp*

"Do you know where Sparkle is I think I need the key cuase I get fly right now." Shadow asked Delilah stopping the tickling but still hugging Delilah.

*Delilah calmed down enough to talk*
"I think she is that way."
*Delilah said pointing in the general direction Sparkle and Ink went*

"Okays. What are you gonna do now by the way?" Shadow asked looking where Delilah pointed.

*Delilah shrugged*
"I'm not sure. Either stay with you. Or with my new wolfy friend."

One of Shadows wings twitches and makes its way towards Delilah.

*Delilah was trying to make her choice of either to stay with Shadow or with her new wolfy friend*

Shadow looked at the wolf until she was sure he or she got the idea. And than they both stuck at Delilah in a tickling to put all others to shame.

*Delilah, startled by the sudden tickling, started laughing*

Shadow tired by the events that has happened yawned taking her at tenon off of the wolf and Delilah for three seconds.

*Delilah managed to slip out of Shadow's grasp and onto the ground, where she lay thinking about things*

Shadow being extremely tired now just watches Delilah and starts to take a nap in the protection of timber and delilah.

*Delilah, seeing here chance, decided to search Shadow and her belongings with her at the moment*

All Delilah finds on Shadow is five bits, a cursed lamp (Shadow doesn't know that or doesn't care), some string, feathers that fallen off, and her bow on her head.

*Delilah puts the bits back where she found them, kept the lamp, the bit of string, and the feathers*

The lamp disappears and reappears back on to Shadow.

*Delilah shrugs as the lamp disappears and reappears on Shadow, and tries ty to see if she could use or make something out of the feathers and string*

Shadow is dreaming of walking down an alleyway with a lamp and creepy noises everywhere.

*Delilah sees Shadow fidgeting in her sleep so Delilah pokes her*

Shadow wakes up and asks Delilah "What's wrong says Shadow?"

"Nothing I just poked you for the fun of poking you. ;3"

"That's punishable by me convincing Sparkle to tickle you!"Shadow says

*Delilah giggles at the comment*

"When did get my feathers?." Shadow asks looking at the feathers Delilah has gathered.

"While you where asleep. ;3"

"While I was asleep." Shadow says checking her self "I thought I got rid of that latern meh./size] Well your lucky you didn't take any important feathers."

"Well, that was crazy," he said to no one, rising from the spot on the ground he had claimed. Restarting his walk, he headed back to his hotel room, wondering how the daylight snuck up during the night's misadventure.

Probably gonna think I'm up to shady business. At least they wouldn't be right, for once.

Re-entering his hotel room, he laid down, relaxing, not willing to sleep until he was fully comfortable. Reflecting over the past day's events, he began to think he should've gone to somewhere with less of a history of stress and localized conflict.

He bowed his head some in response to her thank you, then left the room. His room, also upstairs, was marked by a door with a wooden plaque with his cutie mark on it. He was awfully tired, and once double checking to make sure his bedroom door is shut, he climbs into his own bed, prepared to sleep finally. Eh.

Midawn looks around and to find she is under a sakura tree

"What important feathers?"

"Feathers that make me not crash when flying those feathers." Shadow said.

"So like magic feathers? Or Wing feathers?"

"My wing feathers you silly filly." Shadow said tapping Delilah on the head.

"Well that would be mean. I wouldn't do that, In fact no changeling is that mean. Well maybe Chrysalis."

"Chrysalis sounds like a mean person."

"She is."

"At least no one over here is mean besides the random alicorn."

Ink was gonna sit at his window, staring out of it tiredly. He was probably gonna fall asleep there, staring at all he can from his second story view.

Mind drifting, Joy finally began to accept the call of sleep. He'd had a busy day, as had the rest. It's a wonder they're not all asleep right now.

Midawn fell asleep under the closest tree

Midawn wakes up.her hoof is on her belly and she is cold.stone cold, a cold like you went to sleep in the snow.
but no snow or stone..a breeze of coldness. Midawn got up and stumbled twice and almost fell.she walked back to town like a drunk pony.

Shadow starts to tickle Delilhah trying to get her to do something. Shadow wasn't to sure yet.

When Midawn returned it looked like the town was full of ghosts

*Delilah makes a small noise that wouldn't be heard from a changeling, even if it was asleep*

Shadow smiled at the almost unhearable chirps the changeling was getting while she was thinking on what to do.
