Stormy walks around Ponyville instead of just reporting back to Star and Twi, just explorig and studying pony life.

Star makes it to Appalosa, and looks for the house on the paper.

He would find it on the farmer side of town, a quaint little ranch growing some vegitables on a decent sized farm. There appeared to be a main house in the front, supposidly where the family lives. On your way there you noticed a lot of missing posters with a pony looking similar to Stormy.

"Hello?"

You heard some fumbling from inside the house, that seemed to be getting closer and closer to the front door, "I got it!" sounded a deep, male voice. The door opens inwards, and you are greeted with a big brown pony with oddly colored eyes, one blue one green, his cutie mark a lettuce and, oddly enough, an overly blue blueberry. He smiles weakly, he had bags under his eyes, "Howdy."

"I have information regarding Red Velvet. May I come in?"

His eyes widen a bit and a much more serious tone hangs on his face, "Yes yes, come in..." he steps to the side.

"Thank you." Star stepped inside. "Is there a place you want to go to talk, or is here good?"

((Okay, two things. First, Red velvet has been missing for two days at most. Nopony is going to be that alarmed. Second, we should really wrap this up. Lets try to finish by frame 900, okay?))

He lets him, the inside of the house was modest and such, normal small country home. He leads you into the kitchen, where an older mare is sitting, maybe middle aged, "Heh? Who's this Rock?" she asks, looking at you. Rock smiles weakly, "This pony says he has some information regaurdin' our daughter..." ((It depends on the person and normal habits, and the situation on how alarmed they would be.))

((But it takes, like, half a day just to get between Ponyville and Applelosa! By train! If she was caught in Ponyville, then her parents likely don't even know she's missing yet!))
"Good news! Well, I say good news. I mean okay news. Well, I say okay news..." He shook his head. "Here, why don't I start from the beginning. Your daughter has been killed, but we can fix that. Kind of." He holds up a hoof. "Wait. No. That's not how you start these things." He shook his head again. "Look. She's going to be home, fine, within one day. That's for certain. She might be... different, physically, but her mind, what makes her her, will be fine. There's been a terrible accident in Ponyville. Not that you're likely too surprised at that after the past two years. Red Velvet got caught up in the trouble, but she's being saved as we speak. She got hurt really bad, so we've... made her a new body. Yeah, it's about as weird as it sounds. Don't think about it too hard. Anyway, she'll be okay. A bit weird, perhaps, but fine. And very much alive. Though I think she has suicidal tendencies now, I'm not really sure. You might want to watch out for that."

((That is a good point, I didn't think of that. Lemme see if I can fix it)) The father blinks, staring at you for a moment, "Well... I... guess I have to say I'm releived but... I don't really what to think... your news don't surprise us any, to be honest. She's got her head stuck in all that magic and science business, and I guess she went too far.... she went down to Ponyville for two weeks sayin' she was vistin' a friend who would help her with her research, and the day she said she's be back passed two days ago. I've been a little stressed, but her mama right here has been worried sick, put up missing posters the other day..." he's scratches the back or his head, "I... I don't rightly know what to say still.... but... what is she if her body os bein' rebuilt? A robot?"

"Close enough. Not exactly, but close enough. Her brain, though- that's still her's. And that, in the end, is the most important thing." Star said. "I don't know exactly when she'll get here, but it will be soon. I hope. I'm not exactly in the 'rebuilding' loop, but I know it's being done as we speak."

The father sighs, "Red... what in Tartarus did y'all get yourself into this time..." he looks up st you, smiling a little "Thank you boy, as long our little filly is there in mind and body (mostly) then it is fine.. and as long as it's the same Red, which it sounds like. Again, thank you for the news.... even if it's not the news we were hoping or expecting.... it's close enough."

"Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I didn't even know your daughter's name until six hours ago. I wasn't directly involved in what transpired. I do know that she... seemed content, when I talked to her. So that's something, at least." Star moved to leave. "I hate to be the barer of bad news. I'm just glad that it wasn't as bad as it could have been. You two take care, alright?" He paused. "Oh, and tell her to be careful around the eighth glyph, if she hasn't gotten that far already. It's... a nasty one."

The father nods at everything he says, but then frowns a little when Star starts on Glyphs, "Oh you do that Glyph buisness too? That girl has to stop with that bullsh*t, got her inspiration from some weird feller named Star Gazer or something. She reads his work all the time... I know she is a unicorn and all, but she could at least help a little!" He growls, "Shoulda cut off her horn at birth, like we did to the rest of the family..." he was referring to a highly conservertial practice of horn cutting, where at birth, the parents sometimes cut off the horn, "But I'm sure you don't wanta here about that, sir. Thank you for the news, and come back anytime if ya wanna check up on her."

"Yeah, that Star Gazer fellow, real idiot." Star said. "He doesn't even have a full sequence yet, but he's banking his entire career on it existing! Really should have put some of his eggs in a different basket, if you know what I mean. Still, that's how it goes with those young geniuses. Figure one thing out, and they think they know the world. Speaking of which..." Star takes out a card, one of his research service cards, with his contact information. "If she's interested in talking, here's my Ponyville address. He lives there, doesn't he? I would be more than happy to provide her lodgings if she comes by again." With a bow, Star Gazer ducked out of the house.

The father looked at the card, and frowned a little. He was about to rip it apart.... but instead, puts it in his pocket.

Star took twelve steps, then stopped. "Wait. I didn't buy a return ticket." He pats his coat. "Don't have any money." He looks at the tracks. "Well, better start walking."
