The quest for Princess Ember's cutiemark! (Open RP)

My daughter decided that she wanted to explore the world in search for her cutiemark. And since I heard of three little fillies doing the same, I agreed to bring her to Ponyville.

When we arrived, it was a bright and sunny day, and all the ponies where smiling. Nopony seemed to notice that we appered out of nowhere, guess thay where used to it.

"Mama, I'm a bit hungry.  May we please find a place to eat?" Embers stomach growled. I laughed and looked around for a simple place to eat. I found a resteraunt that looked like a nice place. So we waited to be sat.

"Oh!" a small filly walked up and she had no cutemarck as well

"Hmm? Oh well hello there." Ember noticed the little filly. She smiled and tilted her slightly. "May I ask, what is your name?"

I looked up to see Ember talking to a new filly. They where just about to sit us. "Would you like to join us for lunch?" I asked.

"my name is nik ,oh sorry  i cant mom is looking for me. I was supost to be home hours ago." said the filly
"There you are your mother is worried sick." A much older looking timber wolf said from no where

Ember and I stared at the timberwolf that had just approached thier new little mate. "Hello," I stated with a smile on my face. "And who might you be," I asked, quite properly. I looked down at Ember to see her standing straight, and tall as she ceremoniously curtsied toward the gentleman. "Pleasure to meet you," she stated softly as I praised her in my mind for being proper and respectful. I gently patted her head in praise but said nothing to her.

A little filly pranced up to their table and bounced up and down happily. "Hello!" she grinned. "I'm Peppermint Swirl. Are you new here - I mean..." She turned and glanced at a mare in the distance, who was giving her a cross look. Be polite, be GOOD!, the look said.

The filly turned back, gave a little gasp and executed a neat curtsy. When she spoke next, she sounded no longer like an excited little filly, but rather a calm, sophisticated pony.

"I give you the sincerest of apologies. May I introduce myself formally? I am Peppermint Swirl. Forgive my outburst; I am being trained to hold my excitement internally. The pony in the distance gave a satisfied nod and trotted off. "And you are?" continued Peppermint.

Me and Ember couldn't help but giggle at the Peppermint Swirl. "Hello there. I am Princess Dawn and this is my daughter Princess Ember. And we are a bit new here."

I noticed she look back and her excitment turn to calm and collective. Ember noticed as well.

"Your doing an amazing job with it. But may I ask, why hold back your excitment?" I asked looking confussed. "Showing a little couldn't hurt anypony could it?" Ember asked shyly.

Peppermint curtsied gracefully. "Thank you, your Highness, and I wish I could, but my aunt and I are hoping to secure me a place at Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Ponies. Aunt says I must be regal and graceful. It is an honour to be in the presence of Princesses. I am, as I may not have mentioned before, Duchess Swirl of Ponyville."

The mare had disappeared, and Peppermint gave a huge sigh of relief. "May I relax and use abbreviations and such now? My aunt is no longer here."

Princess Dawn gave a nod.

"Thank you. I have two sides, Duchess Swirl, a regal figure, and Peppermint, an excited little filly." She relaxed completely and slipped back into her normal, favourite role as a small filly. "So, your Highness, have you had lunch yet? This is a great restaurant! Ooh, can I sit with you?"

"Your welcome Duchess Swirl." I nodded.  "Me and Ember wish you luck." Ember smiled cheerfully and continued to look at the menu. "We are still looking and of course you an join us."

The server walks up with two cups of waters. She noticed Peppermint sitting with us. "What would you like to drink sweetie?" She asked. "And what would you like to eat you two?" She asked us.

"I'll take the daisy sandwich." Ember said and handed he menu to the server. "And I'll take the hay burger with hay fries." I smiled. "Also what ever this little filly wants." I winked to Pepperment Swirl.

Peppermint giggled. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" she babbled. She picked up a menu and asked Princess Dawn slightly shyly, "Um, please can I have a carrot dog with oat fries? And a chocolate milkshake?"

"Of course, sugar," the waitress smiled, picked up the menus with her teeth and walked back into the restaurant.

"Um, your Highness, can I call you Princess Dawn and Princess Ember?" Without waiting for a reply, Peppermint carried on regardlessly. "So, where do you live? Do you have a big castle? Where in Equestria? Is it nice? What colour is it?" She paused and looked quizzically at the princesses.

Dawn smiled at Pepermint when she asked if she could call us princess Dawn and Ember. "You can just call us Dawn  and Ember if you want." Ember giggled.

"We are here on a little vaccation and maybe I can receive my cutemark. Mother heard of three little fillies who are always looking for their cutiemarks. And thought maybe they could help me." Ember blushed.

The waitress came back with Pepermints chocolate milkshake. "Here you go suger. One chocolate milkshake. And your food should be coming out shortly." The waitress walked off.

"We live on a small island. Yes we do live in a 'you might get lost if your new' castle, and its pastel green and ice light blue." I explain to Peppermint.
Ember smiled big "We are not far from Appleloosa. But no pony seems to know the island exsists." She sighed.

"Well, now I know it exists!" exclaimed Peppermint, bouncing up and down. "Ooh ooh ooh! Can I come and visit your castle? Please? Pretty please? My auntie won't mind if I'm staying with princesses. She'll probably say it's a good chance for me to learn how to behave in the... in the... um..." She trailed off slowly, shook her mane quickly and sat up regally. "In the presence of royal company," she said, sounding like the rich duchess she was. Then she effortlessly went back to being a sweet little filly. She beamed up at Dawn and Ember with big, trusting emerald eyes and murmured, "And I could get my cutie mark too! At the same time as you!" she smiled, gesturing at Ember with a pale hoof. "Pleeeeeeaaaaaaase?"

I looked at Ember, wo had he puppy dog eyes and pouting moth. "Can she please come visit?" She asked. I looked at Pepperment and said. "If you go and ask your aunt for permission first. I than will let you come over." I smiled

The waitress brought over our food. "Here you are sweeties. A daisy sandwich for you, hay burger and fries for you and a carrot dog with out fries. Enjoy." She said and walked away.

"Smells amazing." I smiled and took a bite of the burger. Ember started to eat as well. "Oh, and if you aunt wants to meet me it wont be a problem at all."

"Yay! Thank you." Peppermint squeaked.

"Your very Welcome!" I smiled. Ember sqealed a little over the news. She was excited.

Peppermint finished her meal. A few minutes later, her aunt came trotting up. "Good afternoon," she said courteously, inclining her head towards Dawn and Ember.

Ember finished her food. "That was delicious mom. Thank you."
'Your welcome sweetie. How was everything for you Peppermint?" I asked.

Me and Ember smiled and bowed our heads when pepermints aunt came over. "Good afternoon. I am Princess Dawn Blossom and this is my daughter Ember." I introduced myself and Ember."May we ask, what is your name?" I asked.
